I have been going to this optometry for over 10 years recently the way they treat the patients has really gone down hill. In the past 2 months I have called 3 times to check for appts and check my eligibility, 3 times I was put on hold for over 10 minutes then was given some excuse about why they couldn't schedule or check . This last time the staff member asked me for all of my information as if she was going to check for benefits and placed me on hold for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes she picked up and asked me all of my information again and then proceeded to tell me I have to call back because she's busy. Why not just tell me that the first time she answered? Also their frames are outdated i feel like they never get new frames in. The fact that they are right around the corner from my house kept me coming here but after this last interaction I will not be coming back here. read more

Staff communication is terrible. Arrived at the appointment only to be told that my mother could not be seen because she is a Spanish speaker and the appointment was booked with no interpreter. The staff member who booked the appointment over the phone knew that she was a Spanish speaker and knew that I could translate for her. White receptionist emphasized that it has to be a professional translator according to IEHP. While I appreciate that interpreters are being provided, in no way did they (receptionist) take ownership of their (the businesses) mistake. The receptionist was dismissive and lacked empathy for wasting our time. Don't waste your time going here. I booked the appointment here because I support local businesses, but honestly just go elsewhere where customer service is actually valued and receptionists and staff are trained to be consistent and compassionate in their communication. read more

They do not really help much as far as Trying to find a roper fit for your glasses selection. You're on your own there. Everything I have ever read indicates that the fit of the glasses is important yet I help offered. Doctor is fairly nice. The office looks like something straight out of the 80s. Could really use a makeover. It's a dusty little place. read more

Dr. Law is great! He always takes the time to explain to you when your eyes are changing. They do all the necessary test. I do have to say the staff is usually great but yesterday I think one of them was having a bad day. I'll admit I was being a "Karen" for a minute or two, but I immediately caught myself and apologized. Apparently, this particular staff person doesn't accept apologies. I apologized twice because I thought the she didn't hear me the first time, but when I apologize the second time and she didn't respond, I felt that was kind of rude. She could've at least said, "Thank you." She could've also just acknowledge me by looking up and giving a quick smile. But she did neither. I'm just gonna let it go as she was having a bad day. other than that, the stuff there is great. I've been going there for over 25 years. read more

The front staff was so nice, I have 3 children that go there 11, 13, 16 and myself. ( I am also a wheelchair user) The doctor explains everything that is needed. The appointments were fast, even with 4 patients, sometimes a walk in, if glasses got broken. We have been going there for the last 3 years I would not change eye doctors for anything. Horrible staff, I don't even think they know what is going on in their own office. Would get a call that my daughters glasses were ready, showed up and they were not. My daughter is 4 and breaks them constantly so I do have to deal with the staff more often than the doctor. My problem is not with the doctor at all, he is great. but if you have young children that will probably break their glasses and you have to deal with this office staff, I suggest you go elsewhere. I got a call that the frames to her glasses were going to be a shade darker pink because the color she had was unavailable, I told the lady that was fine I would still come to get them. this was on a Monday. I didn't get a chance to pick them up and I got a call Friday that they were now brown.. not sure how from Monday they went from darker pink to now being brown?? Like I said the lack of communication in the office is terrible. I told them to keep the glasses I would take my business else where. I never leave reviews but this was just a terrible experience I got no apologies when I drove down there on my day off waited 25 min just to be told the glasses weren't ready ( even when I got a call that morning) that they were ready to pick up. Just a sarcastic young man and girl that stood next to him looking down and trying to keep in a laugh. The staff is disrespectful and with an apology I would have just dropped it. Not once for anything that happen did I get any genuine response. I reported them to my insurance and will be writing a google review as well. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE the doctor should really re consider his front desk staff. read more
