I don't usually do reviews of large corporate stores but I thought this would be useful. This is a super convenient store, right in south Miami's Red road and sunset . Brand new building, clean well stocked store. The employees actually can help you find things. There's always been someone nearby to ask, never had to push that annoying button and wait while the robot intercom signals to everyone that you are trying to buy a box of condoms and a pregnancy test. Anyway, checkout is easier because it's automated self check out yourself. Wait, that's too many selfs. Ok, you get it. So now you can buy your hemorrhoid cream and no one has to know. The employed man, who has been working downstairs for some time now, is very rude and impolite. Today he was talking to a customer about where to eat in Miami, recommending restaurants, while I waited in line. This is his workplace; he's there to serve customers. He can certainly be friendly and give recommendations, but not when he has customers waiting. He should have told the person he was chatting with, "Just a moment, please". I'll take care of this customer and then I'll give you some recommendations." Very unprofessional. read more

I feel like this CVS gets a bad rap however, it's one of the only ones with good customer service and friendly staff. I'm always greeted in a friendly manner when I enter and when I go to pickup online shopping orders, it's always a breeze. I like the layout too, the pharmacy being on the second floor with other health/wellness items is easy to distinguish and I'm usually in and out of there fast. My only complaint is the very limited street parking that you have to pay for :( it would be nice if there were some public spots you could designate for CVS customers. read more

‼WARNING‼IF YOU ARE PARKING HERE OR NEAR HERE BE CAREFUL THEY WILL BOOT YOU AND MAKE YOU PAY $65!! Came in to pick up a UPS package I kid you not I was there for no longer than 10 mins inside the store. I parked next to the CVS granted the parking lot did say they would tow your car and to not park there I was under the impression that they could spare there parking lot for 10 mins given it was late at night and all the stores were closed and no one was in the parking lot. Never let your assumptions guide you clearly! Came back out with my package and the guy had just finished putting the boot on my car I begged him to take it off and told him I didn't have money I kid you not this man started saying and I quote " call your mom, your dad, your sister, aunt, uncle but you aren't getting the boot off until you pay $65." And he just left and told me to call him when I had the money. This man had to have been watching me from across the street to have boot my car this efing fast. Flu season hit me hard this winter. Been sick nearly a month with sinusitis and finally threw in the towel to see a doctor. Enough of this anguish. Thankfully the pharmacist filled my scripts and within 24 hours my symptoms are much better. This location is close to home. They received the transmission directly from the physician I saw a few hours earlier. The pharmacist closes at 7pm so be sure to pick it before that time. The pharmacist explained what I was getting and how to use the medication which was helpful too. This store is a little run down. Not sure why CVS needs to have two competing locations within a few blocks of one another, as another location is on the corner do 57th and Sunset and much newer. This location is slightly closer. I parked right next to the building which is probably ok. They only have three spots. read more

One very rude staff in specific it was a ginger woman. Discriminated customers and lied to them. I also talked to other friends about her and what she did and they all had a story about her. Also argued with every customer i saw, just gives everyone around her a hard time. read more

Extremely bad CVS, if you have the option go somewhere else, and if CVS ever reads this review then fire the pharmacy staff. The ladies who work in there are extremely rude and literally I had one of them yell at me for asking for another prescription. The second time I came I was in for no less than 5 minutes and came out to some guy putting a boot on my car, at like 8:30pm! The guy who puts a boot on your car is very rude too, hopefully he can find a job more fulfilling then robbing students of $65 which was money meant to go to groceries! Thanks CVS! read more

Wow, a store with actual customer service (well, decent at least) in Miami! While the lines are sometimes long (particularly at lunch time) and cause me to dock a star, I have received generally positive customer service at this location. Two particular cases stand out: 1. I went in a few weeks ago with a little eye irritation. Going with an out-of-state-doctor-friend recommendation, I picked that product up. The pharmacist on duty offered to take a look at it herself, and recommended an additional product. When I came back 4 days after with a prescription, the pharmacist actually remembered me! 2. Tonight, when I was doing last minute toy shopping for my 5 and 8 year old nephews. I don't know the difference between a Zhu Zhu Toy and Zha Zha Gabor. Well, one of the managers offered to help me pick out toys. Yes, there were other last minute customers in the store, so the extra effort is appreciated! read more

My photo order was not correct but Nyssa stepped in and fixed it for me. Nyssa reprinted the stuff that was not correct while I waited to save me a trip back. Delma also helped out. This CVS is in quite a convenient location, as it is across Sunset Place. Parking is probably a challenge, so keep that in mind. I parked in the lot next to CVS, and while I was getting back into my car after purchasing my items, I noticed the sign that said "PARKING IS NOT FOR CVS CUSTOMERS" in that lot. Oops. I came late enough on a Sunday that the businesses that do use this strip mall were not affected by my parking, but be warned that they claim to tow if you park here during regular business hours and they catch you walking to CVS. There is a limited amount of street parking, and I assume this is where you're expected to park. Unlike most CVS locations that are open until midnight (or are 24 hours), this location actually closes at 10. I have never seen that, but I guess they just don't get the foot traffic, especially on a Sunday, to warrant staying open so late. I have been here twice and both times the store was dead enough that the young man behind the register offered his assistance in finding the items I sought. I felt kind of bad, they must be so bored...and lonely! The young men working the registers look to be in their 20s and can get flirty, if that bothers you, perhaps you should skip this store. I do enjoy getting the assistance in finding my items so my trips here are usually 5 minutes and under, a rare feat in any other CVS location in Miami. Although there's another nearby CVS, I doubt you'd find such helpful employees! read more

Went to get a flu shot and the pharmacist, Ms Yanez busy as she was being the only person there, was super nice, efficient and professional. Quite a difference from the Walgreens I went to a few days ago on Miller where there were 5 people working and not a single customer. After waiting half an hour I asked the pharmacist about the delay and she told me that prescriptions take priority. Thank you very much. I am coming back to see Ms Yanez for my shingles vaccine! ***Warning they have a guy sitting in a car with dark tinted windows watching and waiting to see who's going into the store and who's not.**** Assholes put a boot on my car before I even made it around the corner into the store. Had to pay $65 on spot to get it off, I'm so f'n pissed I will never do business with this money hungry location ever again!!!! They don't even give you time to get around the corner into the store. Never one to review pharmacies or grocery stores but I had to take the time to mention Christopher, one of the store managers at this location. I came in looking for an iPhone charger and not only did he help me select the one that is the best quality, he offered to charge my phone for a few minutes so I wouldn't be alone with it dead. He went above and beyond the call of duty with a cheerful smile and pleasant demeanor, I am so impressed! read more

Clean store in a central location. Friendly staff but prices were a bit crazy ($5 for a $3 toothbrush really?!) but it's Miami.

I go to this CVS all the time as it's right around the corner from my work, it's always clean and the one lady that is usually there at the register is very nice. However, whenever I go in to get my pills at the pharmacy it's always slow. There is one lady who puts the pills together and mind you I go every month and every time she see's me it's as if she's never seen me, she is just rude. Yesterday I went and she came up to the register so I thought she was going to ask me my name, and so I told her I'm here to pick up under "Q". She simply looked at me with a face and said in a moment and walked away. RUDE! Another time I order my pills through the phone and when I went they didn't have it ready, they said they had no order from me, and I said that I had ordered it yesterday through the phone and had a confirmation. So they go look up my name on the other side, they said it will take 2 minutes, so I go to the other end to pay and the guy there throws the pills by the lady and she's working on some other pills and I'm standing there for about 4 minutes until finally I had to look at the guy and say "are those my pills"? He said yes she will be with you in a moment. Explain to me why he couldn't ring me up considering I had been there for a good 20 minutes. So she finally comes to ring me up about 2 minutes later. UNBELIEVABLE! Just Rude. I continue to go here only because it is walking distance from my work and it's convenient but if not I wouldn't go to this pharmacy at all. The rest of the store is fine, clean, you can always find stuff and the lady up front is very nice and helpful. read more

Pharmacy closes at 7 pm on Mondays, quite early particularly for a booming area like South Miami. Closing time is particularly odd for a pharmacy within such close proximity to hospitals including Larkin/Baptist South Miami. Also, pharmacist was quite curt/abrupt. read more
