Located in the Miracle Marketplace, Marshalls - Coral Gables competes with many other off-price fashion retailers located in the same building. It was founded in 1956 as the first of the 'Brand Names for Less' stores, and was later acquired by its direct competitor 'TJ Maxx' in 1995. We see a lot more Marshalls than we see TJ Maxx in our travels, though we did see a TK Maxx in the UK recently. This store is very large, located in one very square area on the 3rd floor of the mall. It had a large selection of name brand fashions, with clearly marked clearance sections that were filled (not sparse at all, even though there were quire a few people shopping...indicating the staff are doing a good job of restocking). My wife ended up getting two easy to pack name brand t-shirts as gifts. The queue to checkout was very long, but it kept moving and used that familiar recorded voice to tell you which register was open once you got to the front. read more

Ok so we all know life is expensive lately, but your style and home accessories do not have to be. Enter this Marshalls on Coral Way in that shopping center by the Win Dixie. I'm a frequent shopper at the Nordstrom Rack here but have never ventured into this Marshalls. I'm not sure what took me so long but wow this particular Marshalls is LIT! They have so many options, the registers are organized, and you can walk out being fabulous for half the price of expensive life outside discounted stores. For the fashionable girlies I love that they have house of Harlow items in stock regularly and there is a nice home section as well. Catch me back, I'm hooked now! read more

Lines are extremely long and there is never more than 2 cashiers. They also loveee to chit chat with customers while the line gets longer and longer. Almost as if they are doing it on purpose to avoid working. read more

It isn't every day that I step inside a Marshalls, but I did just that yesterday in hopes of familiarizing myself with the store given a whole slew of birthdays and holidays coming up. I must say I was heavily surprised to find out they have gift cards, but that's a win for me. This location in itself was pretty clean and the associates were nice enough. I was also of the mindset of general perusing and I found that there are a few things that caught my attention. A few years ago, an ex-coworker mentioned getting The Body Shop products for cheap prices at this location, but I found that to be nonexistent. Turns out I go again now and there they are, including some lesser known scents and some of the popular ones. Shame they didn't have a lot of tea tree products, but still, I am just mind blown that a bottle of shower gel that normally is $10+ is not even $5 at this place. Oh, and that's without getting me started on the philosophy brand. Now clothes and shoes are a hit or miss, but the beauty products and the overall trinkets make good gifts. Hmm, and the purses. Yes, the purses. I found some great deals, but it's one of those of either you get lucky or not. If I have time again soon, I will definitely go hunting, but in general, it isn't my preference. read more

I have not been going shopping since COVID began. I have been two times to Marshalls (once in July and another one last week( and am so gladly surprised to find that they are the best store in Covid customer safety. They have a controller at the door counting and making sure the number of clients inside is according to what they had stated. They clean every cashier before, they have kept the spaces wide, and the cashiers are separated with plexiglass so you don´t feel tight nor close to other cashiers. I am grateful for their considerations and will continue to shop gladly there. I wish other stores would have the same considerations. read more

While this Marshalls, like most Marshalls or Ross stores can be hit or miss, I've gotta give this place 4 stars, if for no other reason than for the deals I've found here. I've purchased everything from home decor to clothing to bed sheets and candles here, and everything is always far below retail. Want proof? On my most recent visit, I picked up a few Yankee Candles here, and I also bought a spatula and a few other cooking utensils. After leaving here I walked next door to Bed, Bath and Beyond. The same spatula from the same name brand was $4 more expensive there vs. the one I bought at Marshalls. I also checked out the Yankee Candles at B, B & B. They were advertising that all their Yankee Candles were 25% off, and I still saved another 50% by buying the same candle at Marshalls. I also appreciate that this place is a bit more clean, organized and, well, civilized than most Ross stores. The checkout line can appear to be quite long, but one must keep in mind that it's 1 line that is queued up for several registers, so it normally moves quickly. read more

This is the Marshall's in the newly renovated Miracle Marketplace in Coral Gables, it is definitely a much needed addition to shopping in Coral Gables. The store is so new and shiny its wonderful. It was late on a Saturday when we went so it was not crowded - that was nice. The experience is based on that, so I cannot vouch for how pleasant the experience might be when its packed. I don't love the layout, its a bit crowded and confusing but its Marshall's what do you expect. As always prices are great! I got an amazing pair of Carlos Santana heels for half price! His shoes are so beautiful I will deal with the fact that they are not the most comfy shoes around! C'est la vie!! They also had some amazing Calvin Klein dresses for $40 - and not the cheap offpricer production either. These were the nicely made, beautifully constructed ones. Although the parking garage is challenging to the max, try this one out. read more

One of the reasons I go to "Shoppes at Midtown" is Marshall's. I like this store even the location is not the best for me. The layout is not great (2 levels) and the aisles are too small. Sometimes it feels like they have too much merchandise hanging and it's difficult to check everything. On the positive side is the choice you have. So many handbags and cute tops. A nice selection of summer dresses and shoes. Another store great for bargains. The ladies for the changing rooms are not very helpful nor friendly but it's not like you are walking into a designer's stores so I don't care. The teenage section looks great. I like to try a pair of jeans and a few tops from there. I always find something I like, usually it's a bikini or handbag and regular clothes. The ground level is a mess and I never spend time to check it out. It's men's, luggage and kitchen,, not really what I shop for. Still a shop to go to if you have time to look for something cheap. read more

Lunch time: 1 hr. Objective: Find something to wear for Yuletide Yelp Party! Mission Accomplished! I dashed over to Marshall's today in search of something nice to wear for the evening. I drove into the garage, parked and speed walked my happy behind into a pretty crowded store. I roamed the neatly kept isles and ran into an empty fitting room with about 7 items to try on. Success! I found what I was looking for and even a bonus for another day ! : ) The line was scary long but moved by rather quickly because they keep the cashiers pretty well stocked around here. Does the garage suck at times, yes. Does this place get crazy, insane packed, yes. Do they handle it well, I think so. They certainly bailed me out of a bind. read more

It's hit or miss here. Sometimes there's just a bunch of stuff jumping at you and other times it's like a battle to find something mediocre. I mean, it's better than Ross and the parking garage has gotten less scary lately ever since they detoured the entrance flow. Worst case scenario, there's a Nordstrom Rack in the same center so if you can't find what you're looking for there's other options to check out as well. Sometimes, you just gotta dig real deep and something will turn out. Never overlook the sales section, I tend to find some winners scattered in there sometimes. I find some great trinkets in the home section and it's never a bad idea to buy new underwear. The jeans can be hard to source as it's overcome with the stretchy legging look but every so often a nice find will be awaiting you. That's the magic of Marshall's! It can either totally serve it's purpose or leave you hanging. read more

I came here last Saturday after work expecting to be wowed and instead I was whoa-ed. The first whoa came with the parking garage. I don't even know how to explain that thing, but let's just leave it at that it's a doosie..... moving on.... Being that this Marshall's store is so new, I expected it to look clean, neat, and well organized. My expectations were definitely set too high though. I should have read these reviews before, because just as they mention, the layout was awful, the racks were crowded, and the clothes selection just wasn't all that. I love this Marshalls. Every time I go to this Marshalls I never leave empty-handed. I went in on Saturday afternoon and as usual I was not disappointed when I left. For the most part, the store was picked up and organized. Everything was in its place, including the shoes, clothes and home goods and I was able to leave with some goodies. I rarely have to wait for a cashier as they have plenty available based on the length of the line (at least the times I have gone) and I am always greeted with a smile. You can't compare the prices; I was able to pick up a shirt, sweater and Steve Madden shoes for under $70.00. There is always parking available; however, the garage is a little cramped and narrow. Miracle Center also has a DSW, Nordstrom Rack, PetSmart, Hooters and Bally's. Overall, I recommend this location, especially the Marshalls. read more

Every time I come to the Midtown Mall I always go inside this Marshall's and take a peak. The Men's department is actually fairly small but they have a ton of clothes on those racks. I usually have to dig around before I find a handsome Calvin Kline or Perry Ellis shirt. Most of the time you might be disappointed because Men's clothes that get sent to Marshall's are usually Large, XL or XXL so to get fitting clothes means you got to work for it. But once you find something you like and your size, it feels great. This store has been an enabler to my Puma clothing and shoe addiction so I come here every so often to see what the new merchandise looks like. Good quality workout clothes can also be found here and I recommend anyone trying to find Nike, Adidas brand clothes to come here because the prices are great. read more

I've noticed that over the last year or so this Marshall's has kind of gone downhill. It used to be a lot tidier and there was a better selection of stuff, especially in the kitchen goods area. I have made a few great finds here, but lately it's so hit or miss. At least the employees here are generally friendly, the Jamaican(?) manager who works the register often is really, really pleasant to deal with. Refreshing in Miami. All in all, I will definitely pop in here on occasion, but these days I'm not expecting to find anything great. read more

This Marshall's is nothing like the Marshall's back in Illinois. The service is s-l-o-w, employees are serious about their breaks no matter how many people are in line and carts are rare and have locking wheels. Kind of fun to tip, actually! The selection is so-so and well-dressed ladies love to come here and return expensive Coach and Dooney and Bourke crap. Classy! I found a sangria dispenser, some hubby t-shirts and a pair of shorts for the fall. I actually prefer Ross in Key West over this Marshall's, but the management was cool. This store was clean with alot of bargains. The older lady in charge of the dressing room was my only issue. She kept mumbling and very blatently seemed upset that I had 20 items to try on. I wanted to tell her I can try on the whole store if I wanted! What does it matter to her? Im not rude...I was on a weekend trip to Miami to shop and enjoy the weather, not to annoy her....."Some people" Yes I will follow rules and only take in 8 with me at a time, and yes I hang everything back on the hangers, so why the huffing and puffing and the attitude?...Is this not your job? This place is a nightmare. I've only been to Marshalls a handful of times, but decided to stop in last time I was near Coral Way. First of all, this place is a disaster. Nothing is organized, I found may items that were clearly old and worn with re-attached tags, and the line was 25-30 people long. It's overwhelming, dirty, and I will not be back. read more

Occasionally I find something here, but I find the store to be a bit of a mess and the clientele to be less than stellar. I'm a fan of Marshalls; discounted name brands - often large sizes for us plus size boys and girls, and usually some pretty good comestibles in the home section. This one doesn't disappoint - rather a bit of a hidden gem on a side aways mall snug in MIracle Mile a few blocks east of the downtown Gables action there aren't the crowds or messiness of the downtown store - and actually pleasant customer service oriented employees. Their clothing selection's really not that big. The evening dress section and the junior's section are small compared to the Pinecrest location, and usually, they either have huge sizes or tiny sizes. I have given up on shopping here. I have had better luck at the Marshall's downtown, it's much more modern-looking in the way everything is displayed and much more organized. read more

Remodeling the store is almost finished and there are many improvements to the previous shopping experience. Thank you. HOWEVER : Is it "normal" procedure for a cashier to QUESTION a customer's assertion on a personal item i.e. a used small cushion inside the shopping cart BEING PERSONAL ? Today-9/21/2015 Ref #:155129 This cashier also indulged in picking up one of my items, looking at it, reading what it was for (apparently to satisfy her curiosity) but never acknowledging me. She was not really rude but her demeanor was cold, arrogant and unapologetic . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Realize that wild customers with out of control kids is not your fault. However,merchandise all over the floor & half-open food packages is disgusting. Remodeling the store means nothing to customers if while on line to pay we're squeezed through a tunnel-like passage and the cashier stations are blocked by empty carts no one bothers to remove and we have to squeeze by overweight customers with a bunch of kids. Worst customer service I've ever seen. I walked into this place completely packed with customers at 6:45. At 7 o'clock on the dot they let us know the store was now closed and they turned off all of the lights! I was in shock. They then had employees waking around telling everyone that they need to get to the register now or out because the register would close and we could not buy anything we already had in our carts. I have never seen a store, let alone a huge chain store, be so aggressive when closing. I had friends waiting for me while I was paying and several employees went up to them telling them they needed to exit the store right now while what looked to be the manager stood at the door scolding another employee.
