Disappointed.... Big box retailers are always looking for ways to reduce overhead. It's a business. The global economic hi jinx that this administration is putting us in makes it hard to pass real savings on to the consumer. Decreasing the ability for staff to service in store guests can not be the answer. Today I was in store and noticed that an item I have been stalking had been marked down. I used the scanner to confirm and it rang up a different price. I walked the entire women's section 2 times. I walked through the 'dressing rooms' that are always closed and used as a storage area twice. There were no sales associates on the floor. I asked a custodial associate about calling someone for help and he kindly let me know that they are not supposed to do that. I walked through the shoes and accessories department and there was not one associate in sight. I tried to look for a mirror to see if I could just make a buying decision without trying the items on. I had to go to the home - mirrors section just to look at the items I was interested in buying. I finally went to the front of the store and saw two people standing watching the registers. I asked one of the individuals for help in ladies, and received a , 'For what?'. I blinked a few times. I think I understood what she was asking, but that was definitely not how you professionally ask that question. After all that the wrong signage was posted. The associate helped me, but I'm not sure if they were happy about it. I ended up having to buy 2 different sizes because I had no way to really determine which size would fit. Now I have to return one of the items. Positive - The Free Assembly / Scoop buyers/designers have leveled up the options in a major way, but who wants to play a guessing game with sizing with a higher price point item. The racks have been fairly full for over a month with these items. Maybe if people could try on items they would purchase more. I'm just waiting for markdowns as this point. Sad store, everyone looks miserable. You can't use Apple Pay at Customer Service, even though it's the only register you can purchase gift certificates. Lady looked blankly at me, "you can only use Apple Pay at the check stands" but you cannot purchase gift certificates there. I left and won't return. there is zero reason to waste your time at Walmart. Don't give them your money. And also, don't allow them to track your credit cards, which they now automatically add to your Walmart online account if you enter your number. read more

I had a bizarre experience at the customer service counter when requesting a return. The item was new with tags attached, and I informed the cashier (OP: 006337) that I didn't have my receipt. I input my credit card into the card reader but the transaction was unable to be located. And then the cashier...just stood there. She didn't say the item wasn't in the store's inventory, didn't say the refund couldn't be processed, didn't send me on my way to wait on another customer...didn't say a thing. I was confused, as I've lost or thrown away receipts before and whatever cashier waited on me would at least offer to give store credit. A part of me wondered how long she would've remained silent had I not said anything but I had other things to do so I asked for store credit. And just like that, she processed my refund. Our local Walmart is, unfortunately, a bit of a hot mess. This parking lot itself has a myriad of problems, between being almost constantly full, to being an active hazard - try entering or exiting by car from the entrance nearest the building, and you will nearly collide with people and other cars, and find it impossible to approach. There is almost always a broken down car or two in the parking lot as well...anyway. The lines are usually super long to check out, and the last time I went, we came in near to closing and were basically forced out and yelled at roughly 1 minute past the normal closing time to leave. Look-I get it...Walmart is a busy place, and to be fair, this place often has some solid deals, particularly on prepackaged stuff, and that's why I come. It was a busy afternoon late Saturday, but I came to find transmission fluid for my vehicle. This particular brand is hard to come across in person, so I saw that Walmart carries it. Upon arrival, the store was packed, people doing their shopping,etc. It's been a while since I stepped into a Walmart; I avoid crowds lol. I prefer curb side pick up. I originally ordered this item for about $740 after tax. Walmart canceled my order after I waited two weeks. I called and was told to reorder it at the new $1,550 price and they would match my original price. They canceled that order too. I called again and was assured it was in stock and that they would still honor my original price. I ordered a third time and it finally arrived. After I paid someone to bring this extremely heavy item into my house, Walmart suddenly said they would not honor the price they repeatedly promised. Absolutely horrible experience. I bought a TV from this Walmart, brought it home, and it was broken. I went all the way back, returned it, got store credit, and bought another TV. I brought THAT one home and it was broken too. So I had to come back AGAIN. The cashier told us we would get store credit on a gift card, we spent even more time looking for another TV, and when we came back she accidentally scanned the transaction twice and apparently did not properly check the store policy beforehand. After wasting even more of our time, we were told we had to come back AGAIN the next day. This has been one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I've ever had. Multiple trips, two broken TVs, employee mistakes, hours of wasted time, and in the end we are still paying full price for the TV with absolutely nothing offered for all the inconvenience. The customer service and handling of this entire situation was unacceptable. I would seriously think twice before buying a TV or even anything from this location. read more

This place is horrible that virtual AI Robot that answers the phones gets you nowhere answers no questions that you ask and wants to send you a text message. This is one of my favorite Walmarts to visit. They usually have the products that I need. There is plenty of parking which is shared with a huge shopping center and there are plenty of carts available to use. The prices were really good here on my last visit. I got some of my specialty items for a lower price than I was expecting so that was a nice surprise. The store is pretty clean and there is a vast selection of items for whatever it is you're looking for. The lines can be long or short depending on what day you go, but the cashiers are always kind. read more

They need a better system at this location. I come here multiple times a week and they are FOREVER STOCKING IN EACH AISLE. It's ridiculous at this point. You can't shop peacefully because it always feels like you're there after hours. It's a rat race in there specifically because of the workers. I had a very disappointing experience at the Walmart on Victory Blvd. in Burbank. I attempted to purchase several No Boundaries tank tops from a display clearly marked $2.00 each. There was no sign indicating a purchase limit and no notice that only certain colors were included in the sale. At checkout, I was told by staff and management that I could only purchase one shirt at the sale price and would have to pay full price for the rest. While discussing the issue, employees began removing the sale sign and would not honor the advertised price. To make sure I understood correctly, I went to another Walmart location the same day and was able to purchase multiple shirts at the advertised sale price without any problem. As a senior on a limited income, I found this experience frustrating and unfair. I had to spend extra time and gas driving to another store because the advertised sale was not honored. The super centers are always worth checking out because it's huge and so much to see. However, every time we visit, we never find what we need, due to stock. That's just part of how it is with being a collector lol. Burbank is a popular city so being a bit of a drive out, we're always unlucky with finds. Still a great Walmart though! Just like others, they have a ton of stuff. This one feels a bit darker inside than most, idk if the lighting is just weird or what. This one is always heavily decorated with the seasonal themes though which is really cool to see! Big parking lot but suuuuper busy. Sometimes you have to park really far because of how busy it gets. Came by today since it showed they had stock of the Harry Potter Cuff Cuties online but ofc didn't find a single one when we visited. The worst Walmart I ever been to. Would give zero stars if I could! Always overcrowded, staff is rude and unprofessional. Now they literally count every item in your cart before let you go to self-checkout, so even if you clearly have less than 15 items you still got to wait before associate finish count and let you use self-checkout. So basically they do their best to provide slowest service in one of the busiest Walmarts in SoCal. As I chug from my jug of Simply Lemonade in the parking lot, let me tell you this tale... On a dark and stormy night... wolves howling... goblins lurking... jk, it's like 80-something degrees at almost 11pm on a hot, summer Friday night and you'd think Walmart Supercenter was a club! The place was packed and poppin'! Parking lot was almost totally full! I got here at 10:52pm - right before they closed - and I was dashing around the store like a crazy lady, covered in crazy amounts of cat fur, searching for lint rollers like my life depended on it!! Lo and behold! In the back of the store - aisle H50 (if memory serves) - there's a bevy of lint rollers to choose from. I had no time to deliberate, so I grabbed 3 different ones, then ran to the grocery section in need of an ice cold bevvie. Simply Lemonade beckoned to me and I happily obliged. Now. The real star of the show. DONNA! A very kind and patient woman. She's an absolute peach, and she deserves a gold star and a raise! Especially a raise! Walmart Supercenter far exceeded my expectations tonight, and I hope to return very soon. Went with my husband we usually have our cashier but he wasn't there so we went with this older white lady with glasses and botched pony tail who thought it was ok to drop our vegetables pick them up and place them right back into the bag. We had to tell her not to put them back in the bag (how unsanitary) I use have sympathy for these front line people but now they just think they can take advantage of your kindness and get a pass when they make mistakes so you have to let them know it's not ok. I hate that this is the closest Walmart to me because every single time I shop here, whether through delivery or in person, there is always an issue. I've been a Walmart+ member for years and had great experiences before moving to this area. Once I started ordering from the Burbank location, it seemed like every delivery came with missing items, damaged products, expired food, or poor-quality substitutions. I initially thought the problem was the delivery drivers, so I upgraded to Walmart+ InHome, which is supposed to have store associates shop and deliver your order. Somehow, the experience got even worse. The same issues continued, and despite paying extra for the InHome service, not once did they actually deliver inside my home. They simply left everything on my doorstep. The additional cost ended up feeling like a complete waste of money. The final straw was a dress I purchased from another Walmart while visiting family about two hours away. The store forgot to remove the security sensor at checkout. I brought the dress, along with proof of purchase, to the Burbank location expecting a quick and simple fix. Instead, I was told they couldn't help because the item wasn't "in their system." When I became frustrated and said I would just return the dress, they initially claimed they couldn't do that either because the item wasn't in their system. Then, after scanning the return I had already created, suddenly the item appeared in the system and they were willing to process a return. So rather than simply removing a security tag from an item I had clearly purchased and had proof of purchase for, they were willing to take back the entire item. That experience made absolutely no sense and was incredibly frustrating. At this point, I have lost confidence in this location's customer service, delivery operations, and overall shopping experience. I will never shop this location again read more

She requested her manager Anna who was needed for the approval of my return & was also courteous & professional. They made my transaction simple as it should be and as it used to be when customer service was not so automated with computers, inventory & UPC codes. The Latina cashier (name started with an S) tossed the bag at me after I said I needed one so I can pack my own bags meanwhile other cashiers were packing their customer's stuff? Then the black cashier was moving extremely slow and speaking poorly to customers... prompting my mother in law to leave her items and the store because the customer service was that horrible.... My husband and I have just moved nearby a few days ago and we are still getting to know the neighborhood better and see what's near. We got excited to see that there is a Walmart only 4 minutes away so we had decided to go there and get things for the house. Tonight we have received the best service ever from Samantha! 5 star Cashier service!! She was so patient with us after realizing we couldn't use Apple Pay! We had a whole cart so we were distraught. But she is super knowledgeable and let us know we can download the Walmart app, add our card there and then pay. It took time but she helped us through it all and eased our anxiety. She was able to check out other guests while proactively helping us in such a caring way. She was speedy and helpful to all of us! After a long Monday the least you want is to end it on an even more stressful note, but Samantha really REALLY came through and made this experience a BREEZE!!! It all began with my son opening up a grocery account to have groceries delivered in Los Angeles. The grocery selection was fairly good but vegan and salad choices were very poor and the selection of organic foods was pathetic. Nothing like the good selection at Amazon Fresh or Amazon Whole Foods. For the first couple of months almost EVERY grocery order my son made was an awful experience. The delivery driver's NEVER followed directions and because they were probably allowed to keep the nice tip my son left them, if they would post to Walmart that the delivery was ATTEMPTED. And then, when the driver's went to Walmart to pick up other customer's groceries that needed to be delivered, they left my sons entire order at Walmart, (warm and spoiled from driving around all day in the sweltering Los Angeles heat). We know because we watched the driver on our phone as they drove around all day and we did not see the driver come to our place in a so-called ATTEMPT to deliver. Then, Walmart wanted my son to drive over 40 minutes to pick up the groceries himself. The driver's just did not want to carry 200.00 or more of groceries to our elevator and go up five flights. They also did not want to bother with the call box. He hardly EVER got his groceries that he would order. Trying to get a refund from Walmart was a NIGHTMARE!!! Explain things to FIVE different people with numerous transfers for hours and then get directed back to the Walmart Superstore in Burbank, CA. Additionally, when trying to cancel his grocery subscription (and he is a website designer) Walmart's website (my son's account) LITERALLY would not let him cancel or take off all of his credit cards!!! There was ABSOLUTELY no option for him to cancel and they had JUST charged his bank account AGAIN with two charges, each over $7.00 for membership to buy groceries and a delivery membership or monthly additional charge, which was odd. And lastly, the bags that they bring the groceries in are so flimsy and not at all right for grocery deliveries, especially large ones, were always taring and our groceries (the ones that we DID get) were spilling out all over the hallway. This place is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! Beware!!! And they are STILL bothering him with texts and emails to buy things because you have to provide your email address to them. We will NEVER use them again and if they charge his credit card again we will report them to Consumer Affairs and the CFPB! read more

Worst experience ever at a Walmart. I placed an order for pickup and accidentally did curbside. I couldn't figure out how to change the pick up so I didn't mind since I only ordered one item so I assumed it would be very quick. Arrival and check in through app was simple enough. But I had to wait over an hour before I got out of the car and decided to ask an employee about my order in which they got it out within a few minutes. I do feel bad cause there were a lot of cars waiting so I'm sure they were backed up but if it took more than an hour for my one item, I wonder how long others waited for theirs. It would be one star but the second star is because all the employees in the warehouse were so kind to me. So kudos to their guest service but they definitely need to reevaluate their pick up system. read more

The only reason I am writing this review is for the sweet checker Sab who helped my boyfriend and I not have a mental breakdown the night before our impromptu camping trip. This store is highly secured, meaning you will need to flag down an employee pretty much everytime you need anything. The place was a mess but at least Sab made it an enjoyable experience in the end. read more
