I think the pharmacist may be a bit rude! (An understatement) I was in the ER for hours today, jul 23, over a miscarriage. Prescribed a controlled substance for the pain, (god forbid), and on arriving home my chosen cvs was nearly closed.. they suggested I call here to make sure it's ok to request a transfer, noting that it said "action required" on my cvs account.. (the original location agreed to fill anyhow in the morning, I guess they have an inkling of humanity?) but, I did try to call here first to see about getting it filled sooner, tonight. Well, apparently there wasn't enough info for the woman pharmacist here. Fine. So, I said I would bring my ER paperwork with me, in person. She rejected the idea very quickly and rudely. The contempt in her voice was unmistakable. ((I guess I have to go out of my way to prove to the woman that I indeed am having a miscarriage, even though the prescription was clearly ordered by the ER!!!)) ..and I have all the paperwork to prove it. I even have an online patient portal! but this woman must think I'm a freaking hacker who hacked the whole damn hospital system, because I guess the one in a million chance is worth playing it safe at my expense. She sure doesn't have to feel any pain so why would she loose sleep. LOL. so messed up She didn't even offer to call on my behalf! No courtesy at all. She just completely shut me down and made me feel like crap for even asking. As if my situation was not horrible enough. I want to add that I don't get prescribed controlled substances, like EVER, and the ONE TIME I do, in a terrible state, I get treated like this.. it is SO disappointing, in fact, that I am thinking about calling corporate and being that person.. I go to CVS because I have an OTC card through my health insurance. The employees at this location and the 29171 Newport Rd location in Menifee are incredibly rude. The store is always a mess and the wait time to pick up a prescription is ridiculous! I've moved my prescriptions, but unfortunately I can't move my OTC card. The Indian female pharmacist with the horrible-smelling perfume is so angry, and I'm not sure why. Her perfume was so loud it was permeating from the drive-thru window into my car. Anyway, the clerks were all nice. This woman was angry and very aggressive with me because I had a prescription for a controlled substance from a doctor in a nearby city. She was like, "Your doctor is 50 miles away and this is a controlled substance, and we need to talk to him." She was very angry with me after the clerk had told me that the prescription was going to be filled. I need that woman to get some self-control. It's just a job. After 3 errors in Rx this month I would strongly suggest that you go elsewhere. First 2 errors were minor - i paid for 6 pills and received 5, and 7 days of antibiotics instead of 5 days. The 3rd error shorted me 90 pills and changed drs orders. No apology from CVS or acceptance of responsibility. I will be changing my pharmacy for sure. read more

Terrible customer service. I got a ton of attitude when I said no I don't have my barcode app to scan. I don't even know what barcode she is talking about. Then she handed me the meds without saying a word, followed by quickly closing the drivethru window. I couldn't even finish saying thank you. Which I did, no response. One of the real pluses with this CVS location is that it has been updated inside, very bright, inviting and very easy to navigate. They force you to leave a voicemail but then call back and leave no details over a hour later. Just tell you call back. You do and are again forced to leave another voicemail. I came in for a covid Vaccine and was pleasantly greeted quickly confirmed and signed in then when I was given the wrong report card the Pharmacist ant the pickup window quickly went into action to correct another's mistake. This lady was kind caring and empathetic reassuring me the shot was quick and painless. During my shot process, I thought it was handled well, efficient and with little to no wait. My husband broke his wrist, went to the emergency room and had his prescriptions electronically sent to this CVS and for whatever reason they state they did not get it three times that it was sent and even after going back to the ER to confirm that it was sent and seeing the monitor showing it was sent 3XS - CVS still failed to help us even though it can be seen in his face there is tremendous pain! From one excuse to another, please stop telling people lies! I witnessed this happening to several patients trying to pick up prescriptions. The PHARMACY is terrible. They just closed our Rite Aid on Newport Road which we absolutely loved and sent all of our prescriptions to this Menifee CVS. Our first encounter with them was absolutely horrible. The girl on the phone was so rude and short with us. You would think with being gifted new clientele that they would make a small effort to be at least cordial. Not this girl. We gave them 2 hours as they said, and my husband, who is incredibly patient went to pick up his prescription. He waited in the drive thru line for over 25 minutes, and it still wasn't ready. He asked the girl at the counter, which I would guess was the same one from the phone call earlier, how much longer until it would be ready. She rudely said, " I don't know, 5 or 10 minutes." That was enough rudeness for us. Long story short. We will be transferring all of our prescriptions over to either Rite Aid on Newport near the Lakes or to the Walgreens in Menifee. I wish I knew where they sent the people that worked at the old Rite Aid. They were wonderful. I will miss them. read more
