I've been visiting Nordstrom Rack since our first opened. There are some good deals at this particular location but quite honestly there are also certain items that i believe are not sold at Nordstrom and that they bring in as fillers. Many times I'll see some clothing that I am certain was never in their main store due to the quality and brand. In this store they have a small home section, and also a small personal item section. What I find that they shine in is their designer shoe department and their designer purses. I have found some good deals on both of these sections. read more

I don't know what's happened to Nordstrom but Nordstrom Rack is a piece of crap. I have always made returns at Nordstrom Rack but today Rafa would not accept my Chanel makeup because it's "designer" makeup that was $65. Now I have to drive to the actual Nordstrom. The return policies change faster than you switch your toilet paper roll. Very disappointing that Nordstrom makes customers go through hoops to make a simple return. I would like to start by saying that I have always known The Nordstrom Rack to be a reputable source of quality; and it is today that I've been mistaken in having this opinion. The attached pictures detail the quality of Nordstrom Rack's merchandise after just one day of purchase. I am sure this hiccup of mistakenly selling sub-par products to its valued customers could happen to any establishment--and the services provided by the establishment itself should aim to amend and rectify any mistakes that have been made. However, upon attempting to return the sneakers I had purchased the week before, I was met by the manager (Jessica) who claimed that it is store policy to not accept items which have been worn already, and facelessly told me it is up to the manager to make the decision. I was mistaken in relying on the manager to make things right. Quite ironically, she delegated the so-called managerial task of denying my request to a co-worker of less authority, and so I left with a bad taste in my mouth. To whoever may be reading this, I applaud your patience in reading this review, and I invite you to see the pictures of what was sold to me. And if your name is Jessica, then I hope your decision to deny me a very fair return was worth it, as I leave this brand of my disapproval on your name, as well as what you manage. read more

I found a cute ring that was perfect for immediate wear and has not sat idle since 2. Products - no luck on this day 3. Petites - fail... no petite racks and I'm not patient enough to scour the racks 4. Didn't make it this far :-( This store was busy but parking was not as bad as it could have been on a Saturday. This is a nice store that has tons of brand names. My favorite area is the purse area. There was tons of Kate spade, furla, Vince camuto.... the clothing area felt so cramped and the shoe area was so large that I felt overwhelmed to go through it. I was having difficulty finding a nice button up shirt and when I asked an employee she immediately smiled and greeted me nicely. She helped me find a nice button up shirt with dress pants to go with it. Thankfully affordable ones too. I went to go try them on and they were awesome, we ended up running into each other again and she asked me if it fit and looked how I was expecting. Great customer service, glad she remembered me since some employees don't even remember who they just helped. I asked her for her name and what a coincidence I have a sister named Nicole, so we got along well. Will definitely continue coming back to the rack with welcoming employees like Nicole. read more

This location is definitely my favorite Nordstrom rack in the area. Are used to go to the one in Midtown when I lived in that neighborhood. Now this is my go to rack. And honestly I feel like I've upgraded. Love that it is located in town and country with so many other stores plus dining nearby. This store is always pretty clean when I come with a few exceptions on the weekend during those prime times. But hey, Having tons of people come in and out, it's like expecting your living room to stay clean with 10 toddlers running around. Great selection of products. I always find something designer that I love and is fortunately within my budget. Free parking is always a plus. And all of the staff I've been countered at this Nordstrom rack is super kind. Even when I am One of the last people to check out right at 9:30 on the dot when they are closing. read more

If you're a shopaholic like me, then you'll like this place. I love going to the regular Nordstrom, but this one has the best deals. I bought a pair of Vera Wang heels for $80, which were originally around $400! Today, I bought a pair of Chinese Laundry, which were originally $120 and I got them for $54. You honestly can't beat those deals. Sometimes, you really have to look. If you go on a random day, you are bound to find something. Things are sometimes all over the place and it can be quite messy. This place is a major time warp. I go inside, six hours pass at light speed, and I come out looking like Tim Curry in drag riding on the back of Meatloaf's motorcycle. Okay, not really. That was just a Rocky Horror Picture Show reference, which I'm sure makes me look super street now. Anyway, Nordstrom Rack is like one of my favorite stores ever because a) I like good quality clothing and accessories 2) I'm cheap 3) I get a kick out of using a shopping cart in a department store. Clothing-wise you've got to dig a bit to find something that you couldn't just find at Marshall's, because it is an outlet, but you do find some really decent stuff amongst a whole lot of ugliness. Like I found a cute tank, nothing out of the ordinary, but nice and basic and because it was on a sales rack, only cost me $4. Shoes, however, they present to you on a platter. There's not much digging to be had, which is dangerous because you want to try on almost every shoe in your size. Lots of really good finds everywhere by well known designers highly discounted. They also have a lot of cute bags, but they're waaaay too expensive for me to buy without thinking "the price of this bag could buy me a ticket to the Bahamas", so I always just try a few on, dance in front of a mirror, fantasize about being fabulous enough to buy it, put them back on the rack, and weep a little in my sole. Shoes, shoes, shoes! And other stuff.... This place is pure evil and I love it. I usually come here for one thing and leave with too many. My absolute favorite section is shoes. I don't think I've ever come here without leaving with a pair of shoes. I'm a tiny size 5 or even 4.5; in other stores, it is very difficult to find anything in my size. Not here though! They have a wall and a half fully stocked with amazing shoes. I've gotten tons of trendy Steve Madden shoes, among other designers and brands, for awesome prices. Everyone always asks me where I get my shoes...Nordstrom Rack! They also have a great selection of clothes, bags, sunglasses, makeup, jewelry, etc. I got a really nice pair of Free People (expensive!) shorts for under $30, which was a shocker to me. I like the jewelry section too as it has cheap stuff; I got my faux pearl earrings for $6 here. I've been wearing them every single day for about 2 years and they still look brand new! Definitely a good deal. The lines can get long....really long. However when the line starts getting long, they do a really great job at making it move as quickly as possible. Extra associates will make their way through the line and make transactions with a handheld device. The service and prices at Nordstrom Rack are always great. read more

My absolute favorite store to shop at is Nordstrom so imagine how excited I was when I found out a Nordstrom rack was opening up next to my home. The deals are really great. The only bad part is for example some perfumes don't have any samples that you can smell from and they will not open a box for you. Additionally their return policy is not the same as it is at Nordstrom. You're not allowed to return a product even if it was gently used and you were not happy. You are basically stuck with it. I've also noticed that the stuff is not as friendly as it is at the main Nordstrom. It was explained to me my manager well ma'am this is Nordstrom rack. I guess in the end it's true what they see you get what you pay for. Now if you're looking for a bargain you should definitely go. Be prepared to do some hunting though. If you're going for the experience just stick with regular Nordstrom. read more

I absolutely LOVE Nordstrom (I've got TWO of their cards). But the Nordstrom Rack doesn't quite give me the warm & fuzzies in the same way that their higher-priced namesake does. I guess it's the fact that it feels like they're throwing their leftovers on a rack without any real organization or categorization. Or maybe it's the institutional grey paint on the walls... I mean, I love a bargain and frequently shop outlet stores, but having been to other competitors, I feel like this place really isn't trying. That said, there are a few good finds to be had if you can dig through for hours and continually try things on. But I feel like they could do so much better. I don't know. I guess I expect more from such a big name. I'm left wanting more but it will do as a stop on the way to another store in the same plaza. P.S. Nordstrom Rack is conveniently located in the town and country shopping plaza. It can sometimes be difficult to find parking on the weekends. The store is pretty much always neat and organized whenever i have a chance to stop by. Sometimes i find things and oher times i dont find anything at all. I like the coral way store more, if you havent passed by that store try going. I always find great things there. read more

I am very disappointed by the new Nordstrom Rack that just open in Kendall. I waited a long time for it but I expected more of what I actually found. Except for swimwear which I found a good selection all the rest looked very cheap, not in price but in quality. They told me not to go on Saturday because all the good stuff at that point is already gone, but I don't have time on week days. I guess I will stick to Loehmann's for now that used to be on Sunset but now is two doors away from Nordstrom. read more

Did some shopping here today. I gave this place 3 stars purely on selection of purses and jewelry, since it was a good one. Aside from purses and jewelry. This store is not all that. I walked two entire rows of adult/female shoes and found nothing i remotely liked, and what I I did semi-like, was very overpriced. I the kids section, clothes sucked. There were only 2-3 styles of bathing suits, if that. The kids shoes: there were a few cute selections, but again, very overpriced for brand. One can find same brands at marshals for $5-$10 less. No organization or order to shoes either. All sizes were all over the place. Clothes for women: I have been at this store several times, never buy anything for me. I don't feel that they have a good variety of items. Clothes doesn't even remind me of Nordstrom. Service: didn't see anyone available to help around the store--- not that I needed help, just mentioning that I didn't see anyone around. There was a line to pay, which is understandable, it was Saturday after all. Out of the entire store, I bough a (yes one) hair bow for my child. That's it. read more

I went to exchange two items that were given as gifts. I just needed a different size. I asked my relative to please give me the receipt, which they did. The attendant let me know she couldn't exchange or order a new size, and I had to do it myself online. Without asking me how I wanted the money she decided put the money back into the account, which was not mine. I clearly told her it was gift when I first got to the register. Now I'm left with no store credit and no monies to just get the two items in the correct size. Thank you Nordstrom Rack. The store was organized I did find what I was looking for. The cashier was friendly and helpful. She signed me up for their rewards program. She also placed my items in garment bags. I would visit it again as it was efficient and I just placed four stars instead of 5 because I didn't love the fitting room attendants service. I went to return a pair of jeans but needs up keeping them in the end HOWEVER, as I'm snooping around the racks 3 security guards go running full speed ahead out the door!
