This was honestly one of the most chaotic pharmacy experiences I've ever had…read more I received a text saying my prescription was ready for pickup, so I stopped in. The pharmacy line was about 10 people deep, which already took a while. After finally reaching the counter, I was told my prescription was already bagged but I needed to sit down and wait another 20 minutes because the pharmacist still had to "remove the cap" before it could be sold. I have never heard of standing in line, reaching the counter, and then being sent away to wait again for something that was supposedly ready and already sitting in the bag. Meanwhile the line barely moved because several people were having full medical consultations and insurance debates at the register while everyone else waited. What should have been a quick pickup turned into a long, frustrating ordeal. If the prescription isn't actually ready, don't send a "ready for pickup" text. It wastes everyone's time. I tried this location because I happened to be nearby, but after this experience I'll gladly go back to my usual pharmacy. Even a slightly rude pharmacy is preferable to this level of disorganization.

A pharmacist from a different pharmacy ended up giving me a great recommendation which I followed and helped me so much, my kid got sick again and got recommended the same thing now I called yesterday to order the medication and I was told I can pick up today Thursday, I called in the morning and was told it would be ready at 12:30, great! I went to pick up at 1 just to give extra time, on top of the wait which I usually mind I get to my turn and the person at the cashier tells me it's not ready and that it's getting "mixed" I ask how long and they say let me ask then the pharmacist comes out and tells me they don't have the medicine and then changes it to it's this (Walgreens brand of cold and cough medicine) mind you I can see the paper he's holding with the name of the medication I'm supposed to get and that I called with so much anticipation to make sure I get the correct prescription.
