I went to my Dr today to renew an Rx for testosterone and a new Rx for a muscle relaxant. The muscle relaxant was filled quickly....but the pharmacy said....they are still waiting on my Dr for the testosterone....I then called my Dr...they were at lunch....left a message I needed my testonsterone rx refilled still. My Drs office then called me 1 and1/2 hrs later and after I waited in line to pick up my muscle relaxant...to tell to tell the pharmacy needed to listen to their messages..... ....after they told me they are still waiting on my Dr again...they then told me they were filling immediately....so I get to go wait in the driveup line again!....it was a Big inconvienence...I don't know why I have to tell the pharmacist to listen to their messages... as my Drs instructed me to tell me to. do.... Everybody makes mistakes....the phamacy called and apologized.....At least now if your reading this and you are having trouble like me.....Ask the pharmacist to listen to their messages.... it might be the correct thing to do....before calling your Dr to complain that they had not refilled your Rx as they said....and complaining to the wrong person. All worked efficiently as a team, taking on multiple roles and each with professionalism and positivity. I came for my first Covid vaccine so I was there for a minute waiting, had the opportunity to watch them as they work. So I went to this Walgreens because it's right down the road from my house. I ordered 3 canvas photos of my newborn son. I've ordered Walgreens canvas photos before after my wedding and they were great. But these lack any form of quality. I know they were rushed (I had gone in to the store early in the day and the lady making canvases said they were rushed because they were waiting on their truck to come in) but they let their work get sloppy. The corners of my canvas print look as though it was made in someone's house, the canvases are not tight. On one it's as if they were careless because there are chips in the ink as if they carelessly handled it. It's very disappointing because I was really excited to hang up photos of my new baby. Needless to say I'll be taking these back to have them redone because this is just unacceptable read more

Horrible service I will be moving all of my pharmacy needs somewhere else. My Covid test was scheduled a week in advance! It wasn't a surprise last minute! I get to my appt location at 11:50am(appt time 12pm) which your email instructions are very vague you should probably put it in there that you go to the drive through pharmacy window for the mobile Covid testing? In hindsight that's probably the least important. I was put on hold 5 times trying to obtain further instructions to get Covid tested. 22-25 minutes on hold I incorrectly told the pharmacy manager 15 minutes maybe that's why she didn't care. To ask me how to fix it and then put me at the back of the line knowing I've been waiting for this appointment isn't fixing anything! This is by far the worst customer service I've ever received and I've worked retail either you know how to manage your time or you don't. Obviously your employees way of managing the excess amount of clients is to just leave them on hold till they hang up!! That's a lack of leadership and training from both the pharmacy manager and store manager as every associate is a reflection of its leadership and or lack of training is as well! You probably won't care as I'm just the next unhappy customer for you guys and that's cool my business doesn't mean anything to you clearly! Just make sure you realize with that mentality your steering a sinking ship! I walked in to get my photos and was waiting for Megan and her coworker to wrap up there conversation so I could get my prints . My 4 year old son loudly said "excuse me" to get there attention . Finally after saying nothing to acknowledge us Megan walks over to see what we need. Gives me my pictures and tells me I can pay up front. I told her no as I want to pay in photo. This is the worst pharmacy ever! Which sucks because it's the only one at our way. Slow as it gets and they can't read prescriptions. On several occasions they've screwed up on giving us generics when our dr prescription clearly stated no generic no substitute. I've had multiple issues, with the latest being them not having the medication required and no notification that it wasn't going to be ready tonight as previously stated. Apparently people having their necessary medication is not an issue for Walgreens, since I had to phone in 30 minutes before closing to find this out (leaving me out of options). I never pulled my prescriptions when this pharmacy lost its ability to do business. I should have. It's been nearly a year of terrible service, plus there's a huge employee turnover. I had to wait (go figure) for a prescription to be filled last month and EVERY SINGLE PERSON in line had terrible experiences to share about this store. Two of those people pulled their prescriptions on the spot. Left for other pharmacies. I will be doing that on all refills and new prescriptions. Today I'm waiting on pain medicine. My 30 minute wait is at 1.5 hours and three trips down here. One of those trips was after I received a notification that the prescription was ready. Can't give it to me because the pharmacist needs to initial it. Please come back. Hopefully 4th time is a charm. I'm done. No clue how Walgreens is buying rite aid. Hopefully it goes out of business. Basically, if you do not currently use Walgreens, DO NOT START NOW. If you are frustrated and can leave Walgreens, do it. I'm going to. Really, these reviews are for the Walgreens staff. I wish you guys would fix that store. It should be embarrassing for you to work there. It is one of the most poorly run business establishments in the Temecula Valley. Be ashamed. read more

Not sure what it is about Walgreen's, but I'm not really a fan... It reminds of me of like an outdated Kmart or something? Only thing that I do like about this particular location is that they do have a Redbox kiosk inside so I can return my movie quickly after I've pumped my gas. And not that it really pertains to me, but cigarettes are MUCH cheaper here than at VONS. When I worked at the VONS gas station next door and people would complain about our cig prices, I'd simply point my finger to Walgreens and tell them to walk there instead. Lol. I went to fill in my prescription after using target for a few years with no problem today just cause it was convenient to save a few extra miles this time after surgery, I went to Walgreens. I brought it in & the prescription says "generic / equivalent" of the medicine. The guy insisted that there is no such thing as a generic equivalent for it. I explained I've already gotten a generic elsewhere and it in fact does. He insisted. I left. I had my doctors office call the pharmacy to explain it in more "scientific" terms that it in fact existed. When I talked with the office afterwards, they said the guy was rude and insisted the generic didn't exist & told me to just head to a different pharmacy and write walgreens off. Incompetent, unfortunately. I called target pharmacy after: we had a good laugh about it & they couldn't believe they didn't know about it. I am having it dropped off there as we speak. The Asian fellow (manager I believe) at the pharmacy needs to go back to school. He's pretty clueless. If I could give no stars I would! Husband got discharged today from having back surgery yesterday. These idiots told me it would be 1.5 hours to get 24 Percocet and they didn't call me or text as they have my number in the system. They have texted me before when stuff was ready. I went back and they were freaking closed. Thankfully got my husband's script back to take somewhere else. I took it to the 24 hour Walgreens in Menifee. The pharmacist told me it would take 15 min and it is no problem that my husband received norco a week ago because percs and norcos are essentially the same fucking thing just to take the Percocet and not the norco. Duhhhhh stupid people man! I understand there are junkies out there but I explicitly told the first place my husbands back was sliced open yesterday and the previous norco was from an emergency room visit that they were telling him he only has sciatica... (Loma Linda in Murrieta) that's another problem place btw. Take the drive to Menifee and skip that shitshow of a pharmacy! read more

This review is for the pharmacy. I used to frequent this place for my prescriptions. But no longer. They offer vaccines, although the pharmacist there doesn't want to give them to you because she feels "uncomfortable". I needed the Hepatitis A vaccine booster for school and was told that the second dose had to be with the same manufacturer as my initial shot. If this was true, why don't we ever track down the same manufacturer for boosters for Tdap, MMR, or other vaccines? Life happens, people lose their vaccine cards or move away etc. You're better off going to CVS where they actually know what they're doing. Being in the healthcare field, I know this is not true because when in doubt of a patient's vaccination status, you immunize. My suggestion, take your business else where. read more

Completely inept pharmacy staff. I've been coming to this location for leas than a year and just had my second terrible experience. First was when getting a script for a bowel prep for a colonoscopy. When I went to pick up the script the first time, I ended up leaving without it as the cost was much more than I was expecting. I told the staff I needed to talk to my insurance to verify but that I would be back for the script as I needed to take it the next day. When I came back to pick it up they had GIVEN IT AWAY and didn't have any more. They said they wouldn't be able to get any more until after the first of the year due to a manufacture shortage. I couldn't get it at ANY pharmacy at this point. I ended up having to take off work to drive to my doctor in San Diego to get a sample they had because this procedure is scheduled way in advance and prep for it starts a couple of days beforehand. My second terrible experience happened this evening. I dropped off a physical hand written script in the store on Monday. The gentleman helping me scanned it through (I watched him do it) and told me I could pick it up in about an hour. I said I would be back in a day or two. Went through the drive through tonight to pick it up and they have NO RECORD of my script whatsoever. Are you kidding? They said they will have to wait for their manager to come in tomorrow and contact my doctor to get another script. How does this happen? I am at a loss... I understand electronic scripts getting lost in transit somehow with technical glitches, but I physically handed this over and watched someone scan it into their system. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy ASAP. read more

Horrible pharmacy! Sadly CVS stopped taking my insurance so this was the next closest. I hate it. They are slow and are always confused with one of my meds that I've gotten there numerous times. Once the prescription was sent to the other Walgreens on Murrieta Hot Springs and they got it right the first time and were so much faster. They place ZERO priority on their phone calls. So if you call, expect to hold minimum 10 minutes with no other callers on hold. I've witness them let the phone ring for 15 minutes and never stop to get it. Finally they did, but it was me! I actually drove there after 10 minutes of holding, got in line and right before they were going to call me in line, they picked up my call. This place is ridiculous. Plus a nationwide outage of their system yesterday?! No prescriptions could come in via their system for at least 4 hours. Today I'm calling to see if their system is up and if my prescription came through.... 16 minutes on hold and counting.... ... just talked to them and when the system was down seems like most people's prescriptions didn't go through. Today is Saturday so how are people supposed to contact their doctors to have them resend those prescriptions? Now people have to go the whole weekend without their medication. Seriously had one of the rudest pharmacy girls I have ever encountered. My mom has been using this Walgreens for years. This young lady couldn't be bothered with my questions in the drive thru. She kept rolling her eyes and sighing while swinging the phone around by the cord that she was talking to me on every time I asked a question and she had to ask the pharmacist. I still didn't get what my mom needed and she couldn't even tell me when the prescription they had to order would be in. My mom has advanced stage copd and afib. She needs her meds. Computer is down, has been for a week and they call in Saturday to tell me now only do I need another prescription, it can't be transferred to another local Walgreens or Pharmacy that I need to contact doctor on a holiday weekend for a new prescription. My experience has been nothing but good at this Walgreens location. Every staff member has always been professional and helpful. The staff in the pharmacy amaze me...... I have a difficult last name and they always greet me with my last name. The store is clean and well stocked. The prices can be a tad bit on the higher side then say Walmart or Target, but the convenience of their location and friendliness of staff makes up for that. read more

After returning for the rest of the prescription they screwed up on earlier today I was faced with another 30 minute wait. Slowest pharmacy around. Gotten slower over the years. Expect to wait 20 minutes average in the drive through. After waiting 15 minutes for 2 cars ahead of me to pick up prescriptions, which is ridiculous, I make it up to the window and am left sitting for about 4 minutes. One of the pharmacists took the trash out, ruffled through some papers for no apparent reason, then came to help me like everything was ok. There were 3 cars in line behind me. The other pharmacist was on the computer. I got my prescription and as I'm pulling away the guy walks away from the window! Buddy, you have more customers, where are you going? Been coming here since I moved in a year-or-so ago. It's convenient and close by but let's get to the real reason this Walgreens is fantastic. His name is Jeremiah. This guy rocks and he's super kind not to mention handsome. Sorry he just is. He's super charming and always helpful probably one of the most helpful if not THE most helpful person there. They don't always have what I want there and sometimes the pharmacy lines are way to long but he always makes the visit worth the trip. I gave this pharmacy a try despite the multitude of negative reviews, and now that I have experienced the terrible service firsthand, I realized I was wrong to do so. Do not come to this pharmacy to fulfill any type of prescription unless you want to be treated poorly and wait endlessly. After waiting in a long drive thru line for my prescription that was ready for pickup, I waited for ten minutes at the window for the retrieval of the prescription. After back and forth with the staff member at the window, she tells me I need to actually come inside to wait for my prescription because it's not ready, but it'll be ready by the time I get inside. I then come inside just to wait another length of time as I watch the staff continue to miscommunicate with each other and keep customers like myself waiting. My experience here will be my first and last ever. I do not appreciate the rude treatment by the staff and will gladly wait in a longer line at another pharmacy just to avoid dealing with this staff. Heed the warnings here, and go elsewhere. read more

The Pharmacist can't do math there apparently. Asked for a 24count 12 hour decongestant. When I get home to use it it's only a 4-8 hour decongestant. Asked if I could bring it back and they said no and to just take 4 pills to make it a 12 hours. the directions clearly state 2 pills for 4- 8 hours. this is their own brand of decongestant and they don't even know the directions for it and tell you to take more then the directions say. I'll only get 6 days worth also if I take 4 a day. I'll stick to Walmart next time where they actually sell a 12 hour decongestant that will actually last me 24 days for the same price.
