I have a soda stream and I needed a new canister of CO2. The service desk did not have the right one so I found it in the home department. Mine has a screw on cap. They would not sell it to me for the exchange because it was not in the service desk.The whole thing seemed a little ridiculous because they had it right there but they would not sell it to me at the exchange rate. If I can save just one person from the frustration and aggravation of dealing with this awful store, it will be worth the effort. I have to come here every week, although I might need to spend more on gas and go elsewhere. There hasn't been a visit that just went smoothly with no problems. I had a cashier the other day who was in a big rush and she closed her line with many people behind me. She then told me that my credit card was declined, but it didn't make sense and I was trying to avoid using my debit card and risking having my mortgage payment bounce, but that is what had to happen. I then used my debit card and Walmart charged BOTH cards for the transaction. I contacted my bank and they said they could do nothing; I had to contact the "merchant." I contacted Walmart's online chat, and asked for a supervisor. After an hour's wait, the supervisor, who was in India, told me he could not help me; even with a charge that same day. The next day, I contacted a manager at this Walmart. She said she would not help me over the phone. With $5.05/gallon gas, it meant another trip to this store and more waiting in lines. (without any guarantee that they would fix the problem they created) I have probably spent tens of thousands of dollars in this store and had just paid for new glasses at Walmart Vision Center and bought a computer in the electronics dept. Their complete lack of customer-focus is troubling. One star is too much. read more

I was kind of bummed today when I didnt get my 3 jugs of milk and sweet potatoes that I ordered with grocery pick up and then I called the main store and pick up and could not get on the phone with anybody for a long time. KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE!! DO NOT use WALMART'S grocery delivery service! When you place your order they put a hold on the funds at your bank. If for whatever reason you have to cancel the order (in my case due to extremely poor customer service) the funds WILL REMAIN ON HOLD. Walmart even told me "...some financial institutions hold these for up to 30 days." How many of you can afford to have your grocery money held up for 5 days let alone 30 days? So when they provoked me into cancelling my order I had to wait 5 days to go grocery shopping again. Think of it as a malicious punitive financial punishment for daring to chose to spend your money else where. Don't try to resolve things through customer service either - even a Tier II Escalations Specialist claims they can't do anything because they "do not have access ... to the details of grocery orders." They quickly pass the responsibility to the next department that finds itself ill-equipped to handle a complaint. read more

I called the store twice on 9/20/2021 and asked for the auto service center. I was transferred to a phone that just rang. I went to the store at 4:10pm only to find a sign that said they had temporary hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Sunday. I went back this morning 9/21 at 8:45am and all doors are locked with no one around. How posting a sign saying the auto service is closed and having the phone operators tell people they are closed? It would also be nice to know if any other Walmart service centers are open as alternatives. It's not that hard. read more

Had to get two tires on my car and they snapped off the lug nut. Got an attitude from their manager regarding it the next day after their guys are the ones who did the damage and I was told by the folks Sunday night to take it somewhere and bring the bill. Since my review, I noticed someone by the name of Bob T, Phoenix gave a review also in same month as I. He said he gave a 1 star because of an item being cancelled without him knowing it. To him I say that has happened to me also. The only reason for that happening is because the online payment method did not go through, there was a tech problem, or you did not pick up-in time. If you dealt with a customer service person from another country ordering online, (not you doing ordering), from another country, they may have messed up. They did for me. However, if your order was confirmed in a text or email, you would have got got an email saying it was cancelled. That is what they do. You also may not have picked up on time. It gives you an approximate day and time it will be ready and how many days they hold. It is logical if you did not hear by then, you call the store. They also will do something If they messed up online. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT THE LOCAL STORES FAULT. I had one cancelled, but they sent an email immediately, and I called the online customer service. It was worked out. I am reading reviews and the star ratings for this store. I am not sure where they got there number of stars. I sometimes think people are sent to write bad reviews, because they are competitors. Any employee can have a bad day, however, some customers can be demanding and think their needs take precedence over someone the employee is already helping. My husband and I have had nothing but wonderful service, The people working there have been very helpful and nice. If I can't find something, I have had very helpful people. We also order groceries on line and pick them up in a special pick-up area. The Walmart shopper has done a great job of getting the freshest perishables, the longest expiration dates, and packaging that is not damaged. The prices are the lowest for the same items at other stores the majority of the time on a everyday basis. The only time I have noticed a higher isolated price on an item, was only during a competitor's sale. Walmart has sales also, on top of their already lower prices. I think this store is as good as any store and probably better. We will continue to shop there. read more

Cris at the customer service desk is the personification of all of the bad things you hear about Walmart workers, which sucks because most of them are hard working folks, surviving like the rest of us. I went in for a return and she asked me if I had the item in my purse when I walked in. I did, so I said yes and she said there was now a policy that you have to show returns at the door. I honestly don't recall if there was even anyone at the door because I wasn't looking for them. This isn't new new, I recall this being the norm a while ago, but I thought it went away. I asked her where the policy was posted, and she ignored me. I asked her, louder this time (but nowhere near loud enough for anyone behind me to hear me) how I would know this policy was reimplemented, and she said "I'm not trying to argue with you about it". Well neither was I, I was just asking a question! How is asking a simple question arguing? I was ignored, she straight up ignored me THE WHOLE REST OF THE TIME! I felt so belittled, like my questions were beneath her. Zero communication skills, she couldn't just say something like just letting you know for next time or even a too bad, I can't refund this- something, anything! I wasn't even sure if she was processing the refund or not, it was just silence while I was standing there. The truth is, it's not posted, I checked their policy board and the door, there was nothing there about this new, old policy. She did process the refund, and then threw the receipt at me. I wish she would do that elsewhere so I could react accordingly, but people like Cris act this way because this is the one area of their life where they have the authority to do so. I'd feel sorry for her if she wasn't so damn rude. read more

I've been to this Wal-Mart a few times. Pretty standard for what I would expect, outside of registers pretty difficult to find employees if you have a question. A little better than other stores I've seen (I can actually FIND the electronics section employee, for example). I encounter increasing breathing difficulties the longer I spend in this store, becoming very noticeable at around five minutes. I don't have this issue with other locations. I've tried questioning employees I can find outdoors (since I can't stay long inside) about it, but no one can help me figure out what might be different about this location. I'd recommend caution to anyone who has an allergy to a substance that can easily become an airborne irritant (i.e. formaldehyde, formalin). Otherwise a perfectly reasonable store. Much to my disappointment recently I discovered this store does not carry Triple Sec at all, ended up having to make a trip to another store (and ran late to my own party) because of it. read more

It has almost everything you may need, even a bunch of stuff you would never think of. If you do not like the self check lanes do not use them (by the way Fry's has them as well and do not work near as well), every time I have asked where something is the employee does not point a general direction but takes me there unlike other stores. read more

Never had rude service here until yesterday Only in the exchange dept. A little old blonde lady told me there was nothing she could do without a receipt or packaging... how did I know the product would break after one use? I had a product that I bought there about a month ago I did not keep the receipt... it was an eyebrow trimmer. The clerk was upset that I needed her to help me find another one because mine had broken. We could not find an exact match so she "jerked" an empty skew off the wall and walked 5 miles ahead of me back to the counter. Then because the batteries still worked said it was not broken... the thing was in 2 pieces!! After reluctantly giving me a store credit "I" was the one who said thank you and that I was sorry for the trouble? some people do not belong in customer service. read more

I have shopped at this store since it opened and it used to be quite nice with friendly knowledgeable staff. In the past two years however, the store has become more run down and too many of the staff have little to no abilities beyond stocking shelves and wandering around. Management has hit the bottom hard with their indifference, blame the customer and confrontational attitudes (Coach Ron is the worst I've seen). Examples; Took them 45 minutes the find two trailer tires I ordered, took 1 hour to find a 90 gallon yard box - all ordered on Site to Store. Took three management and one cashier and 25 minutes to process a credit card payment (after which they were mad at me for troubling them with work). One last observation, try and call into the store to talk to a manager - good luck. Shelves are empty for many products (pre covid) and the epidemic has made this situation only worse. Not a good store anymore and that is too bad, used to really like going there. read more

Roger and Evelyn were so helpful and knowledgeable regarding the type of battery I needed and gave great customer service. Very happy with my new battery. Give these two a raise! read more

Came to the tire center today to get my battery tested and charged. We asked the guys outside if they could test it and they just pointed us inside. Younger kid and an older man. Then we went inside and an older bald man checked the battery for us only to tell us that he didn't have time to help us because they closed in an hour and the battery would take about 90 minutes to charge. Awful customer service- made me feel unwanted and uncared about. Work on providing a genuine and caring customer service experience and not telling me you don't care. read more

Do not buy tires at this wal-mart. I bought tires here 3 years ago for a Toyota Camry and they installed directional tires the wrong way causing premature wear. I also bought tires for a Silverado and included the road hazard coverage. One of the tirEs separated with only 6000 miles and they claimed it was from under inflation. I'm religious about checking tire pressure so I knew this wasn't the case. Went to the wal-mart on Greenfield and 60 and they replaced the tire, no questions asked. read more

Everytime I go in now items are in the incorrect spots with incorrect prices and at the check out the same woman calls for a price check and always tells me I'm wrong it was in the right spot at the higher price. I work in retail I bet whoever she pages to do the price check is switching it back to the correct spot so they don't have to give me the lower price because of their crappy stockers. Every. Last. My 9 month pregnant wife was stopped on the way out by a greeter. She was along and had bought two items. The greeter treated her like a criminal and didn't allow her to leave until she had showed her receipt. Again she had bought TWO that is 2 items. She was struggling and was made to stop, set down the items on the grounds to get the receipt out and the bag and show a receipt for toilet paper and a small package of Benadryl. That is ridiculous. You should never treat a pregnant woman in such a way, especially on struggling to carry a large bulky item. That Walmart greeter should be talked to. That is not ok. read more

I was in this store during my lunch break today. Said hello to the "greeter" who did not greet me. Spent over $100.00 on fishing supplies. As I was leaving I walked past the "greeter" a middle aged blond chick on the east side of the building, same greeter I pasted by on the way in. She started stomping toward me asking to see my receipt I told her I had paid for my things. She continued aggressively walking toward me and was inches away from me, I thought she was about to grab my arm. She nastily whispered at me to not come back. I told her to get her manager she told me to get one myself as she hurried away. This chick new she was in the wrong. Had I not had to go back to work I sure would have gotten a manager. I tried to call the store several times and tried all the options, the phone just rings, I am not surprised given the kind of scum they have working for them! I WILL be back at the store after work to return my purchase and will never return to this store again. I will avoid any walmart in the future. I will not be treated treated this way. read more

I shop this Wal-mart a lot. I have been in the tire Department a few times. I see the men standing around talking and sharing something on the phones, while the girl out there was working her butt off. I have also watched a few of them walking past the window to what I assume is a back room, only to see them come out with food and them stand around eating -- again while this poor girl is out there running around working her butt off. I don't know who the boss is but I don't think this is fair. Hate to say it but if I was that girl I would not be working in this place at all. read more

There is a reason this Greenfield/Mckellips Walmart is so popular. The store and employees are amazing. Also, another major draw is the people that shop at this Walmart. I go out of my way to shop here and have always told friends and family about my favorite Walmart. Last night I was at my son's house. He was frantically working on detailing his car he is selling and ran out of a special upholstery cleaner he gets at Walmart. He came home with it, finished the upholstery cleaning and went on to the next project. Next thing you know everybody is looking for Jeff's wallet. It was no where to be found.....I said, " call the store"!!! Thankfully, someone had turned it in to customer service. It had fallen out of his pocket while getting into the car. You never saw such a happy family. Tears were involved. I was so proud that my son always goes to my favorite magic Walmart store!!!!!! read more

This place is becoming one of the worst stores. Last couple of times I've had nothing but problems. JJ and Marcy are terrible employees. I grabbed a shirt and it had no tag so i grabbed one that had a tag to take to the cashier. She put in the number on the tag which was about 6 more dollars then what all the other shirts on that rack. So then i ran and grabbed another one with another tag and still got charged 19 dollars for a shirt that was priced at 12.96. If i have another bad experience here i will not be coming back. This place needs to learn about customer service. read more
