They have a very large selection of candles and an equally large lack of good customer service. I walked there this afternoon for some new scents for my apartment. No one greeted me as I walked in, I spent some time perusing the store with no one coming and asking if they could help me find something. I actually DID want the assistance. There were three attendants at the store, two men and a lady. One of the men did not even acknowledge me and he was right there at the register. The gentleman with the shaved head was the only friendly one. I want to support local businesses but with that kind of "service," I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Candle Delirium is a candle shop. They carry a lot of the high-end candle brands. Prices were high so I would say this is more of a gift or special occasion store. The place smells amazing. A good sign in a candle shop. I was disappointed, however, that their selection of taper candles was lacking. They only carry one brand of taper candles. The were very large candles in diameter and although the ends could be trimmed down to fit my much smaller candle holders it would have been too much of an endeavor. Taper candles are not a rare item. They are one of my favorite types of candles because they really set the mood especially on an elegant tablescape. I do think a store that specializes in candles should have many more varieties and brands of taper candles to choose from. If you are not looking for something specific but just a nice smelling candle for your home or as a hostess gift then I think this is a nice place to shop. But I was disappointed they couldn't help me. The associate was kind and friendly but there was not much he could do for me and told me to check out Amazon.com. Luckily, I found another local store which wasn't a candle shop but had what I needed. I was so relieved as ordering candles in the mail during the hot summer months sounds like a recipe for disaster. Located next to Laurel Hardware between Laurel and Crescent Heights. This store has everything in terms of moderate to high end candles and beyond! They have all of the familiar brands like Voluspa, Nest, and Diptyque, and many brands I've never heard of but totally fell in love with. The store is beautiful, peaceful, and so inviting to walk around and explore. Candle Heaven! I was headed through WeHo to grab dinner at one of my fav Thai restaurants when I glanced to my right & saw the sign "Candle Delirium." I immediately pulled over & parked at the meter and came inside. I ended up spending about 30 minutes smelling various scents, some NY based candles I had curiosity about & was grateful I got to "sniff" them prior to purchase. The staff member was very helpful, inquiring what scent profiles appealed to me, and any additional considerations I wanted (Soy free candles). He provided many recommendations and my nose had a happy time exploring new candle options. Shopping at this shop was one of the best retail experiences I've had in quite a while. Firstly, I love candles - if you do too, look no further and RUN to this shop. The selection is NUTS. Ranging from quality 'entry level' all the way up the line to some amazing lines of candles I have never seen in the US (Mad et len, Trudon, etc.). The shop is enormous, and very easy to spend a lot of time (and money!) in. That all being said, ask for Bryce to help you. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and made incredible recommendations.
