What happened to this location? They used to be so nice and quick and now, the pharmacy doesn't answer their phone. You sit in the drive thru forever. Some days they have 1 employee maybe 2 in the store. I miss the former crew and employees, zero desire to shop here anymore. This Walgreens sucks now. Well, it looks like this location, specifically the pharmacy, has been an issue for some time now and nothing has been done. Waited in the drive thru pharmacy line for over 30 minutes with 2-3 cars leaving the line because no one ever even tended to them. I called the pharmacy and no one answered. Called the store and they answered and the lady didn't even know what day it was. Then was transferred to the pharmacy who told me they are short staffed and busy. After getting to the window I notice 3-4 employees in the pharmacy. Short staffed?? The man that was helping us was not apologetic in any way and had an attitude. Your staff is being rude to human beings that are just trying to get MEDICINE!! Never coming here again!! We went inside and there was not one person in line! They didn't even know I had insurance and tried to charge me full price. So they were ignoring the pharmacy line outside with 3 employees working and no line inside! What is going on guys!!!! We just need basic human decency!! AND it's Christmas Eve, can't even muster enough decency on Christmas Eve. Just pathetic. read more

Worst wait time for a pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and never use Walgreens as your pharmacy.

I went out of my way several times to get a prescription for the first time from Walgreens because I was trying to save some money. When I called to check on the status of the prescription, they told me that only part of the prescription was ready. They recommended that I wait until all of the order was ready and then they would call me to come pick up. After about a week, I never received a call so I stopped by the store. I found out that they had reshelved my prescription because it was never picked up. The pharmacy technician said they could fill it in about 15 minutes, however, they still did not have the syringes ready. After 20 minutes of waiting, I returned to pick up the prescription and the pharmacy tech said that the pharmacist was not going to release it for 24 hours. What a waste of time. read more

Spent two hours trying to get a prescription delivered to my home and was not successful. Every single representative I got gave me the run around. One of the reps sounded as if he hated his job, huffing & puffing on the line. After all this tried to do it on line and this was even worst there website is not user friendly too many differents tabs. At the end couldn't get it set up. Avoid this pharmacy if you can, there is CVS, Riteaid, sams club, target, Ralph's, stater brothers, vons, Albertsons... anywhere but here. Called to update my insurance and was told it's fine, call back 9/23 to have the prescription released. Called back 9/23 and was told they where out of stock of my medication and to call back Monday. Promptly after hanging up I received automated calls and texts saying my prescription was ready for pick up. Called back shortly after to clarify and was told the medication was NOT on order and wouldn't be placed on order. If they did order it the soonest possible date was 10/7 and I "should just have it moved", before I could ask another question I was hung up on. If I thought anyone cared I would call back to ask why but ultimately they will just lie or hang up on me again. read more

whoever was working the drive-through on 4:15 PM Monday, September 30 has the worst personality and attitude I've ever seen. She's rude. She's nasty. I can't believe you even hired her. She put all the drugs in the box half of them are in the back you can't reach them. She says they don't go any further which they would every time I've ever been there. They staple all of them together so when you grab one you grab them all. Somebody needs to teach her how to do her job and to be kind to people because that's her job most people that go to Pharmacy are sick and she was not nice at all. read more

Only got 1-star to begin the review. I took a COVID test on Thursday 7/7 at Walgreens... my wife took one 3 hours before me & got her results on Saturday morning via text. I got nothing back. After waiting ALL weekend. Finally had to call Walgreens on Monday to see what's happening & they informed me that the lab lost my test. They didn't bother to call, email or text me to notify that the test was lost! Walgreens said all I can do is re-take the test today Monday ... But I won't be able to be paid for sick leave by my Employer unless I have a Positive test ! I started taking Paxlovid 5 days ago & I feel fine today so I'm sure the test will be negative And I Won't Get Paid for my time off!! Thanks a Lot Walgreens!! This was my first bout with COVID & You somehow managed to make COVID even worse for a struggling family & I won't forget the incompetence! Walgreens is about a mile from my home and I used that store a lot! Never again though... The staff is always rude and inconvenienced by anyone who comes for prescriptions. This is even worse if you dare use the drive thru. We had a prescription sent over that they just went ahead and changed because they assumed it couldn't be afforded. No phone call, no text nothing. So when it came time to say no I want my full supply as ordered, change it back. They say "ok well then it's going to be another 15 minutes. But you can't wait here you need to move and come back". No one behind us in the drive thru. Can't we wait and if someone pulls in we will move? No sir you need to move or we aren't going to fill it for you. What????? I said your staff is extremely rude. The girl BREE with the completely unprofessional makeup and nails gives a thumbs up and says k thanks. Just curious when it was ok to assume someone's financial status and say "it's not affordable". Especially as an established cash pay patient with this pharmacy. I should've known it was off to a bad start when it looks like a nail tech is running the window instead of a professional. Since the patient is also a PRESCRIBER it's a little alarming that the staff thinks it's ok to just change orders as they deem fit. read more

The pharmacy manager, Briana, compromised my health by taking her personal emotions out on me as a patient. I called her out on a customer service issue. She lied and acted defensive about an issue. So what she did was cancel a prescription that I needed for my health because she was upset at me. I needed that medicine right away. She also said she will cancel all prescriptions from any doctor. It is very unethical and unprofessional that she takes out her revenge out on patients like this. I have been a customer of Walgreens for over 20 years and I have never encountered such repugnant and unethical behavior. I talked to her manager and he admitted her behavior was wrong. read more

My husband and I went there on November 9th and received the Covid booster shot. The lady/pharmacist that gave the injections was terrible when I got mine. Never had a shot hurt like that or have it jabbed into my arm like she did. I had some light soreness with both my Covid vaccines but this was so painful that I couldn't sleep all night. Have never had any injection cause that much pain. I would never go there again for any kind of shot. The pharmacy part is ok but that particular person that gave the shots definitely was not. This is quite possibly the SLOWEST pharmacy I've ever been to in my entire life! I went to the drive thru and there were 3 cars ahead of me. After 15 minutes of no movement, I decided to park and go inside. Inside was even WORSE! There were 3 people ahead of me and the line didn't move. After another 15 minutes of no movement, I checked the drive thru and the same cars were still there!!! And it's not as if they had no employees. There were about six people behind the counter! I ended up just leaving. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! And the worst part was, there was absolutely no sense of urgency in these employees. Trust me, go elsewhere! read more

I am not someone who's at a pharmacy very often, but none the less my experience was well. I went to a dentist to have wisdom teeth removed. I was given 2 prescriptions. I went there an hour later and it was ready to go, and there was only 1 car ahead of me in the drive through, and he was out of there pretty quick. A few days later my dentist gave me another prescription to help with post op teeth grinding. About an hour later I get a call to advise me my insurance doesn't cover this specific dose, and would I like them to call my dentist to see if he would change the dosage to something my insurance was covered. I politely declined. An hour after that I received a call informing me my medication was ready. When I arrived 30 minutes after that, again only 1 car ahead of me who was quick, and I had my prescription very shortly after. read more

I had a terrible migraine and had to run in just to garb two items. I'd like to preface this by saying everyone can have bad days and you don't know if someone has ahead a really rough morning or not. With that being said, The man at the front counter rang up my stuff and saw I had an Apple Card, I thought it was a tap version when he said "yeah the Apple Card doesn't tap you have to use the chip". It had a small little picture trying to show the chip reader was facing down but it was so small that I just asked to make sure what it was. All I said was, "is the chip reader up or down?" Just a basic question for a simple answer. To which the man stated, "uhhhh it's pretty clear on the picture shown, it's facing down". Now me being a bit uncomfortable and wanting to lighten the mood I joked with a smile and said "we'll to be fair it's not the best picture, but alright down it is!" And he clearly rude and curt said "well what do you want me to do about it? How should we change it or make it better for you?" To which I recoiled and said in a soft tone, "it's fine, it's not a problem, no worries". And he kind of just shook his head again clearly upset and with the receipt printing he said in again quite a rude tone which is ironic because he said "well then have a good day" and I, a bit confused, just said softly, "thanks you too". Now I work in retail and our card reader machine is weird, it's a clover but most clovers have the chip reader at the bottom but ours is on the top and it's also behind the swipe part so it always has people putting it in wrong. I always just say, "our machine is a little odd here let me help" and I proceed to just do it for them. Most times I get statements like "this is a bad machine" or "why is it like that?" My response is to just always agree with them. I'll say things like, "I know it is a weird machine" or even "yeah it's odd but it works once you get used to it" I would never say to someone, "well what do you want me to do about it? How should I change it to make it better for you?" Like that's clearly just confrontational and rude. The man could have simple just laughed with me and said "yeah the picture is quite small" or "yeah it's an odd machine" but he has to be impertinent and just try and be combative about it? Again I know we all have bad days. Heck my migraine was the worst its been in years, and I was so nauseous and drained that I didn't bother explaining to him how Id treat that situation at my work. I'm no one's teacher but I feel like we need to be kind to one another and understanding with a bit of humor. I wish that guy the best and hope his day gets better. A part of me always questions if I was in the wrong. Did I do anything to make him upset at me? Was it maybe just the way I looked or said things? At the end of the day I just hope it all came down to him having a bad day because if he's like that to every customer, where instead of just joking and agreeing, even if the person is wrong! He decides to make a deal out of it, then well I just wish that Walgreens good luck. read more

Update 4/6/23 Had to file two complaints with corporate again this week because a pharmacist at this location (Syun or Soon - unsure of spelling) violated privacy laws by giving my contact information to CVS without my permission! I don't even know how to begin to understand why she felt that was ok and legal to do! She was incorrectly billing a prescription and I had already verified with my insurance company what the copay should be, and she refused to figure out why when she billed it it was about three times the amount of my verified copay. She told me to go to CVS if I don't like how she does things and that she will not be helping me further. I told her it's her responsibility to fix this problem and to ask for help if she doesn't know why this billing problem is happening. She told me she doesn't need help and I can either pay the very high price she's coming up with or go to another pharmacy, CVS specifically, and she can give me their number. I told her no. Then she hung up on me and wouldn't answer when I called back. I then immediately got three calls in a row from CVS. I don't use CVS (they're even worse than Walgreens, which says a lot) so there's no reason they would call me for any other reason, let alone three times in a row. I did not authorize her to give my phone number out or any personal information, in fact I specifically told her I didn't want to go to CVS, but she violated my privacy and health care law by doing so anyway. Currently can't get that prescription because I can't afford the high incorrect price she's demanding. My health insurance company can't force her to believe them. They already tried by calling her and telling her personally she's billing it wrong. I ended up crying in my car and calling the corporate line to ask for help and make a complaint. By the way, the pharmacist told me she's fine with that and to go ahead and complain, that it won't change that she won't look into the problem. This all happened at the end of two hours of multiple calls to this Walgreens and my health insurance company to get this and other medications taken care of. When I first called the pharmacy tech who answered told me that she won't help me because I'm "acting like a child" and proceeded to hang up on me every time I called back. She also refused to tell me her name repeatedly, and lied about no one else being in the pharmacy for me to talk to. The manager later confirmed there were four people working there. She also told me I'd never been to this pharmacy before when I said I have a problem here every time I come here. I come here weekly, sometimes more. This pharmacy is out of control and this is reflected in the other reviews also posted here. I wish I didn't have to go to the pharmacy so often as I absolutely dread it. People who don't like working around sick people or people with serious health issues that aren't always in the best mood due to their symptoms and stress really should find other jobs outside of health care. It's harmful to customers to treat them like this and shows extreme lack of compassion and even basic standards of care. read more

They refused to sell a pack of beer to my husband although he showed his ID & can legally make this purchase. My husband and I visited this location to purchase a few items one being a pack of beer. When we got to the register the cashier named Leanne asked for his ID since he was making the purchase ... BUT then she asked for mine. I didn't have my ID on me so she told him he couldn't buy it. She said she had to card me in order for him to be able to buy it. This was new to both of us so we asked for the manager. The manager immediately agreed with the cashier and said they won't sell him the beer until I show my ID. She said it was company policy to card everyone who is with you when purchasing alcoholic beverages (what if I was pregnant? what if we had a child? etc.) so I asked to see the policy. I have a picture of the policy and nowhere on the policy or in the store does it say they have to card the entire party. After I summited my complaint to the Customer Relations department I received a call from the Store Manager Josephine who explained they have to card everyone purchasing alcoholic beverages even if they are 95 years old (keep in mind I'm over 21 & I wasn't making the purchase). She continued speaking and said to me that if I didn't want to be carded in the future (even if I'm not making the purchase) that: 1) I shouldn't be seen talking to my husband 2) I shouldn't walk beside or near my husband 3) I shouldn't touch any alcoholic beverage 4) I shouldn't walk down the aisle where they have the alcoholic beverages 5) I shouldn't walk up with him to the register Everyone who I spoke to from Walgreens regarding this entire incident (total 4 people) haven't shown any concern. read more

Laughably poor service at this Walgreens pharmacy. These guys are going for the gold medal in "making it as difficult as possible for people to fill their prescriptions." I entered my prescription through Walgreens.com. I've already filled it here before, and it had several refills on it. I got a voicemail saying that they didn't have my health insurance information and couldn't refill my prescription. So they cancelled the refill. I have already given them my health insurance information. That's how I got my prescription filled the first time, and it's why the prescription is in their system for refills....... or, it WAS in their system. Now they fully deleted my prescription from their system. So I called them and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited..... every few minutes the phone would ring, and they'd pick it up and tell me to hold, without talking to me -- just "hold..." and immediately put me on hold. Pharmacy staff: have some self-respect and dignity. Yes, you work at freakin' Walgreens for a living. But you're helping people get their medicine. Take pride in that, and show that you actually care. read more
