I have gotten several vaccines at Elements Pharmacy in Studio City. Everyone there cares and has up-to-minute information.

Got my Covid booster there last evening. It was well organized and clean. The lady that gave the vaccination was nice and friendly.

This pharmacy had been a disappointment. When my neighborhood pharmacy closed in the beginning of 2020 I transferred my prescriptions to elements. I was charged much more then any other pharmacy but I filled them at Elements anyways until about May 2020. I prefer smaller pharmacies because I can actually talk to a human and I like the personal touch. I just feel that the pharmacists are not friendly at elements and do not care. When I came back to Los Angeles, in November 2020, after my work assignment out of town, my doctors once again sent In my prescriptions to elements. A day later I get a call from Carla telling me they are "full of patients and can't fill scheduled prescriptions"... "because of Covid, blah blah blah..." It seems anything that doesn't make sense these days is blamed on Covid.. I'm not taking pain medicines which she alluded to, and I explained not one of my diagnosis nor medicines are for pain...AND you have filled my prescriptions this year! What is the problem?! The majority of my meds are related to an auto immune disease...My physicians can send anything you need. Carla tried to put me on them phone with a pharmacist but they were busy so I was told I would get a call back. That was two days ago. Now I'm past the date of my refills, I can't get my medicine. These people are playing GOD and putting lives in danger... I pay $600 for health insurance and I've been on the same meds for 3 years. This is why our health system is a joke. Business like this that hurt people instead of help. This so called pharmacy should stick to selling over priced hand soaps, that's all they are good for. read more

I recently moved all of my prescriptions there from CVS. What a breath of fresh air. Polite, knowledgeable, helpful for starts.

Elements Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I've ever used! The pharmacy is very clean and, along with meds, they have a good amount of beauty products and fun gifts. Parking is free and easy right outside front. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. I always feel welcome when I walk through the door. They always get my prescription together quickly and I've never had any problems with receiving the wrongs meds (which happened to me at CVS all the time). Whichever pharmacy you're currently at, I'd seriously consider moving to these guys - you won't regret it. read more

The customer service is caring and personalized. My baby daughter hated taking a prescription medication, and Elements worked with me to compound it in a different flavor. The pharmacist even coordinated with me by text after I told them that I often can't answer phone calls during my work day. When I came to pick up the medication he had me do a "taste test" to make adjustments. Sure beats the CVS experience! In the future I will have all my family's prescriptions sent here. Refuse to let you fill a prescription if you dont promise to only use them for any and all prescriptions. Refuse to give you your prescription if they cant look at your care plan and deem it worthy - as if they know better than your actual doctors. We went to fill one prescription - which we had been getting filled every single month at this pharmacy - so they knew to expect us - and they say they cant fill any more prescriptions for our med for another month because they gave out too much to other patients already that month and hit their limit (it was only the 7th). So they want to be our sole pharmacist - but hold our prescriptions hostage and don't pre-plan to make sure they CAN consistently fill our prescriptions... read more

This is the best pharmacy I had ever been in my life, they are kind, caring and very helpful and friendly. They will work with your doctor without complaining. I change 3 birth controls and they worked with me and my Doctor and They also gave good advice as well. they do care about your well being and comfort. Went in to get a flu shot, I was the only person in the entire pharmacy. It took nearly 30 mins for them to get to me. The person at the front was texting the whole time and when I followed up, she said "we're processing." Will never come back! read more

I'd give it less if I could. Scheduled a COVID vaccine, received confirmation, made a profile. I should up earlier than my scheduled appointment. The person giving the vaccines asks if I have an appointment. I said yes. She asks to see the confirmation, I show her, she asks if I I qualify I say yes. I'm an educator she asks for proof, I show her. Then states that there are no vaccines available . Why not lead with that?? Then she tells me it was cancelled. Says I received and email with the cancelation. I told her no I did not, I show her only emails confirming appointment in my emails. Then goes on to say she also called 2x's?? I pull up phone list of all calls I've received and of course their number isn't there . She then asks for my school ID. To which I say what's the point? There aren't any vaccines anyways. I am extremely impressed with this charming neighborhood pharmacy and the caring, friendly team that works there. Yesterday I needed to help a friend who had been in a serious motorcycle accident get a Covid test before his THIRD surgery which was only 48 hours away from happening. They told me to get there before 5:30pm and I would have the results within 24 hours. I showed up with my friend in my car -- due to his injuries he cannot walk except on a walker for very short distances and is in a lot of pain -- and Britney (I hope I'm spelling her name properly) arranged for the tester to come to my vehicle to administer the test. After the lovely Rebecca did the test, Britney even walked my purchases out to my car for me. Yes, I bought a couple of amazing skin products. Britney knew the inventory and each product line there like the back of her hand. She was not only knowledgeable but friendly and compassionate. I bought a couple of skincare treats for myself while I was in there based on her recommendations and feedback. The pharmacy is full of great product lines, skincare, traditional pharmacy stuff -- great selection of regular pharmacy goods and also high-end, cool skin and body care. I was super impressed -- it's actually kind of a fun place to shop! The team is so nice. They made my life easier yesterday with their kindness and helpfulness and their adorable pharmacy and I'm digging BIG TIME my vitamin c facial serum and face mask that I bought myself as a treat! Great pharmacy!! Our whole family switched from rite aid at the suggestion of a friend, at first I was nervous- rite aid knew my prescriptions, insurance...would this smaller pharmacy be better? Less expensive? I tried this pharmacy for the first time. I called about filling two prescriptions for my wife. Jennifer said they did not have them in stock but if I dropped off the Rx they would order it. I did that and filled out a form giving them my wife's information. I went home. A person named Sheri called me back and said they needed all of my wife's prescriptions or they would not fill the ones I dropped off. This is after they said "No problem. Having had experience with a variety of different pharmacies, I can say in all honesty, Elements Pharmacy is hands-down, the very best of the bunch, bar none! I'm currently being treated for Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, for which I take a lot of different medications. Even though I'm pretty diligent and methodical about keeping track of my meds, my previous pharmacy didn't even bother to put my maintenance meds on autofill, in spite of my repeated requests for them to do so, causing me additional stress and anxiety. Fast forward to Elements Pharmacy, opened recently by Sherri Cherman, who very kindly introduced me to Lead Pharmacist, Quynh Borkenhagen. Quynh and her team have been absolutely incredible! After I'd e-mailed her the comprehensive list of my medications, she immediately took the initiative and got right on it, keeping me informed and updated, via phone and e-mail, even having members of her team contact me in her absence. I was never, at any point, left wondering what was happening, as was the case with my previous pharmacist. In a nutshell, the comparison is 'Night & Day'! I am extremely grateful, and thankful to Sherri, Quynh and her team for taking a huge weight off of my shoulders, giving me some peace of mind, thus helping relieve my stress and anxiety. The top few things that keep me coming back: 1) convenience, 2) friendliness of staff, and 3) knowledgeable; and 4) accommodations (e.g., store decor and privacy of consultation rooms). I needed birth control asap, and it would have taken me 2 months to be seen by my PCP. That's when I found out that Elements' pharmacists can prescribe and fill my birth control in their store (all within 30 minutes). I met with Quynh (my pharmacist) for a birth control consultation where she went through my medical history (which I was able to complete and send via e-mail to save time). The ability to set an appointment with the pharmacist for a consultation ahead of time and the speediness in which they work are enough reasons to come back next time. As a bonus, the pharmacist was never too busy to answer my questions by phone or e-mail. I also found out they do consultations for travel medicines and vaccinations as well. (I am going to Thailand in 2 weeks, and going in for my travel consultation this Saturday.) This saves me the hassle/drive of going to my PCP for a prescription/vaccinations and then to the pharmacy for the medication. Again, the theme here is convenience! read more

The store is always clean, they have a lovely, helpful staff, there's great parking, and they go out of their way to have a reoccurring prescription available with a nice text reminder saying it's ready ... usually right before think about needing it. And there's a little table with activities for kids in case you need to wait, which wouldn't be long since there aren't lines like the big pharmacies have. read more

Walked in with prescription. Handed it over. Handed Kaiser insurance card and was told that elements does not take Kaiser. Which is understandable. Then without asking I was told Kaiser is only filled at Kaiser Permanente. Which is not true. But they stuck to their story faltering and stuttering they stuck to their story.
