The worst customer service ever! All the employees are in bad moods, never greet you or do they ever smile.

Came in last night, around midnight for some batteries. Me and my boyfriend headed for electronics but didn't see any. Found an associate near the area and asked her where we could find the batteries. My boyfriend had the kind he needed with him to show her. It wasn't a button cell battery but one of those flat round ones. She responds with "uh we only have those in the jewelry department and they are closed". I knew immediately that she had no idea what the hell she was talking about, looked at her a little closer and her eyes were seriously blood shot...she looked so cracked out lol thankfully I remembered that they usually have batteries in the front and found the one we were looking for without that chicks help. Ya might want to do some drug testing on your employees Walmart :p read more

What a POS store. Customer service is non existent . Never anyone on the floor to ask questions, and management , if they can be found, are useless . The isles are blocked with palest of stuff, and the lines to pay are always lengthy . God forbid you go at Christmas time, you'll really be sorry. So , if you can handle all the BS, just to save a few pennies, go for it. I think if you do some internet research , you can find similar deals without all the headache . read more

Last time I went here I was making small talk with the middle aged guy at the register and I asked "how's it going?" Looking horribly miserable he replied "look around you how do you think it's going?" Definitely an FML'er. I said "OKaaaayyyy" and took my items and left. I know a couple years back when I was in high school, some girl got raped in the store. Not in the bathroom or some hidden spot, but in broad daylight during the middle of the day. Next to the fishing poles section. No cameras and no one came to her aid. If that doesn't say something about this place then I don't know what will. Definitely not something you'd want on your Wikipedia page. +1 star for the bank name Banco Popular read more

Horrible experience today with Associate Mary Beth from Electronics. She mocked and laughed when I informed her that I was looking for a TV that was showing up on the app for a clearance price. She immediately knew and said no I don't have it nope. I immediately realized that they were just refusing to sell it at that price.. I spoke to 2 different associates and they informed me that the item was being clearance out and that there was 2 available in the back.. I came back and informed her that I was told and she stated there's 2 but no "I can't sell them I'm waiting for Samsung to pick them back up.." then I asked for the display model and she stated "we don't sell display models" she then laughed and stated "let me guess that's your friend that works here that told you this" and I stated no.. I just moved here. I called her out on her behavior towards me and assuming things when I'm simply just looking for a TV that is being advertised and is in stock.. overall I got no where I left. I called and reported the store and her behavior. I don't get why they behave this way when it's a clearance out item.. meanwhile I believe his name was Frank was so sweet and very helpful throughout the process. read more

Yesterday I pick up my online order. Received a text message that the other brand was not available. I wish Walmart should inform the customer by calling us accordingly and refund us right away, since the substitution items will not work . According to the team member delivered my items, that's how Walmart does it when the items are not available which is great but it's not applicable, so I didn't accept the substitution items. She gave me my items, tide strongly in a bag and the team member rift the bag while removing substitution items, even I already called and inform them about my disapproval with the items, by the way they charge for the bag, then she just rift it off without thinking. So frustrated since its my first time to order online, considering that you cannot get the refund right away, charging me with the items that I don't want without consulting customer first. I don't trust online order, not gonna do it again. The first experience ordering online was a big disaster and a huge frustration. read more

Took my Buick Enclave to the dealership to get an oil change. The dealer couldn't fit the car into their schedule, so I made the fateful (read: stupid) decision to take it to Walmart for an oil change. I mean, at least I'd save money, right? And, you can't really screw up an oil change, right? Wrong. First of all, it took nearly two hours. I guess I could live with that, the dealership is as slow. I later noticed that they didn't clear the oil change service warning. I could live with that too ... I reset it myself. BUT, it wasn't cheaper than the dealership, IT COST MORE. Walmart actually charged my an extra fee because my car took "too much oil." I have never had a dealership do something that absurd before. But okay, I paid the extra fee. (By now I'm thinking I'm an idiot for going to Walmart, but not much more than that. I had no idea yet what I was in for.) I take the car home, park it in my garage. When I leave the next morning, I see a large oil spot on my garage concrete under the engine block. (My concrete is now stained with oil. Thank you Walmart!) I'm kinda in a panic, thinking they really screwed this up. I park the car in the driveway, open the hood, and look under the car. There's oil everywhere. I mean pools of oil drained down the engine compartment, starting as a pool on the top of the engine near the oil port. There is a ton of oil down into the engine block, which I'm guessing happened when the removed the oil filter. The engine is an oil stained disaster. It's bad. Was this the extra oil I paid for? (Thank you Walmart!) So, I actually paid more. My concrete in my garage is now stained. My engine will need a wash at some point, because it looks like the Exxon Valdez disaster. It would be clear to anyone working on the car that the oil change got screwed up, and none of the employees did the honorable thing to let me know. That's pretty sad. I'm disgusted with Walmart, and I'm disgusted with myself. read more

A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart....they are all pretty much the same except some have more disgusting bathrooms than others (I would recommend holding it no matter what location you are at). I stop here a couple times a month to get my basic household needs (cleaning supplies, bathroom stuff, etc.). They tend to be better priced than most other stores including my favorite big chain store Target. Pros: -If you are lonely and need someone to chat with the cashier will most likely oblige you. They always try to chat me up. Hello I am here to buy some tampons, not make friends! (so I guess that could be a pro and a con). -Good selection of most items, reasonable prices. -I have finally figured out where everything is since they "re-did" the store Cons: Do not buy music from Walmart, they censor everything and you will not get the music the way the artist intended you to. -Also, if it is raining DO NOT park in the section of the lot near the corner of Madison and Hot Springs. On 2 different occasions I saw cars parked there that had water puddled up past their doors! -McDonald's is wayyy too tempting sometimes read more

I moved here about three years ago and slowly but surely this Walmart started to deteriorate. The entire store looks dead (including the employees). I felt like a little lab rat with all of the damn fluorescent lighting and aisles full of boxes. I didn't know that "these kind of people" existed in Murrieta. Yeah I realize how bad that sounds, but that's one of the reasons why I moved here, to leave that mess behind. Frankly, it feels out of place. The parking lots are full of trash and I could probably knock the security out with my bony ass elbow. The last time I was there this chick decided to hold up the line by cashing a check, paying with a check, and then having the cashier add cash to some kind of prepaid card. I wasn't aware that Walmart now provided pseudobanking services. This is why I go to Target. read more

This review is for AARON , in the electrics department. I went in this morning because I had to bring in a defective phone I purchased last night . Anyways I brought the phone in to exchange it . Aaron , helped me . He was fantastic ! Extremely patient with me . Understood the complications with the phone. When I asked him if he could activate the phone for me . He said no problem. Came in today to get tires. The mechanic was great he explained to me the difference in quality ND was friendly. He quoted me an HR and half. I said I needed to leave in two HR and he said no problem PROBLEM they broke a bolt. OK it happens. But I'm sitting there waiting and the manager supervisor won't look at me. She taking to her staff co-workers whatever about a bone to go see and she's jealous of their weekend schedules but never took the time to addresses me. She just sent her staff over. Not ok. Set the scene, Sunday evening 8:30pm I'm checking out at my local Walmart. After the transaction was completed I was receiving $41.70 change. Last minute I said "oh wait, I found 30 cents. Is it too late to exchange this for a dollar?" The cashier, with a completely straight face told me "no, it's too late" in the most somber voice she possibly could. Can someone please explain to me why this lady couldn't give me a dollar instead of 70 cents when I was willing to give her 30 cents? I just don't understand. This place has got one F*cked up Pharmacy. You know what pisses me off the most is seeing sick people and elderly people blatantly disrespected. There are a lot of these type of places around Murrieta/Temecula nowadays. The thing that outrages me the most is how somehow these people who talk/act/look like trailer trash somehow get a job dealing with prescription medication. That's one FN scary thought that some person who probably didn't even graduate from the 3rd grade is in charge of making sure you get the correct prescription. Lastly, you gotta wait a brutally long time to pay for your medication here. Why???? Not only are these people incompetent, but there is always some D-bag standing in line who is trying to buy 20 frozen pizza's, pop tarts, and a 24 pack of Budweiser. Every time I come here there is 1 or 2 classless dumbasses who use the Pharmacy to pay for non-pharmaceuticals because the line here is shorter than the line at the regular cashier. Hey...why do most the Murrieta Walmart employees have Southern Accents anyway? This is California isn't it? What the hell is going on around here? In conclusion, go to Target or something... read more

Anytime I can avoid coming here I do. I just end up leaving in a worse mood then when I came in But it's nobody's fault except the corporate bigwigs that think they can pay employees next to nothing and expect them to give 100% day in and day out with a smile on their face. But for the most part the Walmart is below average. Too small, not enough parking, no full grocery section. The only plus it has 8 it's open 24 hours. But the customer service goes from bad to non existing at that time. read more

This is Strictly for the Tire Services: What garage refuses to help jump someone's car who is literally the closest parking lot. This is the worst Wal-Mart I've been to! 1) In the children's clothing section, NOTHING is organized. The bathing suits were thrown onto one rack, not organized by style or size. The rack was so full everything was falling off, there was no way I could find my daughter a suit. 2) In the home section, everything is just thrown around, nothing in its right place. I had to take multiple items to the price scanner because nothing was labeled. 3) Customer service is below average. You can easily tell they don't want to help! read more

So this review is for the Auto Center. I've tried giving these guys the benefit of the doubt but each time I come in have left dissatisfied with there customer service. I know these guys are in the auto dept and aren't going to be as friendly as the regular clerks in the store but each time they are so stone faced and dry. They give off that vibe of "now what" , or " great, another customer" I have came in the past for several oil changes and as soon as I mention I need a tire rotation also, they give me an excuse how slammed they are and each time I tell them I'm fine with having to wait longer to get it all done. I don't have the time or patience to make another trip and they should be happy I'm trying to give them more of a sale. The final straw was yesterday. My car battery was dead so I went there after getting a jump and it looked like the place was closed. The gates were locked and the lights were dim. Mind you this is in the middle of the day. I told them I need my car battery replaced and he gives me that look of "not going to happen". He tells me they have no time today and come back tomorrow. Remind anyone of the wizard of Oz??? I told them I spoke to someone that said come before 6pm and he said that they only have one person and lots of cars to get through and just don't have the time that day. I left pist off and vowed never to come back. So yes one can argue, who the hell takes there car to Walmart ? Or what do you expect from such a ghetto establishment? But like everyone else you go for convenience but since the last few times have been anything but, I say good day to you Walmart forever. read more

it would be helpful if Yelp would have a zero star! I was laughing at most of the yelp reviews being so poor. and thought, No one really expects people to give a good review for Walmart, do they? that place is a joke! worst customer service anywhere! When I have gone there, I always say, doesn't anyone work in this town? why is that place always packed? I don't get it personally, this is the last place that I would shop at! btw, you will find more fat people there which makes its difficult to get through the poorly laid out plans . its a good thing that they don't sample! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Suggestion to Walmart, you seriously should drug test all of your employees. read more

I should have known better, paid a slightly higher price and saved myself the aggravation by going to Target. However I have been to other Walmart locations that haven't been so bad but this one is a disgrace!! Firstly WHY ARE THERE GIANT PILES OF PRODUCTS IN THE AISLES?!?! It is virtually impossible to navigate a cart through the main walkways when half the aisles are filled with overstocked merchandise, not to mention trying to get around slow shoppers or unobservant old people or unattended children. Secondly RECOVERY! There was merchandise and carts just strewn about everywhere in multiple areas of the store! On the most recent trip I was there on a Sunday afternoon. It was NOT a holiday or anything like that. Is it just a lack of dedication to the job by employees or poor management? - you tell me. Thirdly the Customer service is literally nonexistent!!! I have been to this location on several occasions and each time for some reason this surprises me. The 1st time I was in a hurry looking for non-slip shoes for my new job. I had checked their inventory online prior and it said they had the shoes I needed so I hoped I would be in and out. I check the shoe department and its a HUGE MESS! Boxes of shoes everywhere- on the floor, benches, under racks. Men and women's and children's all mixed up. I found an employee sitting in front of the fitting room and asked them for help. Their reply- "I'm on break." SERIOUSLY? no "I'm sorry, I can't help you," or "I'll call someone." Well never mind then! I found the shoes BY MYSELF, checked out and left. Now fast forward, its been awhile again I am closer to this location while out running errands. I head to customer service to return a rug. No one is this place looks the least bit happy, but I get it, they've probably had a long day dealing with angry people or weirdos so I give the lady the benefit of the doubt, but keep in mind this is the "Customer Service Center." Its finally my turn, again ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No "Hello, What was the problem" or "May I help you?" just "Next." Anyway I give my explanation about why I am returning my item. I am told that I need to go on the sales floor and physically get her the exact same item myself since mine do not have the tags (which is my bad). Anyone who works in retail knows 99% of items have a tag with a Style # or a SKU# that can be looked up. But No, she didn't even look for one on the item. AGAIN no apology nor an offer to call someone! (((My boyfriend was the one that mentioned if this has been Target I would never have to get it myself. Whatever I'm not the type to throw a fit I just passive aggressively write reviews I guess.)))) So I venture into the darkness of Walmart, get the same rug and store credit and leave. As I am leaving I hear 2 people ask the Customer Service Employee to speak the Store Manager. The Store manager comes down and the 1st woman complains about the woman at the counter and how rude she was. I didn't stick around to hear how the rest went down but clearly I a not the only person who has had a similar experience! read more

I visit this Walmart at least once a week. It is located near my work and I can stop in real quick after work. I always park in garden center because the front of store parking lot is very crowed. I just moved to Murrieta so this is the closest Walmart to me. Ew, ew, ew... This place is ghetto!! It's not a super center so I don't expect it to have every thing but it should still be clean and organized. This place is so busy that I would rather take the drive to Temecula and hit up their walmart. As a matter of fact even if it wasn't busy I'd still do it. This place just screams gross! read more

This was a great place to shop when they first opened. The store was always clean and well maintained. Lately (over the past 2 years or so) it has really gone down hill. The clothing areas are way too crowded with racks and none of the way it is placed makes really any sense. Electronics is awful with broken displays or dirty displays from kids putting their gunky hands on everything. They used to have a great sewing and crafting area but now its practically nil. What is even sadder is that there are hardly and staff on hand to help with anything. Most of the people on the floor are "pushing freight" and in a rush so they can't assist you. It is honestly pretty sad. I avoid Wal-mart and only shop there if its a last-ditch effort to find what I wanted. I now use Amazon more often. read more

OK we all go to Walmart for the convenience of it having most of what you need including oil changes in your car..but to sit in your car for 15 min at the lube service area with 5 workers walking around and not say we will be with you in a few min that's wrong. Let's say they were busy..what about the white shirt lady standing their having a conversation with another employee ! Really walmart employees get it together it's the customers who make the business ! I would give this service center a big 5 start in the negative!! Well It's Walmart I can't say I had high expectations for them..... Its reputation is upheld here. This place attracts some of the lowest sketchy people in the Murrieta area. The same goes for their employees and customer service. They never seem to be in stock when I need something. I don't know if they just suck at restocking or what! So when ever I need cheap garbage this walmart is the place to go to meet my needs I only come here when I have too. I wish they would upgrade this walmart to a super Walmart oh and please pay your employees a little more. They seem miserable and depressed! read more

It's Walmart... you either love it or you hate it. I'm a little bit of both. I love the 24 hours, hate when they block the aisles at 10 PM with all their delivery crap. I love the low prices, hate the fact employees are always unwilling to help you find something. I worked at Target previously and "Can I help you find something?" was our job. Big difference. Again, where else can you go to get a bar of soap at 1 AM and walk out with a cart full of groceries and a few cool shirts?? Although I still prefer Target up the street on Cal Oaks, kudos to you Walmart in Murrieta. If you do prefer a slightly more pleasant and cleaner shopping experience, visit the Walmart in Temecula. Oh, they also do have 2 RedBox kiosks by the entrance for your movie rental needs. read more

This is an OK Walmart store. The best thing I could pretty much say about this store is that it's open 24/7. Bathrooms are decently cleaned, but sometimes not. Expect asiles to be unorganized and by all the shoppers who just tosses things back on the racks and the underwhelming amount of staffs there to clean them up. Speaking of staffs, they don't seem to ask if there is anything needed to be find. Expect to be dodging pallets of boxes after about 10PM when they start restocking the asiles. It's Walmart and it brings thousands of [various] people in the stores each day. I think the best time to go to Walmart is first thing in the morning (like around 7AM) when the store is cleaned up as much as they could. To be honest I'd rather shop at Target than Walmart, even though Walmart has more selections of items. read more

Send the people answering the phone to etiquette school. They are not welcoming on the phone and automatically on the defensive. I am not calling to argue with you. I'm calling because I'm a customer who spent money at your store looking for help and answers. Another thing that was upsetting is when they ask "how can I help you" and when you tell them and they transfer you they say "ay Yai yai." I'm sorry that I'm calling you, customer service, and asking for help. How rude of me. Then, they transfer me 4 times with the same lady asking "how can I help you?" Really?! Then, when I asked if they could help me they scream "I'm not customer service!" I'm not a friend or family member you can yell at. I'm a customer looking for help. That is unacceptable. You don't yell at someone when they are not yelling. And you don't talk over a customer who's trying to get information or ask a question. Here's some advice for next time. When a customer is asking a question don't talk over them and yell. What you do is listen and say, "yes, I understand your concern. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer for you, but let me try to find someone who can answer your question. Do you mind holding?" If you're polite and show you care you won't have a customer feel like they are being given the run around. Just as you feel your time is valuable we do to. read more
