We walked to Lima & Magnolia to this store that I've always passed by but never visited. Once inside I was feeling the positive and helpful energy that The Crystal Shrine creates. We were greeted by Star who was very knowledgeable about every stone and crystal. She also focuses on the Vedic astrology. Definitely will come back to learn more about that. Everything started with visiting Burbank, CA this year due to a YelpLAEast event in Burbank, CA. I also attended. I got myself into Crystal Shops this Winter Season/2024, some how. Since I got swapped to YelpLAEast, I decided supporting more local biz in Los Angeles, CA., but more from the upscale neighborhoods of Los Angeles, such as Burbank, CA. I Yelped my way to 'The Crystal Shrine,' Burbank, CA. recently. I've visited this store twice now, and both times all staff have been super friendly and helpful. I met up with my counselor here, Orly this second time I visited the store. My session was 45 minutes long, and she just met me. She was extremely spot-on with perhaps just 1 piece of detail a tad off (but that had to do with my friend's room-mate, so was still extremely spot on.). I was very impressed with Orly, and her insights that she provided me with clarity I needed this second visit. Once again, she doesn't know anything about me: it was amazing how she got me calmed and confident after just one 45-minute session. Mazotov!!!! Her rate just might be on the high-end side, so if you need guidance and clarity on life's next steps, I highly recommend Orly. I Gotta emphasize the fact, that I was a walk in, and she doesn't know Anything about me. I walked out 200% more confident. The visit was totally worth it. Aside from meeting Orly, this entire store's displays were just extremely organized. Cashier always has been generous with wrapping needs as well. Visited here on the recommendation of a friend who said it was one of her favorite shops in Burbank. It's funny because it's located next to a bunch of shops I know and love and I didn't even know it was there! The selection of everything was wonderful and I bought a gift for a friend and a fluorite for myself. I did feel a bit awkward in there like the staff were always watching me which I understand there's a lot of small parts. But it definitely made me feel like I wanted out which I don't think was their intention. I would definitely come back with friends and will recommend based on the location and selection. I honestly have been purchasing my crystals from small online retailers, either via Instagram or Etsy, of course guided by my intuition. Boy am I SO glad to have an IN-PERSON crystal shop local to me! The Crystal Shrine has various authentic and stunning crystals, including rings, necklaces, and bracelets as well as stand-alone specimens. I absolutely adore crystals and love wearing them on me as well, carrying them in my purse as well as placing them around the house! Staff here is super knowledgeable and kind. I love this store, and have purchased here many times. However, I'm writing this review to call out two things. 1) I was served by Emma, who was absolutely wonderful. I had just suffered a concussion and was struggling to function. Lots of activity in a story was not easy for me. She helped me navigate and make decisions with a very gentle manner. 2) I was in the store the day Queen Elizabeth II died, who is arguably one of the most revered public figures in history. Both of my parents fought in World War II. My mother for the Royal Air Force, my father for the Royal Navy. Meanwhile, The Queen drove ambulances for the British Army. When someone mentioned The Queen died, I was expecting a feeling of unity in sorrow for such an exemplary woman. Instead, Tamra at the front desk said, "I hear Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" is trending. I literally felt a shock wave go through my body. I audibly gasped. I even said something to Tamra - which she shrugged off. I normally go out with a shield of sorts when being in public (which is not what it used to be), but my frontal cortex damage, combined with the fact that I was in a store that is supposed to understand energy, I just didn't have my force field up. I was absolutely sickened by Tamra's comment. Does she not understand, or take seriously the power of energy - given that she works in a crystal store? The feeling stayed with me for days and served to arrest my brain's recovery. Thankfully, I'm better now and able to write a review. If there is any sense of shame or decency in Tamra (which has become rare these days), I hope she takes this review to heart and thinks twice before throwing out such a disrespectful and kurt comment during the mourning of the masses when a beloved public figure passes - no matter what country they are from. We are all in this together. The world was a better place with Her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth II - and I'm honored that I was in a society that was blessed with her impeccable graces. read more

Went in this past weekend to acquire some chakra stones. I explained to Max that I'm beginning yoga teacher training and we are currently learning about the chakras. Max was very kind and guided me thru the different kinds of stones and their properties. I felt safe and comfortable even as more people began coming in. Free tarot teaser readings on fridays. As a novice reader it was cool to get a three card pull and hear a quick overview of what was pulled for me. They have a great selection of gems and crystals. They sell jewelry, cards and books too! The prices vary and honestly I think every Crystal shop is a bit pricey but I guess they have to make their money. Im a huge fan of Ross Mathews podcast, and he is always raving about this place! My boyfriend and i decided to stop in, and omg, we were ignored the entire time. We are Black and no one greeted us when we walked in, but the white person who came in after us was greeted immediately. I brushed it off until i went to the room with incense and it was only myself and 1 employee. She saw me and didn't greet me or offer help. However, this store is absurdly over priced. $17.95 for a tiny malachite heart the size of a nickel? $43+ for a small rainbow fluorite point not even 2 inches long? Honestly the mark up on their pieces is just outrageous. I wish I knew about The Crystal Shrine when I actually lived in Burbank. Since the storefront is not actually on Magnolia, I had driven past countless times without knowing it's there. It seems to still attract plenty of business despite that thankfully, as there are always other customers when I've gone in. It's a nice shop. The entrance room has the main crystal collection, while a side room has all the spiritual goods. Picked up a wonderful apophyllite on my last visit here. I'm reading some disagreements over prices; I would say prices here are slightly above-average, but I've definitely seen pricier. Extremely friendly staff, and even if the parking spots in front are taken, it's not hard to find street parking a little further up. read more

When I walked in, I immediately noticed all the variety of crystals they had in it's own section. The best part about the store was the large Buddha statue behind the counter, just beautiful! I was looking for some crystals for my friend's birthday and the guy there called one of his colleagues and she helped me pick out some crystal great for creativity and motivation.
