They are truly amazing!!! My wife is lactose intolerant and some medications we are unable to get commercially without lactose. I've had one order that went okay with them and the rest have been one error after another. There are communication issues and it's frustrating when you drive all the way down there and your prescription is incorrect or missing? Today I sent my husband in to pick up my prescription and they gave him an old one, which I don't use anymore. They told him that's all they had. So I called and they found the correct one, said it was there the whole time. So we have to make another trip down there and will be last time I use them. Made the trip back and they AGAIN said they didn't have anything for me. She finally checked a different area and found it. Inconsistent and unprofessional. read more

This pharmacy is really out of the way. They ask you for a time you're going to pick up the medicine. Don't waste your breath it won't be ready anyhow. Call before coming to pick anything up. They don't accept United HealthCare insurance. So be prepared to pay out the nose to get meds. Unfortunately this is the only compounding pharmacy in the area, so your bent over a barrel. read more

They always get their wires crossed with one another and say they DIDN'T call to tell me a RX was ready for pickup, and then this month THEY SAID THEY DID CALL. I have a Smartphone and it was evident they did not call this time and that they DID call last month. THE PHARMACIST IS COMPLETELY CONDENSENDING, RUDE AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT "CARING" ABOUT ANYONE. lets put it this way. for something they charge me around $100+, I found La Vita Compound Pharmacy in San Diego charged $30. Also ICP plays the doctor role and tells you what they want you to do. That's illegal bc doctors orders are superior to the pharmacies. I highly Recommend La Vita Compound Pharmacy, they ship as well. Definitely worth the drive from Murrieta area. read more

Im very disappointed in this Pharmacy. They don't call you in a timely manner when your medication is ready. When I asked why they didn't call me the girl on the phone had an attitude about it! I have been using this pharmacy since 2000 for BioIdenticals. I moved to Kentucky in 2008 and tried another compounding pharmacy in Kentucky and was so disappointment with the results. So I tried at least 4 other Pharmacy and was still disappointed. So I came back to Innovative. Yes I have to pay for the shipping, but you know what? My prescription comes out right every time. I had gotten my medication from here for a few years and had no issues until I moved and asked to have my prescription mailed to me. I gave my new address and paid for my medication. After waiting for 6 days I called and asked what address the medication was mail too. They mailed it to the wrong address. I live 45 minutes away and after talking to the pharmacist I was told "My staff doesn't make those mistakes." I paid for a 90 day supply and they will give me a 30 day up front. I now have to drive 90 minutes to pick up the 30 day supply and was treated beyond rudely by the pharmacist. I will be changing pharmacies! read more

They did close for the weekend. I didn't make the dog's appt on a Friday afternoon. My daughter did. Its a "COMPOUNDING PHARMACY. " Why they had to bother the Vet on A Monday morning instead of just making it, " I DON'T KNOW. Well we got it in the afternoon. From Friday till Monday not bad. BUT THE DOG WAS IN AGONY THE WHOLE WEEKEND. Needle in your eye pain. Bothering doctors over Rx's already written should be illegal. I learned chemistry in H.S , plus college + then some. Bothering my VET whose wife is getting hip replacement surgery this week. The VET + his wife are seniors. Experienced vet in practice some 40+ years. Same town. This is Elder Abuse in my opinion. I called in my compounded rx for renewal and when I went to pick it up I was advised that the cost of my prescription was now $90.00 instead of $75.00. I should have been told this BEFORE they filled the rx. I changed to another pharmacy and now I pay $63.00 for the very same rx. It's unethical to raise prices by 20% and wait to tell the customer about the price increase when they come in to pick it up. BAD EXPERIENCE! The pharmacist, "Sam", must be self medicating, either that or he needs to be self medicating! Yells at me on the phone when I called to attempt to find out what the problem was in not filling my Rx. He states that my doctor is a liar, refused to fill an Rx which my doctor said she sent last week, and that she said he called her telling her he was "uncomfortable" filling! I called him to find out what was going on and he DENIED EVERYTHING! Said he didnt speak to my doctor at all, never called her, as she stated, and left me totally confused and without a prescription! Odd, since his own STAFF there spoke to me on Tuesday saying they HAD received the Rx and would be filling it and calling me! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! This place brought out the absolute worst in me. I picked up my prescription and they practically threw it at me with no explanation whatsoever. I asked a few questions and the girl could not answer any of them at all. I asked if there was a pharmacist that could and she said yes. However, after waiting over 15 minutes she told me sorry she did not have anyone there to help me but that I could call back tomorrow. I called my doctor and asked her about the prescription--she answered a lot of my questions but said the rest of my questions with regard to possible side effects would need to be answered by the pharmacist. I contacted the pharmacy and asked for an owner or a pharmacist and was informed that one of the pharmacists was an owner and she connected me to him. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING. He did not answer my questions at all about the possible side effects of the non-brand ingredients used in my medication. He simply kept reapeating, "talk to your doctor." I told him that I had and that my doctor told me that it is the responsibility of the pharmacist to answer those specific questions and that by law is is the pharmacist's responsibility. He that got furious and started screaming like a girl through the phone at me. I called my doctor, the doctor called the pharmacist, and then my doctor called me back and told me that the owner had banned me from the pharmacy. I then found out that the next closest pharmacy that could fill the prescription was in Nevada. I use them not and they are so nice and professional. I get so much better service from them even though they are 200 miles away. read more

In defense of all the negative reviews, I will say I had a very positive experience. My vet told me the prescription might be ready today, or it might have to wait until Monday, and the pharmacy would give me a call. Well, the pharmacy called a short time later, said it was ready, and waited patiently so I could type in the address on my pad. Easy to find, and it took less than 5 minutes to walk in, give them my name (and address for security purposes I suppose), pay, and walk out. The place is very clean and professional. No, they weren't overly friendly--they were professional. I did not get to meet the "horrendously rude owner" and quite frankly as long as he fills the prescription accurately that's all that matters to me. I don't want a pharmaceutical staff to be giggling all over the place. The person who helped me said matter-of-factly to keep the prescription refrigerated, then asked whether I needed a consultation. (The bag had a huge CONSULT stamped in red on it.) The label had full instructions, and my vet had also given me a couple tips. So I said no, she said thank you, and I left quite happy. I was amazed to read all the negative reviews. I don't care if the owner is a jerk and the staff is business-like. I found them to be professional and when my cat's fungus disappears I'll be even more pleased. read more

I love this pharmacy! The fact that Temecula and Murrieta has access to a compounding facility that actually crafts and creates their prescriptions is a true gift - especially for my family. I wanted to take this moment to thank Sam for his personal and attentive care. My daughter was experiencing a severe diaper rash on a Friday and when I called their store at 5:15 Sam took my call even though they were getting ready to close and told me he would make my daughter's prescription and have it ready by 7pm. The main pharmacist has no customer service skills. I called in because a perscription I received was incomplete. When I spoke to him, he nearly started an argument 3 or 4 times --I actually had to calm him down. He is reactive, and seems ok with cheating customers. Their voicemail message says "We make it right". Not so. A rip off! read more

I've actually had great experience with this company. Yes out of the way but it's not so bad I can't go by while doing other shopping. They've had my prescription ready promptly which is great when I've waited to the last minute to refill and need it now! I am not sure why they don't put detailed information with the prescription but I agree, they should be. The gals have always been nice and friendly even told me how I could save on a prescription I would be filling so often. The savings are so good that every 3 months it's almost free!
