Really disappointing customer service. I realized I had accidentally sent my photo order to the wrong store and simply asked the cashier how to resend it. She said she didn't know and immediately moved on to the next customer. After the manager stepped in to let me know to resend to the store, the photos still weren't printing. When I asked the cashier for help again, she dismissively said, "I'm helping a customer. You have to wait." I understand having to wait, but her tone and complete lack of effort to assist or call for backup were unnecessary; when she already knew the issue at hand. The manager was helpful, but the cashier seriously lacked basic customer service and communication skills. Cvs, do better in training your staff during the hiring process. read more

Came in at 4pm Thursday to pick something up and while I was standing there struggling with two kids, the manager and this younger b with long black hair was just standing there chatting with each other without a care in the world. When it finally became my turn, she was unfriendly and literally took forever to find my pick up order. No sense of urgency whatsoever. I gave her my first name. Last name. Order number. I had to give her everything besides my social security number in order for her to find it. Terrible. Go to Walgreens instead of wasting your time and money on this place that only seeks to hire teenagers who have already given up on life. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this location today regarding a 40% off coupon. I tried to apply it to a high-priced vitamin purchase, but the self-checkout system incorrectly applied the discount to a lower-priced "2 for $5" Powerade deal instead(even though it should only work on full priced items). When I asked for assistance to fix the error, the employee simply voided my entire transaction and walked away to help other people, leaving me standing there. This would not be the worst but the system required me to drop my physical coupon into the secure slot before the transaction was finished, so I couldn't even retrieve it to try again. I ended up leaving empty-handed and down one high-value coupon due to poor customer service and a lack of basic troubleshooting. read more

The pharmacy at the CVS , located at 1050 N. San Fernando Road , is the worst I have ever seen. They have the worst customer service of any CVS I have been to. The employees are rude and poorly trained. There is constantly a pile of med packages behind the counter. And I mean a pile as in packages on top of each other. The lines are always long and the staff are very slow. There is one in particular , named SEDA at the Burbank pharmacy, who is the rudest employee I have ever seen anywhere, let alone at CVS. I went in for an exchange on huggies but it was on a credit card and the supervisor Jerry said that he couldn't do because he needs the card. I then said can we just do an even exchange or put on a gift card. He said no. So I came back with my Husband and he did the return without the credit card! It just made no sense! But then I wanted to get huggies snug and dry as an even exchange as I had originally got two pack for $20. And he would not honor the deal as it was a defective item which is the reason of the return. And he was trying to charge me 13.99 and use my extra bucks as I had said if he was gonna honor the sale price and he still couldn't figure out what he was doing so I just left. Had to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy. It was 4:30p on a Thursday. The line was long and there was only one person working. "George" (aka Joshua) was the only person working. He ran two registers at one time, gave each customer personal service and smile. He was good natured, calm, calm, polite and respectful. These days it seem that service is lacking in customer service but George is the real deal. If there were more people like him the line would fly but at least he made the wait a little less by handling two lines at once and he made the wait bearable because of his positive energy and great attitude. Hopefully the managers see this and give him the kudos he deserves. read more

Absolute garbage location, primarily for the pharmacy whose staff could not possibly be less, competent, efficient, helpful or friendly. Easily 4 out of every 5 times we go in to retrieve prescription(s), it's not ready, or there is some other problem such as, the are 'out of it.' Regardless of the fact that we received notifications saying that it WAS there and READY for pick-up. It's convenient to our home, but today was the final straw and we will be looking for another pharmacy. I highly suggest that anybody else does the same. read more

I had the worst experience there yesterday (Sunday). I needed to exchange a brow pencil because I had bought the wrong color. I found the color I wanted and there was only one left but first I had to ask the guy to grab it for me because it's secured with these red locks (not sure how you call them?). But anyway a guy named I think OBE was there putting stuff on the shelves and he took the pencil to the cashier so I can find it later when I am done shopping around. Then I was looking at mascaras for a while trying to decide which one to pick. I found one I liked and I put it in my Trader Joe's bag. I also grabbed a nail polish. Put it in my bag as well. Then I was going to go and buy some eye makeup remover from Granier but the guy Obe asked me if I needed a basket. I said no thank you and he goes "well it does not look good on camera"!!!!!!! Oh I am sorry sir! I am not camera ready today! It's casual Sunday for me! Joke aside and after I was like what????? He pointed the camera in the corner and I realized he was kinda calling me a potentiel thief. I mean you do not need to be an expert in surveillance to see that my behavior in the store was not suspicious at all. Just a girl shopping for beauty items. Sorry not sorry for not wanting to carry around your heavy red basket. I brought my own paper bag because I do not want to buy a plastic one from your store duh! At first I thought it was funny then I started to become really pissed. I took all the items out of my bag and I gave it to him so he could put it back on the shelves for me because guess what, I am not buying all this anymore buh bye! Then I get in line because I still need to exchange that brow pencil. There is only one lady who is working there and she has to deal with a guy who wanted to do self checkout but of course he needs help because as we all know it never goes smoothly. Now there are 5 people waiting while she is encouraging us to do self checkout as well but nobody wants to do it because we do not work there. Then it's my turn. I think I will finally be able to exchange my brow pencil but the one I had picked earlier and that Obe brought to her has disappear. Are you serious? She calls him and he comes and he is trying to find it everywhere telling her he left it there without making eye contact with me or apologizing for wasting more of my time. They are looking for it behind the counter for a few minutes knowing it was the only one left. Then he decided he was going to go in the back to see if they have more in stock and left still without any eye contact with me again. I got a refund for my return and I did not wait for him to come back. I had wasted at least 20 minutes of my time and I was late now. To sum up, total waste of time and bad vibes ! :( read more

The pharmacy at this CVS is my primary. We regularly fill and manage prescriptions using the app. And they finally email receipts rather than clearing a rainforest's worth of trees for every receipt. However, half the shelves in the store section of this CVS are bare. You want kids medicine? Gone. You want bandages? Can't have 'em. Need to sooth yourself with some ice cream after striking out on everything else you came from? TOO BAD!!! Maybe, though, the shelves aren't bare. My aunt was very ill and unable to drive the distance she needed to in order to pick up her medication from a Kaiser pharmacy that was actually open on Saturday. I called several pharmacies to find out if meds could be transferred. This pharmacy was the only one that responded and helped me get this done. When I arrived to pick up the medication there was a huge line, they were very busy. Rita was the one who helped me, she informed me of the price of the medication and it was insane, I felt like crying. I just prayed, knowing this was life or death. I explained the situation to her and the pharmacist they went out of their way to make sure we were able to get the medication and afford it, they knew of discount plans that helped cover the price (due to it not being covered by Kaiser). Thank you to these angels for their help!! I still feel very emotional when I think of how they went out of their way to help us. God bless them! read more

The worst place around. Stay away. I went to buy just a over the counter medicine and the cashier asked me for my phone number. I always say no in any store (wallgreen, home depot, etc) to avoid receiving so many spam messages. The cashier insisted but I refused. Then he ask me for my ID. I'm over 50 years old, and told him that is not a prescription and he refused to proceed with the sales. Very mean guy. I went to other CVS store down the street, at the cashier I refused to give my phone and she proceed with the sales, no question asked. They should hire or train better people. read more

CVS is open 24 hours for emergency medicine. I was up on a 8 foot ladder at the top. I grabbed a lemon tree branch and it had bees in it. I got stung and it hurt. I pulled out the stinger and my hand began to swell up. The pressure in my finger and hand started to become very painful. I tried ice, water and elevation. Everything helped but the pressure was getting very painful. I went to CVS at 2 AM and it was open. The crew there was very nice and helpful. They told me where the generic Benadryl was and I got some. The pain and pressure would not let up. I took the Severe allergy medicine and within 1 hour I felt some relief. I was able to sleep and my finger was 65% better the next day. I am very thankful that CVS is open 24 hours. You never know what will happen and I was ready to go into the Hospital. read more

I'm a Burbank Target pharmacy guy (which, oddly, is also a CVS), so I can't speak to the pharmacy here (which always seems to have a long line. I wonder why those folks don't go to the CVS pharmacy at either of Burbank's Target Stores, neither of which ever have any lines. Oh well.) OK, back to this CVS, home of the ten-foot-long-receipt. It's got a lot going for it, so my vote is keep this one on your radar. The parking lot is huge, and has tons of other cool things in it, like a Starbucks, a Sprouts Market and even a Chop Stop. The CVS itself is also huge, almost like it's missing half the aisles (although it isn't). It just feels roomier and more spacious than most drugstores of this type. Two or three aisles alone devoted to snacks and candy, if you get my meaning. Yum. Excellent cosmetics selection that is sometimes staffed with its own beauty expert who will provide you with travel-sized samples! That long receipt usually has a few dollars off for your next purchase, which I believe can be used immediately. For the candy. See U at CVS. read more

The man in front of me needed a money order and I had a return. Couldn't the manager have done the transactions herself or called another cashier? We were waiting for ~20 min. Literally the worst CVS in the area. I'm shocked they are even open 24/7. whats the point if the night shift manager Robert has so much attitude with so little knowledge about anything in the store ? We went in at night to buy a CVS MADE product and asked him SEVERAL times to help and all we got was snarky comments, rude attitude and at the end refusal to help us. We even tried asking a different worker and he got involved saying he already told us where it is when the location he told us didnt even have a tag for such a product. Then when we insisted he look if its in stock he kept telling us he needs the brand name and we told him MULTIPLE times it's literally CVS as the brand. and at the end he said they don't have it and didn't bother to look it up... and guess what? they had the product on a different side of the store all along. he just didnt bother looking. I would rate 0 stars if I could. "I had a nightmare getting my prescription filled at CVS pharmacy on March 3, 2023. When I called the CVS pharmacy, no one answered the call and the pre recoded message was kept playing over and over again. I had to pick up antibiotic medication after getting my root canal done on March 3, 2023. I called the pharmacy 8 times to speak to someone at the pharmacy, but no luck with getting hold of a live person at the pharmacy. I had to call Rite Aid myself and spoke to the pharmacist there if they can fill the prescription because I need to take the medicine asap. Rite Aid pharmacist called the CVS pharmacy but he was not able to talk to anyone at the pharmacy either as no one answered the call. The Rite Aid Pharmacist told me I would be better off walking to the CVS pharmacy instead of keep calling them because they normally don't pick up the phone. His prior experience calling the CVS pharmacy was as equally bad as mine. I finally drove to the CVS pharmacy and there was a long waiting line at the pharmacy. When I reached the pick up line I was told they had to order the medicine because it was out of stock. I asked the pharmacist to transfer my prescription to Rite Aid pharmacy down the street. I gave him the Rite Aid phone number to talk to the pharmacy and he did. As I was driving to the Rite Aid pharmacy, I received a call from the Rite Aid pharmacist that he was not able to fill the prescription as the insurance had been already billed by the CVS pharmacy. As soon as I arrived at the Rite aid pharmacy I called the CVS pharmacy around 6:40 pm but no one picked up the phone. I even called the CVS store manager for help, but no use. I had to ask my daughter to drive to the CVS pharmacy while I was waiting at the Rite Aid pharmacy. My daughter left to the CVS pharmacy and finally talked to someone at the pharmacy when she got there. Around 6:50 pm she called me it should be cleared in the system. I asked the Rite Aid pharmacist to process the insurance but he said he could not as it was still shown as filled by CVS pharmacy in the computer system. I called my daughter back and told her to talk to the CVS pharmacy again. Apparently no one knew they had to reverse the medicine out of the billing system. After waiting 5 more minutes, the Rite Aid Pharmacist finally was able to fill the prescription and bill the insurance. What a wasting time ! My daughter and I wasted 2 hours getting the prescription filled and we both were exhausted when we got home after picking up the prescription. It was a horrible experience getting my prescription at the CVS pharmacy. The entire system of getting the prescription filled at the CVS pharmacy seemed out of control as it was impossible to get a live person at the pharmacy and no one knew what they were supposed to do. What a difference I have seen at the Rite Aid pharmacy ! There was no waiting line at the Rite Aid. I was wondering why people had to put up with the chaos created by CVS pharmacy. It's a day and night since I transferred all my prescription to Rite Aid Pharmacy. I am so happy I don't need to deal with the CVS pharmacy anymore as I have changed my pharmacy to Rite Aid. CVS Burbank wasn't on my mind. I wanted to stock frozen food, cereal and milk, but plenty people wearing masks waited for the Sprouts groceries... I walked into CVS instead. I picked some usual personal care. And then, 4 boxes cereal, 2 canisters dry fruits, week of beverages/water, face mask, idk what else... They ran out of the shelf coconut milk. The shelf almond milk was like $2.20 more than what I usual pay at the grocery store. So, I didn't get any. The lotto scratchie machine was broken. This guy had money in pocket, put it all the machine and bought 1 $30 lotto scratchie in February 2020. He won $10-million from that machine. My life could use some luck. That machine better be working next time I go in there... Pffft. This CVS had plenty stuff. I'm indecisive. I couldn't find things. I asked. Helpful staff. And I didn't buy the Pandemic Skittles.
