Worst experience ever! I have returned four times to this Walgreens Pharmacy for my prenatal care pills! After three weeks of going back and forth with Walgreens and my insurance company it turns out Walgreens staff was too incompatant or lazy to do their job! After waiting on hold for more than 45 minutes on the phone, I finally gave up. I'm transferring all prescriptions to Costco pharmacy. Note: you don't even need to be a Costco member to use their pharmacy- just tell the person at the door and they let you through! Prescriptions at Costco are also incredibly cheaper than Walgreen's, and it's just down the street. read more

This location is ok but not very well stocked. The pharmacy on the others and has been great! They filled my script very quickly and the person who took my script was very helpful and friendly. Parking is always available, great that they have their own lot! They also have a drive through pharmacy so you can drop off and pick up without ever leaving the comfort of your car. read more

I'm giving this location one star because of their pathetic pharmacy drive-through. I just spent 25 minutes waiting and I was just the second one in line! The line goes half a mile behind me! The pharmacy is the worst I have ever dealt with. Any time I call or go in the wait is horrible. I just hung up on a hold call that I had been waiting 25 minutes for the pharmacist. Even the drive through takes forever. They need to analyze the problem and fix it. If they have that much business they need to hire more people. First month of Walgreens after insurance made us switch from CVS (which was awesome!). So far, two phone calls - both on hold for over 30 minutes, with a voice every 15 seconds telling me they'd be with me shortly. After the first call, they were supposed to contact CVS to have the prescriptions transferred. Evidently it didn't get done last month and now, after the second call, I'm supposed to trust that it will? The guy on the phone was polite but harried. Hey Walgreens- how about hiring more people? This Walgreen's is located at the corner of Irvine Ave and Newport Ave in Tustin and has been my preferred drug store for some time now. At Sav-on before they sold out to CVS, there was always a wait and I hated it. Walgreen's doesn't make me wait if I don't want to. They have 2-3 windows inside plus the drive through which is great and moves the customers right along. And they have a reminder service which I love. They tell me when I need to order a refill if I forget to and they call my house to let me know I need to pick it up if I don't before the date I tell them I need it by. Walgreen's is even open 24 hours a day so if I'm sick and I need cough syrup at 3AM, I can get it. Yeah Walgreens! read more

Being new to the neighborhood I was excited by the convenience of having a 24 hr pharmacy nearby with a drive through option. Once I began using this pharmacy however, whatever possible benefits could be there were negated by the most incompetent group of bumbling employees I have ever encountered. They seem ill trained to even operate their own system giving contradictory information, loosing or misplacing prescriptions and, more then once, letting me leave the store with the wrong prescription that one time, was a controlled substance. Walgreens corporate is unconcerned with any of this and claims this is their busiest location in Orange County posing unique logistical challenges. With that excuse being very obviously false, I will end with the following. If you choose to take your business here expect long waits, frustrating interactions with ill trained staff and the risk of receiving incorrect medication. read more

The pharmacy is a joke. I get a call saying my sons prescription is ready. Then when I call it's not ready and the pharmacist Alex is so rude. They need to be reviewed and retrained I can't believe how rude and how inconsiderate they can be. read more

I come here because it's a close to home and they have a drive thru. This is by far the slowest pharmacy ever. Whether you go in the store or sit in the drive thru, plan on being in line for at least 20 mins. And that's when there is only 1 or 2 cars/people in front of you. Then once you get up to the window they always seem to have a hard time finding you in the system or locating your meds. It's quite honestly amazing. IMO it's understaffed and unorganized. read more

Every time I come here, I have to wait at least 20 minutes in line to get my prescription that I called in earlier that day. And every time I call in to speak to someone in the pharmacy, I'm on hold for at least 15 minutes. Today I went in to pick up my birth control prescription and they got it wrong (basically the easiest refill on the planet). The worst run pharmacy I've ever seen. After months of terrible service I contacted the district manager. She informed me that this is the busiest pharmacy in Orange County for Walgreens, yet it is never staffed fully especially during peak hours. She informed me that they recently made "changes" to help speed up the process, but nothing has changed. Last night I tried to drop off a prescription at 9:00 pm and there were six cars in the drive-thru, seven people in line and FOUR workers. FOUR?!?! They closed the prescription drop off window, so I waited 15 minutes just to drop off the prescription. I would avoid this pharmacy like the plague and will be switching immediately. read more

They need to figure out a better way to service their drive up window, inside line and phone calls they also have this recording message that calls your phone and states that your prescription is ready for pick up, when its not.. Not only a horrible pharmacy but dangerous! They repeatedly gave me the wrong brand of medication, that, in the past, I had experienced an adverse reaction to. They seem less than concerned about their repeated error, not to mention ridiculously long wait times both inside the store and in the drive-through. I have been sitting here waiting to get my blood pressure taken for an hour. When I first got here the assistant turned me away and said I should go to CVS, then she said talk to the pharmacy manager. I couldn't get him to pay attention to me and finally another really nice assistant had me fill out a form and told me they would help me. Now it's been an hour...it would have been faster to drive to my doctors office. I'm 9 months pregnant and just need a quick BP reading and this is infuriating. I've been going to this Walgreens for years now. It's open 24 hours, very clean and all the staff has been friendly every time I visit. The staff at this Walgreen's is amazingly helpful. Marcelo (who is the store manager I think) is a LIFESAVER! At 11pm on a Sunday night, I realized I needed to get passport photos taken because my passport had expired and I was 3 days away from leaving for Costa Rica. I called the 24-hour Rite Aid near my apartment, and the guy there coldly told me no one was available to help me get my passport picture taken. I called Walgreen's to try my luck and the girl on the phone said she had to verify with her manager. After 30 seconds, she told me that their machine turns off from 11pm - 1am and that I should call back to make sure the service is available after 1. I called back at 1 on the dot and the manager confirmed that the machine is up and running. I drove down right away and Marcelo greeted me with a warm smile. He took the photos and processed it as quickly as possible. While processing, he ran into all sorts of trouble with the printer - there wasn't any paper in the tray and ink was low. But he got it done, and I am so grateful for his help. He probably could have just told me on the phone that no one was available to do it and turned me away - but he didn't. And that's why I think the service at this store is awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone in need of passport photos in the middle of the night! read more

I get it it's busy and they are working as fast as they can. Unfortunately, when you send a text and tell me my meds are ready I expect them to be ready. I shouldn't have to hear any excuses about the physician leaving a certain thing on the prescription off and that we are trying to get a hold of them. I expect pharmacy to be more efficient than this or at least give me updates as I wait there. At least then I know you really are trying. Customer service needs to be worked on. Again, when you text me to tell me my meds are ready be sure they are please or don't text me. Someone dropped the ball here. Meh. I come to this location because it's convenient to pick up prescriptions when I'm running errands. But make sure you're not in a hurry when you get in the drive-thru to pick up or in the line inside. And check your meds...they have given me the wrong medication. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon to pick up some photos I ordered online. Earlier that day, I picked up some other photos and the man at the register at the photo center, Daniel, was very nice and efficient - there was no wait at all. However, my experience later that afternoon was very different from. The gentleman working at the photo center that afternoon was SO slow. I came to the counter and patiently waited for him to turn around from the computer facing the opposite direction. He was photoshopping some photos for another order; since he was working, I waited understandingly. He worked on the photos for more than 7 minutes while I cleared my throat/said "excuse me" a few times, all while a line of 4 people formed behind me. Yes, while I understand he was doing his job, he also is required to pay attention to the counter where there are actually people WAITING. When he finally turned around, he looked surprised and confused. I am so disappointed and frustrated that I had to wait 7+ mins just for him to TURN AROUND to help me. read more

Trying to get a prescription from this pharmacy is a nightmare. Expect very, very long wait times, even if you go late at night or super early in the morning. Also expect 30-45 minutes hold time if you try to call, and after that there's the chance they'll hang up on you anyway. read more

This store is terrible! I have been in the store and through the damn prescription line more times than my patience can take. After waiting in line (yet again!) for 25 minutes one lady gave up and left. This was at 9:45 in the evening on a Thursday and they still cannot take care of the service window. They are incompetent, disorganized, slothful employees. I will NEVER have a prescription sent there again. My grandmother will never use this place again. My sons will never use this place again and I will tell anyone who will listen not to waste their time. I have made excuses for their lack of customer service and lack of efficiency time and time again. I have called and waited a long period of time to speak to a pharmacists and been hung up on multiple times. I have received automated calls that my medications were ready only to wait in line and be told that there was an issue with getting it approved and I should contact the Dr/Insurance company. I have been told that the card on file would not process and come home to call them and there was nothing wrong with the card. I do not give negative reviews unless their is a real chronic problem. This place needs to be torn down. The space would be better used as a parking lot for the donut place next-door. I get faster service and much cheaper prices at CostCo. If at all possible, (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A MEMBERSHIP CARD TO USE THE PHARMACY) take your prescriptions to Costco. read more

This has got to be the worst pharmacy ever. I stopped using them a couple of years ago, when their phone lines were "broken" and not fixed for months--they knew it the lines were broken and gave an excuse that HQ hadn't fixed it. I think they were just too busy and took the lines off the hook or didn't pick up. Anytime there was an issue with a prescription you would have to go in person and then go back to pick it up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VALUABLE PHOTO MEMORIES to this local Walgreen's! They LOST my photo order in May 2015! They waited almost a month before letting me know. Then, they gave me the task of trying to resolve the matter with THEIR film processor, Fuji Printing Services in S. Carolina, who they knew had a history of mixing up and losing orders! They replaced the cost of my film, but I still have photos that I cannot recover...Such a great disappointment! read more

My 3rd time coming here my first time I excused there ignorance second time I figured I give the pharmacy a second chance but they were extremely slow and so I went to the cvs but this time I figure it's been a year let's try it so here I went again for the 3rd and final time This WALGREENS PHARMACY is close to work I came on lunch and figure I would pic up after work .. when I drop off my prescription the clerk mention I should get a different medication since it was cheaper I told her I had tried that medication years before and had a allergic reaction she insisted it was the same medication, and have my doc change to save me money I didn't want to go back and forth and argued so at that point I politely said ok I'll be back after work.. when I came to pick up my medication I was told it was under review because I was allergic to it , I explained to the pharmacist about my allergic reaction she got LOUD and rude stating it was the exact medication.. I said I seen a allergy specialist and was told there was an ingredient that I was allergic to and that the other medication i did not have any reaction to she refused to listen to reason, eventually I had to wait even longer for my prescription, I will never come to this WALGREENS PHARMACY AGAIN regardless if it is convenient!! This is is slowest pharmacy in the world. You end up standing in line for 20 min just to drop off a prescription. If you go to the drive thru expect at least 30 minutes. It doesn't matter if there's 1 person in line or 12 people in line. (Side note: I closed this app hoping to never finish this review but as I stand here in line again a month later, my blood boils-so I'm here to finish. I honestly hate writing bad reviews.) Today there's at least two more people working, yet the line was still 12 people deep. The drop off & pickup line are one in the same here, so it's chaotic. I give 2 stars and only come here because it's the only local pharm that stocks the meds I need without having to order it when I drop it off, adding a few more days to my wait time. As for the rest of the store, it seems understaffed. I maybe see 1-2 employees at a time and half the time they're walking up to their register the same time or after I am. It's located in a weird triangle intersection, so getting in and out is tricky if you're trying to against the flow of traffic. Horrible service while waiting in pharmacy line. 8 people in a very slow moving line because they have one person working the register. Seriously? One person at register and 5 people stalking shelves in the back. Took me 25 minutes to get help. The whole time the pharmacists just avoid eye contact with the people waiting. Cluster fuck. read more
