So this station has 30 pumps and the process is fairly fast. The gas more reasonable than at regular gas stations. The staff here are always willing to help. I saw a staff member helping an elderly disabled customer. This made my heart so warm and grateful, that in an ever changing world that there is still a sense of humanity in businesses. You had one employee out there working at the gas station during a high peak time with lines and lines of cars and no one directing the traffic. We waited patiently in line and was pulling forward to the front as a car left and we were next to go, just to have some disrespectful, punk kid with no morals and conscience swoop through and cut off an entire line of cars to steal our spot and no employee to say anything to him (if I worked there, I would have him leave the pump and get back in line) as he ignored me when I tried to call for his attention while we finally pulled up to the pump behind him just for him to ignore me like an entitled brat sitting on his phone the whole time. Bigger gas station, much more organized, lines might still be a little dumbfounded because people refused to move, but still pretty fast compared to most Costco gas stations. Has diesel fuel, not necessarily the cheapest gas price with $4.399 average while at this point of the month some places might have gone down to $4.199 just saying, didn't have to drive around a big parking lot to get to the gas, overall a very accessible entrance and easily to navigate. read more

Yesterday around 6pm I drove to the Temecula Costco for gas. I drove to the furthest gas line near the trees. All 3 gas pump lights were red. I was the next in line. the middle car drove off and when it turned green I moved to that spot in the middle. I heard a guy yelling and when I got out of my car to pump my gas I realized he was yelling at me. He said "what makes you think you can just cut in front of me". I apologized and said "I did't realize. I thought you were pumping at that gas tank". He yelled "yes you did. I was trying to get to where you are. I should be where you are and you should be where I am." I again apologized and he kept yelling and tapping his head "you need to be more mindful" and continued to block my way to the pump. He then yelled and got even closer with hand gestures, "you need to slow down and be mindful of what you are doing". No matter how calm I stayed or how apologetic I was he didn't stop. His anger did not match the situation. He kept berating me and blocking my way. Finally I said "it was a mistake" and got back in my car and shut the door. He then yelled really loud "F***". I was going to move forward, but someone had taken that spot already. And I was on empty so I really didn't have a choice but to stay and get gas. But I was afraid to get out. He started pumping his gas and glaring at me. The female attendant walked over to my car. She didn't say anything to him, but she stood next to my car. I stayed in the car until another lady came over and said to the attendant "There are all these men out here and not one of them came to ask if she was ok so I'm going to make sure she's OK while she pumps her gas". And that's what she did and I was very grateful. I thanked her and pumped my gas. The guy finished pumping and drove off. I was afraid he was going to purposely hit my car, that is how angry he was, but he didn't and then I was afraid that he was waiting for me in the parking lot to follow me home. In retrospect, I realized that he was the one that was actually in the wrong because he was waiting at the last pump, which made it red as if it was in use, and instead of getting out and pumping his gas he waited there and was tying that free spot up while waiting for the person in front of him to leave. And because I came up when I did it looked to me as if he was pumping there. He was the one not being mindful by holding me and people behind me up. But again, I didn't realize that until afterwards because I was so flustered and taken off guard by the experience. I'm actually afraid to go back there and that's not OK. I shouldn't be scared to go get gas. read more

Glad I found this Costco gas. You can see it off the I-15. However, to get to it. It's sort of tucked behind other shops. Once you find your way back there. Their prices is still better than anywhere else I've seen. At the present time in Southern Cal we are paying all time high prices for gas. At least it feels like it. I came by when the rest of the world is still asleep so again. I was grateful I found it and found my way back on the I-15. Have been to this location for gas on a few occasions when venturing to see friends. What I've learned is whatever you do ... DO NOT pass the Costco building if you are coming from the highway, turn at one of the first two entrances for the mall and use the inside street to venture to the gas part of Costco. It is extremely difficult to get in line coming from the other direction, as everyone is in a hurry to sit and wait for gas but not to let anyone else in front of them. Anyhow, on this occasion they had 2 separate employees directing incoming traffic (once you are near the pumps NOT towards the street) to the pumps but I guess nobody was paying attention... there must've been a good 20 cars zig zagging in the area to get to a gas pump but as soon as I pulled in, I followed directions and got to a pump right away in the far right, as everyone was squeezing into the far left spots. Anyhow, gas is the same price as Chula Vista. Not sure if that is a Costco price thing as I've found that different areas are different prices, but price was the same amount this time. read more

Decent Costco location. Like a lot of the Costco gas stations, the location is not ideal to handle the traffic volume. This one is not bad or great. It is a little tight to get into line but with the large number of gas pumps, it seems to move pretty quickly. I came in the late evening before closing so it was not to busy. It has been several years since I was last here so I was a little unfamiliar on traffic patterns and entry. I can see people getting a little lost when it is busy. Getting out back to the street is a little complicated as kind of have to drive through the parking lot to get back to the main road. I like the new LED lights showing open and busy pumps. Also, gas is always cheaper than the surrounding gas stations. read more

Unlike some of Southern California's roadways, this Costco gas station is designed for maximum throughput. There are 10 lanes here, more than I've seen anywhere else. Each lane has 3 pumps, so 30 in total. And not a broken one in sight! In front of each lane is an LED sign showing the status of each pump - whether there's a car there or not. Ever been in the situation where a car up front has left, but you weren't aware due to the view being obstructed? Those days are over! Gas here seems to be 20 to 40 cents/gallon cheaper than what competitors charge. The amount you save on gas in a year could already pay for that Costco membership! One caveat of this place is that access is optimized for cars pulling in from Ring Rd to the north. If you're coming from the south end (Overland Dr entrance), getting into the gas station can be a little tricky during peak hours. Plan accordingly. read more

Great Costco Gas station! Each lane has 3 pumps and probably at least 8 lanes, so there has been basically no line for the times that hubby and I have been here on our way up and down for Yosemite. The price of the gas is slightly lower than other gas stations in the area, but, if there's a long line, I think it may be better to just hit a local gas station that has no line. We were at Costco getting some stuff, so we decided to stop in and get gas while we're here. The prices weren't that much lower than Arco gas stations if you use cash. The lines are long and people aren't considerate, in fact, they take their sweet ass time to get their gas. While we're in and out of our station right after we get our gas. We don't stay around and chit chat, we don't block the area for other cars to wait to pass through, and we don't sit in our cars and play with our phones, forgetting that the gas is done pumping. For 10 cents less than Arco, it's not worth it to me. To each their own, though. read more

The Costco gas in Temecula has really improved after the reservations they made. They have always had the best gas prices around but the traffic congestion and lines were trying. They also only had 1 lane that had diesel and it was the first lane where you entered which created issues. After the upgrade there are now 3 locations per island instead of 2 and ALL locations now have diesel. Even though there are still lines things flow much smoother and as I said in the beginning, they have the best gas prices for their members. read more
