All CVS locations I've been to received zero star from me until today. I've never been on this location for nearly two decades but this branch is a lot bigger than nearby locations. It's also much cleaner and organized. No wonder Ellen De Generes filmed a segment of their show here with Michelle Obama. The biggest surprise was for me to be helped by two of their employees. First, I went to the kiosk to see if there's any coupons I can use but the machine didn't print anything. I found a guy in one of the registers who helped get my coupons printed. Then I proceeded to the pharmacy to look for an item but I didn't find any so I went to look for an associate who was on the next aisle. Came in here to grab one quick thing. There were three total people, including me at the register registers. Two are open to self service. Wonn is sitting there with somebody else else's order that must have walked away from it, but it was never canceled The other lady in Self service Vice completed her order and I went there. I purchased medication that require required an ID. The entire time, the woman at the full service checkout was conversing with a customer chatting about food and other things. My thing started buzzing that I needed an attendant to help. It probably said 10 times help is on the way. She finally came and then said oh go ahead and put your date of birth in, and she walks away. No one else is around. No apology, did not check my ID, no other acknowledgments.. I stopped coming to the pharmacy a long time ago, but the store is slow and unfriendly many times. There was a younger gentleman who used to work here. He was great. The lack of good workers here also is reflected with literally everything being locked up in the facial care section. You can't even re-labels anymore because you have to wait 15 minutes for somebody to come and open the door. read more

Syimar pharmacy cashier bad customer service , poor empathy. Ana covering cashier didn't even know how to check patients prescription sent out couple patients telling them all their Dr did not send their medication , then she found out she made a mistake. I have to fight for her to see my prescription and provide them the same day . I had to wait over 1.5 hour for 3 medications People like them should not be helping sick people. read more

So grateful I was still able to get both a COVID and flu vaccination here. With all the uncertainty in our government, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to. Making an appointment online was quick and easy and so was the appointment itself. As a bonus, I was given a coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase, and since there were things I wanted to get anyway, this was greatly appreciated. From the store location to vaccine availability, it was all highly convenient and I plan to return here again when next year's round of shots are due...assuming and hoping that they'll still be available by then. read more

Come back to the window only to be told- there's a problem, go to drop off. Drop off needs to see the insurance card. Now it's another 20 minute wait. I've been going to this 24/7 CVS for well over a decade. Within the last 2-3 years, the store has taken a MASSIVE nosedive in terms of staffing, product availability, and customer experience. I've been able to grit my teeth and bear it for many visits, but I finally had enough today. Let me explain why: 1) CVS texted me to say that my prescription was ready, so I arrived at 1:57pm. I was 8th in line at the pharmacy and there was ONLY ONE cashier working, which I knew from experience meant this was going to take a while. 2) When I finally reached the counter some 15 or 20 minutes later, the sole worker had to dig through 12 (I counted!) bins of recently-filled-but-not-yet-sorted prescriptions to find the one bag that was mine. Calling this "disorganized" would be like calling a 8.0 earthquake "just a minor rattle." 3) I needed to pick up nasal spray that's NOT at the pharmacy counter, but in Aisle 21 approximately 15 feet away from the pharmacy counter. I pressed that "customer service needed" button FOUR times over the course of about 12 minutes. Not a single customer service rep came to the aisle or anywhere near it. Finally, I went back to the prescription drop off counter to ask for help getting a simple freaking nose spray out of a locked case, and she still had to use the intercom to call for employees to help! 4) I opted to save myself time (what a novel concept, CVS!) and used self-checkout to avoid four people in the main line. To add insult to injury, the nose spray and cough syrup I bought were age-restricted, so yet another non-plussed employee had to come approve my purchase. I walked out of the store at 2:37 pm. A FULL FORTY MINUTES LATER FOR ITEMS THAT WERE ALL AVAILABLE, BUT JUST SLIGHTLY OUT OF REACH. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, CVS????! I don't know if this is managerial malpractice at the store, or if corporate cost-cutting has led to massive understaffing. Could be both, honestly. Bottom line: this location absolutely INSULTS the concept of "customer service." The DMV ends up looking more favorable in comparison. Do better, CVS. read more

Scheduled an appt to get my regular vaccinations and the person at the window had a terrible attitude. He couldn't find my appt even though I had already checked in and then sighed heavily when he realized he had to give me the vaccinations himself. When he finally administered the vaccines he was throwing the caps aggressively in the trash and shuffling loudly through papers before he jammed the needle in my arm without warning. This review is about the one minute clinic. I wasted an hour traveling to this CVS because their one- minute clinic has a particular vaccine. I uploaded all information they requested including my insurance info, as they requested. When I got to the clinic, they said they only take PPO and I would have to pay out of pocket if I want the vaccine. Mobile Order. The whole point of having the app at all. This location's mobile order line is confusing as the "mobile order only" register is in the opposite end of registers than the mobile order sign. So if you stand there at that register, they'll ignore you. Or, just rudely call out "this girl has a bar code" like I've done something wrong by daring to skip the line while I'm staring at a sign that literally says "skip this line with the app!" read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy in Burbank. With that being said, I'd like to give RIMA a good review. She is the only one working there that knows what she is doing. She's friendly, HELPFUL, and best of all, doesn't tell you there's nothing there for you or go to the drop-off window, especially when you've been getting texts saying it's ready!?! I hope she stays for a while, but I'm sure once she realizes what a dump it is, she'll go work for a real pharmacy. The customer service in the pharmacy is nonexistent. My husband picked up my prescription this morning and there is a human hair in the bottle with my pills. I sent a message about this problem to the pharmacy over 8 hours ago and still no response. I also called and left a voicemail. Still no response. I spoke to someone in the store who was unable to help me because he said that the pharmacy is a separate entity. It's disgusting that the pharmacy would dispense medication that is contaminated and then not respond to my multiple messages and calls. I recommend staying away from this pharmacy unless you don't mind the very unsanitary conditions there. I'm a physician and find this situation appalling. The only reason to use this pharmacy is because it's 24hrs. Even then, though, it is so slow and they make so many mistakes that it's barely worth it. They've now messed up our child's prescription 3 times in a span of 1 month. First they just gave us powder without mixing it and no instructions on how to mix it or what ratios, then they mixed it wrong when we brought it back, so the dosage was incorrect. How do you not mix the right amount of water into an oral suspension? Then our prescription just sat in limbo for hours after they said "15 minutes" and we had to double check their work again after the previous mistakes. Terrible communication, and it's always "sorry we're short staffed" or "we'll let them know for next time". Avoid at all costs unless you absolutely need something overnight, but even then it's a gamble. read more

Let me put it this way if you love standing in line for over an hour just to pick up your completed prescription then you will love this place. My daughter was sick and she asked me to pick up her prescription at the Burbank CVS on Hollywood Way. I never have seen this at the Burbank Walgreens on Magnolia. The Walgreens is my go to place for precriptions. CVS really needs to hire more people to work in their pharmacy. Even more so because it is open 24 hours. Bad move CVS. read more

They rob your money- I Just received a bill in the mail of $74 for earwax removal when I didn't receive the service in the first place?! I initially came in for an appointment to double-check no earwax was near my ear drum as I would feel more comfortable if someone else did the procedure. I manually removed my own ear wax prior. The NP looked in my ear and said "no ear wax, it's actually too clean" and from there I left the appointment because nothing needed to be done. No earwax removal was administered. Why am I being charged $99- insurance covering $20?! What in the world? I called Minute Clinic Customer Service to dispute this outrageous charge and their service is not helpful at all. Horrible. The customer support lady said "you did get a service, she looked in your ear." Mam? It does NOT take a medical professional to cup my ear and look at my ear and say "nope, no wax!" don't try to convince me it does. The service is called "Earwax removal." Was earwax removed? NO. The NP did not perform a service where I should encounter this charge. You are met with attitude and pure ignorance to give you any sort of helpful response. read more

ABYSMAL. I don't usually post negative reviews because I usually have better things to do with my time, but clearly not today thanks to how absolutely GARBAGE this place is. I got a call at the start of the week confirming my prescription was ready for pick up. Five days pass, and I get to CVS and wait 30 min in line (at 11 pm) only to be told there are no refills. No one had contacted me in the 5-day window between getting my prescription confirmation call and me actually going to pick it up. The lady tells me to call back the next morning (Saturday). That leads me to the absolute sh**show that has been today. I call in the morning and wait on hold for 30 min before someone picks up. He was massively unhelpful and told me to come in for my prescription. I stop by at 1 pm, and they tell me their system is down and to go to Minute Clinic. The sign on the door says "Back at 1:30", and there's no one at the kiosk. I sit down and wait, and 1:30 comes and goes and there's no one to be found. The pharmacy is massively unhelpful. Finally at 1:50 pm someone shows up, and I tell her why I'm there. She tells me the sign on the door is wrong, and to wait until 2 pm. 2 pm rolls around, and that's when I'm told - hey, we're not doing walks-ins today. Mind you, there isn't a single sign telling me so, no one is at the kiosk, and everyone I've asked in the last hour hasn't informed me of this. Then I'm asked to sit and wait for another hour and MAYBE I'll be seen because they're SOOOO BUSY doing booster shots that take 20 minutes each!!!! I got my booster shot at another location and it took me all of 5 minutes. As I'm writing this, I've been waiting here for 1.5 hrs to no avail - I'm traveling next week and I'm told the only thing I can do is "be patient". Me trying to explain my issue is pointless, as they cut me off mid-sentence every time I open my mouth to talk. I'll wait until I hopefully get my work done, but if you can - run like hell, DO NOT come here. Horrendous place with no respect for my time. The personnel at this pharmacy does not care about you and provides subpar customer service. I needed a consultation because my doctor prescribed a new medication. There were 6 employees working. Waited for 10 minutes and no one bothered to help me . I simply left. Also, they never pick up the phone when you call. As others have noted, you are put on hold for 15 minutes and they hang up on you. One time, I had another pharmacy call to transfer my prescription to them. The pharmacist was frustrated that CVS never picked up the phone. Note to CVS corporate- it is no coincidence that most of the negative reviews center around subpar customer service. Please bring in new management/pharmacist to improve this situation. I for one plan to transfer all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy that actually cares about my well being. read more

This local 24 hr CVS is in a shopping center with a couple restaurants, Starbucks, and a Smart & Final. The service here can be a hit or miss depending on the staff you encounter. Some are super friendly, others clearly don't want to be there. There are separate lines for self service checkout and cashier assisted which can be a bit confusing based on the setup. The pharmacy is always busy since it's 24 hrs and they also have a receptacle on the side in which you can dispose of old expired medications in a safe manner, though sometimes it is locked once it gets full. Overall, with CVS taking over the drugstore landscape, you know what to expect when you come here. The store is typical kept clean and well stocked. read more

Retail store and staff are fine. I've been to their minute clinic several times with no complaints. BUT incompetency like this pharmacy demonstrates is why so many people die from medical mistakes every year. They gave me a prescription that my doctor had cancelled and replaced; I even stated the correct drug and showed the coupon for the correct drug on the GoodRX app. The staff merely stated that coupon wouldn't work due to dosage sizes. So I paid and left. I discovered their error and returned the next morning and it still took several attempts to get them to acknowledge their mistake. Several days later they contect me claiming the correct drug is a "new prescription" they just got in. I'm still debating if I will venture there one final time to get said prescription or call my doctor and get him to send the prescription to any other pharmacy! read more

Every single person who works at this pharmacy should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat sick people who are trying to get their medication. I tried calling about 4 times to be able to talk to someone about a time-sensitive issue with my medication. Something that the automated machine and online system couldn't help, but that a live person could easily solve. Each time it played music for about 5 minutes and eventually disconnected. So because this was time-sensitive, I drove 20 minutes to the pharmacy to ask in person. As I'm standing in line, I hear the phone's alert system say that there were six calls waiting, and one of the employees mockingly said, "SIX CALLS?" with a sarcastic shocked face. That number increased to ten calls waiting in a couple of minutes before another employee went over, pushed a button to disconnect them all, and the count started over. CVS. Please. hire. more. people. in your pharmacy department. It shouldn't be the case where people are just unable to reach the pharmacy. What about the people who aren't able to just up and drive to the building?? Elderly and disabled people who aren't able to get a ride? People whose schedules are so packed they can't make the trip? It's a failure in a system that is meant for people who truly need assistance. It is a fault of the company that there aren't enough employees to cover this need and it's a fault among the faculty to be so dismissive of this issue and go as far as to mock it.
