We've come to this location a few times for COVID boosters for our family as it's one of the few places by us that offer the children doses and we've never had a bad experience. The only downside is that parking is very very limited and everything is one way with a very narrow path to get in and out of your parking spot. But once you've parked and are inside, it's nothing but positives. The staff here is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. The nurses do an amazing job at keeping our two young children calm while they administer the shots (all the free candy & books & toys don't hurt). We're really appreciative of how well they manage what is such a scary event for so many kids. The location itself is quite small and they are doing their best to maximize their space which means outside of the room where they give the shots, there isn't a ton of space to walk around or even shop between aisles. But that's fine. If you're here to just put in or pick up a prescription it shouldn't be an issue. And both times we've made appointments ahead of time so we didn't have to wait for long. So, if you're looking for a good, local, family pharmacy, look no further than Elements. It's been great and as long as our kids are young, we'll absolutely be coming back. read more

This was my first visit to Elements Pharmacy...but it won't be my last. I wanted to get a COVID booster. I have always gotten them at a pharmacy chain that is currently in bankruptcy and closing its stores so I had to look elsewhere since I wanted the Moderna version of the vaccine. Elements is close to where I live so I phoned them and was told they had the Moderna vaccine. I went there an hour later and was greeted by some very friendly employees. Lauren administered the shot and she did an awesome job. The atmosphere of the pharmacy is very positive and they also have some cool and unusual gifts. I highly recommend this place! As someone else mentioned who left a review, parking can be a bit tight but it's still worth going there. read more

The service here is exceptional. We've gotten a number of our immunizations here since 2020 and even when it was busier, everything has always been organized and efficient. Additionally, when you call for information, the person answering the phone is knowledgeable, informed, and actually helpful. I recently needed to get my mobility impaired, 84 year old mother immunized and they were so helpful in making the experience as easy as realistically possible. I am beyond grateful to their kindness. That and all the other times that we have utilized them have been positive experiences and I would highly recommend coming here. read more

Coming here to publicly applaud Elements Pharmacy. Yes, the customer service is truly remarkable. One time I was horribly late for my son's vaccine (after 6pm closing), and they waited for us. Who does that? Sherri is the owner. She's hands on in a very helpful and caring way. While waiting for my most recent vaccine, I overheard her giving directions to either an old man, or someone for whom English wasn't their first language. OMG she was so patient with him. Sherri actually was the one who administered my last vaccine, and she also took the time to give me online instructions for how to check for all the vaccines I've received. I love elements pharmacy. They feel like an old fashioned neighborhood pharmacy. Everyone there is profession, knows their stuff and, much to my delight, knows my name and greets me as a friend or valued customer every time I go in the store. Their communication with patients by text and email is excellent, with automatic refill reminders particularly useful. Customer service is fantastic, and there is an excellent and thoughtful selection of products in the store in case you need some OTC meds or want a gift or other impulse buy. They also do all of the usual Covid testing and vaccinations, and even have an in-house prescription program for birth control. During the pandemic, the store was a zoo, with testing and vaccines and social distancing and masks making everything super difficult. They also more than doubled in size during this time, and the construction was disruptive as well. Customer service suffered mightily, and I longed for the old days when they were a small shop. Now that the work is largely done and the onslaught of the pandemic has mostly receded, things have reverted to their pre-pandemic pace and service is back to it top-notch place. You couldn't get me to leave this place if you tried. 100% the best. read more

I LOVE ELEMENTS! I've received all my COVID vaccines here, including the latest bivalent version. Appointments are easy to make online, and you can fill out all the necessary forms online, too. The staff is always nice, helpful, and even when they're busy they're very efficient. They even answer the phone when you call with questions! The pharmacy itself has a thoughtfully chosen gift section with interesting items you don't find elsewhere. A great place to buy presents, toys, and even treats for yourself. Had a recently outstanding experience at Elements. Post surgery, needed to fill a prescription. Dr. called it in to CVS Sherman Oaks, but when we went to pick it up, we were informed that their "system was down" (for the past 5 hours) and they didn't know when it would be back up. They recommended Studio City. Had Dr. call CVS SC, whose pharmacist said they were overwhelmed and it may take a little while. Subsequent text informed me I could pick up my Rx in 2 days. Needless to say, this is not what you (nor your Dr.) want to be dealing with post surgery. Luckily my son remembered getting his Covid vaccine at Elements and having a great experience. He suggested we try them. Dr. called Elements and they filled the Rx right away. Husband picked it up, no problem. Friendly, helpful and they dealt with my insurance so there was no cost to me. What could be easier? In the future, I will direct all of my Rx's to Elements, and anything else that I might need. I haven't been into the store yet, but look forward to checking it out. I came here to get my second dose for my monkey pox vaccine. It definitely has the feel of a pharmacy. They do have some real cute items to browse while waiting. I can see myself coming back for any other needs. The parking is a bit tight but wasn't to crowded when I went. Friendly staff. I called them in the morning to inquire about both adult novavax and toddler Covid booster and they couldn't have been kinder. They booked me an appointment that afternoon. The nurse was so kind and gentle with my child and the best part was he got a free book for being brave. I also got my novovax vaccine which was a seamless process. Although ive lived close to Elements since it opened, I was getting my prescriptions from the chain pharmacies and big box stores, untill, Covid visited us in 2020. My job required me getting the vaccination or I could not go back to work. We looked online and saw the closest place to get one was at Elements Pharmacy in Studio City. This is a wonderful place across the board from services provided to consistently excellent customer service. I've used them mostly for Covid testing/vaccinations. They are also great at wrangling all types of customers and concerns (which can't be easy, day after day). One such all-star is Brian who helped me and my family today. He was very informative about questions we had concerning timing of testing and helping us troubleshoot some online errors we made. How does this pharmacy stay in business???? Backstory: The pharmacy I used for years was unable to fill my prescription due to supply issues. After reading the positive reviews on Yelp regarding Elements Pharmacy, I transferred my prescription over to Elements, after an initial inquiry and assurance by an Elements staff person that YES in fact they did have my prescription IN stock and it would be ready for pick up the next day. The following day I arrived to pick up my prescription and was informed that it was NOT available BUT they could "replace it" with another comparable manufacturer of the same prescription. In need of this medication, I agreed. However at checkout I was informed that this new manufacturer of the same medication was NOT covered by my insurance and it would be cheaper to pay out of pocket...which ended up being 5X the cost of what I usually paid. . In addition, the pharmacist thought best that I try the prescription for one month instead of the 3 month refill to make sure it agreed with me BUT wanted to alert me that the cost for the one month would be almost half of what they charge for a 3 month supply. To make this very long story a bit shorter, when I called to ask for a refill of the remaining two months of the 3 month supply, I was told that the remaining supply was needed for their "other clients" and unavailable for me to refill until a later date--(which they were not going to say or guarantee when that would actually be)?! Needless to say I was DONE and transferred my prescription to another pharmacy. Minutes after this transfer to the replacement pharmacy, I received a call from a staff member at Elements assuring me that they did have the rest of my prescription available for pick up NOW. I thanked them for calling but told them I would stay with the transfer option. SIDENOTE & FYI: The pharmacy that I transferred my prescription to from Elements, not only filled the prescription for next day pick up but ran my insurance and reported that YES in fact my prescription was covered under my policy! read more

From Start-to-Finish, EVERY ONE of the ELEMENTS Team we interacted with was Attentive, Organized & Efficient, Focused-yet-Friendly...they made getting our COVID19 Booster shots a Low-Stress, Positive experience. We'd driven past ELEMENTS Pharmacy for years...at the east end of one of the segmented strip-malls that line the south side of Ventura Blvd - directly across from CARNEY'S Studio City. Over the week of Nov. 15th my wife & I split research duties to I.D. pharmacies in a 10-mi. radius which: A: Had Booster doses of the MODERNA mRNA vaccine [CVS & Walgreens both said "Nope - NEVER stocked MODERNA"], & B: Had available 'Shot-Slots' in the next 10 days. RiteAid locations had all 3 COVID Vaccines - but NO slots til Nov. 20th (their web calender was a Cruel JOKE - you have to check dates for each store...and 75% of the times we found 'Supposed Slots', clicking that Date/Time found it "Unavailable".) The RiteAid "Walk-In between 2pm-3pm" option was another Cruel HOAX - their 20-min long 'Shot-Slots' comb'd w/ just 2 nurses could only handle 15 customers started with a Real PERSON answering the business' phone within 2 rings - confirming that they had open 'Vax Slots' as well as Walk-Ins read more

"The preservation of health is easier than the cure of the disease". Going out of the country can be scary, but even scarier is coming back with some sickness or disease. (I wrote this review before Covid) It's scary especially when they give you a list of vaccinations you need. Last year I went to visit Peru, and Thailand which both required vaccinations before my trip. Ironically I still got sick in Thailand but maybe it would've been worse if I didn't have my vaccinations. After calling around to different CVS pharmacies I was having a hard time finding some of my vaccinations that I needed and I came across Elements pharmacy. I was so happy to find them because they're awesome! Elements pharmacy not only had all the vaccinations I needed but also offers travel consultations so when you go out of the country you know what you need. They can help prepare you for a list of medications you might need depending on what countries you're visiting. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, a perfect combination to help relieve stress before a trip! Inside the store, they have super cute products so you're bound to pick up a few items or two. I hope Covid goes away soon so I can get back to traveling the world. Came on 8/11/22 to complete my daughter's Covid series. The first visit was 5 stars. Todays visit 1 star. First their intake for appointments is non-existent. Waited 45 min to be seen because they took in people out of order. Second they put an inexperienced pharmacist with shaky unsteady hands who clearly has never done IM injections on anyone let alone squirmy little kids give these Covid shots. Using 1.5" needles on babies! Any pediatric nurse would think otherwise. There was an office manager scoffing that I bothered him in the first place annoyed that I brought up a safety concern and just apathetically said he'll have to retrain her. What?!! She shouldn't be injecting squirmy little kids that are already screaming from fear of needles and she comes equipped with a very large needle meant for an adult. SMH!! A proper nurse manager with critical thinking would never put a newbie with kids. Extremely poor judgement by that office manager. Elements Pharmacy do better for your customers read more

I have had my covid tests taken here multiple times. I've never had any complaints. Everyone I've ever dealt with has been kind. Today was a frustrating visit. I made an appointment as usual before driving over. I saw that there were 2 cars ahead of me, so I patiently waited inside my car as usual. Three more cars then arrived, and those three people were attended to before me. I don't want to think that I was treated this way because of my race. But a woman walked past my car and went to the car after me. I sure hope they did not mean to prioritize white before Asian. Perhaps they need to come up with a better system so that they can honor the appointment system or at least follow first come first served. I hope this is an isolated case. read more

i made an appointment to get the new covid booster online and received frequent reminders leading up to the appointment. we don't live close, so we drove out there for the appointment only to be told they hadn't received the vaccine yet. i don't fault elements for this poor rollout. however, they know they have appointments that were made and have everyone's contact information and they chose not to contact people to cancel or simply cancel on their end so that a notification is sent out. we lost money bc of time off and gas that we don't have. we won't make the mistake of booking through them again but i hope moving forward they can keep up with the appointments they allow ppl to book. read more

I have only the most positive things to say about Elements. My son received both doses of the Covid vaccine and I received my booster at Elements. The website and scheduling system are easy to navigate and provide all of the information we needed to prepare for and complete our appointments. The staff is beyond compare. They are excellent with kids of all ages. They are friendly and efficient. When we arrived early for an appointment, the staff accommodated us and we are on our way in less than 10 minutes. I have recommended this pharmacy to everyone I know who needs to be vaccinated for Covid or other routine immunizations. They knew I was coming for the 3rd vaccine because I made my appt online 3 days prior. Got 7 reminders of the appt with strict rules of where to wait, how long to wait, how to make like easier for everyone. So, I arrange with with work to take the hour when I never ever ever take a lunch as I work in healthcare and treat post Covid patients. I get there, follow all the rules, and am now in the chair after fully checking in and what? The moderna vaccine was not taken out when it should have been so it is still nearly frozen so I can't get it. Look, I work in healthcare so I get mess ups. But this one I don't because you KNEW I was coming. You KNEW which one I signed up for. Now I have to lose MORE time at work on Thursday to go back in. This place does not respect people's time and effort and for that they get no respect from me. read more

This pharmacy had been a disappointment. When my neighborhood pharmacy closed in the beginning of 2020 I transferred my prescriptions to elements. I was charged much more then any other pharmacy but I filled them at Elements anyways until about May 2020. I prefer smaller pharmacies because I can actually talk to a human and I like the personal touch. I just feel that the pharmacists are not friendly at elements and do not care. When I came back to Los Angeles, in November 2020, after my work assignment out of town, my doctors once again sent In my prescriptions to elements. A day later I get a call from Carla telling me they are "full of patients and can't fill scheduled prescriptions"... "because of Covid, blah blah blah..." It seems anything that doesn't make sense these days is blamed on Covid.. I'm not taking pain medicines which she alluded to, and I explained not one of my diagnosis nor medicines are for pain...AND you have filled my prescriptions this year! What is the problem?! The majority of my meds are related to an auto immune disease...My physicians can send anything you need. Carla tried to put me on them phone with a pharmacist but they were busy so I was told I would get a call back. That was two days ago. Now I'm past the date of my refills, I can't get my medicine. These people are playing GOD and putting lives in danger... I pay $600 for health insurance and I've been on the same meds for 3 years. This is why our health system is a joke. Business like this that hurt people instead of help. This so called pharmacy should stick to selling over priced hand soaps, that's all they are good for. read more
