Came here to fulfill a prescription and the nice young lady who took my script was a total sweetheart. People obviously are not coming to get medicine because they are in the best health and a little good service goes a long way. Enter the actual pharmacist. She was slightly stocky with long dark hair and a loud voice. Loud enough that she was yelling everyones perscription to the room. I now know the lady in front of me has anxiety and some sort of bacterial disease and the guy behind me is diabetic and depressed. Great job lady. Luckily I didn't have anything embarassing to fill, or else I would have been pissed. Walgreens - talk to your employees. I would not recommend this pharmacy for Covid 19 vaccinations. The customer service is terrible. I did not feel good about taking my son there. I wish I had waited for an opening at another location. If they are unprofessional in one are, it makes you wonder about other areas. read more

This place has a drive thru and that is great but it doesn't help if they don't know how to run your express pay or if they tell you it is not on your account. I have had to go in this place everytime i go and really it defeats the whole purpose of having a DRIVE THRU! The staff is not very helpful and i had an argument with the pharm tech when she told me she wasnt going to re-run my prescription on express pay. UGH! I'm disabled & have been a pain management patient since 2008 when I was hurt. I just moved back to Burbank & took my scrips to get filled. After the pharmacist looked at my scrips she said it would take her 3 weeks to get it which I know is a lie because I am taking two of the most common pain meds used in the world ! All she would have had to do was look me up in there computer & see how long I have been these medications. I will never go into a Walgreens again ! FYI don't treat people like there stupid. My friend gets meds at this one & he has never been told to wait 3 weeks & he gets one of the same pain medications! Its sad to think that they would lie to a disabled person ! Wow to think that Discrimination still runs against us disabled people that need our medications to half way live a normal life ! This is a small Walgreen store and that is the reason I love coming here, it feels like independent community pharmacy. The pharmacists Marguerite is very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and I do not wait long in line or on the phone. They provide many services (e.g. flu vaccines, blood pressure check etc) that I would pay for if I saw my medical doctor. I am not a big fan of chain stores but this pharmacy is an exception, they treat you very well and spend the time to make sure you leave a happy customer. read more

They got it right, and it was ready when I showed up. They had to correct a mistake, wherein they forgot to fill one of the prescriptions (two visits in a row) - but this was corrected in under 5 minutes. By the third visit I no longer had this problem Compared to Right Aid and CVS - this is remarkable. I have waited hours at these other pharmacies, and they always forgot one of my orders or changed a prescription to generic without asking. Due to COVID pandemic, I had called couple of Walgreen in the neighborhood regarding my Single shot. Others were not helpful at all by telling me to check back in one month, then another month. I decided to call this Walgreen -- Sandra who answered my call was very Courteous, friendly and helpful. She took my name, contact info and put me on the waiting list. I got my shot in couple weeks. Hello Walgreens... I hate you! Well then, now that we've gotten our pleasantries out of the way. Oh how I wish you could give no stars, or even NEGATIVE stars. Yes, they definitely deserve negative stars. Allow me to spin a little tale for you. Once upon a time there was a girl who had lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. She is quite unhappy to have been stricken with these terrible diseases at the prime of her life, but that's a whole other story. Due to the fact she is sick though, she needs medications. Some of those medications are, strangely enough, PAIN medications. Imagine that. Well I was able to get them quickly & easily for 2 whole years, no problem... until head pharmacist MARGUERITE came to town. Out of nowhere one day she freakin' BLACKBALLED my husband & I from the pharmacy! She went so far as to ask us what our diagnosis' were & why were we taking the medications that we did? Um, hi? Have you ever heard the term "None of your fk'n business"??? And even though I gave in & explained my illness she still "flagged" my medications one night when I was out & was supposed to be able to pick them up saying she wasn't going to give them to me "until she got a hold of my doctor." Yes, a pain med I'd been on prescribed by my doctor for 2 years straight she withheld putting me into withdrawl & insane amounts of pain :( And then when she finally DID get a hold of my doctor who validated my need for what he prescribed, she still wasn't satisfied. She gave us both our different medications (remember, this happened to my husband too) and informed us "they would no longer be serving us & we could find a new pharmacy". WTF?!?!?! I still have yet to contact Walgreens corporate offices, but I do plan to. I'm absolutely in shock. Our doctor says sometimes pharmacists take their personal beliefs into account... that some won't even distribute birth control pills. But this is a totally different thing! What did we do wrong that caused her to treat us that way?! It's truly insane. So now we have to drive across town to the nearest drive thru CVS. Completely inconvenient but luckily, they don't think they're GOD and try to decide who needs what and what doctors orders they should question :( Should anyone who reads this feel like calling, writing corporate, or even just walking in & yelling at Marguerite on our behalf... please feel free. Also go ahead and boycott Walgreens. If it can happen to us, it can happen to you. Screw them :( read more

Everyone knows Walgreens. When you see one, you just have to stop! This time I really did have to stop. I had a killer headache and I knew they would have what I needed, plus I like to look at all the impulse stuff they have. A nice young girl came out from behind the counter on her way to her break ( I only know this because I heard her say "I'm going on my break now"), but before she exited the store, she asked if I "needed help finding anything?". Of course I said "no" because I found what I needed right away, but kuddos to her for customer service while on a break! Tiffany, was her name I believe. Even the pharmacist looked over the counter and asked if I had any questions! This wasn't my usual hours long trip to Walgreens. This was just a pharmacy and basic drugs (DUH to the person with the negative comment about it.. Look at the size of the place!). I still give this place 5 stars because what they lack in normal Walgreens selection, they definitely make up for it in customer service! read more

I'm not sure who the pharmacist was but I got there at 8:58pm and they close at 9. I know they want to go home after a long day but I just needed to pick something up over the counter. It probably would have taken 30 seconds to get the item and give me my change, but she refused to do so and kept saying sorry we close at 9, we close at 9. I rode my skateboard all the way there to so it wasn't just a drive down the street for me and when I mentioned that she still didn't sympa. The store is still OPEN mind you! I use the drive thru pharmacy. The lady who took my prescription was a sweetheart. The process was fast and efficient. She saw my hospital ID Band and figured I was just discharged and was in a lot of pain. She had my medications ready in no time! Great costumer service. read more

One year later and they are still changing our prescription for a name brand to a generic without asking us first. Every time we come to pick up the meds, we see that they are generic, we ask them for the name brand, and they ask us to come back later to pick them up. When we come back later they give us the meds and we discover that they are STILL generic without any explanation. Just came back 7 days later...they did it again. read more

Very impersonal. They used to be very accommodating but the past 4 times I have tried to get perscription filled, they didn't have the medication or there was some other reason they couldn't fill it. Took my business to Dana Drug where they were extremely nice and ALWAYS have the medication I need. read more

I have the most unpleasant at this Walgreen, especially Amy, pharmacist, who does not know anything!!! My insurance co-payment is $25 for 5 bottles of insulin. She's trying to tell me it will cost $75, insurance only giving me 1 bottle for 30 day supply, if I want 5 bottles, it would cost me $75. Do they even know what they're doing???? Is unfortunate I had to deal with someone who's so incompetent? And their service sucks, there's no one there to help!!!! read more

Drive thru is convenient. Keep in mind it is tiny and a pharmacy not an actual store. I love that is close by and has a drive thru. The employees try their best to be quick and friendly but I can get really busy at time. I also always get my flu shot here read more

The staff was fine - it was the fact that I had made an appointment to receive a chickenpox vaccine and then when I arrived, I was told that they didn't have it. In fact, they said no one had offered that vaccine for at least a year. That's really more a reflection on the ineptitude of Walgreens' website versus the physical store. You wouldn't expect them to advertise phantom vaccines, or allow you to schedule appointments to receive said vaccines. So... just make sure you call the place ahead of time and confirm that they actually have something before wasting your time. read more

I am a long time customer of Walgreens Drive Thru at the corner of Magnolia and Buena Vista. My Diabetic dog is also a long time customer. She cannot talk so we have to guess when she has a problem because of the Diabetes or because of pains she has because she is 15 years old. She needs to take pain pills and because of my bad back I have to take two very strong pain MEDS that have added paper requirements. With all that most people would wonder what is going on at my house with all these restricted pain MEDS going to the same house but not our wonderful pharmacist MARGUERITE. She has never questioned any of this and has even on occasion come out to visit my little darling CASEY. I know it is my dog not me but MARGUERITE is GREAT PHARMACIST in my books and I know CASEY says the same. Walgreens - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING MARGUERITE AT MY WALGREENS. read more

This Walgreens location has been my go to pharmacy for years. Every month I drop off my prescription at this location to be filled with no problems - the staff has always had great customer service with little wait time. That all changed today. I dropped off my regular monthly prescription - like always the gal at the front was very nice - let me know that my medicine was in stock and that it would be a few minutes. A couple of minutes later she informed me that the new pharmacist would not fill my prescription for reasons I have never heard. I called my doctor's office while I was in the store and they informed me that they have never heard of such "policies." When I asked the pharmacist when these changes took effect he was very rude and unwilling to take time to explain why exactly he wouldn't fill my regular prescription - all I got from him was this is how it has always been. Funny enough I went to another Walgreens pharmacy that I have never been to and they were able to fill my prescription with no issues in about 10 minutes. It's too bad this pharmacy made changes - their past pharmacists have been amazing - this guy not so great. Sad to say after all these years I will not be returning to this location because of the disrespectful way he (pharmacist) addressed me. read more
