Couple of days ago I went to this Macy's to buy couple of gift cards for Fathers' Day. Not for my own STUPID/MORON father that hasn't been in my life since 1980 or probably ever. So, when you don't have a normal father that you can call DAD, you end up buying gifts for other people in your life who appreciate you more than your own father ever did. This store is located inside Burbank mall. I got my gift cards in different denominations.Both were for Macy's stores. One for ($25.00), and the other one was for ($35.00). That's all I needed to buy. Got both gift cards and left the store. As we all know Macy's sells everything from A to Z. No need to be extra descriptive. Employees were nice, helpful and friendly.Also showed me where their gift cards aisle was.. Store was nicely organized and clean. Has parking lot structure and I believe restrooms. They have too. Been shopping at this Macys since childhood. Located in the Burbank Mall,This store is beautifully organized, with each floor dedicated to a specific department, which makes navigating easy. Macys does run really good sales from time to time. Overall, it's a nice shopping experience that is worth stopping by at least once! I also purchased my bedroom set from this Macys and was exceptionally pleased with the delivery, value, quality and wear of each piece. read more

Sienna in the men's section has excellent customer service. They didn't have what we were looking for but we were pleased with the service

We were in the jewelry area looking for a men's watch for my husband's birthday. It was difficult to find someone to assist. Finally one saleswoman ask another to assist us. She told her sure in a minute. We were standing there while she was doing paperwork. They both spoke in another language that we did not understand. The service was underrated. The energy of the saleswomen was no energy. She didn't want to sell us a watch. We left and bought somewhere else. read more

This Macys is closest location to my house. I usually go here when I need something. Some of the employees in this store are really nice and helpful. They go out of their way to help the customer which I really appreciate. This Macys has a backstage section too. Items sold there are cheaper than the actual Macy's. It is perfect, if you are looking for a gift and don't want to spend a lot. The beauty department has most of the famous brands like Chanel, Dior and Lancôme. Shoe department can be tricky sometimes cause customers move around the shoes. Therefore, it can be hard to find the size you're looking for. This store has the best parking lot which most of the time is empty. I think because people prefer to use the main entrance to the mall. So, not too many park there. read more

Stopped by briefly to pick up an item this past weekend. I placed a same day online order and received notification after an hour or so that it was ready for pick up. Located on the first floor, closest to the west side garage area of parking lot, it is much easier to get to the customer service area if you park on this side. There was no line upon arrival and received my item quickly. Service was fast and pleasant overall. read more

I decided to buy a deodorant stick one day at the men's fragrance counter because I needed one for the day. The lady with dark hair was nice and helpful. I purchased an Allure Homme Sport one by Channel. The lady had mentioned it was alcohol based, but I didn't think it would smell so strongly of alcohol, and only of alcohol, so I walked back to the store to the exchange it and get a stick that was without alcohol. When I spoke to the lady who had rung me up, she got visibly annoyed and had another woman do the return. Apparently, Macy's penalise employees for returns/exchanges because these roles are commission based, so I ended up exchanging it for a sticking of Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Gio since it was without alcohol. I am still bothered by the initial woman's attitude. Like, I get that it might be a little annoying that I returned it, but returns are allowed and reasonable if a customer is unhappy with a product. Also, Macy's shouldn't be punishing employees for returns out of their control. This is why I will be avoiding doing business with Macy's going forward. Why risk the attitude should I have a legitimate reason for a return? The fact that employees become angry over a return because of bad commission and pay policies is why people should avoid it. read more

Chanel department is the worst here they do not wrap the gift properly and the lady was on the phone the whole time when I try to get her attention to help me she was on a personal phone call and pretended to make it about her customer. She didn't even wrap the gift right you are a mess read more

If there was an option to put zero stars I would. Horrible customer service, me and my friend were discriminated against by an employee with grown out roots and bleached hair. She told us that Macy's wasn't a lounging area however there were two other men sitting around us and she didn't tell them to move or to leave. She quote on quote said "You can go to the mall instead." It's unfair that she targeted us for harmlessly being in the store. If you're in the shoe dept at Macy's in Burbank, ask for Myra. Myra was inundated with customers today (Sunday). She was running both the shoe and handbag dept. Myra called for backup, but in the interim, she was professional, calm, and accommodating, even when a customer in handbgas was impatient. It's hard to keep good employees. Macy's should recognize her for going beyond with her customers. read more

The Macy's of Burbank is one of note. Located in the Burbank Town Center with three levels of access department store fits, fragrances, furniture and furnishings. I typically stop through for a quick browse and walk through. Even more so around holidays as they have extra items in stock that make for great gifts for all occasions. It's a solid location that's clean and typically organized... Though a bit odd in clothing for spacing... Some areas are very easy to navigate around and others are a little more intimate/close together. Elevators and restrooms on each and every floor that are all in working order, plus you can access the mall/BTC from 2 and 3. Pretty okay salespeople who provide solid service, but not always the warmest welcoming crew. I don't find as many deals or sales here compared to the Sherman Oaks location, but I do usually get what I need. You can enter from the main store side off Cypress Avenue & 1st (multiple parking structures and lots) or from Magnolia through the main entrance for the Town Center. It's never too busy and you may find someone who can help, but they are spread out a bit sparsely so you might have to go on a hunt. Overall, it's giving functional department store. read more

I shop Macys often because there are so many establishments located in Kahala Mall. I always check the Last Act area where woman's apparel is marked down 60-80%! What a deal! You never knows what merchandise becomes available or when it gets marked down all the way to 80% off! It's a "hit or miss" because not all sizes are available! It's like a treasure hunt! I found 2'"Amazing finds"! 2 designer dresses for $50! Also, customer service here is "top notch"! Today, Holly helped me! The other day Sandi was able to assist me in my purchase! Both ladies are very nice, friendly and provided Excellent Customer service by providing me a Macys Garment bag since I bought long dresses! The service in this Macy's is great. Especially from a particular employee named Manal. I was looking for a specific shirt at Macy's that showed that there was 1 of left. When I asked another employee they told me that there was none of that shirt left. But when I asked Manal, she looked in the store, in the back, and used a tracker to find my shirt. Worst customer service imaginable. My wife purchased over $1,500 in purchases before Christmas. She received gift cards that totalled $80 in value but expired before December 25th. Went to Macy's Dept Store here at Burbank Mall yesterday to buy some Birthday Gift Cards and I was attended by this Associate name ADRINEH S. She helps me look for some Birthday gift cards designs that I want, so she checked to other cashier station and found some nice one. She's very nice and very helpful to her customers. My son and I went to Macy's Burbank Mall to buy a gift for my husband. We went to cashier but it's a long line. I asked one of the employee if I can pay to any other cashier and she said yes. I don't usually leave reviews, but yesterday's trip to the Chanel counter left me feeling beautiful and special Oscar assisted me with choosing a red lip and a sultry eye shade. He suggested a radiance boosting primer which I bought and today have been receiving nothing but compliments. Oscar definitely knows his craft and I think this counter will be my only go-to from now on. Visited Macy's on 12/19 to remove a sensor tag that they left on during my last purchase. I approached this lady who was sitting at the register on her phone, being useless. I asked if I can ring up my items, she pointed at the guest service desk and said "you can go there." If she was busy selling furniture, I would understand, but for her to be on her phone and refuse to help blew my mind. Whoever you are, I hope you get embarrassed watching this. Extremely easy to make returns and the parking is brilliant right there in Burbank. Very peaceful and very quiet and the workers seem nice.

Clerk named Tom (I wish I had his last name), maybe in his 50s. I don't understand how Macy's let somebody like him work for the company. He's rude, arrogant and he thinks he's gonna inherit the company. The first time I dealt with him, I was in line to return something. He noticed it and he sent me in a very rude way to another register because "he was busy". Bs, he was ringing up a lady in front of me, nothing crazy. Plus he sent me to another register where the line was longer. The second time I had to deal with him was to return another product purchased online. This time he had no excuse to send me to another register. The item was brand new: inner pack bag, intact tag. This guy pulled the jacket, check all the ziplocks multiple times, all the pockets, and the tag A LOT of times, like looking for an excuse to tell me he couldn't process the return. He even SMELLED it and he said "this smell is weird" like smiling. He called another clerk to smell the jacket and the lady was like ok, it doesn't smell like anything. While he was doing all this circus I was telling him how do you want it to smell if it's brand new as you can see, and it has never been worn. Not just happy with that he asked me if I wanted him to order another size when I had told him that I JUST wanted to return it. I said no, I just want to return it. He keeps checking the tag as if he's gonna find something else, he types something on his computer and then he asks me "so what do you size do you want me to order?" Jesus Christ dealing with this man was unbearable, just by seeing his disgust face you can see he hates his job. Look for another job man. If you don't like people returning products, don't work for retail. It's incredible how Macy's let these people to be the face of their company. It's been a while since I've needed to update my review on here. This Macy's reopened today so I think now is a great time for it! I've been here a number of times since my previous review and all of the coworkers have been super friendly and helpful. The store looks super clean too, which was always the case. My dad has taken me in to get some clothes from time to time. He tends to like to do that for me in the summers before I go back to school. Well, we've shopped in the ladies section multiple times. It's really a huge section! They are constantly doing sales for different brands and when I was there shopping last I picked up a few new tops, and some were on sale, which was cool! They seem to have a lot of variety in stock and it's very neatly organized too. They have a number of clearance sections as well, which is great! The cashiers have been nice, but the last one did get a bit pushy trying to get my dad to get a Macy's credit card. It's ok, we know they are just trying to earn a living, but it still was annoying that she kept trying two times after my dad said he didn't want one. It made for some awkward silence after he kept having to respectfully decline again and again. I went in today because the art group I am in has been having shows in their elevator and restroom lobby area and I wanted to pick up my art that had been there before the covid closures. I called them around noon and spoke with Luis. He was able to get his manager's approval and said to ask for him when I showed up. I ended up meeting him and a very nice manager named, Shannon. Both were so helpful and nice and I was glad to see they had customers and were able to survive the closure. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon to do some shopping. :D read more

Heard a lovely employee explaining to another that dependent on how a customer is dressed, the employee will change how they treat the customer. Also got a couple dirty looks from said employee. Housewares section looks like a thrift store. Disorganized and many items do not show the prices. Try to find someone in the floor to assist, is slim to none. Customers have to stand in line at the register to get questions answered. Macy's does sell coffee makers, but the components to operate them are not sold there, such as coffee filters and water tank filters. Not only does the houseware section look like a thrift store, but men's clothing looks no better! read more

I stopped by this Macy since I was inside the mall and wanted to look for a slim fit dress shirt. I couldn't find it at first so I asked an employee working the front and it was basically behind her. I didn't find the shirt I wanted so I didn't buy anything. The store is nicely organized and it was nice that they have an employee at the front where you walk in front the parking garage. I mostly stayed on the 1st floor since that's where the men's stuff were at. I also walked by the cologne and it was nice to not have sales people asking you to try some products. read more

I purchased a new sofa last week, got a great deal on a recliner loveseat on clearance. Taline in the furniture department was so helpful. Delightful, knowledgable, attentive but wasn't putting any pressure on me. She explained my different options for delivery and the protection plan. Taline had also returned a call from me earlier in the week after I left a message with a question about a different piece of furniture. Macy's Burbank: Taline is a star!
