CAUTION: My Mom left crying! Today on, April 15 2022, my mom went in to show the pharmacy an opened bottle of medication they gave her. This is the Second time my mom has received her Thyroid Medication that's supposed to be sealed from Manufacturer, opened. After the first incident, she respectfully requested to obtain a sealed bottle direct from the manufacturer and yet, this happened again. My mom routinely picks up her meds and as usual this pharmacy bills her insurance. She took it home and when she finally opened the bottle, the seal had been completely tampered with and opened. (See pic) She isn't going to risk her life ingesting pills out of an opened bottle not knowing if anything is wrong with the medication. The Pharmacist dismissed my mom and made her pay out of pocket for a second NEW UNOPENED BOTTLE of medication. Since this is the second time and she's paid out of pocket twice , I plan to report this because I don't believe it's right for a Pharmacy to bill insurance and take her $90 copay for tampered medication AND then charge her a second time for a nontampered unopened bottle of medication that cost her $142.60 (receipts on hand). There was no corrections made, no apologies, no investigation in to the opened bottle they gladly gave her in the beginning of April. Yet, there was no hesitation in having her pay solely out of pocket, an additional $142.60 today because the Pharmacist said she cannot do anything. It is unbelievably frustrating to pay twice for the same medication within a few weeks! This practice is unheard of and a patient shouldn't leave in tears over her medication. I am going to look further in to this and do my best to make sure this doesn't happen to other clients. For dismissing my mom's concerns and handing her tampered medication to begin with, then getting paid out twice, one star is the lowest I can give. They should have taken the opened bottle back and investigated with their tech/pharmacy/ manufacturer instead of getting paid twice by my retired mom that's getting by on social security. This pharmacy got paid by insurance plus her copay for a bad bottle of medication that they take no responsibility for and, instead, made her pay out of pocket again to receive a sealed bottle of her medication. This definitely needs to be posted. Consider going elsewhere for your meds. If you decide to come here, BE very CAUTIOUS & OPEN/CHECK your bottles in front of them before you pay & sign! We are trying to see what recourse we will take. read more

Before I begin, my mother and I have been coming to this CVS location since it opened. We always get really good assistance and customer service from Janet, Carmen and Elly. The reason for the one star (and I'm being very generous) is in regard to Young In Yun. The worst customer service from a pharmacist. She was rude to my mother and myself for simply asking questions about their system. Don't know how CVS managed to hire someone like that given that pharmacists are there to assist customers with ANY questions. Young in Yun, you're not doing us a favor --it is part of your job. Young In Yun = RUDE Young In Yun = RUDE Young In Yun = RUDE and for the record... Young In Yun = RUDE So Young In Yun, before you hide behind your tall counter with the attitude that you're doing us a favor, buy yourself a personality with a side of customer service. If not, perhaps you shouldn't be a pharmacist. Not using this CVS location anymore. I have been a customer, and Janet has been my pharmacist, since the small Target opened years ago on Hollywood Way. I receive personal, thoughtful service here that feels exceptional. No other pharmacy location I've visited in LA has met the standard that Janet and her staff have set. From the first visit, Janet has known my name, jumped in to expedite my visit when her staff was helping me, worked diligently to keep the costs of my prescriptions down (even while I've had multiple and confusing insurance changes through this time), tracked down my doctors who aren't always easy to get on the phone, made communication easy when I wasn't feeling very good after dental work that left me not wanting to talk very much, and treated me with respect. This is a big town and you get used to feeling anonymous while running errands and stopping in stores and getting helped by a rotating cast of random associates, but what Janet and her team do here in this tiny bit convenient CVS location is the exact opposite of that. It feels the same as visiting the local pharmacist in the small town where I grew up. This place is so appreciated, and I've had my friends all switch their prescriptions there and everyone has told me they have the same great experiences that I have had. This CVS is an outstanding example of a positive experience in the Burbank area! read more

Considering the horror stories I've heard about other CVS locations in Burbank, and my hit-or-miss experiences at other CVS and Rite-Aids, I feel quite lucky to have found this one right in my neighborhood! In my experience coming here the past six months or so, the staff is friendly, efficient and accurate. The only downside is the somewhat limited hours, so I'd have to go somewhere else if I had an emergency or other need to pick up prescriptions in the middle of the night...or even early in the night! Also be aware of the hour they're closed for lunch each day. read more

The pharmacist and tech were so helpful in getting us the medicines we needed and to make the process of getting shots an enjoyable one! The Target store is the smallest I have seen, but we were still able to find what we needed. The staff were all helpful and friendly! read more

They have a sign about the covid 19 vaccination at the cvs inside this target. When I asked a couple of simple questions the pharmacist was rude and acted annoyed that I was even asking. Don't post a sign then. read more

The pharmacy has the worst customer service. I waited on hold for over thirty minutes for the person on the other line to tell me they aren't willing to help me find medication for my 2 year old child. 1 star is too many stars to give. read more

The pharmacist is so caring and professional. She knows you by name and knows your meds. During this difficult time, she personally helped get all of my prescriptions set-up on mail order for immediate delivery. This staff is a throwback to kind and personal service. They called my doctors office to fulfill my prescription since I was a five minute drive away and it didn't transfer fast enough. Management need to retrain these toddlers. Poor customer skills. Never smile and looks at you like as if you owe them money. I asked very politely if they still carry an item I usually get and they rudely reply back "NO". Not even "I'm sorry we don't have that or we're out at this moment". "Covid-19" post: After searching high and low for toilet paper at about 20+ locations (grocery stores, smaller markets, etc) this location had TP!!! And they did it the right way. You stood in line, they rationed one package, and that's it. Thank you for making something like toilet paper the highlight of my day. read more

CVS as a company should relook at what customer service means. When you call over 24 hours in advance for product, the pharmacy should take care of the order. Very unhappy with how CVS takes care of there customers. read more
