I typically refrain from posting negative reviews, understanding the impact they can have on a business. However, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at the Marshalls located at 255 E Flagler Street, as I felt mistreated, frustrated, and powerless. I purchased a seasonal candle for $7.99, and shortly after leaving the store, it slipped from my hand and fell to the floor. Since I was still very close by, I returned to the store hoping to either replace the broken candle or receive credit toward another. To my surprise, both the cashier and the floor manager refused to assist me in resolving the situation. They did not offer to replace the candle with a similar one or provide any form of credit. I was disappointed by their lack of professionalism and willingness to help, especially as a frequent customer who had spent nearly $100 in the store just the day before. I believe it's important for businesses to recognize that customer service matters, and I hope that this feedback encourages a more supportive approach in the future. This is located smack bam in the middle of downtown Miami. You enter via an elevator that glides you up to the store. Is it the best Marshalls? No. But it is what it is, and you can navigate what you need. I came as I was in the area and wanted to find a purse..and it delivered, I found one, and bought one. read more

I love this Marshall's and I frequent this location during my lunch. Everything is neat, easy to find and more like therapy to shop. It's frustrating when things are on the floor or not in its proper place but that's why I decided to come here more often. It isn't the biggest location but I prefer quality over quantity. OIt is easy to get there by the Inner Loop Metro Mover and I always make sure to get off on the 1st street stop. Their babies and children's section is one of the best in Miami. So many options that are consistently restocked for each age group and very well priced. You can find sets for 4.99, 6.99 and up depending on the brand. Please note, Monday's and Fridays are the worst day to go because this is the day that the cruises are docked at the Port of Miami and the lines are super long! read more

It is really nice to have a Marshalls walking distance from where you live and it's a bonus that this is a pretty organized one. This store is in downtown Miami in an indoor plaza and steps from Bayfront Park. There is no dedicated parking lot or garage for this store, although there are several paid garages surrounding it. The store, as I mentioned, is well organized and prices are low making it a popular tourist and crew destination from the port of Miami. Lines are sometime really long but this Marshalls store is well staffed and the line moves very quickly. I have come to depend on this store and shop a lot here for clothes often. I definitely recommend this store. You can't go wrong. And if you don't find what you came for, you can always try their competitor a block down. read more

I came in because someone had stole my suitcase, so I needed some swimwear unfortunately they didn't fit I went back to return them but I had lost my receipt, the women Penny went above and beyond to go back in the system and find my receipt so I could return my items. Penny you are so genuine and understandable Thank You! The world needs more people like YOU! I would also like to thank my cashier Milagro she was so welcoming both times she cashiered us very polite and patient! When you're in downtown miami, most of your errands must be done by foot. It's directly located in the southern end of Downtown and you can't miss the huge escalator bringing you up i the middle of a very retro urban shopping mall center. It's perfect for a quick pick up and the variety is constantly being restocked so finding a great item is pretty likely. I've gotten last minute shoes, bikinis, purses, pants, and even housewares for a bargain here. The parking is not provided but luckily there's plenty to do and see in the area so either meter parking or garage spots are well worth it here. When you're in a hurry, coming in here is quick and easy as long as it's not rush hour. I been shopping at this Marshall location for almost two years now and last night at home I decided too open account online, I was approved and it gave instructions to either use my 10% discount online or in-store, just bring in the paperwork as instructed. So since I work and live in the area I decided when I get off work today I will stop in and do a little shopping I finish my shopping everything was fine and ok until I made it up front too the line and that when everything turn in too terrible Unprofessional disaster the girl that wait on me was Latasha rung me up no smile just her poker face and never asked any information other than told me the price of how much I purchase and I showed her my invitation. Letter along with my drivers license and she stated that she needed to call the MOD I waited for the MOD for about 10 minutes while Latasha played phone tag with the other girl at register 3 , Latasha was at register 8 , Latasha is yelling across the room to tell the girl to call her on her line while I have to wait for MOD , So Latasha got tired of waiting there so she just walked over to Register 3 to talk to her friend. Finally the manager showed up her name lul jeta I looked at her name badge she didn't even say hello to me and she faced the latasha way and asked her what's going on She basically said he needs to provide the card he needs to have the card with him and then she looked at me and said do you have the card and then I said to her this is the first time you seen one of these, the information is on the piece of paper and she was very rude So after that conversation she basically turn her back me and took her sweet time to figure it out and then at the end told the associate to have me punched in my card number into the keypad and I found that to be little odd as well and she never said thank you or nothing she walked away ! This will be the worst customer service I have a received and I shop at Marshall's all the time that's the only reason why I decided to get the card and the manager was unprofessional very rude and it's rubbing off on all the other associates to act like her, . Even as I was walking out after no one said nothing to me I hear Latasha say that she doesn't even want to be there that's why I'm at this register to be away from everyone else ! Wow ! Hands down, best selection of goods at this location! Even better than the Midtown location, to my surprise. Lines get pretty long, like the majority of these stores, but they move fairly quick....so it's never annoying. I found some some nice boots and Nike free 5.0's here for crazy cheap price! Also, when I moved to my new apartment this store had a TON of nice things/appliances for my new place. This store has the best brands and is pretty damn clean for Downtown. I never use to like Marshall's, or find a cart full of great items till walking into this specific location! read more

This place is very organized! The hangers and the sizes labeled on the hangers coincide. It's not a long wait on line when it's time to check out. I even witnessed one of the employees cleaning and dusting the shelves! I enjoyed my shopping experience here. The next time I visit Miami, I will definitely come back! read more

Selection varies - ALWAYS long lines - never helpful staff and the place is usually a mess. ALWAYS look at garments carefully as i have grabbed many that had stains, small tears, etc. I am local and only go here when i have to - there is a Macy's a few blocks away with better selection as well as a Ross right on 1st and Biscayne that is much better read more

I agree with others that the store is actually pretty organized, which is atypical for Marshall's, and they do a good job with presentation of their new arrivals. They also have a good assortment of sunglasses and I am a sunglasses junkie, so it fit the bill. Unfortunately, the lines are awful. Be prepared to deal with a 30 minute wait or longer. I have ended up buying things without trying them on just to avoid having the line multiply. By the way, I have been here twice so far, and both times it was the same thing. I went during my lunch break with a co-worker who wanted to get some cute sweaters and we ended up being late to the office because we did not anticipate the 30 minute line. It wasn't a holiday either, it was mid-October, at about 1:30 pm on a weekday (not a Friday). The same thing happened that Saturday around 5 pm. Both times, the lines snaked all the way to the entrance sign, meaning there were a good 20+ people in front of us. The organization impressed me enough to still give it 3 stars though. read more

Long lines and subpar customer service (but that's most places in Miami). This location most likely won't have shoes/sandals in your size; only size 8 women's and up. Sometimes this place is packed in the morning with women looking for fab finds. The line is horrendous; 10 people deep and 2 cashiers working. Not to mention the cashiers don't even bother to greet you. They look as disgruntled as you feel waiting in the long line. If this place were not in such a convenient location, I would not come here as often as I do. On the plus side, you can find nice birthday/wedding cards on clearance for $1 sometimes, and they have decent home goods. read more

Hello I came to the store today and there is a shopping normally happy and everything but then when I was about to leave there was this lady who stopped me and told me that if I stole anything just accusing me without any proof I am very unhappy about this. I do wish that they would bring back the great selection of kitchen essentials that they used to have. The best Marshalls in Miami, MARK MY WORDS. Yeah i get it, you wouldn't expect that considering it is located in Downtown Miami, which to put it nicely, is gross and needs a desperate facelift. Honestly, walking around Downtown makes you feel as if you're back in 1991 in a decaying city, with half the storefronts shut down and the other half advertising $25 Ray Bans and Prada sunglasses. Anyways, considering Downtown is also kept alive by all the law firms there, there need to be some form of shopping. Ever since the downfall of the OG Macy's there, Marshalls was all I had to wander around in as I wondered where I went wrong in life. Great selection of women's clothes and accessories. I would buy something there at least daily. It's a great place to stop by if you need something quick and on the go, whether it be a blazer, jeans, tops, bath bombs, lotions, etc. Fantastic store that is well-kept with decently friendly staff. read more

Arguably my favorite Marshall's if only because I don't drive and it's conveniently located downtown so when ever the boss is out of town I can pretty much leisurely shop. The good points? Clothes for men and women in a variety of sizes (meaning I can find something for a relative or friend or even myself in the HEFTY PLUS section); great shoes for men and women (both leisure and dress) and a not too shabby home goods section of goodies for the kitchen - stuff you'd see for 3x the price at Williams Sonoma. The downside? ALWAYS crowded, long as hell checkout lines, a shabby/filthy presentation as they don't seem to have enough staff on hand to pick up after the oodles of whirlwind international shoppers (lots of folks from the cruise ships taking a break) who whip through the aisles and leave piles of detritus in their wake. Even more disturbing/bothersome is at times this li'l Marshalls in downtown is trying to compete with I don't know whom but they waste incredible amounts of space trying to pawn off what only looks like second hand furniture - their little end tables, chairs and tiny divans scream that they are made of breakable particle board and really don't add much luster to anyone's home - maybe a cardboard hut under an overpass at best. With so many downtown office workers and still no grocery store in sight (although 7-11's have been breeding like wildfire!) it's nice to have a store that caters to the home cook with lots of culinary goodies, pots, pans, tableware and the like - I really wish this store would concentrate on its strengths; the aforementioned homegoods, and retail clothing for men, women and children read more

Compared to other Marshall's, this one is very clean and organized but it could use some work. The lines during the midday are ridiculously long. If your going during your lunch time, prepare to spend the majority of your break on the line. A great time to go is around 2pm or later, but even then you are possibly in for a long line. Other than that, its a great location with cheap prices and great clothes. It may take a few trips to find what your looking for but the new shipments usually come in on Tuesday's. I love Marshall's. No where near as great with pricing as it used to be, but it is a staple. I can definitely find some cool and quirky clothing, just have to wade through all of the muck. I love that I get good prices. Just be careful not to pay more for the name brand (Ed Hardy, etc.) that you could get cheaper on a good weekend at Macy's. read more

Store is VERY POORLY MANAGED. Long lines and often only two or three tellers open. This is a busy store catering not only to downtown workers but also to tourists. The previous manager, Sherry, would open registers and handle one herself when the lines were long. The current managers appear to be in hiding. I see there are other complaints about the lines and lack of cashiers but it doesn't seem to register with the management. read more
