My wife and I stopped by this TJ Maxx while we were in the area. I never been to a TJ Maxx before but my wife wanted to look at their jewelry and purses. The store is very well organized, I didn't see one item on the floor. They were pretty busy for a Tuesday night. They had purses on the right when you entered into the store. My wife didn't see anything she like so she went straight to the jewlery. She found some items that she likes and give me hint what she wanted. Afterwards we just walked around the store and they were pretty stock. This store is in a big plaza so you should not have any issues finding parking.

Heres the story of how TJ Maxx made my credit score drop -7 points by signing me up for a credit card against my knowledge! I still haven't heard back from the manager from the store who said she would email me this past week: Won a $200 gift certificate, so went here to spend it. My total was 199 and some change, so I rounded up to exactly 200 as the cashier asked if I'd like to round up and make a donation to a kids foundation. All was going great until this point. Then, the cashier offered 10% if I signed up for "rewards program." Cool. $20 off, and she said "you can come back and spend the rest." I, as any person with common sense would assume, thought that meant I would only get charged $180 and have $20 left on the card. So, I naively gave them my information, thinking it was a rewards program like the grocery. After giving them my personal information, the cashier said I would only get the 10% off if I submitted something with the rewards card???? This made me a little upset but I pay the full $200 anyways since it was a gift card. But, when I see the receipt, it says the "rewards program" is actually TJMAXX credit card! So my information was used to apply for a TJMAXX credit card against my knowledge. I soon get a notification of an inquiry on my credit report app, so I angrily stayed around the store and spoke the manager Anahid, who dismissed my concerns of my credit score being affected and could only give me a customer service number to call. I left the store unsatisfied with her response and had to call transunion to ask the if they can do something. Best they said was wait a week or 2 because they have to submit a claim to cancel it to TJ MAXX. No word from them yet. Next day I get call from "Liz" at the store who speaks very nicely and sounds like she wants to help me out, so I tell her whats happening and shes says she will call me back after the weekend. I spoke to her the following Monday, and she said she would submit an email record, so I could have something in writing, and would call me at end of the week to confirm she submitted cancellation. I have not heard back from "Liz" at TJ Maxx, nor have I received any contact or confirmation from TJ Maxx that I submitted a request to have this cancelled. My credit score is now -7 points, and as a young person trying to save for a house, this is very upsetting. TJ Maxx are schemey mfers who stole my information on promise of a discount and then signed me up for a credit card. Yes, i was naive to give my information, but I feel so preyed upon, and now my credit score is affexted and noone has reached out to me. Never spending my money at TJ MAXX, Marshalls, Home Decor, Sierra, or any other affiliates after this unresolved nightmare. Attached pictures of the Cashier and Manager if anyone at TJ Maxx cares to educate them on how these "rewards programs" have real world effects on people. Still no idea if my requests have been submitted, because there has been no confirmation email......I asked many times for something in writing not just on the phone but noone seems to care. Horrible horrible horrible service. -7 points on my credit card and after 3-4 calls to the office and the number given to me by the manager, still no help.

Everytime, I come here the lines are always so long! Need to hire more staff or have separate lines for returns!! Like Ross! Some customers may not be willing to wait! Especially since there is a lawsuit pending of misrepresentation of comparable price value!

This place has a little bit of everything! After failing to find a decent pair of boots at JcPenny's, my friend suggested here. And boy am I glad it didn't work out at the other store. Found a great pair if boots for $30! Easy peasy! Wandered around the store and found myself picking up "must haves" that I can't believe I've lived without all these years. Lol. And all for a fair price. They have a lot of high end, last season items..which in my world are still too expensive. But if you're a label shopper, you can certainly find some great deals. Only thing I didn't like was the line. It was long and you're standing in a gauntlet of last minute crap that taunts you. Even though most of the registers were open, it still seemed like it took forever. And if it wasn't for the fact I really needed these boots,I would have likely just set my stuff down and walked out. The cashier did apologize for the wait. Did the customary plug to open a store card to receive an additional 10% off, which I declined. Took my money, thanked me and sent me on my way. Although not a huge fan of discount stores, I would come back to this place.

I have been a big fan of MacPherson for years...In the '50's I co-starred in the popular Annie Oakley Series (cbs '53 '57). I played Annie's brother "Tagg Oakley". The saddle I rode in the last year of the show was from MacPherson's. Through the years and the changes in ownership they have kept my leather goods in great shape. I have bought my hand made carved belts from them for years. A few weeks ago I went in and introduced myself to the new owner... I asked Mr. Nadel the V.P.(Thats the name on the card he gave me) to carve a new belt for me. I showed him the belt that MacPhersons leather made some years ago and asked what it would cost me to get a new one exactly like the one they made me some years back. Mr. Nadel was very nice and looked the belt over and gave me a quote. I said that would be fine. He measured it and took a pattern. He said it would take a week or so but would cal...l me. He did call and I told him that I was having a new silver tip for my Ranger belt buckle made. When its finished I'll come in and have you put it on. That day was today 12-17-12. WHen I walked in he Was ON THE PHONE SO i SHOT THE BREZZE WITH THE GUYS IN THE BACK ROOM AND ASKED IF THEY HAD A NAIL TO PUT ON THE TIP OF MY OLD BELT. Mr. Nadel CAME OUT AND SHOWED ME THE NEW HAND CARVED LEATHER BELT they made. The workmanship was top notch as always. i POINTED OUT THAT THE DARK BACKGROUND HADN'T BEEN DONE. HE SAID THAT WOULD COST MORE. i TOLD HIM I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. When I originaly made the deal it was to match the old MacPherson belt. He said he couldn't do that now. It'll be more money. I repeated the story and asked how he could change the price at the last minute. He said he'd have to get more money now. I said that wasn't the deal. He said it'll cost more...in fact, I won't sell it to you at all now. I said this was to be a Christmas gift. He said I won't sell it to you at all. So I left. I've never had any trouble at all with the other owners....But Ronny(Remember....that was the name on the card he gave me) went back on his word........Ronny can't be trusted.... All those years and Ronny got greedy thinking I would pay the extra frieght at the last minute. He got very nasty too. I'll never shop there again. He's seen the last of this reel cowboy. I 'm sure lots of people have been treated very well by Ronny. For me...it was a very bad experience. I apoligize if Allen gave me Ronnie's card instead of his own. Jimmy Hawkins..... Tagg Oakley Gene Autry's Flying A Productions '53 to '58 But GOOD NEWS.. After doing some searching to get a new leather carved belt I found The H & M Leather Shop on Riverside Drive near Victory in Burbank. I met Alberto and showed him the MacPherson belt I wanted copied. He said he could do it and have it to me for my Christmas deadline.... which was in less than a week. Now mind you, I've had a beautiful hand carved Parade saddle made by Ed Bohlin and Various belts, boots, Guitar straps etc. made by Nudies and some hand carved Directors chairs made by Al Shelton. I feel I know a little something about good hand carved leather. Well Alberto at H & M delivered one beautiful hand carved belt as good as any I had made in the past.... And.... at a price much less than what Ronny Nadel had quoted me before he tried to raise the price when I came to pick the belt MacPherson made for me.... So for wonderful workmanship at a very fair price... it's Alberto at H & M... (1-818-970-6491) Turned out that MacPherson and Ronny Nadel did me a favor when he tried to screw me.... I met Alberto....a true leather artist.. Try 'em....you'll have all your leather goods made at H & M. I know I will...alreday sent 2 friends and Alberto is making a new holster for their collection. Another is having a belt like mine made.
