Excellent customer service with a genuine smile. All the negative reviews and I want to give an employee a positive review. I'm a frequent customer and so is my wife. Chrissie is always smiling and other customers have made comments while standing in line that Chrissie is an asset to this AMPM. If she doesn't know an answer she will do her best to get one. I've seen some angry customers call her names over the air policy. She didn't respond in a negative way but listened and then asked the very vocal customer to leave. It was rather upsetting to see this customer lash out at her for a policy she was following and had no control over. My wife and I were disappointed in seeing the male clerk just stand there while this customer disrespected her with his words. While we were airing up our tire, I needed to use the restroom, and I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was clean and organized, and the gas station store, though small, was neat and well-maintained too. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate I grabbed was a letdown, I couldn't taste any chocolate at all. Good thing I also got some ponkan (mandarin oranges) to make up for it. We went in on sunday the 15th, my 21st birthday was february 7th, excited to purchase a drink they instantly told no. i showed them my id and they wouldnt even scan it to check its authenticity. Saying that any birthday after 2004 was not legal. Though I had just turned 21. Both workers made me feel embarrassed and like i was doing something wrong. They kept asking for another id. I did not know i should carry my expired id to prove my age. Cause my brand new real id was not good enough for them. the worst interaction i've ever had at a gas station. We were in there to grab some white claws after we filled up our boat and I had forgot my Id in the car. Immediately the older man working was yelling at me even though i was understanding and was going to get it. so while I ran out the my car my boyfriend was still trying to pay and was told by him that he won't be serving us.... we are both above the age of 21. You've been warned. Stay Away! These people are a bunch of crooks. My wife went here to get $10.52 worth of gas and ended up being charged $100.35 after checking her account! What's odd is that she used the machine, which only takes debit! The machine then tells you to pick up the receipt at the counter inside. So this makes me think the amount has to be entered manually from someone inside the store who is the culprit of this fraud and flawed system. My wife went inside to complain and showed them the discrepancy on what was taken out of her bank account and what was on the receipt and the manager only said they couldn't do anything about it 'cause it's pending. If that money doesn't get returned, I think we have a case for small claims court. I don't want to even give this place one star, the only saving grace are the actual employees. I have a feeling the problem is actually the owner. I have waited several months and been here several times before posting this. Here are the reoccurring problems: - Gas is always around 30 cents more per gallon - EVERYTHING is comparatively overpriced - They are constantly out of staple items - The poor employees have to keep the door open sometimes because the owner is probably too cheap to replace the air conditioning that keeps breaking - The POS card swiping system requires you to accept the purchase charges, processes the payment and THEN asks if the 35 cent service charge is okay (I don't care, I'd say yes anyway but I haven't seen this before...it's usually before you accept the sales charges) - Several times this place has been cash only (probably because the owner won't upgrade anything). Honestly, drive the extra two miles to ANY other gas station if you can make it. Hell...I'd even advise you push your car just to avoid this waste of space. read more

So on my way to Starbucks I wanted to get some chips, I get down and see that it's very small compared to other AMPMs. Ok so I get my things and put them on the counter and see that they don't take $100 bills (it's posted on the counter) so I take my credit card to pay (since it doesn't state that they don't) well they don't take credit cards only debit cards. Ok no worries, I insert my debit card and to my surprise it's an additional 35 cents, if it was only me I would of returned my things but it was my kids things too. Ok what ever I walk out and think ok let me fill up my gas tank since I always like to have it filled up. I insert my debit card and to my surprise they also charge 35 cents for gas. This AM PM is something I've never encountered. Gas is more expensive than any other location in a 20 mile radius. They don't take credit cards, no bills over $100 and I'm pretty sure there are some people who need to use EBT which they do not take. I've been to many AM PM's and none of them are like this. Got mad cause I asked for the store number so I could see what makes this one different from the rest. I will not get gas here ever again or snacks. Horrible. I attempt to buy 2 7ups at the "buy one at 1.79, second one is 1.00" deal. They ring me up for 3.58 for two sodas. I ask, "did you get the second one at $1?" Beware Owner charges way too much for gas, I can't wait for another gas station to pop up.

Consistently one of the most expensive gas stations in the area. Go down one exit and save 25 to .50 a gallon at Shell, Mobil or Chevron.

This location is a very poor representation for Arco. Gas price should be the lowest but they are the highest. RIP OFF

I didn't even check the price until after a few gallons. Sure enough, way higher than market. The drinks weren't priced the same as other area stores. This place is nice and clean! The price is a little bit cheaper than other gas stations, but I still prefer Shell. The only thing I don't like is that they only accept cash or debit cards. They do not accept credit cards. read more
