Pacific Standard Time in the Newport Beach Cos Bar on Friday June 30th 2023, I entered the beauty store for my first and definitively LAST time. The moment I walked in to the store I heard lots of unpacking and since I had walked this street before and never noticed this store before, I asked if the store had just opened, to which a blonde lady told me "no" and I playfully said "really? I've been here before and I never saw this store" (the storefront is relatively small) to which an employee told me something along the lines of "clearly you weren't looking that hard." I brushed off this encounter and approached a table with foundation. I was in a rush that morning and had zero makeup on, so I took this opportunity to try on a new foundation brand that I didn't know existed. No one helped me. I chose the shade myself and then when to the small mirror on the counter to look at the shade. Then an older blonde White female employee came up to me... I told her I didn't know La Mer foundation existed, and she made a rude face to me. I told her that I have acne, and wanted to see how it looked. She said you me "you have breakouts, you don't have acne. If you had acne it would look different." At this point, I already had foundation on my face so how would she know? Also according to Healthline.com, breakouts are acne, so what is she talking about? She then told me I needed tinted foundation. She rudely told me I picked the wrong shade even though she wouldn't show me what shade I needed. She told me I needed tinted foundation, without helping me find what shade of tinted foundation. She told me I need to use bronzer, without telling me what kind of bronzer to use or how to use it. The constant scrutiny and baseless and confusing remarks made me feel hostile atmosphere. The final and most strong evidence of horrendous behavior came when I was looking in the mirror. I was looking at an adjustable mirror sitting on the counter and she took her hand as she was standing behind the counter and tilted the mirror, so I could no longer see myself in the mirror. The mirror was in front of my but after she tilted it, in was no longer in the view. I WAS ACTIVELY LOOKING AT MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AND SHE MOVED THE MIRROR SO I COULD NO LONGER SEE MYSELF. Being naive and confused as to what was happening I took the handheld mirror next to the original countertop mirror I was looking at, and used it to look at my skin instead, while she stared at me in silent anger. How horrible you are. I am not sure if this was about race but I am an Asian woman while she was White. Appalling. I am hoping this store has surveillance cameras so they can pull up the footage and corroborate exactly what I've been talking about. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on you. Crazy. (BTW go look at the other bad review, clearly this shop has something against Asian women) I also had a spoke with the store director named Michelle, who claimed that employee whom I had a horrendous experience with was named Eraine.

Very light and not heavy feeling that you get with us sunscreen that burn your eyes. They do have a bunch of testers so it's nice when you can do that versus hope that a product work if you're buying something internationally online. It seems like the items are a little bit more expensive than online, but I guess it's the cost of doing business and person, labor, and shipping as well. They do have another random section with kitchen items. But I would say if it's a popular item in Asia cup and you'll probably find it here.

Sherry the office manager is the sweetest and answers whenever I need help. Dr. B is amazing and very personable. They never pressure you into additional work and always focus on what is best. He has done excellent work on my lips with great natural looking results. The dental block makes the lip procedures almost painless which was hard to find locally. I also start taking arnica a few days before to help reduce any potential bruising. I plan to return next month and highly recommend them for their professional and reliable service.

I didn't like the result since it added shadows to my face which aged me, so I waited for them to naturally dissolve. But since they were cross-linked, they mostly stayed put. They then migrated and caused lumpiness when I smiled that 5+ dissolving sessions spread out over the years didn't fully resolve. I'll start by saying that my expectations were quite modest going in. But the moment I walked into Dr. Qazi's clinic, I was genuinely stunned. The space is beautiful, modern, and high tech. Frankly one of the most impressive aesthetic clinics I've seen. It's clear that Dr. Qazi has invested in the latest technology and equipment. Once I was called in, the nurse did a scan of my face with a sophisticated imaging device. I've never seen such a device used at any other practice; we usually just go straight into the dissolving session. Then Dr. Qazi came in and performed his ultrasound guided filler dissolution, carefully mapping out the pockets of residual filler. Using ultrasound visualization, he was able to precisely guide the needle into the exact areas where filler remained and dissolve it with remarkable accuracy. His technique was meticulous and clearly the work of someone with deep expertise and experience. What impressed me even more was the outcome. I had actually undergone a similar ultrasound-guided dissolving procedure just a week earlier with a radiologist at another clinic an hour away, which left me with significant bruising. In contrast, Dr. Qazi performed the procedure with zero bruising whatsoever- a testament to his skill! And the price was shockingly reasonable. His treatment cost one-fifth of what I paid at the other ultrasound-guided dissolving clinic, despite delivering far better results. And the improvement in my face was noticeable almost immediately. It felt as though 5 years of age had melted away from my face. The subtle bulkiness that I hadn't even realized was there disappeared, softening the shadows that had been accentuating my nasolabial folds. The lumpiness when I smiled improved dramatically, and I left feeling far more confident in my skin. What also stood out was Dr. Qazi's generosity with his time. He even stayed past normal hours to continue helping me, which I deeply appreciated given that I had traveled all the way to the Bay Area to see him.
