Frankly, I would take them just being opened late (to 12 AM or so). Since Medway and Medfield are both NOT 24 hour pharmacy's this should be. Just since coming to Millis I have had two occasions to need medication past 9 PM and had to truck to Natick in the middle of the night. The hours are also completely inconvenient for anyone who works. It should open at 7 AM and close at 11 or 12. A few weeks ago my doctor called in my prescription at 8:30PM. I got dressed, checked CVS hours and went to get it. The pharmacy closes at 9 PM. The store 10. Huh, I would think that would be the other way around? Fine. So I arrive at 8 AM the next day and there is a staff of 1. Of course at 8 AM everyone and their brother who couldn't get their medication is going to show up. There are 4 customers in store and two more at the drive through for the one / two employees. And every single time I go there if I ask them for any variation on the drug they have no other pills. I swear they have like 4 pills back there for everything. Or they just don't want to accommodate me.

Drove there to learn that not only was it not ready, but the printer was broken. I was told they would reach out if the printer got fixed and my order was ready. So I drove an hour to the party without it. While at the party I got a text telling me my order was ready, so I drove back. When I arrived the woman behind the counter was shocked to see me, and said "I feel very badly, as it's still not ready. That wasn't a message you were supposed to get". So yet again I left without what I ordered and needed. There are no words for how much I dislike this store and its inability to actually treat its customers properly.

The tell you things aren't covered that are and it usually requires numerous calls to get it straightened out. My current issue has been going on for 3 weeks now. Hours on hold between CVS and our insurance. They are rude, do not care if you get your medications or not, and have no interest in doing any research on their own to figure out the actual issue. Unfortunately we just found out recently that the store will be closing at the end of November it will truly be a loss not only to the town of Plainville and its citizens who live there but also anyone from nearby who has been going there for years just to get their prescriptions and then you get the random grab a candy bar or you might get a birthday card that she thought you'd forgotten because it half price. Jackie who owns it is truly a wonderful person and she really does great things for the community she even delivers them for a seniors who can't get to the store for their medicines. In the past few years my mother had moved to California and couldn't afford her insulin out there and Miss Jackie would take and bundle it up and mail it to her in California so she always had her Insulin. Some snacks from other places cost $2.99 while CVS would be $3.99. I usually go there to buy candy or gum. It is pretty close to the middle of town where most people are. The parking lot is not that big but there are also not a lot of people that go there. If you don't like talking with other people, this place is your friend. It is small so it is easy to find things and then there are two self registers with even one that takes cash. I rate this place a 4.5 and would go there for a while until I move away.

I never heard from CVS, and I can no longer speak to a pharmacist because of their new automated phone system. So I drove there, only to be told it's no longer covered, and I need a new prescription. My Doc did that, and CVS site said prescribed, 3 refills left, so I went to pick it up, only to be told it wasn't filled because it's not covered. No communication regarding this...So now I call Medicare. The first med is in fact covered. CVS lied to Medicare and said Doc never prescribed. He prescribed the second one too, but the generic isn't covered...he didn't prescribe the generic. I'm now switching pharmacies. This not the first time I've had probs getting meds at CVS, and one time it was critical! We had to go back to the hospital to get meds after I had surgery. Goodbye CVS!

Prices in Walgreens I've found are otherwise NOT competitive at all, Aside from Rite Aid, They are pretty pricey. I do however love their seasonal section. Most of the decor is 10 bucks or less and they have a lot of different candy options in the same aisle. They were selling pumpkins at the end of the season for a buck at the register. Cashier was super friendly and helpful to assist when one of my devices needed a charger I couldn't find there.

BUT, I was looking for Valentine's Candy, and this was RIGHT on the way home. There was NONE. Yeah, it's the night before Valentine's, but come on!
