I had been told by a few people to give this place of try because GO Run takes the time to conduct a few tests to determine which shoes are best for you. After completing the test runs (pun intended), Alex brought me out his 3 recommendations. He was extremely patient and gave his opinion on them but it was ultimately up to how I felt in them. You guessed it, Go Run Kendall appeared and I called them 30 minutes before their closing time to inquire if they had the shoes in stock. Doug, the store owner answered the phone and he not only had the shoe in my size and color preference available, but he was willing to wait for me passed the store closing hours - it was a miracle! I came here to buy a new pair of running shoes the other day and was greeted right away by the owner Doug Nicaragua. I run a lot and needed a good quality pair that would last a long time. This venue gets freaking 10 stars nevermind only 5! Why didn't I come to a running store like this years ago versus just buying a pair of running shoes on my own at the mall or something? After Doug greeted me and listened to what I needed he measured my feet, arches, and then had me run on a treadmill to see how I run. I was blown away at how thorough this place is to correct what needs to be corrected in your running and to get the perfect shoes along with insoles to correct your posture. I noticed I was running very wrong on my left foot which would have caused an injury down the road.....thank God I came here to find this out so I could correct it! I tried on several pairs of shoes for comfort and was given a certain set of insoles to correct everything. I ended up getting a new pair of Hoka's due to how comfortable they felt. The insoles made a huge difference in my posture with the way I walked and I love the fact that they can be worn inside my work boots and any shoe I wear for that matter. I checked in on yelp and got 10% off as well. Doug was so nice that he even gave me a complimentary runner's moisture wicking shirt! This place has anything and everything you need when it comes to running! Doug gave me phenomenal customer service and this is hands down the best experience I've ever had in my life trying to find/shop for what I needed! I highly recommend them! Do yourself a favor and go to the store to get a consultation even if you're not gonna buy any shoes. Been coming hear for a few years now. Years of knee, pain, and foot pain from standing at work have gone away from just finally getting the right pair of shoes for my specific foot. The store is very well stocked, and the staff is very helpful in helping you understand what different shoes do versus just selling you a shoe . I was used to going to the Nike store or a sporting store and getting an expensive shoe. but they were able to actually explain what my foot was doing and help me understand the type of shoe I needed. I have tried to find a better deal online or at store and I can't say I have found it yet. The prices are competitive and the fact you get a custom fitting and actual customer service is worth it. They also have a new computer treadmill that can help you understand your walking or running style and custom scan your foot for custom insoles. Amazing service by Charlie. Walked in after reading so many good reviews and I left extremely satisfied. Charlie quickly helped me out and measured my arches/feet and recommended two types of running shoes based on my needs. I was able to try them both at the store and run/walk around with them for a bit. Make sure you have socks with you in order to try them! I'm a newbie to running, so he even taught me the proper way to tie and untie the shoes. They're all about customer service here and you can tell they are extremely knowledgeable. This is a great store and the staff is amazing. Doug was right there ready to help me find some shoes. (btw - I got his card after my visit and had no idea he was the owner-so excited that he totally works his store). I had done a little research and was interested in the Hoka shoes and after checking my walk and my current shoes he quickly was able to make suggestions on size and style. I tried on two pair and liked them both but choose the second ones that were most comfortable.
