When I checked, my order showed that the glasses would be ready for pickup on 4/30. That date came and went with no call, text, or email notifying me of any delay. I called on 5/1 and was told the glasses would be available on Monday. Monday passed--again, no communication. I called that evening before closing and was told they would have my glasses on Tuesday, 5/5. It is now the afternoon of 5/5, and I still have not received any updates. When I called again, I was told the glasses had not arrived and that they "might" be available sometime this week, but no specific timeline could be provided. It has now been 12 business days, and there seems to be no sense of urgency or concern for the customer experience. Payment was collected promptly, but the product has yet to be delivered, and communication has been consistently lacking. Based on this experience, I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I searched up the ones i got and found them at other places for half the price. I went to costco and there are Gucci, Prada, and other high end glasses that cost less than the Calvin Kleins i bought. The only reason i got them here was because the ones i wanted were no longer carried at other places and the ones here are similar. The more they cost the more out of pocket you have to pay since the insurance only covers so much.

A Clear Winner for Our Family's Vision…read more Let's be real for a second: wrangling a 4, 5, and 6-year-old into any kind of medical office usually requires the patience of a pastor, a pocket full of bribe snacks, and a fistful of miracles. Getting them to sit still for an eye exam and an eye puff machine? I thought my wife and I were setting ourselves up for an absolute circus of horrors. But James Espinosa Optometrist in Highland didn't just survive the chaos of our three little ones--they masterfully orchestrated it. The Vibe & Ambiance: While an optometry clinic isn't exactly a candlelit restaurant, the atmosphere here is incredibly warm and inviting. The waiting area is impeccably clean, bright, and comfortable enough that you don't feel like you're sitting in a sterile hospital ward. The staff are so friendly, we were grateful that Jenny walked us through the whole process and answered all our questions with warmth mixed with professionalism. It feels like a neighborhood staple. This makes sense, given that my family has been coming here for 8 years! The "Menu" (Care, Precision, and Frames): I know most reviews focus on the "taste and presentation" of a location, so let me translate that into the optical world. The "presentation" of their care is top-notch. It is incredibly uncommon to get kids' eyes checked so thoroughly at such young ages (4, 5, and 6), but Doctor Espinosa was an absolute pro. They used age-appropriate techniques to keep the kids engaged, and the results were phenomenal. The "taste" of success here is that their prescriptions were absolutely spot on. My kids are seeing clearly, and the frames they helped us pick out are both durable (a necessity for a 4-year-old!) and look fashionable. Service & Staff: The staff at Espinosa deserves a standing ovation. Not once did they look annoyed by the wiggles or the endless questions coming from my pint-sized trio. They were attentive, incredibly patient, and guided us through the whole process with a smile. Jenny even came through with some clutch chips and meal bars when it came time to dilate their eyes, which totally saved the day. The Plot Twist (And Why We Stay): Here's where the story gets juicy. Out of pure curiosity, we decided to drop in and look for frames at one of those massive, big-box vision franchises with a large selection (that shall remain nameless). Even with the absolute best top-tier vision insurance, the franchise tried to hit me with a mountain of hidden fees and upcharges that made my jaw drop. It felt like buying a used car from an OfferUp parking lot! I immediately ran back to the transparent, honest pricing at Espinosa. They don't play games with your wallet! The Balanced Perspective: If I had to offer one tiny area for improvement, it would be that the parking lot can get a little snug during their busiest afternoon hours. You might have to circle once or twice--but honestly, for the level of care you receive inside, I'd happily park a block away. The Verdict: James Espinosa Optometry Doctor has been our go-to for the last 8 years, and after our recent experience with the kids and the sticker shock of the big-name competitors, we are strictly an Espinosa family. If you want genuine care, precise prescriptions, and a team that treats you like family (and tolerates your toddlers), look no further. Five stars. Highly, highly recommend! ‍‍‍

I've been coming to James Espinosa, OD since around 2017, and I absolutely love this place. From…read morethe moment you walk in, it feels personal, they know my name, and the welcome is always genuine. The manager, Jenny, is amazing and truly keeps everything running smoothly. Dr. Espinosa is cool, approachable, and clearly cares about his patients. On my most recent visit, I saw their newer doctor, Dr. Fabrizio, and she took great care of me as well, super attentive and professional. They always have a great selection of lenses and frames, they take insurance, and what I really appreciate is how helpful they are when it comes to choosing frames. They actually give honest feedback and help you decide what looks best, instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own. If you're single and need someone to externally process frames with you, this is definitely the place to go, they've got you covered! Overall, it's just a fun, friendly, welcoming office. They're also Christian-owned, which I really appreciate as a Christian myself. I can't recommend James Espinosa OD enough.

I haven't bothered to try 'pick-up' anymore because of repeated issues - easier to order and hit the $minimum for free delivery.

I am writing to formally share a concerning customer service experience I had at the Walmart…read morelocated at 4210 Highland Ave., Highland, CA 92346, on the evening of September 28, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m. I entered the store to purchase supplies for a corporate team-building event that I am leading for the healthcare organization where I work. This activity is currently being piloted, with the possibility of expanding it more broadly within the organization if it is well received. After locating the items I needed in the toy department, I noticed that they were secured inside a locked glass cabinet. I located an employee named Dylan and approached him politely. I first greeted him by saying, "Hello, how are you today?" He did not respond to my greeting, which I initially thought nothing of, as I understood that he was working and may have been busy. I then pointed toward the glass cabinet and asked if he could "let me in," referring to accessing the merchandise inside the locked cabinet. Dylan looked me up and down with an expression that appeared visibly annoyed and responded in an irritated tone, "What do you mean, let you in?" I clarified that there were items behind the locked glass that I wanted to purchase but could not access. He then responded harshly that he could go over there. I replied, "Yes, please." What concerned me most happened as Dylan opened the cabinet. Because his demeanor toward me had been noticeably unfriendly, I actually apologized to him and asked, "I'm sorry, did I do something to offend you? Was there something I should have said differently?" Rather than acknowledging how the interaction had come across, Dylan walked away without looking at me and replied, "Normally people just say, 'Can you open the cabinet?'" I found this interaction unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I had approached Dylan respectfully, greeted him, and simply asked for assistance accessing merchandise that Walmart requires an employee to unlock. Even after noticing his demeanor, I made an effort to determine whether I had unintentionally offended him and gave him an opportunity to clarify the situation. Unfortunately, his response made the interaction even more uncomfortable. I fully understand that everyone can have a difficult or stressful day, particularly employees working in a busy retail environment. I am not expecting employees to be cheerful at every moment. However, I do believe customers who approach employees respectfully should receive basic courtesy and professionalism in return. At no point during our interaction did Dylan apologize, acknowledge how his communication may have been perceived, or make an effort to provide a positive customer service experience. I am sharing this complaint because I hope Dylan can receive additional coaching or training regarding professional communication and customer service. An interaction like this may seem small, but employees are representatives of the Walmart brand, and the way customers are treated can significantly influence their perception of the company. I have shopped at Walmart many times and have never felt the need to submit a complaint like this. I hope management at the Highland location will review this incident and use it as an opportunity for coaching and improvement. I sincerely hope Dylan is able to learn from this interaction and provide future customers with the courtesy and respect that should be expected from any customer-facing employee. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns.
