This is a very large store where you can truly find everything: clothing, shoes, bags, and suitcases. It also offers a wide selection of home and kitchen essentials -- frying pans, pots, and various kitchenware. There is also home textiles such as bed linen, blankets, and pillows. The assortment is very diverse, and this is what I genuinely love about this store -- you can always find something useful at affordable prices. However, despite all the advantages, there is a significant downside -- very long checkout lines. There are not enough cashiers, which makes the service quite slow. Today I went in just for a frying pan and a milk frother. I quickly chose what I needed, but had to spend a long time waiting in a huge line. It would be great if the store added self-checkout machines or a express checkout lane for customers with small, quick purchases and no large carts. I was hoping to update my review and end up giving this store five stars. Oh man! Price coordinator/ cashier Armineh is very unprofessional and rude. I had couple of items which were on sale. She started lecturing me on how Marshalls has new policy when it comes to sale items. She was talking to me in a rude tone of voice. It sounded like she was lecturing me. Please be aware when visiting this store, you might get lectured by this lady. This store has a huge selection of merchandises in a decent price. It also has really nice seasonal items to purchase. Marshall's is basically controlled chaos. I don't particularly like going in the store because of the crowds that are usually in there, but the store is laid out well, and they stock a lot in a small footprint, and if it's not a chaotic time of year like Christmas, they do a remarkable job of keeping the store straight and neat despite the slovenliness of a majority of their customers. You won't always find what you need, you will generally find some stuff you can't pass up for the price, but overall everything they have in the store is a pretty good value. read more

Dropped by on a Tuesday evening to quickly browse and purchase a few items. I hopped in line to pay, and the cashier was very kind and patient as I attempted to first make a return. For some reason, the email barcode was not working, so she called her supervisor over. Unfortunately, the supervisor was rather dismissive and scolded me for trying to make returns so close to closing. After a few more unsuccessful attempts to scan the barcode, I let them know that I can just make the returns another time. Overall, I still am a fan of Marshalls, but I was disappointed by the attitude of the leadership at this location. read more

I just made my final trip to Marshall's following a visit to return a product someone purchased as a gift for Christmas. Unfortunately I was shipped the gift from the gift giver and they didn't include a receipt nor could they find it. Luckily the Marshall's price tag was still on the item, so I figured this should be simple enough. Upon visiting the store, the line was ridiculously long and they only had 5 of 10 cashier stations open. I almost didn't wait, opting to come back another day. But I decided that I should just get this done since I was there already. So after waiting in line for 25 minutes, I was told by the cashier, "sorry, but we do not return holiday merchandise." I replied, "I'm sorry, what?" "It's our policy to not return holiday merchandise." So I just threw it into their trash by the front door to not have to deal with it anymore. What a waste of time and gas that trip was. I'd not have waited if I saw any indicators that they do not return holiday merch. I previously loved shopping at Marshall's and their affiliate companies for my kids and housewares. I think I spent a total of $4500 - $5000 there last year. But that was my last trip to any of these stores due to their cashier's inability to express empathy as a human being. For what it's worth, I was polite and didn't become belligerent during our conversation. Rather, I became increasingly upset over time the more I reflected back on the exchange I had with their staff and the more I realize Marshall's was scamming shoppers into buying landfill junk that's not returnable. Sales associate named Armine is unprofessional and rude and thinks she can make up her own store policy when they are clearly stated on their website. Her manager seems to be scared of her so she was no help either. I've Been shopping Marshalls for 10+ years with no issues but this by far was the Worst Marshalls experience I've ever had. Absolute worst marshals location. First of all it smells like a hospice home when you walk in and throughout the store- I strongly suggest wearing a mask. An elderly person used a very congested isle simply to fart in but it smells like the whole store is expiring. The deals everyone speaks of are non existent. Everything is overpriced for looking like only someone in their late 80s would wear it. And the line is excruciatingly long. I've been in theme park lines shorter than this. I wish I was joking. I love Marshall's and go to various locations and have to say this is literally the worst one. Mid par stuff to find here that's not my problem. I had purchased a couple items and I went to home and proceeded to unbag my items when I noticed there was a item missing. I called the store and this lady came off rude when I thrived to tell her I was charged for a product and didn't receive it she blatantly tells me to bring the receipt and and hangs up on me Upon arriving again I let the tallest guy know about my problem ( he's probably a manager since he was sending people away from cash registers and paying cashiers for missing their breaks) ( YIKES) anyways... he doesn't help me he proceeded as to help out this girl purchase he seems to be flirting a lot with her asking about her tattoos and travel. He takes 20 minutes extra just making sure she's checked out and THEN I'm finally worth helping....he didn't have my product in the registers and when I go to show him the same IDENTICAL PRODUCT in the aisles he shows me the price and it's ALREADY $1 more than what I paid for. He tries to tell me that he can make it work since the inconvenience but I did let him know it's the same product just didn't have the same price ( same code rang up once the receipt printed and yes I have both to compare) so to finish this long rant I was helped after the inconvenience was noticed but not before getting hanged up on and flirting with a customer read more

My wife wanted to stop by here when we were in the shopping plaza at Target. I can't even recall when was the last time I step into a Marshall. When we walked in, I was surprise by how organized and clean the store is. It's basically like Target because it has the same stuff just different brand. My wife was looking at their shampoo options and other stuff. I was just browsing around the store while waiting for me. The store was somewhat busy but it wasn't too bad. I didn't see any self checkout station here so you'll have to wait in the good old checkout line. read more

I LOVE this Marshalls! Not sure why it only has 3 stars. I have been going to this location since it opened and always find great deals and clothes in XS that actually fit me. The staff is very friendly and with the latest Covid regulations allowing only 20% capacity, they are all working very hard to keep the store extremely safe and clean for their customers. If you still have some last minute Holiday shopping and prefer going in store like myself, you will find something for everyone on your list, I promise! The store is well stocked with clothes, accessories, beauty items, exercise items, home goods, and more. I found great stocking stuffers as well. FYI It is opened right now for the Holidays at 7:00 AM. I got there around 9:30 am today and was able to go right in. On my way out I noticed a line was forming. *During the weekend I would suggest getting there early. Last weekend the line was very long. This is my happy place all year long!!!! read more

I normally love Marshall's, but this one was a let down. The store seemed cramped and messy. Lots of clothes were just tossed all over the place. The cosmetics section had lots of eyeshadow pallets for a good price- but every one I looked at had been smashed. I ended up just being frustrated, and only bought a face cream as a gift and a Free People top that was actually quite cheap. Line up to cash out was long and slow. This location is full of gems and deals. There is usually staff stocking shelves and available if you need any help - they have an impressive bag section as well as makeup and beauty products. They have name brands like Nike, Kopari, Steve Madden, Chi, Philosophy, Batiste, Truly, etc. I haven't found anything super high end, but a lot of good quality mid-range brands you'd find at Sephora or the local department store for much less. Rude and/or poorly trained staff On 2/09/2023, I purchased a small electronic device from this Marshalls; sadly, when I got home and opened the blister packaging it did not work. So the next morning I returned shortly after they opened to inquiry about a replacement or refund was possible. The confused clerk flee her post without a word and returned with, presumably, her manager/supervisor. The manager rudely informed me that the package was opened so she could not restock now. "It doesn't work, so you shouldn't be restocking anyway and, if you did, the next person will just bring it back too. I'm not returning because I don't want it; I'm returning because it doesn't work. If you have another (which they didn't) I'd be happy with an exchange." She continued to drone on about how it was opened so she could not restock and sell it to next unsuspecting victim that fell into your den of defective and substandard products. I continued to rebuttal that it was broken and she should not be selling it to anyone After a several minutes of redundant exchanges, at 10:00:02 AM of 02/10/2023, this Mensa candidate of manager announced she'd make a "one time exception" and issue a refund...for the defective piece of cr*p that didn't work. No apologizes for selling broken products or my inconveniences of having to return to the store, just a snotty attitude of "I'm doing you such a favor you should kneel down and thank me." This Marshall's is clearly subpar. I went in not only did it feel like I was in a soup kitchen trying to check out because of the giant line but the employees were rude af. This woman bumped into me several times while I was in the checkout line and didn't even say sorry. As she walked off clearing other spaces she kind of just nudged people out of the way without excusing herself at all. If she's going to be so rude they should place her in a role where she doesn't have as much interaction with people. Why they have a Marshall's AND TJ MAXX right next to each other is baffling to me. But of course, after visiting TJ MAXX, i found myself waking next door to see basically the same stuff. Apparently they are sister stores, but have different SCU's. Pretty much the same set up. They carry a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Prices on name brand labels are lower because they are generally last season items, have been returned, or slight flaws. Always check item thoroughly. Just seems like these discount stores are getting more and more expensive. You used to get a great deal. Now,I feel like I'm rifling through more and more crap and feeling ripped off. Located in the Empire Center. Ample parking but it's chaos. Hoping once the freeway and new road work is complete, this place may be more easily accessible. Can't say one store is better than the other, but I don't see myself looking in both stores again unless I'm on a mission. My complaint is the check out line. I don't have an answer to how to make this better. The gauntlet of crap is overwhelming. But I do appreciate it's one line, even though seeing the long line can be off putting, I know if it was all separate lines, I'd inevitably pick the one where the old lady is paying in change, can't find her coupon, needs someone to price check and forgot her bag. So... yea. Probably is a good idea to keep the single line with multiple cashiers. Not one of the most efficient and well stocked Marshall's but if you have a couple of hours to spare, I am sure you'll come out with some steels! It's just after the holidays and New Year festivities so this place is a bit of a mess. I can already see a bunch or returned items back on the floor. The line here is looonnngggg and not the most efficient staff attending to it. It's probably my last time coming here; I'll save my Marshall's visits for their WLA location. We specifically came in for the men's clothes as my hubby is traveling and needed a few items. They have two men sections: regular men and "big and tall". The racks are depleted and the items aren't really organized well in terms of brand, function (dress vs sporty). It's just a hodgepodge of stuff. We spent far too long here and came away with two sweaters. The line waiting was another story. At other locations, just as soon as the line reaches the entry point, they call for backup. Nope, not here. They have random employees just dilly dallying behind the registers. I don't know, not my favorite. I have to say that this is one of the best Marshall's I have ever been to. I've gone a few times and was there less today at around 11AM so it was busy, but not as busy as say going at 12. The store itself is well organized, and you don't see too many boxes in cosmetics that someone stole the product but left the box. The biggest plus with this store is that they seem to regularly have plenty of people working at the registers. When I went to stand in line, there were at least 10 people ahead of me, but the line moved quickly. Maybe 10 minutes of waiting which isn't too bad. I tried doing that not too long ago at a TJ Maxx in Granada Hills, and they had like 3 registers open. read more

Fell in love with this coffee table which complemented my brand new furniture in the house. However, quickly noticed scratches along the uncovered metal legs with the paint off. Then started to notice small dents along the surface top as well. I asked the manager Helen if they had a new piece to give me & she said no. Since this piece was not in a new condition & looked more like a floor model I asked her if I could receive a discount for the damages. She refused. I honestly don't mind paying full price for a NEW item in excellent condition. I mean that is why you buy new things. I truly feel that Helen the manager should have taken these defects into consideration as I no longer was purchasing a new item in pristine condition.
