Absolutely delicious drinks! The staff were very sweet and patient when I was deciding on what to get! Lovely place to sit and enjoy it! And they had old cartoons on the background which was lovely to see! Definitely would recommend!

I probably should try this place more than the couple of times I've stopped by. It's new, with that new place smell, in an area with a new housing and even more under construction. The shop is a wide open space with a quite a good amount of comfortable seating ideal for relaxing although I do question how long the fabric on some of it will stay clean. It's an unusual coffee shop in that it has the typical coffee drinks, but also teas, and soda with flavors you can add from fruit flavors to coconut milk. Some soda drink options are pre-selected flavors, but you have the ability to choose your own mix-ins. The coffee is from treeline, out of Bozeman, the tumblewood teas out of Big Timber, the donuts from Proof in Billings, and the ice cream from Montana. In other words, it's Montana product focused. I like that. The service is great, the coffee is good, the choice of beverages, amazing, the location is up and coming, and this space modern and open. They have a drive - thru if you can't stop in. There are shelves with toys and games for the kids. I can see it being a perfect community spot for the families in all the new nearby housing. Maybe it will grow on me,but it's just not there, yet. There's a lot to appreciate here.

Ordered two scoops but one would have been plenty! Ice cream was good but not as good as gelato or some other places I like. We waited about 20min and the line was longer than when we arrived. AND FOR GOOD REASON!! There was only one young woman working behind the counter - I guess the other employee couldn't make it in - but she was crushing it! She wasn't flustered by the crowd, she was still friendly and smiling, talkative, and professional. Once I ordered, I knew I'd made the right choice to wait in line. I got a double scoop with chocolate and white mint Oreo. The chocolate was decadent and rich. Super creamy! The white mint Oreo was just the right balance of minty with huge chunks of Oreo. Also super creamy! Met a local in line if front of me and he said it was worth the wait. He was right! If you're an ice cream fanatic like me, Big Dipper is worth every penny of cost and every second of waiting! HIGHLY recommend!

There was a window full of truffles, hand made chocolates, and caramel apples. They had some delicious samples to try too. They had a soda shop area with seats to enjoy your treats. We had a lot of fun looking at the different bins full of candies that were unique. We grabbed a mix of treats before we headed out. We loved this store. The sweetest part of the experience was Russ, the employee that answered all our questions and helped us with our selections. He was the highlight of our visit. He provided the best service , and had a dynamite personality. We would visit again. Reasonable prices and worth the stop.

I brought my 3 daughters and that was a challenge, but we stayed for about 90 minutes and purchased three sets of items, as we sat at the convenient old school soda fountain tables and ate all the goodies. Everyone was really nice there, but the only one I caught the name of was PJ who was running the soda fountain area. She was super friendly and very helpful. We spent quite a while conversing with her about sweets and whatever else. This place is large. Yes it's pretty pricey, but there's so many choices. It was amazing to see. Not only do they have nearly every candy you can imagine, but they also have ice cream and they make milkshakes, and specialty sodas. I thought a neat touch also, was the fact that they have a bunch of games you can use to play at the tables for family fun. Uno and sorry and things like that. Good to keep you in there and eating more sweets! Haha. The whole ambiance reminded me of the classic 1950s candy and malt shop. Overall, well done. Good times. Enjoy them while you still can.

I was impressed by all of the flavor options for the dipped part of the dipped cones, and service was quick. I'm not quite sure why everyone is obsessed with this place, but it was a nice treat. Even the small cone was ridiculously big. On my second visit, I ordered a kids size... still big, but not as overwhelming. Wonder what the "baby" size is like? The cones melt FAST. It's crazy hot out, but I think it is also due to the "softness" of the soft serve or being dipped. My six-year-old self would have been a total mess. Okay, let's be honest, my thirty-something year old self was pretty messy, too. We walked over, but did notice there's not a ton of parking. If you must drive, consider parking in one of the other business lots nearby, or on the residential streets. Also, FYI, there's no inside seating, and just a few outdoor seats.

However for the first time I was absolutely disgusted with the services of one of the employees there today. We waited in a long line to order. Then when it was finally what should have been our turn to get our ice cream they kept giving everyone that ordered after us their order then when said employee noticed that one of the other customers hadn't gotten all of their order she asked what they were waiting on. I then said to her that we had not gotten any of our order. She completely ignored me and we had to wait for several more people that ordered after us before anyone would acknowledge us and then finally we got our order after everyone else that ordered after us received their order.

I haven't decided if I like it and that's an odd thing to say about ice cream. I mean - ice cream. What's not to like? My indecision is probably not for a reason expected. The ice cream is smooth, creamy, and you can tell immediately it's a high butterfat ice cream. What's disappointing is the flavor - there's really not much. It looks tasty in the cup or the cone - and kids seem to enjoy it, so perhaps it's just me. If you have trouble deciding, you can get a tiny spoon sampling of a flavor capturing your interest. I've tried a few different flavors, and they all suffer from the same barely-there taste - except perhaps for the Zanzibar chocolate. I guess having three kinds of cocoa must have been enough to amp the overall flavor. Or maybe it's because it was chocolate ,,, because ....chocolate.. The peach has pieces of peach in it; the "This $&@! Just Got Serious" has pieces of cashew; the "Superman" was fun-looking, with three bright colors with the same number of flavors that looked like someone mashed kids play-dough together. All the requisite ingredients are there so I can't figure out the taste deficit. What is impressive is the variety of choices -- at least a dozen. There are a few regular flavors, but also a rotating selection and a special flavor of the week. The ice cream is available in a cone or a cup, or mixed as a sundae or a shake - so there's an option for whatever craving is attacking you at that moment. On a hot day, or when you want to satisfy a sweet tooth, or get the kids a treat without breaking the bank, or just sit outside and enjoy your ice cream and the sunshine, Joe's Cones will do nicely. It's open even as the weather gets cooler, but mostly on the weekends.
