Echoes of Hong Kong
Huong N.

Stopped in Billings during our road trip across the country and found Walkers through Yelp so we decided to have dinner here. We were seated immediately even though we didn't have a reservation which was great. There appears to be a lot of tables and bar seats, but definitely can see this place filling up quickly. The service was wonderful-- waters were brought to our table immediately and our drinks came out quickly. I had the "Echoes of Hong Kong" which was very alcohol forward and I could barely taste the pandan. Their Ca Phe Tini is their take on an espresso martini, and it was delicious! Our table ordered the burrata appetizer which was fantastic and definitely recommend others try. The burrata is served on corn bread with honey butter, peaches and pickled fresnos-- so good! For the mains, our party of four had the pork shank (which was served on whipped potatoes and topped with cabbage and bourbon apples-- this is good for people who love the "sweet and salty" combo. Also, a huge portion.), Casey's Korean beef bowl (I got the 1/2 serving which is 5 ounces of noodles; the sauce was the perfect amount of heat and there was plenty of bulgogi style beef that came with the dish), the scallop special of the day (I didn't try, but was told this was excellent), and steak salad (I also didn't try, but was told while the flavor was good, the steak was a little raw as it was asked to be cooked medium rare and was more on the rare side). Would definitely recommend this place to others, and would visit again next time in in Billings.

The food was delicious! We ordered the meatloaf made with their home made bread and apple glazed pork shank with apples and onions. Both were outstanding. The waitress Lacey was excellent, very knowledgeable and knew all the ingredients. She told us the pork shank was large portion and the meatloaf came in two pieces that we could share. She was absolutely right, we shared the meatloaf, it was the best we had ever eaten. The pork shank was so tender and savory with the apples. The restaurant is modern yet homey, drinks were great and we ordered wine Absidian Volcanic Red . This was a blended wine made in Oregon, Washington and California. We liked it so much we ordered a case on line. We highly recommend Walkers!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this establishment. From the moment we walked in to this Cattle Ranch inspired Dinner house I was in Awe. The decor is Classy Cowboy. Jessica our server was spot-on! The food was excellent! My Scallops were perfectly Seared Crisp yet MR in the center and the sauce married well with the dish. Deviled Eggs are also excellent. My Cocktail was perfectly executed as well. Nick the Chef and Owner even stopped by to check on us!

Catch of the day, sockeye salmon, with quinoa and a delicious broth and dill yogurt. Very good!

Food was amazing as usual, service was quick and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant always is quiet and relaxed, never rushed or feel like a bother to anyone. Highly recommended.

Billings delivers! The Burrata appetizer sitting on a crispy corn bread with peaches was delicious, mostly because the Fresno chiles gave the heat that was needed! I ordered the obligatory Pork Shank, but substituted polenta for the potato mash. Do it if you can. It was heavenly. Because, in my childhood, I always put potato chips in my PB&J sandwich, I ordered the PB&J pie with potato chip crumble on top! So good! Finally, I started my night with the "nearly perfect" cocktail and I ended the night with Robyn's mulled wine. Chefs kiss to both.

We were walking around and this looked good so we stopped in. Pretty good food and service, better than I was expecting in a small town. It was relatively busy but not too loud.

This is one of their many desserts. It's named after their son and is right and lemony.

We are foodies and extremely particular looking for good food! Walkers delivered five star service in every area. I would call the food, fine dining!! We were welcomed to come in as we were traveling campers & it is very nice atmosphere! It could be black tie to shorts and a T-shirt. Fun atmosphere. The employees all treated us as if we were royalty. And we had been camping so it's not like we looked like royalty. Lol. From the cocktails, to the beet salad, to the scallop and risotto special to Walker signature burger were absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection as the burger was perfect medium rare and the scallops melted in my mouth !!!! If we would've been on camera you would've seen our eyes keep rolling as we said mmmmmmm! The deviled eggs were absolutely delicious! (Im from the midwest & never thought a restaurant would have good deviled eggs. I ate my words because these were amazing! We are traveling from Nebraska to the west coast and my husband found this wonderful restaurant on a yelp app. Not only was our waitress professional, kind, fun, informative, the other employees walking around always double checked to make sure if we needed anything. The owner visited us more than once. Nick was a gem for sure. So friendly, sincere, kind, professional, helpful and gracious. My husband & i talked about this restaurant all last night! My husband said he thinks he even dreamt about it. Lol We spoke about it today as we drove hundreds of miles that it was a God thing that we found that restaurant. Thank you to Nick and all of his employees, even though we live 1000 miles away if we come on any vacation this way you will be on the top of the list.

There's soooo many amazing choices for food in Billings now!! I'm here for business, hungry as usual and wanted to find some fab foods. I searched "farm to table" restaurants; Walkers was one of the ones that came up and the best option for a Monday night. They're busy tonight so the food time was a bit delayed yet well worth the wait! Restaurant is clean. It was noisy tonight but not bothersome. Excellent service from Jessica tonight. She's very familiar with the menu, gluten free option, the wines... there were no questions she couldn't answer. I'll be back!

Great place for cocktails or a meal. The pork chop is first rate. I've also had the bolgogi beef before and that's great too.

We waited about 20min and the line was longer than when we arrived. AND FOR GOOD REASON!! There was only one young woman working behind the counter - I guess the other employee couldn't make it in - but she was crushing it! She wasn't flustered by the crowd, she was still friendly and smiling, talkative, and professional. Once I ordered, I knew I'd made the right choice to wait in line. I got a double scoop with chocolate and white mint Oreo. The chocolate was decadent and rich. Super creamy! The white mint Oreo was just the right balance of minty with huge chunks of Oreo. Also super creamy! Met a local in line if front of me and he said it was worth the wait. He was right! If you're an ice cream fanatic like me, Big Dipper is worth every penny of cost and every second of waiting! HIGHLY recommend!

They painted, renovated a bit, but have not gotten new signage yet-so the old Log Cabin sign is still up. The owner and his friend run things at this cafe and they are so friendly and helpful. The menu is approachable, affordable, and creative. They voiced that the goal was to have an affordable and healthy option in Billings for families. And that it is! They try to source all ingredients locally, they make their own breads and sweets, and partner with local citizens who grow greens, veggies, etc. Their hours are not set yet as they are just starting up but I know they are open for lunches on week days and brunch on Saturday starting at 10AM. I had the croissant French toast which is soaked in vanilla cream overnight (SO GOOD) and my husband had eggs with avocado toast (4 thick slices with generous amounts of avocado) and the side of potatoes was amazing-rosemary flavored and crispy. These meals were about $7 each. It was a deal. We will definitely be returning! The owners kids and wife came by as we were finishing and it was hard to pull our daughter away from playing with his crew, who generously shared their toys with her. This is a gem and I hope they thrive in Billings!

I was impressed by all of the flavor options for the dipped part of the dipped cones, and service was quick. I'm not quite sure why everyone is obsessed with this place, but it was a nice treat. Even the small cone was ridiculously big. On my second visit, I ordered a kids size... still big, but not as overwhelming. Wonder what the "baby" size is like? The cones melt FAST. It's crazy hot out, but I think it is also due to the "softness" of the soft serve or being dipped. My six-year-old self would have been a total mess. Okay, let's be honest, my thirty-something year old self was pretty messy, too. We walked over, but did notice there's not a ton of parking. If you must drive, consider parking in one of the other business lots nearby, or on the residential streets. Also, FYI, there's no inside seating, and just a few outdoor seats.
