Oh my word! What is happening here ?! I was born and raised in this ZIP Code and I saw this store open and on a steady decline ever since. I've obviously lost count of how many times I've stepped foot in this store. It is the closest one to my house however, I only visit this particular location if I'm short on time because truly it is a disaster. The shelves are empty and disorganized and truly it leaves no desire to shop. Below are some photos of some shelves that I organized myself and I am not an employee of target! I should've taken before and then after but passing by certain areas, I just could not help myself, but to organize the shelves. The only thing I can really count on this location for is drive up service for any emergency items, but walking in here is a waste of time It is obvious that this is a very high traffic store. It's in a very centralized high populated area of Miami, but clearly it is understaffed, and so the store is messy and chaotic. You would think that target would allocate more workers or funds to make this store look better. It could be so much more. read more

Tried to apply savings/promotion on purchases I was going to make. Reading terms and conditions, my purchases do not fall into any of the term or conditions. Called Target and they provided with an additional term which was not mention in initial terms and condition, only to benefit themselves. They lie and provide false promotions. By the time I got to Target I was stressed out and pissed. I had tried two different Best Buys looking for a replacement strap for my brothers Iwatch. It broke and we were in the middle of a vacation. He wanted to have it usable for when we were on the cruise. After two different stores came up empty, I told him we did not have anymore time to keep searching thru Miami. The cruise was the next morning and we were going to be late for the theatre that night if we kept going. This Target store was near the Bestbuy and we could not find a strap to replace it either. I told him look do you really need to have a watch. He insisted on having any kind of watch. So again, we walked the entire store because no employee in it would help or direct us. Either they gave us vague, general directions, did not know, or just walked passed us. Eventually we found some... some overpriced for near $40 when they should be $15. As a woman who loves beauty products, I really appreciate that this location has an ulta section; especially for your more premium travel items. Not to mention, every other department appeared to be slightly larger (men's/ women's section). And if you love Casa Luna bed linens, this location has a designated section for several pieces in their collection; candles, sprays, duvets, and decorative pillows. The manager is very rude and that's saying it in a nice way. I play tcg games and it's very difficult to find cards at msrp now a days. My mother in law caught a restock and I asked her to get me one piece packs just a couple. The manager or associate yelled at her and said "it's 1 per person" when there's a sign that specifically calls out Pokemon not anything else. Review is for their drive up service. This is a great service. Sometimes the thought of the crazy lines in Target is enough to deter me from getting what I need there. This service is great because you can shop online or on their Target app on your phone and then get your goods contact-free. I'm a walking cliche and love a good Target run with a Starbucks in hand. Of course, I go in with a short list (laundry detergent, razors, a candle...) and somehow walk out with my arms full and $300 in debt. There are three Targets relatively close to where I live (Dadeland, Midtown and here). Thankfully, this one is the closest and by far my favorite! The store recently got a facelift and seems to be rebranded, which I assume will soon happen everywhere. It's most apparent from the outside, with a giant target (get it?) donning the facade instead of the actual name Target. If you're a frequent visitor, you'll notice some sections were flipped around which can be disorienting, but I'm sure I won't remember the difference in a few weeks. In general though, certain sections feel bigger, with the most noticeable difference being the beauty section... It's BEAUTIFUL! Like all Targets, there's a Starbucks and concessions stand inside. Unlike the other two Targets, parking is relatively easy with a giant lot in front, instead of a garage. There's also a Publix, liquor store, Best Buy, and furniture store in the general vicinity if you need to run other errands. read more

This review is specifically for the Target on Bird Road by the Palmetto. Target, in general, is fine. You can find just about anything at Target and the prices are comparable to any other general merchandise retailer. The Westchester target is really just so-so. I prefer just about any othet Target in Miami; only frequenting this location out of convenience. The staff usually are not helpful and quite unaccomodating. Most of the time they offer no answers to questions, give an attitude if you need more from them than a simple ring up, and will direct you to customer service before even attempting to solve a problem. This, of course, is not reflective of every employee there, but has been my general experience. Only reason I bumped the location from 2 to 3 stars is that they are a super target (has a grocery section and a pharmacy) and their Starbucks is nice. read more

I picked up my online order and was handed a tied up bag. I had my puppy with me so I didn't check (I should have) when I got home one of the products was clearly a sample. No top on the spray and it has been used. This is my first time purchasing online and picking up at this store and it blows my mind that the employee who prepared my order, decided to put a clearly used item in my bag. This is unacceptable. I will not use this service again. Update: after speaking with the store manager, who didn't seem to think it was a big deal because he just said, "oh it's okay, just come and exchange it" First of all this was neighborhood Target because the product was not available there. This is such an inconvenience. So I contacted Target through chat and the representative finally issued a refund after I asked her if I could go to a closer target to resolve this. This review if for Target located on Bird Road and 77 Ave. Even if you have to drive an extra mile do yourself a favor and go visit Target Dadeland- it's a world of a difference. Check pricing at BirdRoad. Way too many switch and bait advertising at this particular store. They leave up sales prices that don't ring up and management will NOT honor "Target policy and honor you at price". Headsets still had old sales ticket and they would not honor it. The managers seem to be related not to mention they're rude, it's like a mafia at the Bird road Target. And then, I bought what ended up being a used vacuum - realized it when I got home. I exchanged it for another one, which I opened and took quick look at in the store only to find out out that it once another one that had been used!!! Same Day!! Went back to exchange this time I opened the box and took out piece by piece to revise at the store and to my surprise guess what had been put back in the shelve?!?!? Now this is a Target! You can tell it was recently updated and all I can say is wow! This location is not close to my house at all, but you bet I'm going to do the drive for it. I always let Target tell me what I need once I get there and by the the looks of it, this one carries it all. The makeup/beauty section has sooo many goodies. I saw a lot of newer items that aren't in my "home" Target yet. So far I have no complaints and we checked out quick with the self serve line. Was trying to do a review for the Starbucks inside of this Target because I frequent there often. The girls are so nice who are there! So friendly and hospitable! They don't make you wait long at all. They always have what I want in stock! Can't complain at all about them and this Starbucks! They also offer cup holders that attach to the shopping cart so you can carry your drink with you without having to worry about it spilling over. As for the store itself, nothing but good things to say about it. I have done online orders and picked up items and they were ready within the hour to pick up at customer service. Whenever I need to return something they are super accommodating about it. Very easy return process if you have a receipt. I feel like lately Target has been upping its game. They are constantly doing collabs with big fashion designers and up and coming ones for the women's clothes. JoyLab which is the activewear brand has been coming out with some nice pieces for yoga with really cute, bold, and unique patterns like sports bras and yoga leggings. They also recently did a collab with Bauble Bar in the jewelers section. The accessories look so fun, flirty, and bright/bold that my eye was instantly drawn to them. The store itself is so well organized. It has everything I could possibly need, not to mention groceries. Plus the wine selection ain't that bad either! I particularly love the Home Accessories/Decor they offer. I have gotten many a gift for family and friends from this section because the things you find there are so unique. Joanna Gaines and her husband outdid themselves with their new home collection called Magnolia. I hope Target keeps doing things like this. I feel like I can decorate my entire place with things from Target (and it's so reasonably priced). My favorite spot of all though is the Dollar Section right in the front. What can I say about Target? It is always clean, I never find rubbish on the floors, I never find merchandise blocking the way. I have never picked up anything that was previously returned, or the wrong item inside the wrong box. And I have never picked up anything stale or old. Target also has lots of merchandise at great prices, great brands, even tablets and readers. They also have good pizza, hot dogs, and my favorite Icees. The lines are decent and they move along. Returns are also quickly handled. I think that overall the merchandising is better at Target than at other department stores. I can quickly find what I need or a replacement for the original item. People always leave Target with something in their hands. Target associates are helpful too. I have never been dismissed or had an associate not help me. Some associates will even check back on you if you tell them you can't make up your mind or that you need time. Target is the best, it saves me money, time, and hassles. I love Target. read more

Target is by far my number 1 retail crush. I've been Target obsessed for a long time, but finally was prompted to review after the BEST haul from the little dollar bin section at the entrance: flamingo themed entertaining items. Seriously, their seasonal game is on point! As someone who has worked in retail for a while, I have always been mesmerized by the Target spell. You can go in expecting to buy one thing, but leave with a cart full of things you suddenly realize you *need* to have. Despite the overspending caused by the perfectly merchandised displays and selection I still love target. Specifically I love this target because of a few things. Parking is painless. Even when it's busy and you have to park far, it is still relatively easy. Although this spot gets really packed on the weekend I feel as though they always have a good amount of staff and help for pesky hold ups in the self checkout line. The selection is outstanding, too! They recently redid the layout of home items and there is never a time I come in here and don't ohhhh and ahhh over some new threshold item. This location also has a pretty large selection of organic/natural beauty products which is nice. There's a grocery section which boasts the best assortment and pricing on my favorite beverage besides wine- la croix! They're always on sale or have a coupon in the cartwheel app. Ah-may-zing! When this target first opened my mom and I (like many others I'm sure) would call it Tarjaaaaaay to class it up a bit. Target didn't have the best selections back in the day. But man, target has grown up and it is bringing it! From their awesome and affordable clothing/accessory collabs (helllooooo bauble bar @ target), to their seasonally inspired dollar bin at the entry I love every inch of this store! And it goes without saying upon each visit you'll discover the one thing you didn't need but can't live without that always makes its way into your cart on a target run. Everything in my previous review still stands..But this Target location has now added self-service check outs! This is awesome!! I normally always use the self-serve checkouts at Home Depot, and if I see them still installed at the occasional Winn-Dixie or CVS and I only have a few items to purchase, I normally prefer using them at those stores as well. This has made me appreciate this store even more! Nothing worse than standing behind a line 3 or 4 people deep when one only has a few items to purchase, and for some reason Target never seems to have enough checkout lines open for the amount of customers trying to buy stuff. It was well stocked and nicely organized. Not sure if it was the time of day (mid morning) but it wasn't nearly as hectic as the Target closer to home. I bought a bicycle here about a year and a half ago and the experience was good. The gentleman that helped me then happened to know a lot of bikes. That was nice, even though I just wanted a simple cruiser and nothing too complicated. read more

I do drive-up at this location probably about once a week. This store has so much more inventory than the one on Flagler, so I don't mind driving the extra distance. Drive-Up has been a savior these last few months. I was using it before COVID/quarantine, but they upped the convenience factor ante by adding more designated parking spots. One time, it started pouring rain just as I was arriving and I was wondering if they were going to send an employee out in the torrential downpour (I felt terrible!) and instead, the guy stood underneath the awning outside the store, and flashed a light at me so I knew I should drive over to the front and get it from him there. It was a seamless handoff and everyone stayed nice and dry. Last week, an item I ordered was leaking in the bag (and spilled onto me in my car) and the employee took it back immediately and went back into the store to get a new one. Although I do miss Target runs, pleasantly wandering throughout the store and picking up all kinds of things I don't actually need, drive-up allows me to still splurge a little and have something to look forward to...and with the app, there are usually discounts and coupons that you can apply to items. If you haven't tried drive-up, I highly recommend it, especially at this location! read more

Target corporate should be embarrassed by this store representing its' brand. The products & prices are great but that's pretty much where the pleasurable shopping experience ends. The parking lot is a train wreck because people don't know how to drive or put away shopping carts where they belong. Target employees just standing around in the aisles should be outside bringing in carts if they don't have anything to do. Target team members are MIA and no one is around to help you. This is not my first time at the location. I actually like the options they have here. This location is right off the 826 and Bird Road. The store was very clean and organized. The only thing I noticed that most of Targets employees at this location do not speak English. I had a question and I went to asked a worker and she said that she doesn't speak English. They should hire people who are at least bi-lingual so they can be helpful to both languages. read more

This particular Target is spacious with ample parking and lots of merchandise, albeit some of it is difficult to find. They also have a Pizza Hut Express and a Starbucks Café inside. I probably would've given this place four stars except that I went to the Starbucks Café and I was flabbergasted that they only had one employee for a line of nearly ten people. I felt so bad for the employee that I just ended up leaving. Seriously, not sure why this was the case, but the poor girl needed help. I do hope that this gets fixed soon. read more

There's less variety at this store but the vicinity of this location to the palmetto makes it an easy destination to reach. I was looking for a rolling cart today and made my way to the sporting goods section in hopes of finding a compact tote on wheels. Jorge was the employee that helped me today and to be honest we both looked high and dry for something that unfortunately wasn't in stock. I really appreciated him searching all the possible sections where we could find such a thing but the options were all either too suitcaseish, didn't have wheels, or was the big bulky ones I was trying to avoid. The good thing is there's plenty of space in the aisles to navigate through and although it might be a tad smaller than what you're used to-it still packs a punch. There's also a target and a Best Buy in the same shopping plaza so no purchase goes undone. read more

I got help by this handsome sexy guy jose in the grocery aisle (my jaw dropped on how fine he is ). I was a bit nervous to ask him a question but he came up to me like a gentlemen and asked me if i needed help with my list i was holding. Let's be honest, who doesn't love target?! I love that this target is so close to me. It's been here for a long time but they've done a lot of updates. The food section looks amazing. It gets pretty full sometimes and there's never enough cash registers open, but the express check out is the bomb.com. There were a lot of boxes everywhere. I guess they were moving along the school supply stuff for a new display. Overall love this place! read more
