Vanessa was working- she was very sweet and helpful when I asked her opinion on the oracle decks. Then, when I was checking out with my items, she had a tarot deck and asked me if I would like to ask a question and have a card pulled. This woman is clearly an impath and very intuitive/empathetic- I really had my poker face on but it's clear she could tell I was having a hard day. She pulled two cards that were absolutely amazing, one of which was very in line with an oracle card that I kept pulling for myself regarding "death"/rebirth and new beginnings. She explained both in context, what she had to say was so beautiful and insightful. This was about a month ago and I have in fact turned a big corner with the health stuff. I think often about that reading- how kind it was of her to take time out of her day to give to someone who she could tell was in need. It made such a big impact- not only on my day, but it gave me a renewed sense of hope and peace. It honestly felt like a little sign from whoever is guiding me that things were going to turn out ok. I was feeling so lost and really needed that in the moment. Thank you Vanessa, you made a difference in someone's life and this place is so lucky to have someone so special! As for the store itself- the new location is beautiful. Each location has a huge variety of tarot & oracle decks, special stones, candles etc and they also make their own magik candles, incense, room sprays, perfume, etc. My 40th birthday was yesterday and I got a really cool Capricorn Solar Return gift box for myself- this will definitely be my new go-to for birthday gifts. I'm sad the Highland Park location closed, but I have been to both the Hollywood and Silverlake locations and I love both. Also - I finally read about the owners on the website. Their story is so touching and I love being able to support them as a customer. IMPORTANT NOTE: As of now 1/9/26 it says this location is temporary closed but it is not!! They did however move a few blocks away for the west hollywood location- which is wrong on google- so make sure to check the website for the address.
