A problem that could be solved in two seconds, had to go around and around. I was told to pay co-pay when my insurance covers it all and when after paying, I checked my claims, l noticed they had been paid my copay amount. There's a CVS pharmacy which is just walking distance from my house but I stopped going there until several issues from rude staff. Since then, I'd been going to this Walgreens which is not really that far, probably less than two miles. Service here is a lot better. I love the text feature which notifies you that prescription is due for pickup and when they're ready. They're always on top of prescription renewal and even contacts in your behalf your physician if prescriptions run out. I love the drive through for pickup but they close lunch hours on weekends. This is a very small store so they carry basic medical supplies. Not much selections so you may need to go to a bigger store. read more

This pharmacy is outstanding, both from a selection, value, and customer service standpoint. After moving to Burbank, had been using the CVS pharmacy on Victory and Buena Vista. That pharmacy has a lot of rude staff members and the head pharmacist cancels prescriptions without explaining the reasons to you. But the Walgreens on Magnolia is great. It's very well-run. The staff is efficient, friendly, and responsive. If they can't meet your immediate needs, they will tell you who might be able to help. I can't say enough good things about it. To make matters worse, the Asian cashier was wearing a mask and the little old lady couldn't understand her, through the speaker; it reminded me of Eddie Murphy's bit about the stuttering Chinese waiter. I went on the Walgreens app and say they had exactly what I needed, in stock, Aloe Vera gel with Lidocaine. I finally got up to the window and the cashier said "what you prescription" her words, not mine I told her what I needed and she said prescriptions only. I replied, let me guess, Covid? She screamed "YOU COVID?" No! I said, I showed her my arm and the page on the Walgreens app and said, I need two bottles She comes back with Preparation-H I said, not even close She said It Aloe Again, I showed her my arm and she said So? I showed her the app and said, two please She said We no have I then looked up Solarcaine, on the app and said, two of these please She immediately replied We no have I became irritated and said You no look! I'm looking into starting a class action against Walgreens. They have been denying people their prescriptions for the last couple of months. Apparently they no longer want to accept prescriptions from the online websites that popped up during the pandemic who could issue them without meeting the patient. Just used the handy dandy drive thru. I find this place way better than CVS or RiteAid. But I'm still a big fan of locally owned pharmacy's like LANDMARK just down the street. But they didn't have enough to fill our prescription today, so here we are. Probably should have gotten our lazy butts out of the car, but we were having a good conversation so opted to wait in what turned out to be about 15-20 minutes in line...just to drop off a prescription. The drop off window was closed. Not sure why. And not really sure why it takes so long to pick up and drop off orders. But it did. After finally dropping off we were told it would be about 20 minutes. So we parked, went next door for a beverage and ran a quick errand. Came back to another long line. But in the end, we got our prescription and moved on. I could breeder do this on a regular basis. But in a pinch, they worked out. read more

A small sampling: -Giving out incorrect prescriptions -Failing to inform when prescriptions are ready -Advising prescriptions are ready when they are not -Service is often slow (they seem understaffed/overworked) -Incorrect store hours listed in there automated phone system We spent the last week off of a medication waiting to hear from them. 10 days passed so we finally came down to ask only to be told there was an "issue with the insurance" and "you may want to call them." For my time and savings I use this walgreens for my 90 day RX's because they are the best prices and always do their best to fulfill my orders as fast as possible, their explanations are through and clear as well as compassionate when I don't have the funds to pick up my orders for the lack of cash. I can call them direct and my holds are brief while they finish up with the customer in front of them...The pharmacist is clear and I appreciate comparisons when the drux benefits me not the seller. Walgreens employees were negligent and irresponsible in the handling of my covid test, causing me to almost have to fly back from my destination to receive a new one and/or quarantine for 10 days. In order to travel to Hawaii, I needed a Covid test before my flight that was administered at a maximum 72 hours prior. The employees at Walgreens messed up the date and said that I got the test one day earlier than it was administered, making the test 96 hours before my flight. Only did I realize this when I was on my flight to Hawaii. I land and immediately called Walgreens to try and get them to change the date of the test on my official papers so that I can get through the airport. If I couldn't prove that the test was within the allowed window, I would either have to quarantine for 10 days, or fly back to Los Angeles. No thanks to the employees at Walgreens on the phone, I was able to prove the test date. The employees on the phone were unhelpful and showed little to no care about the situation that their location had caused. I strongly caution anyone who needs to do anything important at this Walgreens, for the employees are incompetent and not good at their jobs. Be warned. read more

This is amazing location. Pharmacist Maurice always helps me with and and all my questions and concerns. Maurice and Linda will do their best with staff ( I am sorry I do not have their names, but all incredible as well) to fix any issues and will keep trying with my specialist and my daughters specialist to rectify the problem. CVS pharmacist told me that the a particular generic prescription I had be taking for years was no longer offered in the market. I was arbitrarily provided with a more expensive alternative. Well, I found out that what that CVS pharmacist stated was false. I called Wallgreens and spoke with Crystal. She told me over the phone they carried my original prescription. A few days later, I picked it up. Meanwhile, I was not able to return to CVS the item they gave me; despite acknowledging they may have misled me. Apparently, it is their corporate policy not to accepts returns even if they are sealed. From my perspective, their corporate policy is to find ways to financially gauge customers. This particular Walgreens has a superb staff, a convenient drive through option (unlike CVS) and they offer prescriptions that CVS falsely claims are no longer in the market. I only wish my medical insurance allowed me to have Walgreens as my main pharmacy; instead of CVS. read more

What a gem! I am still navigating this thing we call adulthood aka healthcare and tax have been the bane of my existence for a good minute. I called in and made an appt for a Hep A shot- Helga made the process super easy and painless. I came in couple hours later to get my vaccination when in passing, I mentioned I wish I had gotten on it earlier since all my Google searches told me I was too late for my Typhoid shot. I was about a week out from my trip and most say I should get the shot about two weeks prior to leaving. David (while he was getting to administer my Hep A shot) asked when I was heading out and that there is an oral medication I could take. TLDR; very knowledgeable staff, very hardworking and kind. This place gets busy as many pharmacies do, but she and the other staff have been great to me over the last couple years. It's a smaller Walgreens so you're not going to find all the "store" items you'd find at the bigger ones, but I come for just my prescriptions and have been very satisfied. So I was in a car accident where my car was totaled and I ran into a tree. I spent 2 days in the hospital. After discharge I was prescribed 5 medications 1 of which was a pain medication easy enough right ? WRONG! After taking a ride share over to this pharmacy from work the pharmacist Bill says that I don't have the proper prescription. Like WHAT? The doctor printed the prescription from a hospital computer I WATCH NURSE JACKIE ! How is it not a proper computer generated prescription? So I have the hospital call cause I don't understand .
