Walgreens pharmacy on Magnolia and Buena Vista in Burbank CA refuses to carry bottled water while Californians are suffering a major heat wave. When questioned about the issue, employee said that they keep trying to order bottled water but can't get any. Sounds like a crock of poppycock to me. read more

they don't know how to do medical billing and constantly want the patient to get involved in it. Rude. The manager hang up when I was ready to give the info. she needed to verify although she had it all. I would not recommend to anyone to get near this store. Bureaucracy. A problem that could be solved in two seconds, had to go around and around. I was told to pay co-pay when my insurance covers it all and when after paying, I checked my claims, l noticed they had been paid my copay amount. Yet the manager, Linda told me that the insurance company had to solve it not the store. This is how this location is functioning. read more

There's a CVS pharmacy which is just walking distance from my house but I stopped going there until several issues from rude staff. Since then, I'd been going to this Walgreens which is not really that far, probably less than two miles. Service here is a lot better. I love the text feature which notifies you that prescription is due for pickup and when they're ready. They're always on top of prescription renewal and even contacts in your behalf your physician if prescriptions run out. I love the drive through for pickup but they close lunch hours on weekends. This is a very small store so they carry basic medical supplies. Not much selections so you may need to go to a bigger store. read more

Walgreen's is always great. Friendly efficient and professional. Sandra always makes me smile!

Rude. They gave a 30 day supply of medication when my prescription was for 90 days. I called them and they accused me of lying. Then they checked their overhead video of my prescription being filled and realized they gave me the wrong amount. No apology, no acknowledgement of being jerky to me. A total clip joint. read more

I used to be a Rite Aid customer but now that they have closed, I need to find a new pharmacy. I moved a prescription to this location. I called the pharmacy to check on the status of my prescription because the website showed it as received but not yet processed. The person who answered the phone in the pharmacy was unhelpful and raised his voice at me. I will not use this pharmacy ever again. read more

Fire everyone that works in pharmacy. Horrible amateur over the phone because they always try to get off as soon as they can and not get information done with clarity. This is what makes everything harder! SLOW down and do it right or don't do it at all. I hope you all get replaced with AI technology because you guys are the slugs of humanity. read more

Everyone is always very friendly. They will follow up with a doctor for refills. They are very fast at full filling prescriptions

The service is great and people are always happy. They always make time to go over your prescription

The best staff. Very attentive and care about their customers! Updates and communication is second to none. Thank you.

Staff is very nice, but the parking lot is sketchy. Never really feel safe going to and from my car.

It's always convenient to get your vaccines at this location. Making appointment is easy, it's not pack so your wait time isn't too bad. Staff is friendly. read more

Walgreens Pharmacy - Flu shot! - Drugstores Near Me - Burbank, California

This pharmacy is outstanding, both from a selection, value, and customer service standpoint. After moving to Burbank, had been using the CVS pharmacy on Victory and Buena Vista. That pharmacy has a lot of rude staff members and the head pharmacist cancels prescriptions without explaining the reasons to you. But the Walgreens on Magnolia is great. It's very well-run. The staff is efficient, friendly, and responsive. If they can't meet your immediate needs, they will tell you who might be able to help. I can't say enough good things about it. And I'm a pretty demanding customer. read more

PITA!! Went to get Aloe Vera gel for a sunburn The parking lot was full, only one space left I parked, Sun-burn waddled to the door and it was locked Many people inside, so I knocked Do you have an appointment? I was asked No, I need something for my sunburn; pointing to my lobster-colored skin Go to the drive-thru they replied I went to the drive-thru, while a little old lady was refilling 27 prescriptions and had questions for each and every one. To make matters worse, the Asian cashier was wearing a mask and the little old lady couldn't understand her, through the speaker; it reminded me of Eddie Murphy's bit about the stuttering Chinese waiter. I went on the Walgreens app and say they had exactly what I needed, in stock, Aloe Vera gel with Lidocaine. I finally got up to the window and the cashier said "what you prescription" her words, not mine I told her what I needed and she said prescriptions only. I replied, let me guess, Covid? She screamed "YOU COVID?" No! I said, I showed her my arm and the page on the Walgreens app and said, I need two bottles She comes back with Preparation-H I said, not even close She said It Aloe Again, I showed her my arm and she said So? I showed her the app and said, two please She said We no have I then looked up Solarcaine, on the app and said, two of these please She immediately replied We no have I became irritated and said You no look! She walked over to another cashier, said a few words, came back and said We no have I replied, Nǐ tài bèn liǎo bùnéng huó My advice, check your prescriptions, thoroughly; they don't know their a** from a sunburn!! read more

Walgreens Pharmacy - Larry the Lobster - Drugstores Near Me - Burbank, California

Great to have a drive through Walgreens nearby. Excellent service. Good communications. Easy to use website.

Just used the handy dandy drive thru. I find this place way better than CVS or RiteAid. But I'm still a big fan of locally owned pharmacy's like LANDMARK just down the street. But they didn't have enough to fill our prescription today, so here we are. Probably should have gotten our lazy butts out of the car, but we were having a good conversation so opted to wait in what turned out to be about 15-20 minutes in line...just to drop off a prescription. The drop off window was closed. Not sure why. And not really sure why it takes so long to pick up and drop off orders. But it did. After finally dropping off we were told it would be about 20 minutes. So we parked, went next door for a beverage and ran a quick errand. Came back to another long line. But in the end, we got our prescription and moved on. I could breeder do this on a regular basis. But in a pinch, they worked out. read more

I'm looking into starting a class action against Walgreens. They have been denying people their prescriptions for the last couple of months. Apparently they no longer want to accept prescriptions from the online websites that popped up during the pandemic who could issue them without meeting the patient. That was a United States government mandate Walgreens!! You are not bigger than that!! I'm not even one of these people but have been affected by their weeding out process. They tell you everything is on backorder and that is a LIE. They are doing this on purpose. read more

The person who answered my call, after there was a robotic answering machine, was pretty rude. She appeared agitated when I said "I'm here looking for the vaccine for meningococcal B and only see the meningococcal vaccine" and said where, here in person or on the website. When I said thank you at the end she abruptly hung up. Will be looking for a different Walgreens. Maybe cvs pharmacy or somewhere else. read more

This place has the same problems again & again. A small sampling: -Giving out incorrect prescriptions -Failing to inform when prescriptions are ready -Advising prescriptions are ready when they are not -Service is often slow (they seem understaffed/overworked) -Incorrect store hours listed in there automated phone system We spent the last week off of a medication waiting to hear from them. 10 days passed so we finally came down to ask only to be told there was an "issue with the insurance" and "you may want to call them." I feel like quoting Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer when faced with these excuses. Why two stars instead of one? The drive-thru is occasionally convenient. read more

For my time and savings I use this walgreens for my 90 day RX's because they are the best prices and always do their best to fulfill my orders as fast as possible, their explanations are through and clear as well as compassionate when I don't have the funds to pick up my orders for the lack of cash. I can call them direct and my holds are brief while they finish up with the customer in front of them...The pharmacist is clear and I appreciate comparisons when the drux benefits me not the seller. If they don't have what I need they will get it. Thank you for your constant reliability. Angeltompkins regular customer. Walgreens Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Burbank, California

Walgreens employees were negligent and irresponsible in the handling of my covid test, causing me to almost have to fly back from my destination to receive a new one and/or quarantine for 10 days. In order to travel to Hawaii, I needed a Covid test before my flight that was administered at a maximum 72 hours prior. The employees at Walgreens messed up the date and said that I got the test one day earlier than it was administered, making the test 96 hours before my flight. Only did I realize this when I was on my flight to Hawaii. I land and immediately called Walgreens to try and get them to change the date of the test on my official papers so that I can get through the airport. If I couldn't prove that the test was within the allowed window, I would either have to quarantine for 10 days, or fly back to Los Angeles. No thanks to the employees at Walgreens on the phone, I was able to prove the test date. The employees on the phone were unhelpful and showed little to no care about the situation that their location had caused. I strongly caution anyone who needs to do anything important at this Walgreens, for the employees are incompetent and not good at their jobs. Be warned. read more

CVS pharmacist told me that the a particular generic prescription I had be taking for years was no longer offered in the market. I was arbitrarily provided with a more expensive alternative. Well, I found out that what that CVS pharmacist stated was false. I called Wallgreens and spoke with Crystal. She told me over the phone they carried my original prescription. A few days later, I picked it up. Meanwhile, I was not able to return to CVS the item they gave me; despite acknowledging they may have misled me. Apparently, it is their corporate policy not to accepts returns even if they are sealed. From my perspective, their corporate policy is to find ways to financially gauge customers. This particular Walgreens has a superb staff, a convenient drive through option (unlike CVS) and they offer prescriptions that CVS falsely claims are no longer in the market. I only wish my medical insurance allowed me to have Walgreens as my main pharmacy; instead of CVS. read more

What a gem! I am still navigating this thing we call adulthood aka healthcare and tax have been the bane of my existence for a good minute. I called in and made an appt for a Hep A shot- Helga made the process super easy and painless. I came in couple hours later to get my vaccination when in passing, I mentioned I wish I had gotten on it earlier since all my Google searches told me I was too late for my Typhoid shot. I was about a week out from my trip and most say I should get the shot about two weeks prior to leaving. David (while he was getting to administer my Hep A shot) asked when I was heading out and that there is an oral medication I could take. TLDR; very knowledgeable staff, very hardworking and kind. Thank you, staff! read more

Very rude staff, I usually hate giving out bad reviews but I was in here for less than 6 minutes and one of the staff members was extremely rude just because I didn't see her speaking to the drive thru customer. She cut me off abruptly when I only said I was trying to pay, I understand I interrupted her but she could've addressed me in a different way. Anyway, I guess the only positive service you'll receive here is if you go in for a prescription. read more

I just want to give a shout out to Sandra at this Walgreens on Magnolia. She has helped me quite a few times picking up prescriptions and this morning she jumped through several hoops to help me out. This place gets busy as many pharmacies do, but she and the other staff have been great to me over the last couple years. It's a smaller Walgreens so you're not going to find all the "store" items you'd find at the bigger ones, but I come for just my prescriptions and have been very satisfied. Came here to fulfill a prescription and the nice young lady who took my script was a total sweetheart. People obviously are not coming to get medicine because they are in the best health and a little good service goes a long way. Enter the actual pharmacist. She was slightly stocky with long dark hair and a loud voice. Loud enough that she was yelling everyones perscription to the room. I now know the lady in front of me has anxiety and some sort of bacterial disease and the guy behind me is diabetic and depressed. Great job lady. Luckily I didn't have anything embarassing to fill, or else I would have been pissed. Walgreens - talk to your employees.
