I recently just completed a move and was in this Wal-Mart expecting to find a large selection of all-purpose plastic storage containers. I needed at least two to fit under my bed, so popular opinion led me to believe that I would find something to fit my need here. I'm kind of shocked that I was wrong. Aren't all Wal-Marts supposed to be identical when it comes to this sort of thing? I understand that some are "Super-Centers" but if you're looking for an assortment of storage containers wouldn't they be here? I wasn't looking for 80/20 ground beef, I was looking for some $10 clear containers with white lids. What gives? I ended up going to Target to find what I needed; and yes it was there. Came in last night, around midnight for some batteries. Me and my boyfriend headed for electronics but didn't see any. Found an associate near the area and asked her where we could find the batteries. My boyfriend had the kind he needed with him to show her. It wasn't a button cell battery but one of those flat round ones. She responds with "uh we only have those in the jewelry department and they are closed". I knew immediately that she had no idea what the hell she was talking about, looked at her a little closer and her eyes were seriously blood shot...she looked so cracked out lol thankfully I remembered that they usually have batteries in the front and found the one we were looking for without that chicks help. Last time I went here I was making small talk with the middle aged guy at the register and I asked "how's it going?" Looking horribly miserable he replied "look around you how do you think it's going?" Definitely an FML'er. I said "OKaaaayyyy" and took my items and left. I know a couple years back when I was in high school, some girl got raped in the store. Not in the bathroom or some hidden spot, but in broad daylight during the middle of the day. A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart....they are all pretty much the same except some have more disgusting bathrooms than others (I would recommend holding it no matter what location you are at). I stop here a couple times a month to get my basic household needs (cleaning supplies, bathroom stuff, etc.). They tend to be better priced than most other stores including my favorite big chain store Target. Pros: -If you are lonely and need someone to chat with the cashier will most likely oblige you. They always try to chat me up. Hello I am here to buy some tampons, not make friends! (so I guess that could be a pro and a con). -Good selection of most items, reasonable prices. -I have finally figured out where everything is since they "re-did" the store Cons: Do not buy music from Walmart, they censor everything and you will not get the music the way the artist intended you to. -Also, if it is raining DO NOT park in the section of the lot near the corner of Madison and Hot Springs. I moved here about three years ago and slowly but surely this Walmart started to deteriorate. The entire store looks dead (including the employees). I felt like a little lab rat with all of the damn fluorescent lighting and aisles full of boxes. I didn't know that "these kind of people" existed in Murrieta. Yeah I realize how bad that sounds, but that's one of the reasons why I moved here, to leave that mess behind. Frankly, it feels out of place. The parking lots are full of trash and I could probably knock the security out with my bony ass elbow. The last time I was there this chick decided to hold up the line by cashing a check, paying with a check, and then having the cashier add cash to some kind of prepaid card. Came in today to get tires. The mechanic was great he explained to me the difference in quality ND was friendly. He quoted me an HR and half. I said I needed to leave in two HR and he said no problem PROBLEM they broke a bolt. OK it happens. But I'm sitting there waiting and the manager supervisor won't look at me. She taking to her staff co-workers whatever about a bone to go see and she's jealous of their weekend schedules but never took the time to addresses me. She just sent her staff over. Not ok. This is the worst Wal-Mart I've been to! 1) In the children's clothing section, NOTHING is organized. The bathing suits were thrown onto one rack, not organized by style or size. The rack was so full everything was falling off, there was no way I could find my daughter a suit. 2) In the home section, everything is just thrown around, nothing in its right place. So this review is for the Auto Center. I've tried giving these guys the benefit of the doubt but each time I come in have left dissatisfied with there customer service. I know these guys are in the auto dept and aren't going to be as friendly as the regular clerks in the store but each time they are so stone faced and dry. They give off that vibe of "now what" , or " great, another customer" I have came in the past for several oil changes and as soon as I mention I need a tire rotation also, they give me an excuse how slammed they are and each time I tell them I'm fine with having to wait longer to get it all done. I don't have the time or patience to make another trip and they should be happy I'm trying to give them more of a sale. The final straw was yesterday. My car battery was dead so I went there after getting a jump and it looked like the place was closed. The gates were locked and the lights were dim. Mind you this is in the middle of the day. I told them I need my car battery replaced and he gives me that look of "not going to happen". He tells me they have no time today and come back tomorrow. Remind anyone of the wizard of Oz??? I told them I spoke to someone that said come before 6pm and he said that they only have one person and lots of cars to get through and just don't have the time that day. I left pist off and vowed never to come back. So yes one can argue, who the hell takes there car to Walmart ? Or what do you expect from such a ghetto establishment? Went to this location with my little brother to look for pants as we were walking out apparently some other teenagers threw milk everywhere. The manager comes walking over to me and my brother saying that we need to leave the store and that he was "not gonna trust pass us but we need to leave now" we told him over and over again that we didn't know what he was talking about and that he should check the cameras since he was telling us that we did it and that people saw us do it (the people saw the other teenagers that looked kinda like us) but he wouldn't listen. I just find it ridiculous that we got kicked out of the store just for walking in and looking at pants. I should have known better, paid a slightly higher price and saved myself the aggravation by going to Target. However I have been to other Walmart locations that haven't been so bad but this one is a disgrace!! Firstly WHY ARE THERE GIANT PILES OF PRODUCTS IN THE AISLES?!?! It is virtually impossible to navigate a cart through the main walkways when half the aisles are filled with overstocked merchandise, not to mention trying to get around slow shoppers or unobservant old people or unattended children. Secondly RECOVERY! There was merchandise and carts just strewn about everywhere in multiple areas of the store! On the most recent trip I was there on a Sunday afternoon. It was NOT a holiday or anything like that. Is it just a lack of dedication to the job by employees or poor management? - you tell me. Thirdly the Customer service is literally nonexistent!!! I have been to this location on several occasions and each time for some reason this surprises me. The 1st time I was in a hurry looking for non-slip shoes for my new job. I had checked their inventory online prior and it said they had the shoes I needed so I hoped I would be in and out. I check the shoe department and its a HUGE MESS! Boxes of shoes everywhere- on the floor, benches, under racks. Men and women's and children's all mixed up. I found an employee sitting in front of the fitting room and asked them for help. Their reply- "I'm on break." SERIOUSLY? no "I'm sorry, I can't help you," or "I'll call someone." Well never mind then! I found the shoes BY MYSELF, checked out and left. Now fast forward, its been awhile again I am closer to this location while out running errands. I head to customer service to return a rug. No one is this place looks the least bit happy, but I get it, they've probably had a long day dealing with angry people or weirdos so I give the lady the benefit of the doubt, but keep in mind this is the "Customer Service Center." Its finally my turn, again ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No "Hello, What was the problem" or "May I help you?" just "Next." Anyway I give my explanation about why I am returning my item. I am told that I need to go on the sales floor and physically get her the exact same item myself since mine do not have the tags (which is my bad). Anyone who works in retail knows 99% of items have a tag with a Style # or a SKU# that can be looked up. But No, she didn't even look for one on the item. AGAIN no apology nor an offer to call someone! (((My boyfriend was the one that mentioned if this has been Target I would never have to get it myself. Whatever I'm not the type to throw a fit I just passive aggressively write reviews I guess.)))) So I venture into the darkness of Walmart, get the same rug and store credit and leave. As I am leaving I hear 2 people ask the Customer Service Employee to speak the Store Manager. The Store manager comes down and the 1st woman complains about the woman at the counter and how rude she was. Send the people answering the phone to etiquette school. They are not welcoming on the phone and automatically on the defensive. I am not calling to argue with you. I'm calling because I'm a customer who spent money at your store looking for help and answers. Another thing that was upsetting is when they ask "how can I help you" and when you tell them and they transfer you they say "ay Yai yai." I'm sorry that I'm calling you, customer service, and asking for help. How rude of me. Then, they transfer me 4 times with the same lady asking "how can I help you?" Really?! Then, when I asked if they could help me they scream "I'm not customer service!" I'm not a friend or family member you can yell at. I'm a customer looking for help. That is unacceptable. You don't yell at someone when they are not yelling. And you don't talk over a customer who's trying to get information or ask a question. Here's some advice for next time. When a customer is asking a question don't talk over them and yell. What you do is listen and say, "yes, I understand your concern. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer for you, but let me try to find someone who can answer your question. Do you mind holding?" This review is for the Optical Department. When I went in to order frames for a new prescription. The lady was real helpful but when it came down to actually submitting the order she proceeded to tell me meet me at the register so I can collect your payment for the frames. I have worn glasses my entire life and everywhere else I got my frames from was able to have the option to pay for the frames when I picked up the frames ( in case they had to put more into the frames and it would cost more then at the time of ordering the frames at the frames area). I told the lady that I wanted to pay at pick up and at first she had a problem with it and then changed her tune after the order was already placed and submitted. She then said that she needed to make a copy of the prescription so it would be on file. As she was making the copy I made a statement and and that I thought I could pay at pick up and the other person working said sarcastically " Well there was a change in policy due to people ordering frames and not picking them up" ( should it really matter when you pay)? Nowhere in the department had notification of the "New Policy" change and they never said anything about a " New Policy" upon the start of the order. read more

Curbside pickup has gotten really frustrating. It used to be better, but the last few times it seems there is no system of helping people in the order in which they arrived, and some of the workers seem to be jerks. Tonight I had a disagreement with a smug, snotty, bearded worker. He was condescending, told me not to interrupt him while he was helping someone, said "That sucks" when I told him I'd gotten there 20 minutes before the woman he was helping, and said "You're funny" when I got angry about his attitude. Another worker, a teenage boy who stared me down the last time I was there waiting for my order, came out of the back room tonight yelling to a co-worker, "I'll beat your f***ing face in!" I was told that several of the workers called in to cancel their shift so they could go to an amusement park, so it had been a rough day. On the bright side, the girl with the pink pony tail is always nice and hard working. One of the few adults, Bardia, was amazingly diplomatic, and I pity him for working in such a hostile work environment. I teach low-achieving high school students in Chino, and I know there are plenty of nice teenagers who would like jobs, but wouldn't want to work with smug, snotty people. read more

We are a military family, so I've been to Walmarts all over the country, and so far, this is hands down the nicest one I've been to yet. I usually don't like Walmart, and prefer Target, but this one I go to often. I went to go pick up groceries from the pick up section of store after ordering hours earlier and was told they were ready. Who the hell has a pick up in the very back of the store. I'm disabled which is why picking g up and ordering sounded good. But I had to walk thru entire store to very back just to have 3 employees still not have my groceries ready and all 3 of them putting there hands all over my stuff taking there time casually gathering it. We use to shop at Walmart a ton- you could pick up groceries, pet food etc. at one stop. Once they started locking everything up I refuse to go to this store. Really, you are locking up $2.49 shaving cream- that I have to wait for an associate to unlock for me? I don't understand the thought behind this? You have much more expensive items unlocked. I visit this Walmart at least once a week. It is located near my work and I can stop in real quick after work. I always park in garden center because the front of store parking lot is very crowed. I only go to the front when I am picking up or dropping off a redbox because there machine in conveniently located right at front door. And there is two redbox machines just FYI. I have made returns at this Walmart and have never had a problem. I even bought a bike off Walmart.com and I had no issue retuning in store. Overall it is a pretty nice store. The customer service here is terrible. We have come here 2x to get infant formula and NO ONE HAS THE KEYS TO THE CABINET. We pushed the button for services wait 5 minutes no one comes. Push again wait 5 minutes. No one comes. My wife stays there as I ask any and every employee I can find for assistance, not one single one knows how to help. The very lady working freight in the infant dept doesn't even have a fricken key to the infant formula cabinet! Next girl in clothing "i dont have a walkie talkie ask someone else" the people in electronics "thats not our dept" random working walking by "just push the button" I walk literally across the entire store to by the toiletries and ask an associate where the managers office is as so I can personally ask them for assistance and her response "I dont even know who the manager is." Got an entire team of clueless associates working here. So by the time I get back to the cabinet there's another person standing by my wife and he said he got there 10 minutes before us and hes been walking around trying to get help too!!! We ended up leaving without any formula but we bought the other items we had with us only to be greeting with a cashier with headphones on listening to music not even greeting the customers at the register.
