I really like the variety of lotions, candles, body care, wallflowers and air diffusers in this store. Especially during the holidays, they have so many choices that it's hard to pick one. Customer service, I never had any issues or bad experiences. I am always greeted by staff and were helpful when asking for help. They are friendly and offer baskets for items. This store is always clean and well maintained. Staff try their best in keeping the store clean. This store is my to go place when it comes to holiday shopping. I enjoy Bath and body Works products in this location is pretty convenient if you live in Burbank. They have sales throughout the year, so it's rare that you should be paying full price for their products. I put a four star because most of their scents are constantly changed throughout the year. So if you enjoy more citrusy, smells, those are all gone by the fall and replace with things like pumpkin and peppermint for Christmas. I wish they would have more citrus smelling staples throughout the year. read more

The employees working at the store are very friendly and they walk around so if you need any help, you'll be able to find them. I stayed here for around 20 minutes, but I honestly feel like you could spend hours in here. Some of the scents are honestly kind of bad, but some are awesome, so it's really just about finding what you enjoy. The laundry and minty/tea scents smell bad to me but the fruity citrusy scents are great. They have plenty of Try Me samples of body cream, lotion, and perfume cards. The customer service and staff was good, and they greeted us and checked in with how we were going periodically. We came in because we had a free body care coupon and left with the Pink Pineapple Sunrise body cream. It's super moisturizing and smells like pineapple candy. The store is organized really well and they have plenty of Buy 3 get 3 free and Buy 2 Get 1 free sales. Definitely recommend! The gift packages are really cute too. read more

Bath & Body Works is located inside the Burbank Town Center Mall on the second floor . Due to covid restrictions only 7 customers are allowed inside the store at a time. I understand the need to implement these measures but it's definitely an inconvenience. You are basically at the mercy of the window shoppers and the customers that take their time. I was six deep on a Wednesday afternoon and the wait was around 30 minutes. I can only imagine the wait on weekends. The store is well stocked and easy to navigate. All the employees were friendly and made themselves available for customer assistance. The updated hours are 11am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-6 pm on Sunday. read more

After dealing with clueless sales associates at The Oaks in Thousand Oaks, I decided to try this store. Oy vey this one was just as bad. They had their usual buy 3 get 3 free sale, and this includes the large expensive men's colognes. Every associate at that store insisted that it didn't (flat out wrong). So, I ordered online for pickup at this store. Burbank was the only store that had all 6 that I wanted. But there was a problem... The drones at this location canceled my order. They claimed they were out of 3 of the items I wanted. Wait a minute... this is 2022, how could you get this so wrong? You scan a barcode, automatically decrease the number available by 1, and I, as a shopper, should see the correct count. I guess this was too hard for them. They then tried to screw me out of the deal. They gave me 3 of the colognes for half off. If I still wanted all 6, I would end up spending more money than I should have with the deal. So, I just ordered everything online, got the deal (minus $6 for shipping) and received the items before Christmas. Brick and mortal is suffering, and Bath and Body Works and the people they hire show that it is well deserved. From now on I will just order online and have the items shipped. What can I say, I love a nice candle or 10...Bath & Body Works always comes in clutch with the seasonal scents and frequent promotions! This location was just remodeled so it resembles a White Barn more- darker walls and similar merchandising, but same friendly workers and decent selection. This isn't the biggest or most well-stocked Bath & Body Works around (the Sherman Oaks one is pretty good for more options), but it's convenient and usually has most of what I want. I love their soaps as well, and their Semi Annual Sales (winter and summertime) are a good time to stock up. They have an app as well so you can earn rewards and use digital coupons. Anyways, Bath & Body Works was in the midst of renovating the original store front off Magnolia Blvd . So I had to find the temp location on the third floor. I heart the mall, but I'm no hunter. The smaller but well organized Bath & Body Works was half on sale. Everything's getting bought up quickly: sale or not. The mall wasn't full but B&B Work was packed with customers & products. I only bought a candle and holder. Both priced at 50% off. I usually stock the scented candles, but they only had 3-wick candles left. Those sized candles easily last more than a month. I only shop at Bath & Body Works once or twice a year. The employees have always been friendly and knowledgeable... But I always end up having to put myself back into their rewards system. I like pampering myself from time to time and I like Bath & Body Works body lotions, they always come up with cool flavors and I have some classics that I like to go back to all the time. The location in the Burbank mall has moved temporary because of the renovations. I do miss the old spot, it was so convenient, sometimes I'd pop in just to wash my hands with their nice smelling soaps. For a few months they'll be upstairs, 2nd floor, near Sears. I was in the mall to cool off a tad and kept seeing ladies carrying their bags with the semi-annual sale. So I couldn't resist because it's that time of the year when I get some lotions for pampering. It was a tad crazy in there, but the customer service was great, the young lady that checked us out was very sweet and pleasant and they had a nice selection of cool items on sale. Re customer service: I don't know but they seem to selectively welcome incoming customers/patrons but not all. Don't say goodbye or thank you etc..The two greeters were talking and ignored me and made me feel as I was interrupting their conversation. I asked the stocker a question and she looked at me as she was half asleep. Such a downer to be there . The one star is for the helpful smiling cashier that was the only one who emanated warmth. Re the merchandises: One needs to be careful in selecting body sprays or bath washes and make sure it works with your body chemistry (don't use the card board test strips) and make sure you test it on your skin. I bought a couple of sprays and everyone in the household told me it smelled like "cheap dollar store perfume". I had to exchange it for lotion and hand sanitizer. Doing a little after Christmas shopping and got sucked into their HUGE sale. What can I say, I can't pass up the $10 candle $3 air freshener clearance sale. This place was packed! Shelves being restocked..baskets overflowing...things out of place. But for the circumstances, I think the team of about 5 employees were kicking butt. At no point was I ever offered a basket or bag, while I am precariously balancing 4 large candles and a handful of air wicks. Probably a good thing or I'd have bought more than I should anyways. The line was almost to the back of the store. I stood there debating whether I really needed this or not. But I saw a cute blonde (maybe manager) get on her headset and notify the other employees that the line was very long and to "let's get it down". And with that, things just double timed...And before long I was at the register. (Just as the same girl clicks on her headset giving praise to other employees for the great work). No coupons, quick swipe and I was out of there. I did notice a few people bringing in expired coupons, raising a little fuss which was slowing the lines down. But the girls behind the register were polite and would double check expiration dates and sales and give an apologetic smile. This review is for the customer service!!! I walked in only for the beach scrub and then was informed of the sale going on by Evelyn. She also told me to download the app for a free gift, yay! The real MVP was Amanda. I ended up trying to get the Love aromatherapy body cream, the beach scrub, and two hello beautiful lotions. The hello beautiful lotions were for my mom because she's obsessed with those. However the grand total ended up being like $50 which was off putting considering all the "sales" and free gifts. Anyway, long story short I changed my mind about a million times and Amanda was so patient. Ended up with one hello beautiful, one scrub, and one love body cream. I love the aromatherapy line here and needed to run in to do an exchange for something I purchased a while back. I was greeted by a super friendly associate who quickly asked what I had in my "holiday" bag. Busted! haha! I hesitantly mentioned I was hoping to do "just" an exchange and he warmly told me not to worry, I could swap out for like items and even offered me their newest scent in the form of a BBW ribbon bracelet. Fancy. ;) Anywho, I ended up getting someone not too experienced at the register trying to understand my exchange and when the friendly person, Artin, which I later found out his name swooped in to save the day and my time. He was gracious in taking over with the associate, efficient in doing my exchange, super friendly and funny. For me, I would be buying their Body Creams whether they're on sale or not, so that's serious savings for my wallet. Makes me very happy. Also - their personnel is out of this world friendly. It was Memorial Day Morning, fairly early... I would expect people to be grumpy because they have to work on a holiday, but they were super chipper, excited, and enthusiastic. Especially love when things are on sale, too, because I kind of don't think some of the things are worth full price, and also I'm a sucker for a good sale. I tend to stay away from the vanilla-y scents, but other than that, I really enjoy sampling the various products. And let's face it, any 90's girl will tell you that CUCUMBER MELON is the greatest scent on earth. If you can't agree with this, we definitely can't be friends. The level of customer service in this particular B&BW store definitely leaves me thinking, "Meh. I've experienced better." The entire basis of this company is "Our Customers Rule". As someone who has worked in a large number of customer service jobs, including a few years at a Bath and Body Works on the east coast...I know how difficult that can be sometimes. I also know how to be a good customer, and it's frustrating to me when I'm treated poorly when I try so hard to be friendly and easy-going when visiting any retail or restaurant establishments. A few times I've had to make returns and exchanges at this Bath and Body Works location in the past few months due to my pregnancy and frequently changing tolerance to scents. I know doing returns or exchanges are frustrating to employees, so I always make a point to make my returns/exchanges when I'm also making a purchase so that it doesn't throw off anyone's sales numbers. I bring my receipt, and I have everything organized before I go up to the register to make it as easy as possible on the cashier. I also try to go during non-peak times if possible. Still, in spite of all of this, the employees at this location have always been incredibly rude. Glaring, mean looks...just stuff that I don't need in my life, especially when I'm going out of my way to try to be a good customer. Once when exchanging a candle (and making an additional $30 purchase), the cashier made a huge scene about taking the used candle, wrapping it up in a bag, stapling it, writing on it with a sharpie, and disposing of it before finishing my exchange. Why not take care of your customer and then do that after I leave? Seriously unnecessary, a huge waste of my time, and incredibly rude. The only reason this location doesn't get one star is because the location is convenient enough and the store itself is generally decently stocked. Just when I think I'm going to give up getting their products and try another line, I find I'm just not as happy with the results. Things I love about this place. - if someone gives you a gift and it's not the right scent, you can bring it back and trade it for one you like - the buy 3, get 2 free deals are great - the discount coupons (if I don't space out on the expiration date) are great - nothing keeps my skin smooth and soft like the body creams - have also become a huge fan of the plug in room fragrance (they can keep even the smelliest rooms smelling good) Really.... the only thing I can whine about is some of the scents I used to love have been replaced. I miss the OG vanilla. I used to be a serious vanilla fan. My new favorite the the Aruba Coconut... but I'm kind nutty about coconut in general. read more

This Bath and Body Works at Burbank has questionable customer service. The employees I've encountered either don't know their company's return/exchange policy or they don't follow them and make up their own. It is disheartening for customers who do not educate themselves on Bath and Body Works' return policy and are ripped off by the employees here. For anyone who doesn't know, Bath and Body Works has an excellent 100% guaranteed policy. That means if you don't like a product whether you bought it or received it as a gift, haven't opened it or have used it (even if it's more than once!), you can return or exchange it if you're unsatisfied. That's why I feel safe shopping at this company. I know if I purchase a product (and since I buy so many, I don't usually get to using it until a few months later), I can always exchange or return it if it is irritating or doesn't work for me. The company explicitly states you can exchange PRODUCT for PRODUCT, meaning lotion for lotion, shower gel for shower gel, etc, in the same size regardless of season/date/selling price, or receive a credit for the lowest and/or current selling price. For example, if I bought a Sweet Pea 8 fl oz. body lotion, and the scent was too overpowering as I wore it over the week, I can exchange it for another scent in the same size. It shouldn't matter if the scent one is returning is the current Sweet Pea, a discontinued Dancing Waters, or holiday scent Winter Candy Apple. The employees at this store don't follow that. Today I was shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond in the mall, and decided to do an exchange at this BBW. I brought back a Winter candle that wouldn't burn evenly, and they would only let me select from the two pitiful candles they had available since everything, including the scent I was trying to do an even exchange for was sold out. I was told I could only exchange for those two candles since they were from the same season. Moreover, I was accused of not knowing how to burn a candle. I was told my candle burned perfectly normal. I had to actually defend myself and tell the employee it only "looks normal" because I was melting the edges with my lighter, burning it for 8+ hours, and soaking wax with a cotton ball in an effort to have it burn evenly and the wick not drown. To sum up this Bath and Body Works in the words of Skye Sweetnam, it sucks. read more

I go to this store about once every two months, but I never buy unless they are having a sale. Their scented products (which is almost every thing) smell nice. When one sale, the prices are reasonable. I got the plug in "Wallflower" today for $5 and a package of refills was also $5. My favorite are their candles - which on sale (3 wick candles) are $10 each!
