Initially opened as a clearance area for the original Nordstrom in Seattle in 1973, it then opened as a standalone store in 1983. My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off.

A few weeks before I came here, one of our neighbors saw us carrying Publix bags and admonished us, telling us we'd save a lot by going to TJ's instead. All that in mind, I came to Trader Joe's fully expecting a mind-blowing adventure in grocery shopping where I'd find amazing foods along with typical grocery store items, all at rock bottom prices. That day I left disappointed and empty handed. I selected a few things, but ended up putting them back as I found that TJ's didn't have many of the standard grocery staples I was looking for on that day, and several items were more expensive than Publix. I'd actually written a review draft, giving this Trader Joe's 3 stars at most after that visit. Fast forward several weeks and I was looking for something unique to make for dinner and I did a search for creative ideas from Trader Joe's. They had several suggestions for buying multiple items at this store and combining them (in some cases using additional ingredients from Publix as well) for a relatively inexpensive and fast meal so I came, found everything I needed and made 2 dinners for two for about $15 each. The first was Birria tacos which hubby is a fan of each time we go to Earls. The second was chicken mole which I often order at Bakan or Koko, both with Mexican rice. Both meals were simple to prepare, turned out really well and were inexpensive to make. If you come here to TJ's looking for lots of standard grocery store staples and basic ingredients, you may be disappointed - and with many things it makes sense to comparison shop as Trader Joes' isn't always the cheapest on price - but for specialty items, frozen prepared foods and meal planning, I found it to be a really good option. After you park, you have to go up a ramp, put a quarter in the chain attached to the cart and release it in case you've never been to an Aldi's these are the kind of things you should know... *You need a quarter to get a cart *You need to either bring your own bags or pay for them at the store, the store has boxes around for you to carry your groceries out but I always bring my own bags *Be ready to get shocked at the prices in this store...they're amazing! They have really good produce for the price, (it's Publix quality at least) and very fresh. I love that they carry a lot of organic produce which is something I always look for in a store. I enjoy their organic fruits! Everyone here is very nice. From the moment you walk in you have a greeter at the front! The ambience all around the store is very chill.

Hate to write this review but I had the worst experience at this bike shop. Which absolutely sucks…read morebecause I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.

Their were several rows of SALE items towards the back of the store near the dressing rooms and you could score quite a bargain as the items were marked between 60-80% off.
