ANDY, This guy is always difficult, rude, and unpleasant. He is always ready to raise his voice at customers whenever he disagrees with something, even when the customer makes a very small mistake or when it's something that isn't even a big deal. Whenever something doesn't go the way he wants, he becomes irritated and rude, raises his voice, breathes heavily, and shows a very unpleasant attitude toward customers. I told him, "This isn't a big deal. If you're tired today, you can stay home. You shouldn't come to work if you're going to treat customers like this." I honestly don't understand why the gas station hired him. There are many other people who are more qualified, polite, and capable of providing good customer service. I visited the Chevron station today at 9:46 PM with my father to purchase a Juul device and pods. My father, who is 59 years old and faces a language barrier, relied on me to translate during the transaction. (Note: I am 31 years old) However, during our visit, the man in the register began yelling at me, asserting that I could not translate for my father. He also questioned my age, suggesting I did not appear old enough to purchase the vape products. Additionally, he made inappropriate remarks about my father's appearance and eligibility to buy the items. I offered to present my driver's license as proof of age and clarified that I was simply assisting my father with translation. I took out my Driver's License out to show him, however he completely ignored it. Despite this, the man insisted that I stop speaking and intercepted my father's driver's license from his hand. This incident has been incredibly traumatic for both my father and me. The employee justified his behavior by saying that Chevron's policy states that customers cannot translate for others or each other and how it's illegal. We have been loyal customers at Chevron for many years and have never encountered such treatment. Nor have we ever had anyone tell us that translation is illegal in Chevron. This appears to be more than an isolated incident; it feels like discrimination against my father and myself because we are Asians. As a result of this experience, I will never use this Chevron located in French Valley and a former complaint has been filed to Chevron corporate. Even my 7-year-old sister was frightened by the way we were treated. This incident has left a lasting negative impression on us. I see that others have made similar comments about an employee's behavior and I'm very surprised that Chevron is keeping him as their front employee to represent them at this location. His behavior is racism and unacceptable. Nothing can justify his actions. read more

Worst gas station. Employees are great but something is always broke weather it's the card swipe, receipt never prints and don't even start about the car wash. That thing needs to retire. I've lost count his many times I've has to go inside and get another car wash because it just stops in the middle, every time. I need to start going to the gas station across the street. read more

Pumps don't work properly, payment gets rejected half the time, and the car wash is absolute trash. I've had countless issues with the pump card readers at this place. No, I don't want to go inside to see attendant during a pandemic, please just read one of my cards. Any card would be fine. Just read one. I don't have issues with my cards at any other gas station. Finally, fix the car wash. No one appreciates paying for the most expensive wash to only get half a wash with no blower fan to at least blow off the soap. I mean, at least the car wash kiosk at least accepts payment. Perhaps we should all just be grateful for that. read more

Old man that works night shift Horrible customer service! When I asked to check my cigars to see if they were fresh enough to smoke , he refused then told me that that ruins them for other customers ??? After trying to explain why I check backwoods cigars , I eventually said whatever and layed a twenty dollar bill on the counter .... he then tells me not to throw my money at him ! After picking up my money I turn to exit store in complete frustration!! I then hear him say "don't come back" I live around the corner, between Purchasing cigars and coffee on a daily basis I also buy my gas here Conservatively 4-5hundred dollars a month Ridiculous! Whenever I come here there's no receipts in the gas pumps you always have to go to the clerks - today first pump I pulled into was out of order, second pump card reader was not working, then 3rd pump had no paper for receipts - since I brought a car wash I had to go inside - when mentioning it to the clerk - I asked whys there no receipt paper all the time? And she says with smart ass attitude "cause it ran out" then as I was walking away her and coworker started laughing. Are you kidding me? Nice customer service. The customer service is the worst!!!!! Also because the lack of customer service my car got messed up. When I say the car wash isn't working don't act like I'm some kind of idiot. The old lady with the blond hair needs to be schooled on what her job entitles and I'm pretty sure customer services is part of it. I really like this chevron. Only thing I really don't like is how close the parking is to the gas station. For people like me who likes to turn wide, does not work. Besides the parking and the crowd, it's not bad. read more

The worst service ever! Wish I had read the reviews before going into the car wash without any cash!! I pushed the help button and asked if they could give me a code and I would pay after, because I wasn't aware of the exact change policy! First they couldn't hear me because of the car in the wash before me, so I pushed the button again several times. I got a "what do you want" response from the cashier inside. I told him there was a car behind me and I couldn't back out. He said get out of your car and come inside to pay! He was so freaking rude! July 2 2014 my son took his car to the carwash and it put a big dent on the side of his car,he told the manager and make him write a clame form, they never call us back so I decided to call the gas station my self to get any answers so the manager told me to don't even waste my time that the owner most like it wouldn't do anything about it anyway.i decided to call chevron corporate office and file a complaint the very next day the owner of the gas station call me and ask me to give him a day to see how he can get this fix. The next day the manager call me saying that the owner will not do anything about it. I spok to this guy catpich on there corporate office and tell him the situation and he said he will look in to it. Another victim..two months ago my husband sustained damage to his car. He immediately contacted the store. He was given the corporate number with no response. He filled out a claim and was told they would review the tape and get back to him. We ended up filing the claim through our insurance hoping they would be successful. No such luck. Very disappointed with the lack of personal responsibility from the manager Karl regarding faulty equipment. The corporate office is no better returning calls. DO NOT USE CAR WASH! Its single track is faulty. It pushed my car out of track and up against a post inside the wash. I was stuck inside until person in line behind me got help. It did $750 damage on my car. But what is worse - the owning franchise will not return my calls!!! Their incident form says to call 510-270-3412 which gets to voice mail for Kpish Goyal. I did reverse-call research and found out the name is Vinters Distributors Inc., 41805 Albrae St #2, Fremont, CA 94538-3120 phone 510-657-9150. Further research online found review by another person of similar incident where claim and calls were ignored. Do me a favor - boycott this station as the company has disreputable business practices. read more
