Always busy here at the Keeaumoku location. Security guards, welcome greeters and mostly smiles abound. Just outside the entrance to Walmart can be sketchy at times. Today the police and security presence was duly noted. Here to pick up birthday card packs for my Dad. Value packs are great. Side tracked to the craft sections and picked up a few patches. I couldn't resist it. Service was fast and friendly here. I didn't go to the self checkout lines as it was crowded. The assisted check out had no line! If you're hungry, you can order a plate lunch or burger to go at L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

Everyone has been to Walmart at some point of their lives. It's nothing special and often overlooked. This Walmart is near Ala Moana Center which is convenient for tourists and residents in town. The parking lot can be a mess and some stalls are wider than others. They did invest into charging stations with a 3 hour maximum time limit for customers only. Hopefully that will open up soon. This Walmart offers all your typical items but also a "grocery" section too which is nice for all those people shopping for groceries at Walmart. Their rotating holiday section is always popular and the Hawai'i section is great for those looking for gifts to take with them back home or to visit friends/family. The reason why I decided to review them is because I recently had to get Passport photos taken. It is required for the IDP I applied for and I didn't want to pay a lot at AAA. Last time I needed them, I did it at Walgreens but they are no longer here. Previous time before Walgreens was done in Chinatown but with crime rate up and all the homeless people there, I didn't want to risk it just for Passport photos. Parking in Chinatown around the spot for Passport photos is also an issue. I called Walmart to confirm they did it and they do in the electronics section of the store. It's in the back of the store for those not familiar. I stood in line at the register in electronics and the Walmart associate was helpful when it was my turn. He advised me to sit on the stool next to the register in front of a white backdrop. I did as instructed and he took two quick photos. He showed them to me and I approved. The associate told me to come back in 30 minutes and it'll be ready. I went to check out Sam's Club and came back in 20 minutes. His coworker recognized me from earlier and got my photos then took payment as the original associate was helping another customer. This was a quick and very positive experience! The photos were only $8 for two so that was very inexpensive. Good spot for Passport photos in a rush.

Quality/Quantity - This is where we usually do some of our gift shopping. But I ended up buying myself a new really cool dry fit Tommy Bahama style University of HI shirt! I'm sure my wife also got herself a few items. Anyways, back to gift shopping. The friends we are visiting in AU and NZ deserve much better gifts than from Walmart (or Costco); see other Yelp reviews. So we actually did not buy any gifts from here on this trip. Atmosphere - It's a Walmart, consistent. Not in a good or bad way. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. Service - Self service, so good. Price - Inexpensive, I do not even check prices with this brand. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, the world's largest company by revenue, $548+ billion. 12+ stores in HI, 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California.

Feels so dirty here. The parking lot is dark, feels unsafe. The fluorescent lighting in the store leaves a ghostly feel.

How much for a carton of cigarettes?

They do not sell cigarettes .

If I order online and choose pick up, is there a designated parking stall where they bring the item to my vehicle? Or do I need to go inside the store to pick it up myself?

Yes, the curbside pickup stalls are just outside the parking structure, on the Sheridan street side. It's outside where they usually have the Christmas trees during the holidays. There's like 6 stalls that you can park in and follow the directions…

Is there a coin star machine here?

Yes it is usually in the front.

Hi from the u.k. , do you sell electric bikes?,is it possible to order one from walmarts web site? and have my brother pick it up from your store in Hawaii?

Not in the store. But Walmart may sell electric bikes on website. Walmart offers the option to pick up online orders at stores.

Do you folks do ear piercing?

    No.

Is there a bakery at this location?

No BAKERY at this location, but there is LOAF of breads and other small pastries that's pre-packed. ALOHA 🤙🏾

Is there a deli here for sliced meats or groceries like bacon and eggs, bread, salad stuff? Mahalo.

No deli. It has some groceries including eggs, bacon, bread.

I got a FE diaperbag as a gift but had NO IDEA how to use it - it's an older version with the bassinet attachment. It was from an aunty, NWOT, and I don't mind it didn't have tags, or that it's an older version. I've always been the kind of girlie to thrift shop because I'm not a fan of what the clothing industry has done to our planet. This is why we went to FE-Kapolei in the first place: for someone to help us figure out how to use this thing. Read my review for the Kapolei location to know what happens next. Anyways, since that first visit, I visited FE a bunch of times because of their baby clothes. One reason I'm also not a FE person is the prints are too much for me. Put it this way, the only print I would kind of consider wearing is the simple fish print in black, no other colors! And then next thing you know, there's also a baby section as well for my son! Having a baby changes you, I'll still thrift for my clothes, but I wouldn't mind getting my son the newest clothes from a locally owned, woman ran business. Also, I LOVE being able to text the store and reserve items, no driving all the way to find out it's not there! And the quality of the clothes is definitely there. Decided to buy a baby onesie for our family photos and another baby onesie for our friends who are pregnant. I know baby clothes don't last long, but I just couldn't help myself! Overall, I may only like a couple things from FE, but the fact that it's supporting local is a big plus for me! Also, the quality of the clothing is so great considering the price.

Their online drops are legendary--beautiful, meaningful designs rooted in Hawaiian culture--but blink and you'll miss them. The shop is small but thoughtfully curated, with just one of each size available--so every piece feels extra special. There are a few parking spots right out front (a gift in itself on Monsarrat!), and the whole experience feels intimate and intentional. From the hand-printed fabrics to the cultural storytelling woven into every design, Kealopiko is more than a clothing brand--it's a celebration of place, language, and identity. I saw the reviews of others saying that the service isn't super friendly. I get it. I live with some pretty angry Hawaiians and I get that it's hard to be happy all the time living here and working in an area filled with tourists. The few times I've been here, service has been a mixed bag. But they all get the job done. They'll usually try to give you a new item (instead of the display items) if they have any in stock. I think they are card only. Ofc the most difficult thing about kealopiko is how exclusive it is. They make their clothes in small batches and hand print the material. It's good quality items and honestly less expensive than some other locally owned stores, so I like shopping here. It's just sometimes hard to get your hands on things. I'll definitely be back. I try to follow them on Instagram so that I can head to the store when they do a drop. It was definitely easier when I lived in town.

Arrive very early. The line starts well before sunrise. On Tuesday, the first person arrived at 4:50 AM; I got there at 6:00 AM and was already in the third section of the line. Another day I arrived at 3:45 AM thinking I would be first, but someone had been there since 3:30 AM. Small sizes are especially difficult to get. If you line up before 8:00 AM, you'll generally have a better chance at Medium through XXL. 2. They may open before the posted time. Although the store lists a 10:00 AM opening, it has opened around 9:15 AM. 3. Use the next-day exchange option. If your preferred size is unavailable, buy an available size and return around 9:00 AM the following day to exchange it. Keep in mind that exchanges are only for swapping sizes. You cannot purchase additional items during that visit. And since Small sells out quickly, it may still be difficult to exchange into one. Overall, the staff is friendly and professional, especially considering they manage huge crowds all day and answer the same questions repeatedly. Great store, but treat it like an early-morning event rather than a casual shopping stop. Value - get ride to pay for an arm & leg: - T-shirts: $45 - Hoodies: $130 - Zipper Hoodies: $140 - Jackets: $200+
