I'm grateful that this Walmart exists because it's close to my job and allows me to grab the things I need after work. But the issue is that there is barely ever any close parking in the shopping center because there are several other big stores such as Publix. I also often find it hard to find things in the store. And each time I try to locate an item that I saw online it is never on the shelf that it states online. Like any Walmart there are only a few registers open but I usually do the self checkout. Unbelievable! I just left this place beyond frustrated. I came to pick up two Easter glass cups that were clearly listed as in stock on the app, with the option for same-day pickup. My friend had even placed a pickup order earlier with no problem. When I asked an employee to help me grab the cups--so I wouldn't have to make another trip--they insisted that if they weren't on the shelf, they didn't have them. I even showed them the app proving they were in stock, but no one wanted to move or check the back. It was like they just didn't want to do their job. And guess what? A few hours later, the Easter Bunny magically made them appear for pickup! Funny how that works when no one actually wants to help a customer in person. Super unprofessional. read more

I've had reason to stop here twice over the past few weeks, once on a weekday and another time on a weekend. Both times the parking lot was overflowing and parking was nearly impossible to find. There seem to be a few Walmart stores of this same style in the Miami area...Not as nice as most of their older locations, not open 24 hours like most Walmart stores once were, built quickly by all appearances with exposed ceiling support beams and odd lighting that makes the store feel more like an old grocery store that was gutted and repurposed as a Walmart vs. the look and feel of most larger/better Walmart Supercenters. The layout isn't as nice, as well organized or as spacious as some of this company's other stores, and I've found a number of items that have been out of stock here. read more

Photo taken on 9/5/2020; If you're wondering why you can't find Lysol or disinfecting wipes, this is why. During a middle of a Pandemic and Lysol wipes are difficult to find, Walmart is allowing people to buy shopping carts full of wipes. Mind you this individual came back for another cart full! Closing in on its 1 year anniversary, this Walmart is a pleasant surprise. The warehouse structure may fool you, but this location is unlike all other Walmarts. This Walmart has the warmth that others lack, a young heart beating in place of a cash register. My experience at this Walmart was excellent. Let me tell you that I avoid Walmart like I avoid weekend projects at the house. I had to go to the Customer Service counter where I was helped promptly. The associate and the manager that helped me were nice and we even joked around. I was quickly dispatched with all my problems solved. After this nice encounter, I decided to walk around instead of running for the nearest exit. I was curious to see if this experience expanded through out the whole store. This Walmart is clean and clutter free. There are employees walking the floor, and I spoke to a few. All were eager to help. Everything was so perfect that I started to forget I was at Walmart. I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store. Of course, this location had to trade being overstocked versus having aisles where people can walk. I simply didn't see no mess anywhere. Unfortunately, this was too good for me. My brain was having a hard time associating Walmart with organization. I couldn't accept the fact that somehow Walmart was miraculously elevated to the realms of holiness and cleanliness. So I asked myself "what are the messiest areas in Department Stores". The evil me quickly came up with an answer: the candles and the magazine racks. So I made my way to those departments, lusciously wanting to find candles out of place and magazines sharing their space with random titles, to be able to catch them in the act and scream "I knew it". But no. When I got there, everything was organized. I left quietly. This Walmart is the real deal. read more

It is not a bad store but regardless of what time I go the line at cashier or self check out is horrible with plenty of cashier areas empty . Express line of 20 items or less is often not even that but you can't blame the cashiers who deal with rude Miami garbage all day long to get into arguments over this . A LOT of people go there but when it was 24 hours it was great . I work at night so would go once every 2 weeks or so to food shop at wacky am hours and I was in and out , this was before the COVID changing of hours . They were good at enforcing social distancing and there was a line to enter 6 ft apart before going into the store. I believe they also offered wipes for the grocery carts. It's a big Supercenter and they were very well stocked, I may start coming here instead of the neighborhood Walmart. read more

I've never experienced the vulgarity and utter trashiness like that by multiple employees in the Walmart on 8400 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33155. On Oct. 1, 2024, I witnessed the woman employee who checks receipts when customers are leaving the store yell and curse at a elderly customer, then turned around and said in a loud voice, "who the f^*% does he think he is." She kept her trash talk for a few minutes and no supervisor stopped her. How this crude and ignorant person has a job there is beyond me. While I was shopping. two of their employees completely ignored me when I called out for help. I said, "Miss" numerous times and she just kept walking looking at her phone. One of their supervisors, her name is something like Catishia, must have a huge chip of insecurity on her shoulders because she answers customers with a disgusting expression on her face. She should not even be allowed to clean bathrooms. I guess if one of their managers has no class or even the simplest of courtesies, expecting it from their employees is futile. This WalMart is the worst. Very nice to look at and it opened with a bang but the pharmacy is poorly stocked and the staff is minimal which makes it impossible for them to check with other locations. Complete waste of time driving there. We all knew Walmart's strategy -- move into an area, drive other business out and then force consumers to take whatever service they care to deliver once they've reduced competition. Let me preface this by saying that this place is a zoo. Like literally there are so many people there and the parking is a nightmare but I must say on my most recent visit I was amazed at how many food options they have when it comes to the bakery. I think that's what really impressed me. I got a sugar high without actually eating any sugar because there were so many desserts and sweets that caught my eye. See photos. Now I will say that this Walmart gets an A in cleanliness. It was pretty organized. I really did the review just to rave at how many items they had in the bakery. I particularly thought the unicorn cake was super cute. I wanted to buy everything in the bakery lol it all looked so yummy. I do think something to note is that in the cosmetics area they have their own personal check out/cashier there and you can't take any items from that area without paying for them first. Meaning you can't leave with nail polish remover or makeup in your hands and browse around outside of that area for more things unless you pay for them right then and there. Hence why I took off two stars (one for the parking and the other for that weird cashier situation). I mean it did cut my check out time In half and i didn't have to go in those long lines that everyone else has to go through. But if I didn't just need to buy cosmetic items, I would be pretty displeased being that i couldn't keep shopping around in other areas of the store. Overall I will be back , one because the prices for certain items are better, but two, the bakery. From the freshly baked ciabatta bread to the creative cake flavors and decoration. read more

Curtains open. You're a grad student married to a middle school teacher, and you're not exactly rolling in dough. Enter Walmart. Grad student-middle school teacher couple starts to notice $$ staying IN their pockets, instead of constantly streaming out as it was before. Seriously. When we occasionally hit up other grocery stores for last-minute or harder-to-find items, we always look at the bill and think, "We could have bought so much more at Walmart." And it's definitely not like shopping here is some huge sacrifice. It's a really nice Walmart! Trust me. I lived in Tallahassee and visited Gainesville frequently. There, you definitely learn to understand www.peopleofwalmart.com. This Walmart is clean, organized, and *GASP* the employees are helpful! I can usually find what I want, although sometimes I have to head over to the nearby Publix Sabor to find some unusual items (most often spices or produce that some random recipe calls for). Walmart has some awesome bread products in their bakery. Cibatta rolls, croissants, you name it. And the meals in their ready-to-eat food area look and smell amazing, though I haven't tried it yet. The bathrooms are okay, although they are hidden waaay in the back of the store. Also, just park in the back section near the bank. No one wants to walk. I am now one of those people who sees something at another store, laughs, and says, "$5?! I would not pay more than $3.98 for that at Walmart." Sad but true. Lights dim. Its is up to the store managers discretion whether or not to match the price you present to them from any competitor (physical or online) I met all the requirements in the Walmart Price Match policy (both for physical stores and the separate policy for online stores) but "We will not honor that Price Match." is what I was told I've tried. The best thing to do is to get here as soon as they open. There's adequate parking, but get there early if you want a spot near the store. The location gets pretty crowded at times. I like that the prices are way cheaper than other grocery stores, so I can stock up without hurting my pockets. They have some flavors of things that the Publix I go to does not offer. However, the do lack certain items that I am used to buying. The staff is super friendly. I have only had 2 incidents with staff members. They were the exception to this. I go back for the prices... Went to this location of Walmart since I was in the area. Located in a shopping center with many more stores and restaurants. The parking is ample. Overall it was clean but a little bit unorganized at some places. Redbox to rent your DVD's and a coffee maker machine available there too. This Walmart it's kind of new compared with the other one I went near my area. So while it's not the worst location I've seen, it's certainly not the best either. I originally needed something from the camping section and ended up adding a few extra essentials to the list. I find the aisles to be quite narrow leaving most sections to easily get quite congested during a regular afternoon. The prices are the lowest in the area however so certain trips add up to make this spot the most frugal shopping spot for most of your grocery and home goods. I do give props to their pharmacy section for being pretty packed with all the essentials and specialty items you could think of or need. Baby clothing is ideal to buy here since the usage of it is slim and it's always good to have extra items without the hefty price tag attached to it. The dog food is priced almost the same as target but I saw less variety here. It's a full grocery store as well so I picked up some chicken for a super cheap price. The in-store pickup closes after 8pm so plan accordingly. If you do come in during those times, the pickup is super fast and right at the entrance. It's directly west of the Palmetto Expressway on Coral Way and although they parking is a bit difficult to maneuver around and the aisles are narrow, they do offer the best pricing. read more

First: Automatic 3 stars for the fact that the employees in this store SPEAK ENGLISH. Now, as for the store, it's your typical Wal-Mart Supercenter. Stocked with the essentials and a busy staff. A lot of people come here but it never feels packed. Clean and NOT pilled up with junk on the floors. I can navigate through the store without crashing into someone's cart. One thing this location could improve upon is its parking, though there are other area businesses (Sams Club, TJ Maxx) with additional parking, it's a bit of out the way. I waited an hour for Roxana in the cosmetics department to ask me if I was doing OK or atleast thought she would be useful to ask if I needed help since that's part of "good customer service" you would think. Wow. I mean, I don't usually expect premium customer service from monster-stores. As employees normally have a "somebody else will do it" mentality. But this is taking it to a new level. We get here trying to buy a steamer and the particular one we want isn't on the shelf. So we ask a woman in the electronics section for help and she says to find someone over in furniture to help us. But... why? I've worked in retail before and everyone has access to the stock database. She could literally type in the SKU (which we have) into the computer she is standing in front of to search whether the steamer is in stock. But alas, that is way to much to ask. We wait for someone in furniture, and when a man comes over, we think we may finally be on track to getting this steamer. We point out the item and he makes immediately tells us no-- that only the store in Doral carries extra stock for steamers. Seems a bit weird. So, anytime this store runs out of the two steamers that they can fit on the shelf, I guess someone runs over to Doral to grab two more. No one seemed willing to go beyond taking a look at the shelf and immediately declaring that there were no more. And it may very well be that there were no more, but I would have appreciated the effort put into checking. Booooooo. read more

This new super Wal-Mart just opened a couple of days ago and it was already a madhouse. If you've been to one super Wal-Mart, you've been to them all. I swung by on a weeknight under stormy weather and parking was a bear. I feel for Wells Fargo customers since the bank shares the parking lot. Actually, I feel bad for all residents of the area since traffic is going to be just as bad outside the parking lot as it is inside. I'm glad the local Publix has some competition since their food is overpriced. Being that this location is new, everything was in its' place and the floors were gleaming.
