First, let's just get this out the way: their website (as of late 2013) is awful. It's like the internet circa 1997. Bad. But their retail location is large, pretty, with parking at both sides of their building (it's on a corner). The interior cordons off the wallpaper book "library" to the back where staff help consult shoppers like me looking for inspiration. But each time I've been there, it usually takes *several* minutes for someone to help and the staff have been more helpful than not, however English language skills are a lacking for some staff. This was less an attitude problem than a language thing. Anyway, I'm giving this a three star rating which might seem harsh, but that's exactly what I think makes sense: One Of A Kind stocks lots of wallpaper and interior textiles, with books available for research and product available for order, but it's not above-and-beyond.

For this level of investment, I expected exceptional craftsmanship and durability--not furniture that deteriorates this quickly. If you're planning to invest in high-end furniture, save your money and consider established Italian brands instead. In my experience, they deliver the quality, craftsmanship, and longevity that luxury furniture should offer. The shop is divided into different rooms featuring well-selected items, pants, dresses, shirts, décor, and even Christmas ornaments. There's also a men's section with dress shirts and suits, plus a secluded room with designer clothing that's slightly pricier but definitely worth checking out. What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and welcoming the whole place feels. The staff is wonderful, and I was delighted to learn that it's a nonprofit organization run by formerly incarcerated individuals, helping support their reintegration into society. On top of that, shopping here promotes sustainable clothing demand and supply. I absolutely love this initiative and look forward to continuing to support them. They help women who have been previously imprisoned get back on their feet. They provide jobs, guidance for resumes and prep them for job interviews. You can donate your good at this boutique for a great cause! They have a big selection of clothing, home items, shoes, books, etc. I'm sure you can find treasures here at a good value! They have events all the time. I initially was going to attend an embroidery event but was cancelled due to the instructor having gotten sick. Come check them out and support a shop with a great cause!
