Darren was an angel helping me find the perfect gift candle set!!! Definitely coming back for the exceptional service

I was always scared to go in bc it looks fancy- and yes there are candles that cost more than my first car BUT there are soo many that are affordable. Candles, room sprays, diffusers and even body scents. Customer service was top notch- I didn't feel bothered and he let me know all the sales. I smelled almost everything in there and wish I could splurge- thank god my fav was only $28! 60 hour burn time and high end jar- you can't beat it. read more

Darren at Candle Delirium is the absolute best! Such a kind human being and extremely knowledgeable in the world of candles. I've been in this store many times and he taught me things and brand tips to be a great shopper for the most aligned candles. I felt so seen today and my day was made thanks to this man! Highly recommend you buy your candles here -- the selection, value and customer service are unmatched! Thank you Darren! :) read more

If you're even remotely into candles, you need to make your way to Candle Delirium in West Hollywood. This place is a true scent sanctuary--and the experience is made even better by Derrin, who was nothing short of phenomenal. He's an absolute encyclopedia of fragrance knowledge. I'm not exaggerating--he knew the entire inventory inside and out, and within minutes, he led me directly to a handful of scents that felt completely tailored to my taste. I walked out with three unique candles, each one better than the last. I've already lit one and it's filling my space with the most beautiful, layered fragrance. Whether you're hunting for a specific scent, a gift, or just want to discover something you didn't know you needed, this is the spot. Thank you, Derrin, for making the experience so personal and effortless. I'll definitely be back! read more

Candle Delirium - Three new scents from Candle Delirium - Candle Stores Near Me - West Hollywood, California

They have a very large selection of candles and an equally large lack of good customer service. I walked there this afternoon for some new scents for my apartment. No one greeted me as I walked in, I spent some time perusing the store with no one coming and asking if they could help me find something. I actually DID want the assistance. There were three attendants at the store, two men and a lady. One of the men did not even acknowledge me and he was right there at the register. The gentleman with the shaved head was the only friendly one. I want to support local businesses but with that kind of "service," I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Great customer service. Selection is amazing. The quality of their candles are amazing. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the product. read more

If you're shopping at Candle Delirium, do yourself a favor and ask for Darrin. His customer service is next level -- attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in helping you find exactly what you're looking for. I came in with a vague idea of the types of scents I liked, and Darrin nailed every recommendation. His knowledge of fragrance notes and his ability to match them to my taste was seriously impressive. This isn't your average candle shop -- it's high-end, and Darrin makes the experience feel even more elevated. I walked out with candles I'm obsessed with and will definitely be back for more. Five stars for Candle Delirium, but honestly... six for Darrin! read more

Long time customer and can't ever get enough of Candle Delirium. Exquisite collection of candles, and everything aroma related. Intoxicating fragrances and the best service in town. Jason walked me through his favorites and I found a few gems / new addictions. Best place to shop for gifts and self care. read more

Candle Delirium is a candle shop. They carry a lot of the high-end candle brands. Prices were high so I would say this is more of a gift or special occasion store. The place smells amazing. A good sign in a candle shop. I was disappointed, however, that their selection of taper candles was lacking. They only carry one brand of taper candles. The were very large candles in diameter and although the ends could be trimmed down to fit my much smaller candle holders it would have been too much of an endeavor. Taper candles are not a rare item. They are one of my favorite types of candles because they really set the mood especially on an elegant tablescape. I do think a store that specializes in candles should have many more varieties and brands of taper candles to choose from. If you are not looking for something specific but just a nice smelling candle for your home or as a hostess gift then I think this is a nice place to shop. But I was disappointed they couldn't help me. The associate was kind and friendly but there was not much he could do for me and told me to check out Amazon.com. Luckily, I found another local store which wasn't a candle shop but had what I needed. I was so relieved as ordering candles in the mail during the hot summer months sounds like a recipe for disaster. Located next to Laurel Hardware between Laurel and Crescent Heights. Metered parking on the street. You could park either in front of the shop on Santa Monica or on the side streets (also metered). Check-in for a free sample with purchase. read more

We have been buying candles with a Southwest Fragrance for several years from Candle Delirium. And, have been very happy with the selection and quality of products. However, today I would like to give a "shout out" to a staffer, "Stacy" who in this modern age when above and beyond the call of duty to fill my order, when we ran into a minor problem. Stacy gets "six" from Suzanne Rios and Hadley Johnson of Santa Barbara, CA. Thank you! read more

I was living down the street when they opened and I was in college - I can't believe it's been that long. They always stock my favorite candle brands and artists and they have introduced me to so many new scents over the years. I still ordered from them when I lived across the country and I always something for family at Christmas from their recommendations. The prices can't be beat and they really know their stuff. I love Candle Delirium! read more

Just stopped in here for end of school year gifts and I left with the perfect gifts in hand, and overwhelmed in the best way. This store has everything in terms of moderate to high end candles and beyond! They have all of the familiar brands like Voluspa, Nest, and Diptyque, and many brands I've never heard of but totally fell in love with. The store is beautiful, peaceful, and so inviting to walk around and explore. Rachel was wonderful and helpful in terms of guiding me to new brands and so informative about which candles offered the best value. And they gift wrap for free! read more

Stacy was so helpful. I understand that their shipping is rather slow. This was indicated on their website. However, I went ahead and called and spoke with Stacy. She not only got the order out to me that day but upgraded me on one product at no charge. Products were wrapped wonderfully with no leaks. Will use Candle Delirium for future gifts. read more

Omg Stacy of Candle Delirium is the BALM! This cutie deserves a raise. Kudos to HR for hiring someone like her. I had a bit of a problem with an order and she was so professional in helping me straighten things out. Humans like her really do make the Earth spin so much more effectively and lovingly. Because of her now all my candle [plus more] shopping will be going to Candle Delirium! And they have an amazing assortment of gifts for yourself and others. read more

Online shopper so had to trust that everything would go smoothly. Their communication and responsiveness is top-notch! I ordered three items: one shipped directly from them, and the other two shipped from the manufacturer. The one from them arrived in perfect condition and in record time. One of the items from the manufacturer arrived early and perfect, and the other one never arrived! One email to their customer service department and I had a response from Stacy that same day! She got to the bottom of it and I had my items from the manufacturer two days later (she even called me to explain what happened...loved the human touch!). Excellent customer service and just a fun and wonderful company to order from! read more

Stacy is the best!!! I bought a candle through Candle Delirium made by Trudon that I've purchased before. It had been a couple of years since I bought that exact scent, and when it arrived it had a much stronger floral scent than I remembered, which was too overpowering for me. Not only did she reach out to Trudon to confirm if the scent formulation had changed, she helped me find a suitable replacement. The customer service here is unmatched! If you're looking for a place with an amazing selection of luxury candles and a fantastic staff, this is the place for you! Thanks again Stacy! read more

Candle Heaven! I was headed through WeHo to grab dinner at one of my fav Thai restaurants when I glanced to my right & saw the sign "Candle Delirium." I immediately pulled over & parked at the meter and came inside. I ended up spending about 30 minutes smelling various scents, some NY based candles I had curiosity about & was grateful I got to "sniff" them prior to purchase. The staff member was very helpful, inquiring what scent profiles appealed to me, and any additional considerations I wanted (Soy free candles). He provided many recommendations and my nose had a happy time exploring new candle options. He had a great Rihanna playlist playing & even pointed out Soy free candles that are favorites of Rihanna's. Looking forward to making additional candle purchases for myself & my fellow candle loving friends. read more

Shopping at this shop was one of the best retail experiences I've had in quite a while. Firstly, I love candles - if you do too, look no further and RUN to this shop. The selection is NUTS. Ranging from quality 'entry level' all the way up the line to some amazing lines of candles I have never seen in the US (Mad et len, Trudon, etc.). The shop is enormous, and very easy to spend a lot of time (and money!) in. That all being said, ask for Bryce to help you. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and made incredible recommendations. I may or may not have left the store with 10 candles! read more

This place has the BEST candles and such a wide variety too. Also really hilarious birthday cards as well. But the staff is my favorite part. I love to pop by and say hi when I'm strolling the area. Darrin is so sweet and hilarious! He makes everyone feel at home when they enter the store. It really is just the warmest energy in there because of him, and he always finds me the best candles to buy for myself and for friends as gifts. 10/10 definitely would recommend!! read more

Finally! This place has been under my Yelp bookmarks for quite some time. What has held me back from coming here in the first place is the fact it's somewhat hard to get to aka not located near any freeways & it's in WeHo aka parking hell. If I lived in the area or even la county I would def frequent more because this store is your candle fantasy land. Right away the ambiance is overwhelming ... be prepared to spend some serious sniffing time upon your first arrival [if you don't know what you're specifically shopping for especially]. I've never seen a store with more candles: from Soohyang to Diptyque to Fvith. They got it all!!! I never knew the candle market was this huge. My first visit was quite spendy. I was stoked they carry Soohyang [korean brand] because there was a candle I was planning on buying but after testing out the scent profile in person ...nope. I ended up with a lovely reed diffuser instead! I also found a new brand of candles I fell in love with [local too!]. There's literally soooo many brands! So far I've been here twice & I'm already planning on many many many more. I also loved how the employees left me alone while I was shopping & not once did I feel like I was being watched like a hawk, it was a fabulous shopping experience. I love this place so much. I also may add... the manager is quite the guy as I was asking about Oudh scented candles & the one he recommended by Lumira was sold out. Instead I ended up getting the Balinese Ylang Ylang scented one from Lumira, which was literally the last one as he sold me the floor model sample. My only complaint is to stock more Lumira candles!! & I'd love to see Byredo too. Don't forget to sign up for their point system folks! read more

Candle Delirium is an absolute gem! Our family has been shopping at the actual brick & mortar store and online as well for over a decade. We adore the ethereal physical space. It is gorgeous & sublime. If you can, visit it. The collection of candles is enormous. Literally, wall to wall. All staff are incredibly kind, professional and eager to help. Above and beyond. We had the most stellar experience with Stacy. Thank you, Stacy, for being so very empathetic & understanding and for expediting our issue. Wow. You could teach a master class in customer service. Candle Delirium is such a rare, wonderful & delightful place. We are so grateful you are in our neighborhood. Thank you, Anthony, for keeping your not-so-small business open and thriving in our town. PS - the "Laurel Hardware" candle is like a walk in Provence. Literally, one of a kind. A family favorite. read more

I came in today 30 minutes before closing with three different scent profiles I was searching for and the bald gentleman (forgive me for not remembering his name!) at the register was super helpful. Darren is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. He is the goat. Will definitely be back again

I can't speak to in-store, I made my order online and was super impressed. Despite the Covid Crisis 2020, my items shipped the next day and were delivered to me in a few days - and I received proactive tracking updates which was nice. Know that the offerings here are very high quality and (in many cases) priced accordingly. But there are good values to be had too - like promo codes and free shipping. They really do carry all the best brands - from super classic Diptyque & Cire Trvdon to funky Boy Smells and super high end things like Formasetti. My purchase arrived beautifully & securely packed, with a nice note thanking me for my order and a fancy box of matches. Looking forward to brightening up my quarantine with some luxurious smells from Carriere Freres (check 'em out - owned by Trvdon but 1/2 the price!). Definitely will be shopping here again. read more

Great selection, and from our experience working with Stacy we can say the customer service has been exceptional. Deborah H.
