I am in fashion lust. Total fashion lust. This store looked into my soul and spit out fashion accordingly. "Honey... these coats look like your designs" my hubby said. He was totally right, if I had a store this would be exactly what I would be designing (I studied Fashion in another lifetime). I have a huge fetish for black, grey, for striking military coats, for scuffy leather boots and chunky jewelry. They had it all. No one seemed to mind me taking the amazing wool coats and turning the lining out and looking at construction, and man they are worth the $400 price tag. Well made solid construction. The place was packed with people but the edgy punk girl (man if I were 20 years younger I would look just like her) who was working there was incredibly helpful and was all smiles. They had the coolest music pumping through the store, and la pièce de résistance? My other obsession - antique sewing machines and industrial furniture everywhere. I want to live here please. I am not a shopper, in fact my attention span while shopping is less than 10 seconds, I grab stuff from the rack and decide immediately whether I buy or not and usually I end up walking around with it for a few minutes and putting it back. My mom struts around in her Tory Burch heels, her Gucci purse flung over her shoulder and asks, "are you going to change before we leave?" She's looking directly at the black and blue plaid Converse on my feet, and the now loose "skinny jeans" hugging my legs. There are certain sacrifices I'll make for my mom that I won't make for any other. So I kick off my Cons and throw on a pair of flats - that's as close as I'm getting to changing I think to myself. As I stand there, she gives me the nod of approval and off we go dinner - to South Beach where all things are beautiful. "There's a store I want to take you to, I think you'll really like it." In the early years, this used to mean stores that sold high-fashion goods, stores that sold mini-skirts, stilettos, and frilly things. I hated them, I hated their eye-rolling salesgirls, I hated their intensely lit dressing rooms. It just wasn't me. Then, when I was about 15, my mom went on a business trip to somewhere and came back with a little trinket for me. The box read Urban Outfitters. I'd never heard of it, but when I opened the box to find this dog chain looking necklace (it was cool then), I knew my mom had nailed it. "This is a new store and they're opening more around the country, it's just your speed." Fast forward years later and it's safe to say my mom caught on early. The same thing happened with Diesel. Around the same time as Urban, she said, "you're really going to like this store - it's for hungry models who like to dress like boys." She nailed it. I was no hungry model, but the dressing like a boy part - I liked that. So, I was hopeful last night. Could this new store be what Urban Outfitters and Diesel were for me years ago? As we walked in, installations of antique Singer sewing machines acted as dividers between the first and second floors. I might have done one of these upon entering: =)~~ That's drool. The place was completely devoid of floral patterns and bright colors. Imagine Diesel meets H&M. Mom was right - this was just my speed. And of course, because at the root of it, she's still a fancy lady, she had already arranged for her own salesboy. I love the overall aesthetic of the store, but everything is ridiculously overpriced! I was checking out the men's section for my boyfriend and it is full of what I imagine the poor, tragic characters in a Charles Dickens novel would wear. Maybe their muse is Oliver Twist or maybe they're going for "Chimney Sweep Chic." Everything was worn, scuffed, torn or wrinkled. If I could give this store 6 stars I would! In the abyss of stores on lincoln road that only sell tight sparkly club wear and acrylic platform heels, All Saints stands out to those of us who don't pay our bills with nudity. The clothes are well made with beautiful prints and fabrics constructed in a London chic vibe. I walked in and the sales guy (Tony?, i forget) was really friendly and helpful. The sizing are UK sizes so he was quick to explain that to me before I started shopping around. He was very knowledgeable about the line and was able to recommend things based on what he saw I liked. The price is reasonable for the high quality silks and leathers. I was pleased to be rung up the by the manager, who was super cute and friendly, even though i wasn't spending tons of money (for now at least). All in all an awesome shopping experience. I'm looking forward to earning a ton of frequent flyer miles here!! read more

This place made me sad The music was depressing, some relentless keening that Dead Can Dance did better years ago The clothes made me sad, very stylish, very chic but there was no joy in them. Hands down one of the most interesting stores I have ever been to- and I shop a ton. The store is beautifully designed with old singer sewing machines hanging from every part of the ceiling. But lets be honest- when you get past the decor you touch the most incredibly soft cotton clothing ever. The clothing are perfectly cut to compliment any shape and the way they fall off your body is really like wearing a second coating of skin. The prices are higher than other stores- but i'm a firm believer that you pay for what you get. I would much rather pay 50$ for a t-shirt that was designed and made with care that will last- instead a crap gap shirt made in a sweatshop overseas that will last one season. I visited the AS store in ibiza and was glad to find this one. I will be back and thanks for finding my glasses in the breath-taking fitting rooms! read more

I hate to disagree with the other reviewers BUT this store is run by arrogant folks who blatantly ignore State of Florida retail laws. Sure you might excuse them because their Brits (the owners are) but just try to return something and expect it to be a nightmare. When I went to return a purchased item that didn't fit right once home (despite trying it in the store) I was told no one was available to handle returns..NO ONE...in disbelief I asked for a manager and was then told NO managers were available. They were all out at some meeting. I was told I could back in an hour...come back? in an hour? Are you kidding me? The guy at the register told me they don't refund even though the receipt says the store "honors your refund rights" but I was told that means your right to exchange but not get a refund...huh?? He further told me that they follow UK store rules not US or Florida ones. The store has way too many employees as it is yet none seem able to do much of anything other than walk around. I gave up waiting that day but fortunately I purchased with Amex and they took care of my problem for me. I tell people TO AVOID this store unless you absolutely love what you buy, returning something is not an option. Spend your money with retailers who really want you to come back not out of country types who think they are far superior to you and that their merry ole English laws overrule ours. read more

The store is beautiful. The clothes are absolutely gorgeous. So what's with the one star? It's a short & simple explanation. Out of curiosity, my boyfriend & I decided to look at the interior tags to see where the clothes were made. I saw a very pretty grey dress & went searching for the interior tag. What I saw shocked me....sort of. Price tag: $275 Material: 100% polyester! Made: In China!!! I can get the same exact quality at Forever 21 for $15. Made in China?! Gee, I wonder what that means? How much do those workers get paid to make polyester clothes that get jacked up in price about 1000%. I'm sick of seeing companies do this. It's as if there is no such way to buy ethically anymore. I saw a high end dress in Neiman Marcus that was also manufactured in China. It was a very high end Italian brand. You'd think they'd make their product in Italy, but no. Bought my first leather jacket here a few years back and it has aged perfectly. The prices are high on regular clothes but once it is sales season, everything is worth it. Don't even get me started on the decor and ambiance because I love it and basically want to move in one of the dressing rooms. The staff is goodlooking and has that "laid back chic i am totally prettier than you" look but they don't have that attitude. Also dont feel bad if your usual size is a 6 and there you are a 12. I wasn't quite sure about this place at first, I'm an 8/10 girl with a booty and as soon as I walked in I thought that those designs and cuts would never look good unless I was a size 0 twig....boy am I glad I was wrong! The fabric and cuts in every single piece in the store are so flattering on all body types that I had a hard time choosing what I was going to buy out of all the pieces I loved! I find AllSaints to be ridiculously expensive for a British High Street retailer in South Beach. For one, their aiming towards a progressive/industrial clientele, and let's be honest, that's a rarity in South Florida. I know, as well as the next guy that there's a scarcity of progressive fashion-forward individuals in South Florida, let alone South Beach. Don't believe me? Walk around Lincoln road and you'll see what I'm talking about --- bright, coloured clothing; sometimes even glittered t-shirts --- heading towards Score? Not a very industrial crowd, right? There's also a strange tackiness side to AllSaints. I'm not sure if it's the same in NYC (probably not), but there's always a huge sale, like 50% off everything. But this is never true, they don't deduct from the price tag, so that t-shirt is still going to run you $100. A $100 t-shirt that's made out of wool --- in South Beach? I came across this incredible store last month in Miami. I think it was the massive old metal sewing machine design that initially caught my eye and seeing a store name I did not recognize drew me in. I talked with the staff for a bit and, in a tradition with G-star Raw, this is a very popular Euro brand that is slowly making its way into the US market. Their clothes have such a unique twist to them- a casual shirt that partly morphs into a thin hoodie for example, things I haven't seen at a lot of other stores but all look really good. The staff was also extremely amiable and helpful. I may be going back to MIami in the coming months and know where I will be doing some more shopping! read more

I recently did a search to find an item that was out of stock across the country. All Saints doesn't ship nor transfer product from store to store. After calling the store and chatting with a manager, I quickly fell in love with their customer service even more than their great products. They were able to get creative and help me out in securing the last known pair of boots left in my size.
