It's not a super center so I don't expect it to have every thing but it should still be clean and organized. This was a great place to shop when they first opened. The store was always clean and well maintained. Lately (over the past 2 years or so) it has really gone down hill. The clothing areas are way too crowded with racks and none of the way it is placed makes really any sense. Electronics is awful with broken displays or dirty displays from kids putting their gunky hands on everything. They used to have a great sewing and crafting area but now its practically nil. What is even sadder is that there are hardly and staff on hand to help with anything. Most of the people on the floor are "pushing freight" and in a rush so they can't assist you. It is honestly pretty sad. I avoid Wal-mart and only shop there if its a last-ditch effort to find what I wanted. I now use Amazon more often. read more

In light of so many negative comments I felt compelled to shine some light on my very positive experiences with the Pharmacy Department especially with customer service representatives Brian and Dianna. Brian has helped on numerous occasions expediting Script refills and transfers from other pharmacies. It's very pleasing to be greeted by you first name when you pick up your prescriptions. Dianna always greets us with a smile and will always take a few items from the store to avoid the long check out lines in the store. I came to the store this morning for gift wrap and odds and ends. It's Walmart, I wasn't expecting to be wowed by 5 star customer service or anything, but when I couldn't find cellophane to wrap a gift basket not only was an associate readily available and easy to find, but she walked me right to the item I needed and was very nice. But here's the part that blows my mind...I was stressed, exhausted, and in a hurry to get to work and I paid at self checkout and took $60 cash back. It is 3 hours later and I just remembered I took the cash out but I walked away and left it at the checkout. I just called Walmart and spoke to Megan and she took the time to track down my money which IS SITTING THERE WAITING FOR ME!!! I fully and completely expected to be out the $60 and to have learned an expensive lesson about paying attention to what I'm doing, but this Walmart has honest employees with the integrity to go the extra mile and take care of dingbats who leave their cash behind, and I am so grateful for their honesty. read more

OK we all go to Walmart for the convenience of it having most of what you need including oil changes in your car..but to sit in your car for 15 min at the lube service area with 5 workers walking around and not say we will be with you in a few min that's wrong. Went to Walmart to pick up an item that the app said had limited stock I go out there and there wasn't anything on the shelf. this is to be expected however following day the app said the item was in stock. So again I drove out of my way across town to get the item only to find the item was not in stock!!!!! So I asked to speak to a manager the manager told me that when items Come into the store they are scanned and it will show that the item is in stock however the item can still just be in the stockroom and not on the floor and she also told me there would be no way for them to get the item out of the stock room so that I could buy it. Whaaaaat!So what good does it do me if the app is telling me it's in stock and I can't buy it??? So essentially it's customer no service and the app can't be relied upon or should I say Walmart cannot be relied upon? Then the manager proceeds to tell me that I should've called first, You mean so that somebody else could check and it would say it was in stock when it really technically isn't if it's not on the floor? Horrible customer service. They do not care about the customer. Also, their online order and pickup system is a joke and a complete waste of time. I ordered an item online for in store pickup. I never got notified, so I called the store & spoke with a sales associate and the manager and neither one could figure out where the item was in the store. They gave me a lot of excuses...it might be here or we might be there...hah totally disorganized and confused, and completely useless..a complete waste of time. I had to then cancel my online order for pickup. Should have just ordered it from Amazon instead, would have had it in 2 days with free shipping. FRANK from the electronic department noticed us at the register waiting to be checked out after Kelly had talked to us at the register and still walked away. Frank rang us up and I told him we were price matching and he instantly put his hand to his face and stood quietly, he then proceeded to look at me and impolitely say "that's a whole other process, why didn't you tell me that before? Now I have to restart the transaction" all I said was "okay". He then let Kelly know he was going to give him his keys as he was of @3 (10 minutes left of shift) crank again told me with attitude "you supposed to tell me that before I scan it" he then reminds Kelly he has to give him his keys. Our card was not working at the register so we were transferring the funds to another card and Frank walks away and never came back. MID TRANSACTION!!! I asked someone for a manager and that's when Kelly decided to come back to the front and asked us to move over so he check someone else out. We let him know our cashier had walked away and never came back and he said he just started and didn't know we were waiting. It's Walmart... you either love it or you hate it. I'm a little bit of both. I love the 24 hours, hate when they block the aisles at 10 PM with all their delivery crap. I love the low prices, hate the fact employees are always unwilling to help you find something. I worked at Target previously and "Can I help you find something?" was our job. Big difference. Again, where else can you go to get a bar of soap at 1 AM and walk out with a cart full of groceries and a few cool shirts?? Although I still prefer Target up the street on Cal Oaks, kudos to you Walmart in Murrieta. If you do prefer a slightly more pleasant and cleaner shopping experience, visit the Walmart in Temecula. This is an OK Walmart store. The best thing I could pretty much say about this store is that it's open 24/7. Bathrooms are decently cleaned, but sometimes not. Expect asiles to be unorganized and by all the shoppers who just tosses things back on the racks and the underwhelming amount of staffs there to clean them up. Speaking of staffs, they don't seem to ask if there is anything needed to be find. Expect to be dodging pallets of boxes after about 10PM when they start restocking the asiles. It's Walmart and it brings thousands of [various] people in the stores each day. I think the best time to go to Walmart is first thing in the morning (like around 7AM) when the store is cleaned up as much as they could. To be honest I'd rather shop at Target than Walmart, even though Walmart has more selections of items. read more

The employees at the Walmart Store located at 41200 Murrieta Springs Rd, Murrieta, CA 92562 are not treating their customers FIRST and don't treat ASIANS well. I went to this store this morning (March 24,m2021) around 8:00 to 8:30 and looking to buy a ROKU. The store was not busy. I found the ROKU ,but it was locked inside the cabinet. So, I looked around for help. There was nobody at the Entertainment Center. I was looking for a buzzer, a bell or a phone to call but none exist. Finally, there was an employee passed by and mentioned that I want to buy a. ROKU. She looked around and found the guy assigned to work at the Entertainment Center and she told me that he is coming. Few minutes later, I the guy come and told him that I want to by a ROKU. Then. another employee (a woman) came and talked to the guy. The guy opened one of the locked cabinets for her and started scanning prices for IPAD. I was there FIRST, should the guy entertain me FIRST, as a CUSTOMER? Then another employee ( a woman) came. She looked at me and ignored me. THREE Walmart employees and by myself (a customer). There was NO OTHER CUSTOMER but me. I was there standing and WAITING, WAITING and WAITING. The guy never had a courtesy to to me that it may take minutes (even I told him that I want a ROKU which should be quick as I know what I want).Much worse, the other two employees never bothered to ask me if I need help. The store management, department managers and associates must absolutely hate their lives and jobs. If not, they certainly act as if they do. Called multiple stores prior and it seems that all of the associates do not have any respect or courtesy to help a customer find out basic information. Terrible. Would not stop playing "practice fire drills" consistently. Would play drills during customer hours every 3 minutes with loud alarming sounds nonstop, and would repeat that it's just a drill but would never stop. No one could shop in peace and was filled with loud alarming noises and was very annoying and would not fix this issue. They should have "practiced" when it was not costumer hours, it was 3 in the afternoon to God knows when. Terrible service, never coming back. The Customer Service Manager at this Murrieta Walmart store was not able to process my returns. She had to summon the Assistant Store Manager, who also could not process my returns, neither. The Assistant Manager had to explain his reasons why he cannot assist with my returns and suggested that I drive 1.5 hours to another Walmart store in the Coachella Valley area. I drove there to the other Walmart store 75 miles away and they were able to process my returns with no problems with the Customer Service Manager there. He had to fix the mistakes that the Murrieta Store made about deactivating my phone and not follow-through with the return, making it more challenging than it had to be, but it was resolved quickly without hassle. read more

Personally I really like this Walmart. Sometimes they don't have what I'm looking for but usually I can find find what I came for and always find stuff I didn't plan to buy. I love their seasonal section right when you walk in the door past McDonald's. for every holiday or changing season they have 4-5 rows of themed stuff. All 30 of the picture frames in my room are from here. They aren't always put together correctly but they are inexpensive and most of the time they work out. As far as the store itself, it's always crowded. No matter what time you go it is crazy busy always. The floors are kind of dirty and their is always stuff in the lanes since they are open 24/7 they are always stocking. Not really fond of the employees, none of them are very friendly or personable. Honestly they all appear to hate their lives. Overall I shop here a lot, they could definitely clean the place up but even if they don't ill still probably go here too much. read more

I ordered an item online and needed it immediately for an upcoming event so I selected "pick up in store" so Walmart calls me and simply says "item no longer in stock I suggest you cancel this order and get your money back" no apologies, no alternatives offered nothing. I asked do you know when this item will be in stock? She said no check another Walmart. I asked "do you know if they have this item?" She responded no I can't check other stores inventory. This is so bogus. It's not the employee's fault that Walmart has some systemic issues but at least act like you care! I was informed by an employee that the service manager might be able to assist me with an issue I had with a return. The manager named 'Dalia,' who happened to be the Customer Service Manager. Informed me with a dismissive response that they were unable to fulfill our request. She stated that,"Customer Service closes at 8pm." I pulled into the Walmart parking lot and realized I had a flat. So I took my tire off and roller it to the tire center because it was so bad I couldn't drive it over there. I am here right now and it has been 2 and a half hours and they still haven't fixed my tire. There were two cars when I got here and they are helping the people that came in after me before putting my tire on. Most of the workers are standing around not doing anything. Do not come here. Disappointed, I came to get my oil change, was told it would be a 30 min wait until they got to my vehicle. I understood... Took my son to McDonald's and did some shopping. An hour later- I go check, and the car hasn't even been started. The tech said "your next" so I went back yo shopping. Checked another 30 + min later and my car is still in the same spot and has not been even touched. I was attempting to purchase one of the black Friday special items, a water dispenser.. By the time I got online, they were sold out. I tried 2 stores, in Lake Elsinore and Hemet. My last attempt was at the Walmart in Murietta on Hot Springs road. I was having trouble locating them in the store; the 1st person that I asked for help flat out told me she had no idea and offered no other solution. Then I went back towards hardware, and found an employee named Thomas. He was SO great! He helped me find the right one, which took some searching. Had a very positive experience with automotive dept. The young man who performed my synthetic oil change Dave did a wonderful job! Not only did he take the time to do things according to specifications he made sure to explain this to me. This had not been the case in the past year of experiences I've had with other supercenters. I'm very impressed at the quality and efficiency my which he does his work. I wish everyone held those standards. Keep up the good work Dave!!! I also like this particular supercenter because it has a large variety to choose from in every department. Especially like there clothing. I often see things here that I don't see at other Walmarts, which is great because I can still bargain shop without worrying about dressing like everyone else. read more

Went in today for socks. What can I say, Walmart has good prices on some things. Im frugal, not stupid. As anyone would do, I got my socks and decided to browse. I came across a carseat and decided to buy it on a whim. This is where the problems start. I can't find the color I want, I have a boy but all they had was pink. The item on display however was blue. You would think this would be a simple thing for an employee to help with. Well folks, not at Walmart. You see, the employees function on the derp setting. Anyways, I naturally can't find an employee to help, so a guy in electronics pages someone. After 5 minutes a girl shows up to "help." I explain to her they only have pink and dont have blue, and ask if she can check the back or if a surrounding store has blue in stock. After 5 or 6 minutes of her scrambling underneath the carseat display (i already told her i looked and there was only pink but w.e.) she tells me to follow her. This girl books it through the store and among the zillion other shoppers I lose her! After finally finding her she is talking to another employee. This employee identified herself as a manager. I tried explaining the situation and the girls just seemed confused and unwilling to help past telling me they cant check another store's inventory. Blashpehmous but okay... I have to remember this is walmart afterall. Then the "manager" decides to say it is an online only item, and I tell her their sign says that red is online only, not blue. She then is like, "wait huh? Hmm okay, I am confused, wait." I told them they seemed confused by my request and that I would continue looking for a carseat elsewhere. I actually told these two nimrods thank you for their time and I began to walk away. This is when I hear the "manager" say very rudely to the other girl, "woooooow." Obviously in reference to me. I wasnt letting this get by me because I was already flustered by the complete lack of customer service I was shown. I turned to her and asked her if just said wow about me and what her issue was. The girls looked shocked that I caught them talking behind a customers back like that. This is when the "manager" asks if I want to talk to a manager... I am like, you told you were the manager. I ended up just walking away. I avoid this place like the plague usually... and what happened today is a perfect example of why. Are you serious Walmart? Is this the experience you want people to have? By the way, the "manager" said her name was Hallie, Haley, w.e. She really should be reprimanded. You dont say stuff where people can hear. Drove an hour to pick up my Pit Boss BBQ and come to find out there's something wrong with it. Isaac brought it to my attention immediately and worked quickly to appease the situation. He offered several options, including discounts on either the KC or a Cuisinart. Ultimately, I took the discounted KC because I felt certain my husband could repair the broken piece. There was a lot of back and forth discussion, but it was super evident that he was trying to make a bad situation good and have me leave happy. It has all worked out, got a great deal on the BBQ and it's fixed! I highly recommend if you have an issue at Pick-up to see Isaac, he won't let you down! read more

I'm sure most people don't think twice about leaving Walmart a review, but after the experience I've had I feel the Murrieta location should receive only the highest of regards! Yesterday, After dealing with a mountain of stress through the Temecula location, AND hearing a manager say she did not want to assist me while the phone was "on hold," I had had enough. At that point, I had called the Murrieta location Just to tell them about the disgraceful service I had encountered through the Temecula store. Glenda, A customer service manager, was there with open ears to listen to my problem, and open arms for whatever product issues I may have had. Fast forward to this morning, when I had brought my defective product into the Murrieta store, I was greeted at the customer service desk by Allie and Peggy who had already been filled in about what I endured. They went to personally retrieve Glenda (who helped me while on her lunch break, might I add) to get my problem solved with no questions asked. I will MOST DEFINITELY never set foot into the Temecula Location again, and will take the extra 15 minutes to drive to the Murrieta store. Thank you again ladies, you've turned one of the most frustrating retail experiences I've ever experienced, into a very pleasant smile on my face. The store is always clean, great prices, and the employees are so very nice and helpful--but today, I was so thankfu As usual I began looking at everything in the store. As I was going to check out, I realized my phone was not in my pocket. I knew I brought it in because I had gotten a text. I looked EVERYWHERE for it. I'm one of those people that use my phone for everything, so losing it would be awful. After checking out (I was so down), I went to customer service to see if it might have been turned in. I was SO HAPPY to see it had been. I found out it was an employee named Grace (perfect name for her!) and I went to meet her to thank her and give her a small compensation. She was so sweet and would not take anything saying it was just the right thing to do. It got me thinking of how many sweet, caring, kind, and thoughtful people there are--so many, but I think we forget because the news is full of all the bad stuff. Then the young man with the beard gets there with the keys and seems like he had no idea I needed any help or no one had even told him.
