Always a great experience when I shop here. Super clean store, compared to before it was remodeled, this is beautiful. Remodeled some years ago but they still keep up with it! at the entrance they advertise a $3 breakfast, toast eggs and a cup of coffee, totally worth it! There are also always more than enough shopping carts. i enjoy using their small ones (not the children ones, which are super cute btw) but the ones that have a tiny basket. easier to maneuver and kind of limits my shopping to only what i need. the aisles are huge and usually always filled. now a days, everything is running out but this win dixie managed to keep their aisles filled for the most part. The employees are usually nice and extremely helpful. if you ask them where something is they actually walk you to the area and try to help you out with their different options. I totally miss their family meal deals. they used to have, at the last freezer by the ice cream, these deals where if you just buy (for example) one lasagna, you get garlic bread, soda, ice cream and another side dish for free! it was awesome and we would always go and buy those deals. unfortunately they we haven't seen them in forever but there are always BOGO deals to take advantage of. Their $1 section is also good, i always check that out before checking out the entire store. their cashiers can be a little faster, it's a hit and a miss with those. but they have plenty of self checkout. The scale at the exit is broken, has been for a few months now. but that's alright, publix down the street should have one. I'm sure the people who weigh their bags for the airport have been over using it, lol! So, times are tough and me and my friend actually opted for a supermarket lunch date. Lol! I know that Winn Dixie on bird road and 112 has a small cafe so we went there. First stop: deli for made to order sandwiches. I have to admit, the prices were unreal in 2026. A 12 incher just 6.99. A 6 incher 4.99. Wow. Sure beats Publix sub prices. So we got an Italian 12 inch to split. Clerk was a little miffed that we actually made her do her job. Whatever. We strolled over to the cafe where we could pay for our sandwich and get a can of soda for 99 cents. It's actually laughable but the two staffers in the cafe were so mean and rude for no reason other than we wanted to pay for our food. There was no work involved. And actually they did nothing. I scanned my card and got my receipt. Seriously. The nastiness of not only the deli clerk ( who actually had to make a sandwich) to the two clerks in the cafe ( which had nothing to do) was so amazing to me that I had to post this. There is NO excuse for the rude and lack of human decent behavior. This store needs to implement some sort of customer service training or get rid of these horrible employees. read more

Disappointed with the customer service experience in Winn Dixie bird road and 112th I came in to buy Halloween candy and saw a booth up front advertising "Buy one, get the second one 50% off." I picked out the bags I wanted, but when I got to the register, they rang up at full price. I asked for help, and the first manager, Lucy, was dismissive and unhelpful. Then Humberto, another manager, came over. I explained that I was going by what the sign said, and he told me customers move things around. I let him know I work in retail and understand how things can get misplaced--but instead of resolving the issue, he kept blaming customers. I'm not usually one to complain, but if you're working in customer service, you should have the people skills to handle situations respectfully and professionally. We ordered several items and the most important items were not in the order. When I called to see what happened, the manager was extremely rude and raised his voice with my wife and me and wouldn't give me any of his info. when we called back, the little bit** wouldn't answer the phone. We will not be ordering any more from Winn Dixie as they showed their true competency in the garbage people they hire. the punk who needs to be fired should not have a position of authority and should not be helping people in a support capacity. I wouldn't let this guy clean my toilets. We will be bringing this to the GM and corporate. I didn't really get to walk around much since I only ran in for a birthday cake. However, the place is huge! The aisles are wide and everything is well stocked. The store looked super clean and well organized. I'm about to date myself, but I was reminded that many moons ago, this used to be an Xtra Superfood. Hence the size. Like I said, I went in for a cake. They have sooo many options to grab and go. We chose a tres leche cake and it was only about $11. I did ask them to write Happy Birthday on the cake. I kind of expect for someone that works in the bakery to at least know how to write on a cake. Nope, sloppy mess. My 2 year probably could do a better job. And the spelling! See photo. At the end of the day, the cake was for a 2 year old that could not care less about the sloppy writing or the spelling. She was more interested in blowing out her candle 20x. The girl at checkout was surprisingly friendly. In Miami, sadly, that is rare. I will likely return to see what else they have to offer. read more

When I went to check in, I could not believe no one had added this Winn Dixie location! Located on 40 st and 112 ave is right before the Turnpike entrance. Unlike many, I am a fan of Winn Dixies because the prices are always good. They always seem to have great specials and cheaper prices on certain items compared to other stores. Plus it helps that they have a Rewards card that helps you get discounted gasoline at Shell Gas Stations. This location in particular looks like it's getting remodeled on the inside. Some isles were empty and looked like they were prepping to get moved around. Regardless of the remodeling, everything was well stocked and clean. Bathroom trip is always a must and surprisingly were clean as well. Staff had great customer service and were friendly. Insider tip: There is a clothing store inside the Winn Dixie that sells mostly womens clothes. First time I see this in any location. read more

I'm pretty pleased with this Winn Dixie. Ever since the renovations, it's always been nice to do groceries here. It's clean, organized, and pretty quiet. Prices are pretty good too - lots of BOGO deals. I'm absolutely stunned by the yogurt sections - it's extremely organized in a way a never seen before (check out my picture). Employees are sometimes slow and lack attentiveness, so that could use improvement. Otherwise, this location is pretty great. read more

Went in to store 0254 and the wife was at Customer service counter to get a rewards card when I witnessed this man eating out of the food bar and throwing food back in it after he had eaten on it. I asked the lady at the service counter to get the manager and when I told him what I saw, he did not go to investigate, but rather jumped on another register to help the lady behind the counter get caught up. In the mean time I saw 2 couples go up to the food bar, look in, and walk away. Not thinking the health department would appreciate this, and frankly neither do I. Sunday 1/12/5 line was 20 minutes. Most horrible food shopping experience. .55 coupon & bagger had to go back on all bags & register to verify my item. Really? So people in line were complaining furious cause Alexander couldn't over ride a .55 cent discount. Paid w/a check & the manager is no where to b found. When manager came with his magical key he could not even apologize. I am NEVER going back. This is why Public is where shopping is a pleasure even if price & quality is a little higher. read more

I like this Winn Dixie but I just had the worst service at the deli...I asked for certain cold cuts and the lady at the counter gave me whatever she thought I wanted. I understand that some of the items names are similar but to not even try to make an effort to give the customer what they want is unacceptable. Do not get food from the hot food bar! Not only do you get treated like crap by the little old lady's working there for asking simple questions on top of it the food is also crap. This isn't the first time at this location or the only employee there that has been rude for example asking them what size containers do they have is an annoyance to them, she pointed at the stacked up containers and turned her back expecting me to know. Rude workers, and no effort put into the food. You are better off driving half a mile down to Publix, which if the food sucks there you're at least guaranteed a much better experience. read more

Publix is always better than Winn-Dixie. The ONLY exception to that statement is THIS, one-of-a-kind Winn-Dixie that is a complete anomaly amongst Winn-Dixies. It's as if corporate decided to create a concept store that spared no expense and was secretly overseen by the CEO of Whole Foods! First off, it does NOT smell like a Winn-Dixie. Yes, they all have a unique (not exactly pleasant) odor that Publix and other stores like Fresh Market do not have. Also, IT IS HUGE!! The wide aisles are great and the monstrous size allows for a greater selection and variety of products. Even all the various departments are independently held to the highest standards (the Deli is amongst the best! A which I NEVER thought I'd say about a W-D). So... my million-dollar bit of advice to SouthEast Grocers (the parent company) is, WHY NOT STRIVE TO MAKE ALLLLLL YOUR STORES THIS AWESOME?! Until you do, you'll continue to be beat out by Publix and the rest, yes, even if they are a bit pricier. People like quality and are usually willing to pay more for it! ;) read more

Wait a second... is this grocery store supposed to be a Whole Foods or Winn-Dixie! Because I just stepped in here for the first time after remodeling, and I have to admit that it now looks like a Whole Foods with more affordable prices. There are several food stands for barbecue and other ready-to-eat items. The bakery is open and displays a wide range of baked goods. There is also a candy section with dispensers for multi-colored M & Ms and jelly beans. And right now, the aisles are really wide, so there is no heavy traffic. This grocery store is seriously beautiful now. Really organized! If all Winn Dixies start to look like this, i am going to have to say that they might be my #1 place to shop for groceries, instead of Publix. 5 stars all the way!!!! Let's just hope that this grocery starts getting more traffic becuase it looked a bit empty when I stepped inside. read more

INHUMANE. Sending senior ladies and gentlemen to pick up and push carts from the parking lot is an image that speaks thousands of words. It is obviously a kind of job that should be done by someone jounger. I've seen these people pushing large numbers of shopping carts under the rain, on hot days... And it's pretty much obvious that the task requires physical efforts that should be assigned according to age and conditions. I've been trying to give this place a chance, as it's blocks aways from my house. However, I think I've reached my breaking point. The produce here is cheaper than Publix (which is one of the main reasons I choose WD over Publix) but it always seems to go bad within a day or two of purchasing. There have been times where I've gotten home and realized that the veggies I've bought are already spoiled. Could it be that Winn Dixie gets away with lower prices bc the produce is nearly spoiled? This place is huge. I was really surprised when it opened to the public by how different it is than the Winn Dixies I've frequented in the past. The aisles are easy to maneuver and everything is labeled correctly. They also have a great deli with good food if you don't want to have fast food everyday for lunch or dinner, they always have different things available on the menu. The only thing that I find a little off about this place is that they have a really small variety of organic produce. You would think with how large and progressive the store looks, they would have way more organic produce but it's a small selection. If you live nearby, it's a great place to shop for groceries and I prefer Winn Dixie because they usually give me the best deal on the same stuff they offer at more expensive supermarkets. Just supermarket has truly turned it around in the last year. It is well lighted clean customers everywhere and the staff is very helpful.

I am a huge fan of grocery chains upping their game while maintaining value. This Winn Dixie location has done that in spades! The layout is very intuitive and items are logically merchandised which is something people rarely notice. The only layout draw- back is it leads you to buy your refrigerated foods before your dry, but if you realize it you can rearrange your shopping to keep cold foods cold. Parking is ample and traffic inside of the lot is more than reasonable. The areas that really impressed me were the produce, prepared foods, and bakery. The one star lost is for the on sale pork sirloins that were a little off when I opened them. As for price, not only are they already price competitive with all other local markets, but with the card we saved almost 15% off of our total check. read more

Just want to say, just wow. I have been to this location before the re-modelling was done and it sure is a big improvement! Everything is so much easier and cleaner to your needs. The looks really remind me of a fresh Publix with those lights pointing at the products. I am very impressed by the size it was able to show. I only bought a couple of things here and they made it even more convenient accepting Apple Pay and NFC payments (like Google Wallet and Softcard) which is one of the reasons I go to selected stores. The only thing that lets me down is the parking sometimes and the local trash you would sometimes see, but over all it's a impressive grocery chain to visit since its 24 hours! This gives me respect back to this location, I will definitely come here for my needs of groceries!
