Really great experience at the local Walgreens in Foxborough Massachusetts. The pharmacy is always friendly explains everything never gets upset when you have a question. The girls in the store very knowledgeable what they have what's on sale and are always helpful he will take you right to the item if you can't find it yourself. Pharmacy is a mess. 18 minutes on hold. They keep answering and saying "hold on" or just picking up and putting me back on hold to stop the ringing, or one of 3 other things. Completely ignorant. Act like a normal human, not an ignorant careless person. read more

One annoying thing about Walgreens is that very few of their stores have the same policies with coupons, and you'll either find a very strict store or a very easy going store regarding coupons. So far, the stores in Needham and Newton are my favorite because everything I buy there they always make sure I'm satisfied with my purchase and allow their cashiers to manually enter coupons that don't scan (which any stores should do, if the coupons are for the correct product!). I've been getting engaged in couponing lately, and while it's horrible when a coupon doesn't go through for the correct item, the correct customer satisfaction standards should be put in place. While Walgreens (under company policy) has the right to refuse any coupon, management here did not handle my situation correctly by an means. Both, store manager Denise and assistant manager Jennifer did not take the correct steps in correcting the issue, which was very upsetting. In this case, I was trying to use two coupons on two items and the system would only allow for one coupon, even though the coupon stated on it that there was a limit of 2 per household per day. They said they would have to do them in completely different transactions which I was not okay with since I wouldn't receive the points for purchasing the items to my account since they weren't in the same transaction. Keep in mind, there was no limit to this deal and the managers in stores in Norwood, Needham, Westwood, and Newton all put through these coupons without any hassle whatsoever. I don't like to cause an issue for the cashier, but the assistant manager could have either manually entered the coupon (because they have that power) or done them separately and then added the Balance Rewards perk to my account manually (because they also have that power). No matter what, if four other stores were able to complete the exact same purchase there is no reason this store shouldn't have been able to. I called corporate about this issue and got a call back from Denise, who I spoke with for around a half hour who kept repeating herself about the system and how manually entered coupons are not supposed to occur, ever. She said she'd follow up with corporate on why the coupon wasn't scanning, but I never got a call back, and was offered nothing for my trouble with my transaction. I will not be returning to this store, and would much rather go to my regular location in Needham or Newton to get the best service that all customers deserve. If you live in Foxborough, the CVS on Central Street is the best pharmacy in the area. Skip this place... even though it's clean and organized, it doesn't have good service whatsoever. PRICE GOUGING ON SCRIPTS had 8 scripts at rite aid. walgreens bought them and moved the scripts theIr pharmacy same meds same insurance all meds are generic rite aid 47.25 walgreens 99.85 when asked why the reply was "same insurance, i cant tell you why". Not the pharmacies fault. corporate decides the rates. may try walmart or go back to CVS read more

I absolutely can NOT say enough great things about this store, its employees and ESPECIALLY the Pharmacy and Pharmacy staff. I have never once had any type of issues picking up my medications. Everything has always been done on time and if for any reason I have had anything to ask, the pharmacist has always been knowledgeable and helpful. You don't always have to go to CVS because it's convenient , this store is more than worth the extra min drive down main st! read more

Top notch Pharmacy. Pharmacists are attentive, responsive, and informed. And they're nice about it. Always a good experience, although not always memorable. That's a good thing. The retail portion is clean and well organized. Doesn't seem to be too busy. Getting in and, most importantly, getting out quickly shouldn't be an issue. So rare these days to get excellent customer service or someone to go beyond to helped you out. Lori at Photo's so nice and friendly, but most importantly corrected an error of centering 200 Christmas cards and reprinted them with a smile and good attitude while I waited, so I didn't have to come back. This store is terrible. I stopped in there to but a 12 pack of Diet Pepsi and it took me 15 minutes. It should have taken me 5 at most! They were apparently having "scanner problems" so I could understand a longer wait but this is the part that got me pissed off. The manager was circling the store (did this about 3 times) and doesn't bother to open a new register. After waiting 10 minutes I finally get checked out and I walk out and he is just then opening a new register. Get this: I was the last customer in the long line and there was only one person checking out at the register he just opened. I have no education in the business sector and most likely never will but I am confident that I could run that Walgreens better than that idiot they have working there. He doesn't deserve to have his job because he isn't doing it well. Get a new manager and maybe you'll get more business. read more
