This store "as featured" in the "Obsession" movie, is a very creative and unique metaphysical store and apothecary. There are many offerings at this place, from spiritual rituals to drum circle events; the list goes on. Fun fact: I was actually into the black magic and witchcraft when I was a teenager and so this store is going to be handy for me. The staff can also create special crafts and spells depending on what you are seeking help with. They also offer psychic reading and healing sessions. Inquire with them for further details. This past Saturday, the store was a bit crowded, and inside, it is quite smaller. But I was able to browse around patiently and ended up buying a few items myself. I saw "evil eye" pendants, keychains, necklaces. I purchased a "cleansing kit" which included: sage bundle, palo santo (missing in my bag) selenite and a black and white chime candles. I also brought home a black tourmaline pendant to repel and protect against negativity. They even have scene photos from the movie "Obsession" with a clear statement that the one wish willow is "SOLD OUT" So many candles, journals, incenses and mini statues of Greek gods/goddesses were displayed as well. I even saw a mini voodoo doll. I was quite impressed by how much this store offers and I look forward to coming back here soon and continuing to explore their items. Their website is very informative and goes into detail as far as what they have to offer. read more

My boyfriend wanted to visit this store as it was in that movie Obsession. The place has some neato spiritual items. It was cool to check out. The people working there seemed friendly. He ended getting a couple candles. They were sold out of the wish willow when we were there back during the weekend before Labor Day. read more

Yes, while everyone's excited about this place's little cameo in the movie "Obsession" - I'm here to give a proper and actual review of my favorite metaphysical store in the Valley!!! Filled with an amazing team of knowledgeable people, they will help you with everything and anything. Highly experienced? You'll find everything you need here. Brand new to this and need some guidance? The staff here are amazingly kind. Kinda in the middle where you need help with something but are not sure what you're needing? This place will take the heavy lifting (and having to search through the internet) off of your shoulders. They give amazing recommendations and have a large number of practitioners on site daily. read more

I absolutely fell in love with the store. Jay and Ariel are so inviting and kind. They are extremely knowledgeable about their merchandise. They have so many beautiful trinkets, crystals, and magical gifts. Everything is so beautifully priced. I definitely recommend you visit The Green Man Store--such an enchanting experience. read more

I always enjoy a great book. Let's start with the feel, the look, the smell, the way the pages sound as you are flipping them and soaking in the information. I love this spot with the different options of books they have at this location. The value of comfort when you grab a book from this place is always on point. Great vibes and great energy and a must visit if you're in the area. read more

My go-to place while in the Burbank area. A more than adequate supply of everything one could possibly need. Great place for readings, participating in rituals, classes by very well informed and educated teachers, and always a pleasure to visit. I love the energy as well. Makes me feel extra magickal! read more

I have been coming here for a few years now for their services rather than their store offerings. They also have various classes throughout the year with an online schedule or you can see it in store. Every time I walk inside i am always greeted with a sincere smile and I feel welcomed. I've worked with Shauna & Monica and both were great! If I want to get a reading done this is the only place I go to. They have been able to answer any questions I have. read more

I always come to their psychic fairs. Very busy and the readers are always great. Their new location in Burbank is good

Have you to admit when I heard The Green Man Store was moving from NoNo to Burbank I was a bit bummed...then I remembered some of my favorite metaphysical and spooky stores are in Burbank so I got over the disappointment quickly. LOL Love the new space. A little smaller as far as their shop goes but still gets the job done. Same great knowledgeable and friendly staff. Think parking is a bit easier too. read more

This visit belongs to my current, 'Adventures of Upscale LA, CA's Crystal Shops' Collection Series.' I've gotta get back to organizing this series of events I've been working on this Winter/2024 Season. I was specifically looking for their on-site counselor at 'The Green Man Store,' when I was referred to Francesca. She was super friendly, down to Earth, to-the-point and beyond efficient!!!! I walked out 200% confident of my 'Next Steps,' on my career transitions. Also, Spencer showed me a great time before my walk-in appointment with Francesca! It was such a lucky day because i had literally just found free parking and Francesca was just about to take off. That for sure was Not a coincidence!!!! That had to be a 'meant-to-be,' walk-in appointment!!!! Also, they carried Lots of crystals in the shop as well. It would take hours to finish browsing all the various types of crystals they displayed around the different sides of display tables. I showed up during last hour of the Store's operational hours, so I didn't have enough time to browse. I've gotta get back here this coming week. What caught my attention originally to this business was their store name, 'The Green Man's Store,' sounded quite catchy there already for a Crystal Shop!!!! Spencer turned on extremely soothing music right when I walked in which made me feel like I was at a Spa. Lovin' the store's wall decors too. The entire store's ambiance turned out just naturally inviting to me and definitely felt positive energy all over the venue. All staff were super friendly, but just Spencer and Francesca stood out. Thank you both for a marvelous experience!!!! I'll be back again soon. read more

This is my local "go-to" apothecary, workshops, reading & all things spiritual store! I love the outside entrance. Very mystical and enchanting, hidden on Lankershim Blvd just north of Burbank Blvd. The minute you walk into the tiny storefront you will be greeted with friendly employees and amazing items. It's my kinda "candy store!" Adorned with beautiful crystals, candles, statues, incense, jewelry, oils, herbs, books and so much more! They offer workshops online and in person. Don't let the front room of the store fool you. It goes further back where they have a room for workshops and a second floor where the "real work" happens. (Readings, tea leaf readings, tarot and psychic) They prefer appointments but you can walk in. (You may have to wait a bit) I have taken several workshops here and have learned and grown so much in my craft! *Check out their website for workshop schedules. Sign up for their newsletter!!! Very informative on what is going on at the store. Monica, Shana, Griffin, Jay and Diane are just a few of the fabulous people who work here. Each one has a special gift that may help you and your needs. **Monica is an Italian Strega who carves the best candles with your specific intentions and reads yea leaves. Very talented!!! ***Shana has a touch for reading people and also can connect with pets who have passed. *listen to Monica and Shana's podcast "Wine, Spirits and Witches!" Love the way these 2 work off each other bringing so much to each episode. ~Plenty of free street parking and I do believe they have a small lot in the back. ~Prices are moderate. ~The apothecary area is awesome!!! If they are out of an ingredient you need don't stress they can order it for you. read more

Love their new location in Burbank. The inside of the store is exactly how they had it in North Hollywood!! And I love that for me and the community bc I do not like when stores change drastically and lose that feel and vibe I got to visit the psychic fait they had going on today. Very welcoming vibe. There were several different types of readers and they were all very interesting. They also have a large lgbtqia presence which I appreciate seeing. I really like going here for my apothecary supplies. There is a strong European/Nordic/Germanic current of magick here which I also very much cherish. read more

I really enjoy this spot and happy that I found it. I've done two tea readings with Monica, and she is amazing. My first reading was over the phone and the second in person. I would definitely recommend going in person. The shop is small, where the front offers a ton of different crystals, incense and books. They normally have one person working the shop and they are very knowledgeable. The readings are held in a different part of the building, but they will walk you over to where it is. Just be sure to let the front desk person know who you are there to see. They don't have a parking lot, but you can street park pretty easily. read more

I had a tea reading, and it was a really fun experience. I was amazed by the accuracy of what she shared and the letters she interpreted. I also got an unblocking tea bath and a custom-made candle, which added to the fun. The interior is super cool, with everything hand-painted. read more

I been to the Green Man Store (their first location by Noho station) when I was a junior in high school and all through my college years. I never once had a problem. They been very kind and sweet, but that was years ago. I'm now 30 and went to visit with my mother. I did not had any problems. I got helped my a kind gentleman. I explained the situation and he gave me tips/advice on what oils I may need and want. Besides the oil, they have variety of Gods/Goddesses statues which were beautiful great selection for tarot cards, crystals, and etc The reason why I chose "maybe" recommend this place are due to some people will be uncomfortable due to certain products, employees saying this is a witchcraft store (I found it amusing and pretended I didn't know), and etc read more

One of the managers (Jerel) is a well of knowledge & very amicable. The ppl are friendly & very willing to assist & educate with any questions. Clearly their aim is to help u with the needs of ur journey, not to make a sale. There r readings available upstairs in private rooms. The ambiance coincides with the aura of their products. It feels like a "safe place." Easy street parking with no fees. (Nice restaurants down a few blocks on Magnolia, recommended by the manager.) read more

It's a very zen place. The employees are super friendly and very helpful. I can't forget the tea reading....it was spot on.

I have been frequenting the Green Man for several years. The store offers some wonderfully unique candles. My favorite is the Mercury RX Reversal candle. The classes and rituals are mystical & magickal. I love the vision quests with Griffin. I have also attended sabbat rituals and festival held by the Temple of Ced which were life altering. read more

This is my top store to go to for good candle dressings and readings. I hate when I go somewhere and they do a reading but then they are trying to sell you into doing work with them. But this place is more bias perhaps in a way, they don't try to push you into a singular belief per se. And this place tells more light compared to other places I been to and I been to quit a few. read more

Amazing! Monica Sorce - did a tea leaf reading for me. She hit so many past and present items. The situation was spot on and the future items seem aligned with some things I already know are probable. Monica is very caring and sensitive in her reading. You can feel her resonance with what is difficult for most of us to sense at all. This was a reading looking into the upcoming year. The information stimulates me to think and ponder the past, current and future. It is a way of being more in tune with yourself and away from the noise of the everyday world. I strongly suggest you make the time to visit with Monica. I know I will. The shop is very interesting and the people working there are cheerful, helpful and caring. read more

Okay, I came to the store that scared me... But with real reasons. Firstly, I saw something on pInterest that my dad would like... Secondly, there are more scary things to encounter in and around the place. I just had to conquer a fear. The store ambiance was dark, eerie and small. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The merchandise was normal: jewelry, stones, books, gifts, readings, etc... The books were old. They didn't carry the pInterest stuff. I liked everything with a scent, jewelry and handmade ouija board. Maybe I could replace my dragonfly crystal. Maybe not. And they had beautiful carved keychains for cheap. I loved a carved polished heart in cherry citrine versus rose. They had big hearts in rose quartz too... The big hearts came with pricetag. I bought a couple things that I wouldn't find at the nearby malls. It was an okay store. read more
