Disappointed.... Big box retailers are always looking for ways to reduce overhead. It's a business. The global economic hi jinx that this administration is putting us in makes it hard to pass real savings on to the consumer. Decreasing the ability for staff to service in store guests can not be the answer. Today I was in store and noticed that an item I have been stalking had been marked down. I used the scanner to confirm and it rang up a different price. I walked the entire women's section 2 times. I walked through the 'dressing rooms' that are always closed and used as a storage area twice. There were no sales associates on the floor. I asked a custodial associate about calling someone for help and he kindly let me know that they are not supposed to do that. I walked through the shoes and accessories department and there was not one associate in sight. I tried to look for a mirror to see if I could just make a buying decision without trying the items on. I had to go to the home - mirrors section just to look at the items I was interested in buying. I finally went to the front of the store and saw two people standing watching the registers. I asked one of the individuals for help in ladies, and received a , 'For what?'. I blinked a few times. I think I understood what she was asking, but that was definitely not how you professionally ask that question. After all that the wrong signage was posted. The associate helped me, but I'm not sure if they were happy about it. I ended up having to buy 2 different sizes because I had no way to really determine which size would fit. Now I have to return one of the items. Positive - The Free Assembly / Scoop buyers/designers have leveled up the options in a major way, but who wants to play a guessing game with sizing with a higher price point item. The racks have been fairly full for over a month with these items. Maybe if people could try on items they would purchase more. I'm just waiting for markdowns as this point. It was a busy afternoon late Saturday, but I came to find transmission fluid for my vehicle. This particular brand is hard to come across in person, so I saw that Walmart carries it. Upon arrival, the store was packed, people doing their shopping,etc. It's been a while since I stepped into a Walmart; I avoid crowds lol. I prefer curb side pick up. Anyways I found a few last bottles in ounces of the type of fluid I need for my vehicle. I didn't see a self check out but there were a few registers open so that's how I checked out. I had a very disappointing experience at the Walmart on Victory Blvd. in Burbank. I attempted to purchase several No Boundaries tank tops from a display clearly marked $2.00 each. There was no sign indicating a purchase limit and no notice that only certain colors were included in the sale. At checkout, I was told by staff and management that I could only purchase one shirt at the sale price and would have to pay full price for the rest. While discussing the issue, employees began removing the sale sign and would not honor the advertised price. To make sure I understood correctly, I went to another Walmart location the same day and was able to purchase multiple shirts at the advertised sale price without any problem. As a senior on a limited income, I found this experience frustrating and unfair. I had to spend extra time and gas driving to another store because the advertised sale was not honored. I hope management reviews this situation and provides better consistency and customer service in the future. read more

Alexis is the best! Someone please give this young man a raise. We got Walmart pick up tonight, but half the items weren't ours. As Alexis was coming back from another delivery I asked is he could help us and he promptly got right to it. He helped us organize the items that weren't ours and then he took pictures of what items of my order we didn't get. We were missing 11 items. He somehow found every single item we were missing in lightning speed and helped us put them in bags and in our car. I sure hope he sees this and that his boss does too! I hate that this is the closest Walmart to me because every single time I shop here, whether through delivery or in person, there is always an issue. I've been a Walmart+ member for years and had great experiences before moving to this area. Once I started ordering from the Burbank location, it seemed like every delivery came with missing items, damaged products, expired food, or poor-quality substitutions. I initially thought the problem was the delivery drivers, so I upgraded to Walmart+ InHome, which is supposed to have store associates shop and deliver your order. Somehow, the experience got even worse. The same issues continued, and despite paying extra for the InHome service, not once did they actually deliver inside my home. They simply left everything on my doorstep. The additional cost ended up feeling like a complete waste of money. The final straw was a dress I purchased from another Walmart while visiting family about two hours away. The store forgot to remove the security sensor at checkout. I brought the dress, along with proof of purchase, to the Burbank location expecting a quick and simple fix. Instead, I was told they couldn't help because the item wasn't "in their system." When I became frustrated and said I would just return the dress, they initially claimed they couldn't do that either because the item wasn't in their system. Then, after scanning the return I had already created, suddenly the item appeared in the system and they were willing to process a return. So rather than simply removing a security tag from an item I had clearly purchased and had proof of purchase for, they were willing to take back the entire item. That experience made absolutely no sense and was incredibly frustrating. At this point, I have lost confidence in this location's customer service, delivery operations, and overall shopping experience. I will never shop this location again read more

This is one of my favorite Walmarts to visit. They usually have the products that I need. There is plenty of parking which is shared with a huge shopping center and there are plenty of carts available to use. The prices were really good here on my last visit. I got some of my specialty items for a lower price than I was expecting so that was a nice surprise. The store is pretty clean and there is a vast selection of items for whatever it is you're looking for. The super centers are always worth checking out because it's huge and so much to see. However, every time we visit, we never find what we need, due to stock. That's just part of how it is with being a collector lol. Burbank is a popular city so being a bit of a drive out, we're always unlucky with finds. Still a great Walmart though! Just like others, they have a ton of stuff. This one feels a bit darker inside than most, idk if the lighting is just weird or what. This one is always heavily decorated with the seasonal themes though which is really cool to see! Big parking lot but suuuuper busy. Sometimes you have to park really far because of how busy it gets. Came by today since it showed they had stock of the Harry Potter Cuff Cuties online but ofc didn't find a single one when we visited. Fire Hal, the store manager. He has absolutely no people skills. My wife and I just made our purchases from this store. As we were exiting, Hal was standing in the middle of the exit doorway. He looked furious, as he was reprimanding an employee. A manager should never reprimand employees in front of customers, let alone in the doorway of the store exit. Tonight we have received the best service ever from Samantha! 5 star Cashier service!! She was so patient with us after realizing we couldn't use Apple Pay! We had a whole cart so we were distraught. But she is super knowledgeable and let us know we can download the Walmart app, add our card there and then pay. It took time but she helped us through it all and eased our anxiety. She was able to check out other guests while proactively helping us in such a caring way. She was speedy and helpful to all of us! After a long Monday the least you want is to end it on an even more stressful note, but Samantha really REALLY came through and made this experience a BREEZE!!! There was even a guy going in and out with a beige shirt that was helping the other workers, but he didn't even attempt to assist. No way Jose. Advoid at all cost. Especially advoid trying to park here. This is exactly what nightmares are made of. They have charging ports here. However the lines get backed up and multiple parking spots are blocked. If you are unfortunate to get blocked in, good luck. If you make it inside the lines to check out are insane. Including self check out. Pay no attention to 15 items or less. Its cleary not enforced. The money sevices here is often down so forget about getting money orders. On a positive note. As I chug from my jug of Simply Lemonade in the parking lot, let me tell you this tale... On a dark and stormy night... wolves howling... goblins lurking... jk, it's like 80-something degrees at almost 11pm on a hot, summer Friday night and you'd think Walmart Supercenter was a club! The place was packed and poppin'! Parking lot was almost totally full! I got here at 10:52pm - right before they closed - and I was dashing around the store like a crazy lady, covered in crazy amounts of cat fur, searching for lint rollers like my life depended on it!! Lo and behold! In the back of the store - aisle H50 (if memory serves) - there's a bevy of lint rollers to choose from. I had no time to deliberate, so I grabbed 3 different ones, then ran to the grocery section in need of an ice cold bevvie. Simply Lemonade beckoned to me and I happily obliged. Now. The real star of the show. DONNA! A very kind and patient woman. She's an absolute peach, and she deserves a gold star and a raise! Especially a raise! Walmart Supercenter far exceeded my expectations tonight, and I hope to return very soon. The only reason I am writing this review is for the sweet checker Sab who helped my boyfriend and I not have a mental breakdown the night before our impromptu camping trip. This store is highly secured, meaning you will need to flag down an employee pretty much everytime you need anything. First time just buying a gift card. Who knew that you had to go to customer service for a long amount. The staff was busy talking to themselves and really not focus and assisting the customer. Even with eye contact they were not interested. I did wait my turn and did receive the gift card that I was waiting for. There were some card that were open in the back. My husband and I have just moved nearby a few days ago and we are still getting to know the neighborhood better and see what's near. We got excited to see that there is a Walmart only 4 minutes away so we had decided to go there and get things for the house. There was an item we wanted which was locked up so then we asked for help to open and get what we wanted. Right when the lady came to help us, she started giving us unnecessary attitude, and to top it off when we were not sure about the item she was like "YES OR NO!?" In the most rudest tone. Worst experience ever at a Walmart. I placed an order for pickup and accidentally did curbside. I couldn't figure out how to change the pick up so I didn't mind since I only ordered one item so I assumed it would be very quick. Arrival and check in through app was simple enough. But I had to wait over an hour before I got out of the car and decided to ask an employee about my order in which they got it out within a few minutes. I do feel bad cause there were a lot of cars waiting so I'm sure they were backed up but if it took more than an hour for my one item, I wonder how long others waited for theirs. It would be one star but the second star is because all the employees in the warehouse were so kind to me. Walmart has started having their checkers place sticker on avery item purchased at check out. This is extreamly anoring and greatly slows down the check out process. They put the stickers on even if you ask them not to. Walmart could better use the money they are spending on these stupid stickers and low prices on their item instead. On February 19, I experienced what I believe was discriminatory and targeted treatment at the Walmart store in Burbank. Before I even brought my vacuum inside for return, a Customer Service associate named Rebecca was openly staring at me in a hostile and suspicious manner. The negative treatment began immediately, without any interaction or cause. When I returned with the vacuum -- including the original receipt, original box, and all components -- she aggressively dismantled and inspected it piece by piece in an excessive and accusatory way. This went far beyond a routine return inspection. She then called a manager (Eduardo) and presented the situation in a manner that clearly implied I was dishonest before he even addressed me. As a result, I was treated as if I were attempting fraud despite having proof of purchase. The tone, body language, and handling of this situation were humiliating and appeared discriminatory. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not immediate suspicion. This experience was unacceptable and deeply concerning. read more

HUGE Walmart. You can find almost everything you may need. From groceries, home goods, clothing to kid toys all at a reasonable price. Went in on a busy Sunday afternoon, there was still plenty of parking in the large parking lot. Tan in for the essentials, laundry detergent etc and found my way to the gluten free selection. They have a wide variety of options for gluten free sensitives, and I appreciate it! I picked up a box of banana bread mix and cinnamon rolls I can't wait to try. I came to the store at 1301 N victory Pl to return the phone I bought on the website. When the employee checked the phone and packed it, I asked for a receipt for the return of the goods. The employee glared at me and started shouting that the goods I bought were not sold by Walmart and they were not responsible for them. I replied that returning the goods to the store was one of the options on the website) to which he glared at me even more and repeated that he would not give me a receipt. I asked him to speak to me properly and insisted that he could make a copy of the receipt for me) A female employee was standing nearby, who intervened and gave me a copy of the receipt. Inside is busy during the day most days. Nice selection of grocery items inside. Employees have always been nice and helpful. My issue for 3 stars is grocery pickup at this location. Mostly it goes smoothly but sometimes their app glitches and their employees have confirmed it doesn't notify them you are outside waiting. I have also gotten almost every other week damaged or missing items at pickup. Make sure you double check your order before leaving as they sometimes don't give you an item. read more
