They are not very good at renewing necessary prescriptions in a timely manner. Very stressful experience to say the least.

We switched last year on the recommendation of my son. They were able to get my prescription filled immediately whereas a big box pharmacy couldn't. Lou and company are wonderful people. My husband used to pick up his medication at this pharmacy and sometimes I accompanied him. He passed away and it was more than two years later when I returned to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription of my own. They asked about him warily, I think because they suspected the worst. When I told them he had passed, they expressed such heartfelt and genuine remorse. I rarely go there but whenever I do, they feel like family. And I love that they remembered my husband. I found them because my boys pediatrician is in the same plaza. Love this pharmacy, the techs and pharmacist are always so helpful. I'm here a lot due to an epileptic son they know me by name now. When I bring my boys with me they offer them candy and I always appreciate the phone calls asking if we need a refill. They've always been able to get our refills done the same day if not next day. I just recently switched to this pharmacy after battling with the pharmacy with green walls for months... I found them here in yelp and I'm so glad I did... I was able to have my prescriptions called in and picked up quickly from their friendly staff... My expectations were pretty low after dealing with my previous place but Lake View made it so easy... They talked to my doctors and insurance company to get everything covered and called me when they were ready no miss no fuss... When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly Hello and a smile, they had my order ready and got me in and out... It was such a relief the whole thing went so smoothly... Just stopped by to get some blood work done at Labcorp. Saw Lake View pharmacy was in the same building and realized I had a prescription that I was having trouble getting fulfilled. So I stopped in to see if they could fill my prescription. The techs behind the counter were very helpful and filled the prescription. The pharmacist was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the wait was about 15 mins, which is pretty good for my first prescription filled. Most other places I have used are at least a 30 minute or longer on your first filled prescription. I will definitely be sending all my prescriptions there from now on. read more

Great pharmacy! Fills rx in timely manner, if they tell you an hour then it's an hour not whoops sorry wait some more like the big chains. Told me about over the counter meds my child's insurance covers that I never knew about! If I had gone there 1st would have saved me tons of money! What I like most about this place is their personal touch. My father had is prescriptions filled here. After a few times of visiting this pharmacy to pick up his meds, I switched my prescriptions here. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. I've been having problems (health) and the pharmacist (Lou) is never too busy to provide assistance and help me undertand. I'm not exagerating when I say it's like having a 'private doctor' for consultations - except he's always available, and without an appointment. You should feel confident speaking to him. He's a wealth of knowledge. I recently went to see him, just to ask his opinion about a recent situation. He had customers waiting, but told me to "hold on a second," and was helping me in no time. This is the service this country used to be famous for, but finding it now is too rare. read more
