For the past month or so, I've been searching for the Jurassic World collab at any of several, several 7-11 locations that I've been to. The most that I've seen is a Spinosaurus cut out, barely visible dinosaur donuts, and maybe those silly dino sunglasses for kids. So as a dinosaur pilled person, seeing the crazy promo for the movie at this location was really exciting and impressive. Aside from the dumpster side, there's art on each side of the building featuring the good ol' newly designed Spinosaurus, the movie's logo, and a giant Mosasaurus on top. Very impressive to look at, really wish more locations in different areas would do this. The parking lot itself is really limited, but you can always do street parking or at the plaza right next door. There's more decor and merch inside which is a huge plus as well. They have the 2 slurpee flavors for the movie (even though it's the same blue raspberry and red cherry, which is nice), Jurassic Park toys/blind boxes/Uno decks/etc., decor at the top of the aisles and the fridge doors, as well as commercials on their TV screens, limited packaging for their hot foods, etc. Lots of people were coming in for the decor and the workers there were pretty efficient and helpful (though a bit rushed, but understandable). read more

I've never thought I would ever need to write a review for a 7/11 but the same old man everyone is talking about in the reviews just yelled at me for entering the store when it's raining (it was barely sprinkling). There were two other men in the store that entered right before me and he decided to yell at the one woman who came in alone. I had walked away to what I needed to get, thinking there was no way he was talking to anyone like that, let alone a customer. As I walk towards the counter to check out, he begins yelling again. So angry that there are customers at 9:30pm while it's sprinkling. At that point, I told him I'm not buying anything anymore and drove off. I asked him about my change from my order and he then yelled at me and tried to take the money out of my hand and keep it, basically robbing me of my change due after my purchase. Upon arrival the clerk tells us they are closed, yet we witnessed 2 different car with customers enter the store and commence to shopping, we leave and return to check if they are still closed they are open we enter ask for condiments he yells at us and tells us there is no mustard for our hot dogs, he continues muttering in a language we don't understand. He was yelling hierarchically because he couldn't explain normally that the ticket was not a winner. He also didn't give my original paper for my lottery and he never gave it back and constantly yelled. I don't understand how the owner can allow such horrible workers to work there. I sincerely hope that measures are taken when customers are treated poorly. This individual addresses all women as "beautiful" but consistently treats me with rudeness and belittlement over a simple request a few creams ! I would give a 0 star if I could! The lady at this "in-convenience" location is a lier and has no heart! My father's favorite coffee is unfortunately 7-eleven... but no longer. For 30 years, he has been their committed #1 fan. This morning, he asked me to take him for our ritual 'father and daughter' coffee and donut stop. While there, my father pressingly had to use the bathroom. After I asked... then begged... then pleaded with her to allow my father who is 84 years old to please use her restroom, she refused. My father was so embarrassed; yet I knew if he did not use the restroom he would have an accident. I very kindly begged her one last time as we left... she said 'my boss will be mad at me'... she was the boss! We stopped by this location to pickup some snacks for our movie showing. Everything in the store was dusty and looked expired. Since were were tight on time we decided to buy our snacks anyways. Once we got to the theater, opened our snack everything was hard and staled. Nice staff, here! I've been in a number of times and the cashiers are always prompt and courteous. I've been helped by a guy a few times and by a woman once. This store has also always been clean and their snacks are a bit cheaper than the other convenience stores nearby. One time I had a coupon that their system didn't recognize. The male cashier called a lady out for help and they were able to figure out how to ring it up so that I could use the coupon. I really appreciate that this business takes different coupons that might not be theirs, but they are for the products that they sell. They also sell gasoline at this location and I've gotten it before without an issue. I don't really buy it from here though because I find it cheaper down the street. Every once in a while there will be a homeless person sitting by the entrance. I've never been bothered by them but it is very obvious that they are loitering and asking for change. I've seen this more when I've gone at night. Overall, this is a great store and very easy to get to because it's right on the corner of Alameda and Glenoaks. Thanks for the great service!! Walked in to shop with my friend. The cashier was an older oriental lady who would barely speak English. My friend tried on a hot pink sunglass as a joke and it was $4.99. We both laughed about it and she put it back. I paid for the shopping we went in the car the older lady came after me saying I didn't pay for the glasses ! I am so mad I asked for the owner's information. She didn't give me I asked for a manager she said it's only her and I am so mad they have cameras ! Cashier was so rude for absolutely no reason. They also charge a lot more than they should be because I was looking for arizonas and they were not 99c it was $1.49 which it's literally not even allowed. The food was okay but definitely could've been better if they took their store seriously. The store also felt off because it was dirty and dusty. Going off on the cashier again he was raising his voice at me and my brother while we're were only buying a few items. He was also pointing at the door before we were even done paying in a very rude manner, and my brother used his tapped his card on the card reader but I guess that didn't work and the cashier rudely pointed to put it inside of the card reader. Right after it transacted he immediately went on his phone. Somehow my brother decided to say thank you which was not deserved and the cashier did not say anything. I've been going to this 7/11 to buy tobacco products for the last year. The clerk at night is friendly, but the older day clerk with short hair has usually been pretty rude towards me. I look young and my skin is darker on my ID because of my ethnicity (mixed-Polynesian) so I always understand cautious clerks, but most recently he threw my passport back at me while repeating "This is not you" with no further explanation ... after I've been buying tobacco from here for a year! I thought he was joking at first, but it quickly became obvious that he was rejecting my identification because of the way I look. Completely unacceptable behavior. I stopped by to see if they had a small bottle of sweet sparkling wine. I went in and asked this question, and was told probably not but the wine is in the corner. So I went ahead and took a look. I was hoping for one of those mini bottles, since I'm just using this to make a salad dressing, but they didn't have it. I used to live up the street from this particular 7 Eleven and like everyone else, this was only visited upon necessity. My most recent visit consisted of just one employee who decided it was detrimental for him to help the man that was playing with his bingo scratcher. I guess it was impoortant for him to tell him how to either do it, or see if he won anything. I was there to pick up a few packs of cigarettes for my husband before heading out to a birthday dinner. Waiting....waiting....waiting..... Oh hi, can I help you? Yes, can I have two packs of your blue american spirit cigarettes? This is the most awful 7-Eleven I've ever been to. They totally scam their customers. I went to the store a few days ago and got an iced coffee. The lady at the register rang it up and then cashed out the register so it opened. It was a different price than what was offered on the advertisement outside. I mentioned that to her and then she rang it up again and it rang up properly. I went in today, and the man redid the price on my drink once I walk up to the register. He didn't even scan my drink. He rang it up for a more expensive price. I told him that it was listed as $1.49 on the advertisement outside and then I and that I had gotten that price two days beforehand. In the off chance you find yourself in Downtown Burbank needing to stop at a 7-11, avoid the one at the corner of Glenoaks and Cypress. I go there only out of necessity. One of the clerks always insists upon telling some form of dirty joke when you see him. First time I saw this guy I came in and he pointed at me and yelled, "Those pants!" I didn't know what to do about that. How do you respond to that? I thought of pointing back and yelling, "That shirt!" but I was afraid of what that would bring. Instead I just shrugged to which he told me he had a pair of pants exactly like those. I imagine he and I weren't the only two in the world with a pair of old jeans but I didn't want to disappoint him, it seemed to mean a lot to him. This guy also has a habit of "amusingly" making up prices at the register. He'll say a total is $150 instead of say, the actual total which is $3.50. He'll laugh then and point to the real price. The other clerk speaks nary a drop of English. First time I saw him I'm in there getting a Dr. Pepper and a hot dog. Well, I decided not to get the hot dog because it became obvious what an arduous task this would be. There's about 15 people in line while he figures out how to use the register. So he's struggling to get by and ring these people up and send them on their way. It's because of this I decide against the hot dog. It would've broken him, I think. So when I get up to the register I'm patiently waiting while the Dr. Pepper is being meticulously scanned and suddenly, in the front door bursts the homeless guy from outside, who pushes his way through the line and goes behind the counter. He proceeds to wash himself in the mini-sink: hands, arms, face. Every customer in the place, myself included, freeze and watch the scene with horror and disgust. One would think the clerk might put an end to this as it is no doubt setting a new record for health code violations. But no, much like us, the horrified customers, he freezes. Nary a word is spoken, nor a movement made. He just stands there, watching this guy do his mini-bath. He finishes up and leaves the store. We watch him go, silently. Then, as if this bizarre interlude had never occurred, the clerk finishes ringing me up and ushers me out the door. I go there recently and the fellow with limited english is standing over the sink eating a taquito. He sees me and continues to chow down on his taquito. I wait a moment, nothing happens. I have an ice cream and two lotto tickets and give them a small shove on the counter, just to give him a little hint, as if to say, Yeah, that's it...I'm ready. Finally, as if it pains him to have to do so, he comes over and starts to ring up my ice cream. I hand him the two lotto ticket forms and he runs them through the machine, then places them back on the counter. He manages to tell me the total for my ice cream and two lotto tickets: It's $15 and change. I pause--"Huh?" He mumbles something in no language I recognize and points to the total. "How much is the ice cream?" I ask. I look through the lotto tickets and find there's an extra one with several quick picks printed on it. "Oh, this isn't mine," I say and hand it back to him. "No, no," he says and pushes it back towards me. "Um, no," I say again and hand it back to him. "I didn't get this." I point to my lotto sheets and the show him I only have two tickets. "I don't know what this is," I say, handing him the many quick pick ticket. "Not mine." He takes the ticket, eyeballs it suspiciously, then hands it back toward me. I shake my head and put out my palms--"No, man--I didn't get this and don't want it." Then point to my two tickets and ice cream. "That's it. Just these." Finally, he sighs and sets the quick picks aside. He punches many a button on the register and the price is adjusted to the more reasonable total of $6.49. I nod, "Okay, thanks--cool," I say and reach into my wallet, retrieve $7 cash and hand it to him. I pocket my two lotto tickets and grab the ice cream. I stand prepared to receive my change. Nothing happens. He stands there as if everything is completed. I extend my hand ever so slightly. He stares down at my hand with a bewildered and somewhat concerned expression, and shrugs. I say, "My change?" he repeats whatever it was he just mumbled shakes his head, more in a confused manner than a refusing way. "Uh, I gave you $7," I point out. "Change?" Once more, the bewildered and concerned expression, followed by the head shake, shoulder shrug and unintelligible muttering. I give up, decide it simply isn't worth the trouble. I shrug right back. "Have it your way, dude." Leaving the store the homeless guy asks, "Hey man, you got any spare change?" "I don't," I reply and throwing a glance back into the store, I add, "but he's got an extra 51¢ in there." That should tell you everything you need to know about this 7-11. read more

I come here almost every day for coffee. They have the coolest set up where you can literally make it any way you want. Never had any issues with the staff. Also, there's a redbox machine outside that I use frequently. It is very convenient. read more
