RATING FOR PHARMACY ONLY: I had given them my insurance card 7 times (the same exact insurance card) within a span of 3 months. Everytime I go thru the drive-thru to pick up my medication, they charge me hundreds of dollars instead of the $25 charge. I see on the CVS app that they have my health insurance card on file. They then proceed to tell me that I have to come inside and give them my health insurance information again. No thank you. I don't want to stand in line with a bunch of sick people. So, I call on the phone, and have to leave a voicemail and cross my fingers for someone to call me. I called my health insurance provider and confirmed that I have active coverage, and confirmed that it should only be only $25 charge. They are overcharging hundereds of dollars for their medication. read more

This place SUCKs!! They never let you know your RX is out of stock. You go in wait over 45 minutes for your RX to be ready ( they had it already for 2 hours). Tell them you are waiting and they never let you know it was ready 30 min ago!!! Do not get you Meds here. The pharmacy staff is just rude even the manager Emily. They change the rules everyday. Am calling in prescriptions from the doctor office for patients. They change when they want to take order over the phone or not for patients. They say the can't take them verbal since Jan 2022 which is odd bc we have called many times with no issue and have left voicemails which make no sense since they can't take verbals . Refused to help even though she knew the pt needed the medicine and according to the new law under section 688 they are obligated to fill the prescription if the systems is down which we told her and she said no and to tell the patient to go else where. I only go to CVS or Walgreens if I need to something filled afterhours or the weekend. These big corporations do not care about people. They care about money. This is my go to spot. It's convenient and close to home. I use my cvs in app coupons and I usually leave there with the best deal!!! "CV YES!!!!" I love how the employees are welcoming and if I'm stuck in an isle not knowing which product to get I have someone helping me right away. Shout out to Janice who goes above and beyond for me all the time. She is always ready to help and has the utmost patience when I'm having app coupon issues. She never rushes me or gets upset but walks me through it and I'm so grateful because I always leave a happier person, if it weren't for her and the other friendly employees I would've went to Rite Aid. It's CVS. I don't feel like I have high expectations when I visit a CVS. I'm looking for one of two quick items probably in either the healthcare/pharmacy department or a quick snack. I don't visit often but this location always seems to be understaffed. I typically find one open register with 3-4 customers waiting. The staff that is present has always been nice but tend to come across as a little indifferent. And I get it, this is not likely their dream job but there's still something to be said about putting 100% into your work and I don't get that impression at this location. In terms of the shopping experience, I can always find what I'm looking for and never leave empty handed. I don't use the pharmacy since my healthcare provider has an in house pharmacy so I won't rate that here as it wouldn't be fair. They do have a drive-thru pharmacy window which appears to be quite popular based on traffic I see driving through. I will continue to shop here from time to time due to the proximity to my house but I'd really like to see the employees take more pride in their store and their job. read more

This CVS customer service is horrible, I came in Sunday closed to 6pm several weeks ago, the cashier was nasty and unprofessional, not sure if the manager was next to her when she asked him for authorizations on my transaction. He did not interfere but just stand there to listen how disrespectful and unprofessional she was. I have never seen this kind of customer services in my life especially it was coming from CVS. I hope The Corporate should look all these negative reviews and make the corrections for the business, otherwise no one will ever come back at least I am. In addition, the pharmacy staffs were negligent to my prescriptions. Some of my prescriptions never had expiration date on the medications, and also the Pharmacist did not warning me the contradiction, and side effects of the medicines I took, since I have multiple medications for the same symptoms. CVS is is filling for my medication. This is the Pharmacist's responsibility and concern for customer well being. Seem like they do not care. Not sure why the store managers did not take any actions due to many negative complaints. NEVER, NEVER come back to this store again. If you are getting your meds filled, you better be ready for a fight every time you need them. Also, you better double check they are filled correctly. One time they were out of insulin syringes and tried to give me ml syringes which would have caused an overdose. I tried to look past it as it was an accident. Secondly, every time I come in to fill my insulin it's always a fight. My physician sends over the scripts every time there is a dosage change. The pharmacy claims they got it. I spoke to someone over the phone and she confirmed she received my script with the correct dosage and she said it would be ready by 1pm on Friday. Keep in mind, I have explained to the pharmacist in person, every time there is a dosage change and why I need the medication and miraculously it gets override. It's not a controlled substance and it's crucial I have it. Today, I had to ask the pharmacist to call the insurance after she already tried telling me "well it's Friday and after 4pm I probably won't be able to talk to someone with your insurance. Why don't you go home and come back when you have 3 days or less left over." Keep in mind she never even tried to call the insurance. She just wanted me to go away. I shouldn't have to hold their hand when they already said they are going to fill the script. Then she tried telling me it's not her fault, they are just the middleman. For being a Friday after 4pm she got someone pretty quickly on the phone and it's still going to get filled. I will be looking for another pharmacy. This is such a joke. My only hope is for anyone who gets their meds filled here to please speak up when you need serious medications and to double check your meds are filled correctly. These mistakes can cause people their lives and should not be swept under the rug. read more

BEWARE OF THIS PHARMACY!! They refused to fill 2 medications for a special needs 5 year child that was for restricted airway. The CA law has changed that prescriptions must be sent electronic UNLESS it's issued from an Emergency room visit or Urgent care visit. These meds were prescribed after hours from an ER visit. I have spoke with an inspector from CA BOARD OF PHARMACY and they confirmed I am correct about the law. This pharmacy should have filled them. They were very rude about the situation. I am filing a formal complaint with the board. If you have a paper copy prescription from the ER that you need filled urgently DO NOT GO HERE!! The management at this location is ridiculous! While in line there was one employee working at the front. She needed management clearance for another customers transaction. She called on her walkie multiple times for management, who ignored her. I could tell she was getting flustered that they were not responding. Not only were they not responding they closed the door as she continued to call for a manager. The line continued to grow while waiting for them to respond and come to help her. SHAME ON CVS. I've been using this pharmacy for years and years, but I will be going to another pharmacy from now on. I am under the care of a pain management doctor. I had surgery today (Friday) and he called in pain medication for me. They refused to fill it because it's "a day and a half too early for me to need it" and they wanted me to have him call to tell them they could fill it...even though he already called it in. I tried calling his office, but it was too late, it's now the weekend and I am stuck in intense pain because these people can't be bothered to do their job properly. I had a prescription transferred here from Riteaid , the same day I received a text letting me know they had to order it I call the following day to inquire about it and the lady that answered first wouldn't let me get a word in after asking her about it she kept cutting off. I finally had to to raise my voice to ask to please let me ask her a question and she finally stopped talking and I asked I can inquire with another cvs if they had and she said your insurance will not cover it just go into any store and but it over the counter on your own. I called another cvs and they had it there in Temecula I went there picked it up and wouldn't you believe it my insurance covered. I called in a prescription on Sunday, the patient went to go pick it up and was told nothing was called in. I called in the prescription again and was asked if I could send it electronically, not possible since I was out of the office and they were obviously annoyed by this. This time I spoke with Rhea and also Emily. Again the patient went to pick it up and was told the prescription was not ready since the wrong name was written... But I called it in??? Then the pharmacy proceeded to call our office and insinuate that I was rude. All because they had to take a prescription over the phone and the patient was irate at this point since they were suffering in pain. Either do your jobs or work somewhere else. I was at the CVS on Winchester Road in Temecula on Friday afternoon. Every time I visit this store there are never any shopping carts. It should not be my job at age 67 to be told I have to search the parking lot for a cart. Nevertheless, that is what I was told to do by the Black woman employee on duty in the front of the store around 4:00 pm on 5/27. Shame on CVS. Is that any way to treat customers? Senior customers? Pretty sad customer service. The 99 cent store right next door somehow manages to keep 25-30 carts all in a very organized fashion outside their store. This is one of the worst pharmacy. I had two bad experiences. Both time they texted us and said the prescriptions are ready to be picked up. When we get there they have no idea. Then they try to give us something which was not prescribed. After we push the pharmacist, the pharmacist checked and updated the date of today then they said we have authorization. Had sort of a weird experience here. Had just woken up and came in to pick up some items for a trip im going on. I was wearing a pretty baggy outfit, as i had just rolled out of bed and it was like 30 degrees outside. As i'm getting ready to check out, i look at the smaller items up front just to make sure i didn't need anything, and the man at the register (who was in the middle of ringing someone up) goes "uh....excuse me !!! do you need help?" and had a concerned look on his face, as if i was stealing or didn't belong in the store. I told him i was fine, just looking, to which he kept looking at me for a few more seconds and then said to the customer he was helping "i'm very sorry about that-" and continued to ring him up. Since i was ready, i went to go to self checkout, and as soon as i started walking over, he called to the other lady to ring me up at the register instead, even though he told every other customer to go to self checkout. Once me and the lady started talking, I was mentioning how i'm going on a road-trip and was picking up some things, maybe he realized i was just a lazily dressed person and not a squatter or someone trying to steal. The lady helping me was very very nice, so i thank her for that, but i can't shake how weird it was he was acting like that, especially interrupting his time with another customer to make sure i came up to the non self register.
